Smiling at Andy, he very pointedly didn't tell her if she was right or not. About to gush about his recent mist related achievements, he was cut off as the room filled with mist. This was odd, to say the least, and he was ready to attack whatever the hell came out of there. It seemed, however, that Rebecca wasn't perturbed much by the phenomenon, or at least, she wasn't afraid. That kept him from throwing his knife blindly into it at one of the figures, but he was still on his toes. He never knew what to expect any more, and that meant he was always a little on edge.

As the woman stepped towards them, coming into sight, he watched the ferret run up is shoulder, and gagged as it farted. Coughing, and glaring a bit at it. If Rebecca hadn't made it clear that this was a god, he probably would have thrown it off himself immediately, but now he was afraid of what wrath that might impose. Giving him a little pet, he followed Andy's suit, also unsure of the protocol for introducing himself to a god "And uh, I'm Arthur, Miss Hestia... Ma'am?" He said uncertainly, he wanted to ask why the Goddess had just shown up here, but he didn't know how rude that would be.

Oliver Sullivan

Location: Hangar ->Virology Lab
Skills: Superspeed

Flustered by the entire situation, Oliver panicked. He didn't want to be in the middle of the politics of this situation, that wasn't why he joined SHIELD, he just wanted to do good work and help people the best he could. He couldn't. however deny Hill. That was how people got reassigned to an Antarctic research facility, and Oli hated the cold. He just awkwardly nodded, he backed up a few steps, before starting to speed off, only for the worst thing possible to happen. He tripped, and fell on Hill, knocking the both of them over, with him laying over her. He started scrambling to get up as quickly as possible, muttering something about being sorry, though he was incapable of forming proper sentences at this point. After helping her up, he sped off as quickly as he could.

Moving quickly was something new to Oliver, but he was slowly getting used to it, and he had confidence that he'd eventually be able to it without this much effort. Zooming into the Virology Lab, he noticed that something was going on with Cass, with lots of people crowding around here, and Sparky was on a stretcher. Coughing for a moment, and leaning against the entrance, he said, "When she has a moment, Director Hill told me to get Agent Reed, she needs to talk to her." He still felt awkward, after putting her life at risk the way he did. He knew she was under a lot of stress right now, but he was sure she feared the Director as much as he did, so he didn't expect much push back.

Elizabeth didn't know what was worse, the pain in her neck, or the fact that that the headmaster already wanted to talk to her, before she even had arrived at the school. If she were getting in trouble for something she'd done last year, she would assume that she'd have gotten an owl over the summer warning her, and she doubted the Trolley Witch would have snitched on her yet, given the calamity that had befallen them all earlier, so she was at a lost for what the man could have wanted. Scoffing a little at Zelda, Elizabeth just shook her head, saying, "Whatever you need to tell yerself"

She didn't like the idea of leaving her cat behind, but she expected the teachers to at least treat Shadow with a bit of respect. Stepping back to her stuff, she leaned down and gave her cat a little pat on the head, saying, "I'll see ya' later baby, be good for me!" Standing up straight, she gave one last look back at her stuff, hoping nobody would mess with it while unattended. Shaking her head, she started down the train, following after Zelda and Paige, and ending up in the same carriage as them. It wasn't that she particularly wanted to spend more time with either of them, but it was the closer of the two carriages, an she didn't know where Fae was.

As the giant face recessed from view, Eliza felt that primal fear in her mind sink away. The massive alien was gone, and the day was saved. Some might see it as an anticlimax, but Elizabeth collapsed to the ground once he was gone, a smile spreading across her face. That was her first mission, and more than that, it was for the fate of the world. This felt surreal, and amazing, to have done something good for people. More than that though, the existential threat was gone, and that was a load off her back like nothing she'd experienced before. Looking at the group, she said, grinning, "I remember one of you promising me Vegas after this, y'all better not cop out."

Locking her eyes towards the sky, she took a breath in. It'd been a hell of a day, and she needed some celebration in one form or another. If this was what her life was to be, then she'd have to find some ways to deal with the stress. This was fun and all, but hell if it worrying about constant death didn't take an emotional toll. She felt like she had a headache, and wanted to sleep for a week, neither of which were particularly pleasant feelings. Sitting straight up, she looked at the people around her, and smiled. They'd make good friends, she thought, and decided she'd have to get to know them better after this. Almost forgetting, she smacked her hand back on the ground, and freed Sue, before they left her on the roof in a concrete dome.

In the Quinjet, Oli had been dealing with one of the worst cases of hunger pangs in his life. Being recently entered into the speedster club, he hadn't realized that being able to move at these speeds had a major drawback; a metabolism to match. He needed food, and he needed it now, literally salivating at the smell of the bar food in the jet. He knew there was work to do, but he felt like if he didn't eat right now, he'd be unable to focus on anything else. Really, this was dealing with a liability the team would have had to deal with later. Getting ahead of himself, his speed kicked in, and he got a few fries down his mouth, before quickly struggling to swallow.

Coughing up what was shoved in his mouth, it soared and hit the wall in front of him. Gasping for air, he slowed his intake of food, and peeked his head as he heard Tinley being chewed out by Director Hill. That was a voice one didn't forget, not if they were interested in continued employment, that is. Cleaning up the mess he made in the Quinjet once he was finished eating, he knew he'd need to go out and make it clear they were heard. He swallowed hard, and stepped out of the Quinjet, and gave a silent acknowledgement, just a look at the two of them, and continued walking forward, hoping they wouldn't want to talk to him about what he'd heard.

Arthur's frustrations quickly went away as the most adorable puppy formed in Rebecca's hands. He liked cats more, but it wasn't like he couldn't not immediately fall in love it. Cooing for a moment, he looked the cute thing in one of it's pairs of eyes, before turning his attention back to the task at hand. As the attention shifted to playing a game, he thought for a moment, looking Andy over. He believed she'd get in a fight, and she didn't have any real objections about the ship yet, so he believed those two. By process of elimination, he figured she must've gotten the knife from something else, so he proclaimed, "You must've gotten the dagger some other way, because you didn't get it from a monster."

He continued to respond with his own take on the game, saying, "How about this, I like cats quite a bit more." He said, conjuring a three headed kitten, in one hand "Birds are even better though!" He said, as he stuck a hand to the ground, as bones swirled around his hand, forming into a bird on the fingers of his other hand, "And I'm secretly a prince of a small country you've probably never heard of." He said, as a small tiara sat on his head. In his experience, a lie that was close to the truth was the best kind, and even if it seemed outlandish, he bet that would throw them off. A slightly annoyed look crossed his face at the end of his statements, but he was happy to see he finally seemed to be gaining some kind of control over his powers.

As the bus lurched, Elizabeth barely moved, keeping a steady hand on her luggage. It took a lot to shake her, not even the reality warping shenanigans of the Knight Bus could knock her off balance, but that came with the territory of being a seeker. That was the role she was born to play, it seemed, as it took a kind of unshakable confidence to dive after a small object heading straight for the ground, which she had in spades. It seemed, however, that the Ravenclaw's seeker weren't as good on her feet. As she shifted more and more into her the persona she took up at school, she felt that good old competitive itch in the back of her head.

Taking steps towards the front, Flame shot a cocky smile at Zelda and said, "Z, be a good captain and tell yer seeker that me outflying 'er ain't gonna be half as fun if 'er leg is broke." Kneeling down next to poor Audrey, Eliza lifted the luggage off of her, shaking her head. She wasn't going to help her up, as Eliza believed in self sufficiency, but shot a playful, yet mean look at Josefina, saying ,"It's my beaters job to bust up yer friend, not yers, got it?" She gave a sigh, before breaking out into a chuckle, and grinned at Zelda, saying, "Looks like you might need some new recruits, don't ya' think?"

"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, that's somethin' else ain't it?" Elizabeth said, slipping for a moment into her southern tongue. If this were the face of God, she'd honestly not be surprised. Things this large were not supposed to exist, and something in her monkey brain felt the urge to either deny its existence on the face of it, or get down and worship it. Deciding now would not be the time to prostrate herself before this alien threat, she opted to let her brain tell herself that, whatever her eyes might be seeing, it couldn't actually be that large. Elizabeth blinked for a moment, as they seemed to turn this summoning of Galactus into a comedy roast.

"We're not scared of you!" Elizabeth found herself calling up to him, in spite of the actual fear she did feel. "We beat your tin man, what makes you think we won't beat you?" She was speaking out of her ass right now, but she did have one thing on her side; their ignorance, "Even if you are powerful enough to stop us, we have the nullifier, and we're too stupid and reckless to be afraid to use it!" She called up at him, "So what'll it be, you fucking off to another planet, or oblivion? I know which I'd choose." As she spoke, she gestured up at him, trying to seem too crazy to call. They had to convince him that there was a chance, just a chance, of them killing one of their own to save their world.

Arthur watched as illusions popped up in the room around him, Arthur was impressed. He knew of course, that they weren't real, but that didn't matter, he saw them, and that was surreal. Looking over the maple bar, a surprised look crossed his face. He couldn't tell the difference between it and something real. "That's very good Andy, let me give it a shot." Concentrating for a moment, he wanted to make a mist version of her, but nothing was happening. This didn't seem to be something he was preternaturally gifted at, but that was never something that stopped him before.

Trying again, he thought it'd be easier to make something smaller, thinking making a muffin would be funny, but he was incorrect. Try as he might, he couldn't get anything to show up. "How, do you do that?" He asked, visibly frustrated with his failures. He looked over to Rebecca, hoping for some kind of guidance. He wanted to be able to do things like that too, if only for the reason that it was extremely cool. Being able to make illusions at will would be fun, and he could only image the types of pranks he could pull if he could make people see whatever he wanted.
