"Oh, um... Yup!" Cortez said, not knowing what a Rosetta Stone exactly was. She heard her father constantly calling her that instead of using her real name whenever she decoded ancient texts, but it sounded like a particularly pretty pirate name. Also, hearing that Andromeda did not seem to hate her ability for no real reason was even better. Boy, she hated it whenever her crewmates constantly bickered about how their captain had a logical AND useless ability, but they had no ill tones in their voices when they said that.
"This eye of mine is really good in many circumstances!" Cortez said, puffing out her chest with pride. "And methinks I'll get to use it in classes today!"
She then went over to claim her bags, looking at Andromeda as she pointed at the dormitory door. "Me gotta go take classes, now! Pops'll be angry if I never took any, aye!"

Ryuu smacked his forehead. Yet another mysterious guy just ninja'd his way into the hallway! Something had to be done about that freaking set of burgers Adenine had, but she did not seem to realize it! And not to mention, they all looked better than him.
Except for Isse. Maybe. Just maybe.
...On a second thought, he beats me by a freaking mile, Ryuu thought depressingly. He was an otaku, after all. What did he expect from the world when he already had Meru-chan, right? Still, he really did not want to leave Adenine by herself. And the thought of her getting picked away by some annoyingly handsome prince irked at him.
But alas, maybe it was better this way! Maybe he should just-
-...To hell with it, Ryuu thought, staring away from the white-haired girl. That kiss was probably far from mutual. Maybe I'm just kinda overthinking things!
Ryuu's depressing aura somewhat lessened. That's right! Maybe he still had a chance to back away- at least, right at the moment. For he was not mentally prepared to begin chasing after a woman... again. And it was just a dangerous path for a man to go after a girl if she already had a whole baggage of men following her. If his sister consoled him with actual trustworthy information... MAYBE he would start a chase.
...That f-cking CPR is gonna be the death of me, Ryuu thought, attempting to go away unnoticed. He did his job making it look less awkward for a bunch of pretty boys to surround a girl, so he might as well chill out somewhere... right?
By the time he went to the gardens, he was already regretting his decision.

He never should have gotten that CPR, now that he thought about it. She did not even deserve a punk like him, but his mind never wavered in imagining anime girls. And when he thought about anime girls, that girl kept on popping up in his head! Ryuu clutched his head, sulking nearby patches of brush, constantly biting his gloved finger as if he were a villain that had been outsmarted in a game of wits.

So I took a break from that huge chunk of an artwork I was making, and I had begun to make short, lined-paper sketches of your characters instead! (And I want to ensure that we have a basic solid character group now that the main characters are becoming concrete to the plot... as well as "some" antagonists.)
I will end up making certain groupies of certain characters, so don't think I'll simply skip over yours! Requests are obviously appreciated for the sake of satisfaction, so as an example, I will post up a short 4koma involving Ryuu, Terotrax, and Isse soon!
And by soon, I mean WAY soon. I'm still kinda busy. ._.' (which is the reason why i can't post at IC... I can't think, type, AND study at the same time)
