Athalia Academy: Season Two - Finding Bael

Nikola stiffened when he realized that several of the students attended his class.

Now, by no means did he not despise the kid known as Crash: the student aggravating to contain in his classroom. Like any other human, he seemed to be interested in Lovelock's mechanical inventions. Not that he was surprised, but the inventor wondered if the student had to break his stuff in the process. One of them was something he intended on showing Margaret, though it was only a matter of time for him to replicate any of his creations. Still, this red-haired student simply did not synchronize well with him.

Then there was the reddish-brown-haired girl, Kathy. His classes were fairly hard to follow along, though she seemed to do pretty well for a student who never met him before the classes began. She was not as bothersome as Crash.

For some reason, however, he could not bring himself to yell at the two at any moment. He tended to boast about himself, sometimes to the point where it was humorous, and he really did not mind shouting at others, regardless of how important their background was. However...

Nikola simply glanced at the two, though the glowing lights shining out of his mask's eyeholes did not reveal that. With a simple grunt, after having finish several more orders in mere seconds, the bartender simply muttered directly to them,

"Welcome. My data proves that it is no surprise to have met you two."

The masked man froze suddenly.

He put down the glass he was cleaning, putting down his cleaning device as well. The man then reached for his mask, touching the sides of it.

Two small smokes of air lightly shot out underneath his mask. Readjusting the metal that covered his scarred face, the teacher told Crash and Kathy without any doubt in his mechanical voice,

"It is not that rare to see engaged students entering the bar. Anyway, give me your orders, and I shall get you your products immediately."

Nikola was doing his best not to directly look at Crash and Kathy. After all, red hair simply reminded him of a certain person. It would be bad for him to do something weird when he just made up such a bad-ss introduction for himself.

Wait, did anyone else even remember him?

Meanwhile, within the kitchen, a small, delicate container sat still. The container had a sleek white design scheme to it, and within it was a person. The person's full figure, however, was blocked off by glossed glass. Serene, quiet breaths escaped the container with an elegant rhythm.

Ryuu suddenly laughed. At this point, he had grown quite accustomed to the surprisingly well-mannered snake-woman (he was still sort of weirded out). To a large majority of people, however, he simply looked like a thief who just found a bag full of gold.

"Er, well, if bad things happen when I see your eyes... hm. Maybe we can ask someone like that old man Brako for some placement magic? He seems capable of that, right?"

The otaku did make a good point. If Brako did have some kind of magic like that, then it was highly likely that there would be a way to prevent the sunglasses from moving around. It seemed that something was wrong with her eyes, which did take him aback. It was not his job to feel sorry, however, but instead, do something that would not make him feel like that.

And there were thousands of melon farms around here. What more could he want?

"If that's alright with you," Ryuu said, stretching his gloved fingers, "then we could just go to him right now. Whaddya say, huh?"

Still, Ryuu felt like he was forgetting something... but for now, he needed to be a melon farmer helpful to someone who did not treat him like "crap-on-first-sight." People like her just made him feel softened, which remained to be a foreign, yet pleasant feeling he had not felt for a very long time.

It applies to pretty much anyone with hair color related to red. So yes.

Finally got home. Now I'm writing the stuffz up for the IC

On another note, that does bring up a question: why is there sand at the pool? I mean, going into the pool with sand on your feet would be destroying public property, so... yeah.

Just say they washed their feet outside of the pool or something. o-o
