Cortez simply mumbled like a sad child, "Sorry, aye..."

Ryuu was relieved to have finally get some treatment. He had followed the orders somewhat densely, but willingly as well. His back facing the ground, he felt his wounds being... fixed up, so to speak. It sort of reminded him of how those Medics in Starcraft healed Terran Marines with some random gadget on their hands, except this healing magic was actually coming out from her hands. The feeling was pleasant, and it seemed to bring even more life to the plasma within him.

The otaku turned to Adenine, who began to talk about her past. It surprised him, actually. She was a pretty girl who practically could not remember anything about her past life. Ryuu had it easy. All of his memories came to be when he was seven years old, and he remembered mostly everything around that time. To not have a past like everyone else would was a terrifying thing.

Let them say what they want, Ryuu thought solemnly. The past is never a thing that people should move on from. To not have that past is even worse.

Kinda like how I don't remember how my lil' sis died around my middle school years. It scares me.

She seemed to recollect some peculiar memories, such as getting love letters. She was even a student body government's president! Boy, he was darn lucky to have met a girl that was smart and from an anime-

Ryuu, he thought to himself, Shut the f-ck up.

Ryuu continued to let Adenine heal him, and would eventually stand up once she was finished. Cortez, on the other hand, simply tugged at David's shirt with a bright, yet humorously fearful look.

"Matey, this captain needs her crew to move confidently, I'm afraid... aye."

Indeed, she had some sort of trauma with going alone. Every time her father went out for a mission all by himself, he came back with most of his limbs disassembled for unknown reasons. She did not want to end up like that, which made her stick with others as much as possible. She still wanted to go to the infirmary.

Give up.

Now.

On another note, the image does fit the character, so no need to change it.

I don't really use TOO used characters. At least, my student characters, that is. :P

way to start the day saying funny sh*t, NK! LOLGood mornin peeps

that's where my massive salary comes from

Mornin'! Hngh, my body is so tired. It's not ready at all.
AND I'M BACK.

Posted at the IC as well. I think Ryuu's going to become the main protagonist of Ragdoll Simulator 2015 or something.
"Later."

The otaku waved Isse off. Well, at least that guy wasn't a pain in the butt like the party crasher. The fact that he was not looking for inappropriate things made him feel relieved. He sure did not want to show his bad side just yet.

Then, Adenine mentioned something very true.

"...You know, actually," Ryuu said to Adenine after thinking about it again, "I'd rather be treated by you. I'm getting a feeling I'll die if I go in that friggin' infirmary..."

"Methinks me wanna meet the doctor, though," Cortez said, her eyes somewhat shining. "M' mean, me technically can heal other lubbers."

What she said was actually true. She had healed her own minor wounds whenever she was injured by something in her adventures as a pirate captain. It had proved to be useful, and even save her life in many dire circumstances. And she had to catch up with her crewmate's incredible recovery rate. Had she not found a way to heal herself, she might have been a pirate captain forever, standing by her skeletal crewmates looking just like them.

Ryuu's eyes widened in disbelief. "You? Heal? How?"

Cortez gave her usual toothy grin as she took out her pistol. She suddenly took out all of the bullets inside it, putting away into a pouch by her hip. After a second's worth of searching, she took out several green pellets suitable for her gun. Loading them into her weapon, she locked the gun's ammunition chamber.

She took a step back and, without any hesitation,

she shot her own head.

"See?" Cortez said in a somewhat childish manner, somewhat proud to have let others see it. "I'll shoot you once to demonstrate!"

Ryuu dumbly asked, "...Huh?"

Cortez shot Ryuu's face with her profound-looking gun. The otaku staggered back, struggling to remain standing due to the sheer impact of the bullet, before lowering down an extremely aggravated look. One of the bruises he earned had ironically disappeared.

"Adenine," Ryuu said, folding his sleeves up to his shoulders, "I definitely think you should just treat me."

Thankfully enough, Cortez's fairly blunt action seemed to lessen the blush on the otaku's face. However, it was because of his flushed condition that prevented him from attacking her. His mind was still wandering off the safe realm of two-dimensional worlds, dangerously setting foot on three-dimensional ones.
Made one past post before i sleep. Night night
"...Uh, sure, I guess," Ryuu said, an eyebrow raised. This guy was certainly yet another weirdo, he could tell, but... he was at least not like that fool who crashed the party. In fact, while he was creepy in a way, Ryuu did not exactly feel intimidated by this student.

Alas, his defensive mechanisms for Adenine were extremely high.

...

...So when Isse decided to go ahead and be a little tease, Ryuu froze deathly still.

He barely managed to seethe out with a flushed face behind the student, "I just met her today..."

Cortez gave a toothy grin at the compliment, a light blush forming on her cheeks due to the praise. She had the tendency to have blood rush up to her face whenever someone she did not know of complimented her. It just sort of made her feel happy.

"And I you, Isse!" Cortez said in a strange fashion, still hiding behind David for no reason at all. "Speaking of which, methinks that we should set sail for the infirmary!"

Indeed, Ryuu did have a fairly battered body The otaku wanted to protest, but he did not want to look like a try-hard bad-ss in front of Adenine, David, and even Cortez. And maybe Cortez could have some of those stupid, small bruises her body earned at the "party," which ended up barely qualifying as one.

Teroteax remained nearby the infirmary. He was not really feeling that sleepy, and maybe he would be able to find his roommate! Needless to say, he was keeping himself well-occupied with his boombox.

Yeah true. Spamming GIFs and going ham on random stuff.

And sharing bragging rights. That's the main juice. XD
