Magic: Medela: Tainted Remedy. He can transfer wounds from one person to another, including himself. He needs to be able to see the two people he's transferring wounds between, and more complex wounds will take longer to fully transfer. He can send a cut almost instantly, but it would take a minute to transfer something like a projectile wound that goes through organs.

Strengths: His magic has a pretty long range, and can be pretty debilitating in battle. When fighting on a team, he has the distinct advantage of being able to keep his team fighting and fine, while still hurting the adversary. He has a fairly large mana pool, and He also can use his own life force as mana, but he does this sparingly, as he cannot heal wounds created through this process.

Weaknesses: His magic is seen as very, very dark, so it's scares most people. In addition, due to the nature of his magic, he always needs to strike second. It also requires a bit of concentration, so he needs either distance between himself and the enemy, or he needs them to lay off for a few seconds. He also needs to be able to touch the wound he wishes to transfer.

Catalyst: He has a set of gloves with runes inscribed on the palms and fingertips.

Inventory: His catalyst, a small dagger, nothing else besides that.

Are They The Leader Of The Squad?: Probably not

Personality: He really does wanna help people, and he hates that the best way for him to do that is to hurt others. He'd be lying if he said that he didn't love the power he gets from his unique magic though. While he hates hurting people who don't deserve it, he loves that he can inflict a sort of karmatic justice on people. Was a first year beat up by a bully they could never stand up to? What could be better than giving the bully a taste of their own medicine?

Backstory: His mom was a human Medela mage, and his dad was a human that happened to be possessed by a Pythones when he was being conceived. While this didn't affect his biology, it's probably what gave him such a double edged sword of a magical ability. Dad disappeared before he was born. His mom was a Liseranna alum and his family has a lineage of mages stretching back many centuries , so she had expected him to have some form of magical prowess from the moment he was born. He inherited his catalyst from his mother, who inherited it from her father,and so on. he first discovered his ability when his mom was patching him up from a scraped knee. He wanted to be like mommy, so Richard asked for the catalyst, and healed his knee, but gave it to his mom. This scared his mom, who was still able to easily heal her own wound, but was still shocked that such a thing could be done. She decided to start homeschooling him, and getting him to control and learn how to use his magic, but he always struggled on how to heal without harming.. At the age of 12, he was sent off to Liseranna, where he has been learning and mastering his magic ever since.

I have a tentative idea for a mage, but I wanna check on his magic skill quick.
I was thinking of a Meela mage who could use their magic to heal by swapping wounds with others.
So he could heal a burn victim by moving the burns to another person, or even himself.
Or, offensively, he could wound himself in battle to transfer it his opponent.
