Rising out of bed, Arthur stretched his arms. He knew people would take note if he holed up in here all day, so he couldn't really let himself do that. Plus, arguably more importantly, he knew Andy would be worried about him if he didn't show up soon. In a way, it was nice to know somebody cared, it gave him something to fight for besides himself. That was important when things are as bleak as they are, it could be too easy to lose hope, and give up. Andy kept him accountable, it made it so if he gave up, it wouldn't just hurt him, it would hurt her too.

Changing clothes, and stepping out of his room, he started to head up to the galley. For a fleeting moment, he wondered if any of the sea gods cared about the Argo III, it was technically a boat after all, or if they found it be be some kind of an affront to their domain. Flying ships with just so fantastical, that he could only assume that fantastical creatures had some opinion on them; they were too interesting not to. Making his way to there, he gave a small wave at Kristin, but otherwise stayed quiet, as he tended to getting himself some breakfast; cereal and orange juice.

Thanks to her backpack, Elizabeth had what she needed on her to defend herself at almost all times. Extradimensional spaces were nice like that, it meant she had no excuse not to be prepared. That thought in mind, she was short of changes of clothes. No point in being prepared for spontaneous adventures after all. Heading off to her room, she wasted no time. She picked out a few simple outfits, her latest journal, her MP3 player, and of course a pair of headphones. Dumping them into her bag rather unceremoniously, she turned back towards her door, and headed back down.

Entering the lobby, Beth tightened her blindfold. All she could hope would be that the friction their group already had wouldn't result in calamity, but that was out of her hands. The route they had opted to go down for conflict resolution was the classic method of not talking about it and hoping it went away, which in her experience seldom worked out well. She supposed however, like most things today, they'd have to hope that things went their way in spite of all things conspiring against them. Her worry, was that this was fate they were dealing with, and leaving absolutely anything to chance would result in failure, but focusing on that wouldn't help.

Oliver forced a smile at Captain Britain, saying, "We appreciate that, thank you Sir." Even under the pretenses of their visit, Oliver was a Cardiff Native, he was raised with a certain degree of respect for this institution in particular. He was the hero of Cardiff, and after the protection he provided in the attack a few months ago, he could only assume he'd gotten even more popular. Nodding at the two of them, he was about to echo Niah's sentiment, before pausing and saying, "I'm tuned into a lot of feeds and places, send along your daughter's information, and if you'd like, I can see if I can pull anything up. Last known location, photos, that kind of thing." He said, before stepping over to the desk, and jotting down his number and email on a scrap of paper.

Handing it over to Britain he said, "Anything I can do to help, you know?" Before turning back to Niah. "Yeah, of course. St. David's." He confirmed gravely. "It shouldn't take long to get there from here." He confirmed, before starting forward, and stopping. It felt like he wanted to say something, to come up with a reason to stop and stay, but he knew there were none. Anything he could come up with would be excuses, and he knew he owed his mother more than that. Drawing breath, he continued forward, and just said, "Let's go then. No point in delaying the inevitable."

Elizabeth keeled over after being stabbed, clutching her side. "And fuck you too." She choked out, before curling up into a fetal position. She really really needed to learn how to handle herself in combat, or her insides would end up being her outsides. In a way though, being stabbed was a blessing, it kept her from making any snarky, contradictory comments. Though she wasn't looking up at the situation, she gathered from the noise around them that, in fact, they had managed to take down Runa. That was good, since it felt like she could be coup de grace'd at any moment.

As blood trickled through, he shirt, she coughed, and sat herself up, keeping pressure on the wound. She gave an annoyed look to Mary as she pushed the game along, hoping they could, at least for a moment, take a second to breathe, but apparently not. As Klara healed her up, she smiled at the Asgardian woman. Heals were always nice, as dying would severely throw off her plans for the future. Standing up shakily, she rubbed the blood off her skin, and winced. Her shirt felt gross now, as the blood stains began to cool and get sticky.

Arthur cleared his throat at Andy's observation, that nobody else would be able to teach him how to control the dead, and said, "I don't mind taking a break from that for awhile..." Looking down at the ground, he frowned. He didn't want to mess with any of that, death was too much for him right now, and he was worried about how being this emotionally unstable would impact what he summoned. He was okay at controlling the mist though, and he might focus on that more instead. It felt less evil, he had no baggage associated with it, and most of all, it was fundamentally non violent, something he cared a bit more about now.

Apparently they'd be heading to a scrap yard for repairs? That sounded fine to him, assuming everything went smoothly, which it probably wouldn't. He'd been reading myths a bit, and he knew that Hephaestus was the god of the forge, so he didn't have any doubt that that'd be able to get anything they needed there. It surprised him a bit that a god of creation spent time around trash, but maybe that was his passion; taking broken things and making them right again. That was something he could use right now, feeling pretty broken himself.

The following night, he'd managed to get a bit of sleep, but stayed in his room for a bit after coming to. Time on his own seemed a commodity at this point, one he would spend with reckless abandon. Rolling over in his bed, everything seemed fine in here. Nobody to die, no monsters to cause problems. As long as he stayed here, nothing could go wrong. At least, that was the model he constructed in his head. he knew it wasn't real, but it was a nice idea.

A look of scorn crossed Elizabeth's face for a moment, before softening. Runa, at the end of the day, was right. She was trying to make things about herself, and that wasn't what had to be done right now. She just nodded silently, before turning over to Nadia and shrugging. This wasn't her show, and it was time she stopped trying to make it that. It was Runa's time to shine, it seemed, and prove herself. It was only fair to give her that chance, though doing it in a time of crisis like this was hard to cope with. She was just going to make things more difficult if she kept trying to seize control.

Personally, she thought she should go with the Baldur crew, her blindfold kind of made her idea for sneaking around places, and this would definitely be a stealth mission. She initially opted not to argue though, and just rolled with it all. This wasn't how she would divide the teams at all; her ideal division would be Arnora and Elizabeth on different teams, split up the milenia of experience between them on each team, keep Runa on the team to get her dad, but pair Elizabeth with her. That would leverage their resources more optimally, and she pursed her lips for a moment, before holding to her decision, and keeping her mouth shut.

Oliver nodded at Psylocke, before saying, "We'll appreciate your cooperation, thank you for your time." He said, before matching Niah's look. They had to go do that, something he was dreading, and had no idea how to do. Everything else in his life? Hacking, a Skrull invasion, hell, even making friends? He could study for that, he could prepare in some meaningful way. Not this. It was too personal. There were books and seminars and endless amounts of platitudes and advice for dealing with grief, but none of it mattered. This wasn't somebody losing their mom it was him losing his mom.

As the conversation drew to an end, he realized that was what was next. They were out of things to stall with, and all that was left to do was gaze into the abyss. He felt like running, but he couldn't do that, not with Niah here. Damn him, for bringing an accountability partner. Quietly he said, "Yeah, we need to go... tend to that. Niah, we're good to go?" He asked, partly to explicitly check to make sure they were safe to leave these two alone and, in a way, asking was a way to get that final push to leave.

As Klara's healing washed over Elizabeth, she gave a relieved exhale, feeling her leg return to normal, "I owe you one, thanks a bunch hun." Shortly after, she smiled at Antoinette and nodded, "Much better, now, let's-" She started to say, before the game spit out a person. A familiar person, one whom Elizabeth had scorned not a minute ago. "Oh, I guess she found her way out, Hey Runa!" She said, before noticing that while Runa has returned, she was not herself at the moment. This, she surmised, was not good, a hypothesis which was confirmed by the assault on Lance.

This was of course, not good, and as Klara hopped on explaining her powers, Elizabeth mentally made a note. Had she not said that, Elizabeth may have let some snarky hero-esque line escape her lips, which would have ended poorly for all of them. However, she did get another idea from Klara's exposition, one that was terrible in all the possible senses. She had one advantage over the rest of them, she had a robot arm. So if she went to grab the staff, it shouldn't hurt her, since she wouldn't be touching it. That sounded logical enough to her, and as such, she rushed the girl, and ripped it out of her hands.

Shortly after, she realized that this was what some may call a mistake. A stabbing pain shot through her body, and she let out a cry. Thinking on her feet, she tried to transmute the staff, but found her powers unable to do so. This was of course, not good, so she settled for the more obvious solution; chucking the damn thing. Giving it a hurl away from both of them, she put about five feet of distance between Runa and her staff, and interposed herself between them. "Hey, if it makes you feel better," She started to say, the aftershock of the pain reverberating through her body, "I am sorry if I wasn't the nicest to you in the jungle. Turns out, you coming and choking my friends really makes me see you in a different light, you know?" She snarked, hoping the others would be able to keep the staff away from her.

Arthur mirrored Andy in a way, taking a step closer as well. He couldn't hear her, but he knew it was important to stay close to the people who you could trust and who you had, and that was Andy right now. He needed her more than anything, and a part of him knew that that need was reciprocated. Everything felt so terrible, but maybe things could be a little better as long as the two of them were together. Even if that meant that didn't stay at the camp forever, they could be safe and maybe even happy together.

Taking her hand again, he squeezed a little, before turning his attention to Alannah, "So she just abandoned us for no reason?" He asked, a little coldly. The sea of monsters? Bermuda triangle? Circe? These terms meant little to him, outside of having faintly heard conspiracy theories about the triangle. He didn't understand why she would just leave them. That didn't make sense in his head. They were, it seemed, at least kind of friends, and to just abandon them all seemed cold, and a little sociopathic.

Well, that was the quiet part out loud, but Niah wasn't making any sudden moves, so he assumed everything was fine. Exhaling a sigh of relief. "Well, were any of you separated at any point from the rest of the group?" He asked. If even one of them was replaced, that would still be a threat. A Skrull Doctor Strange sounded like a nightmare scenario. "I do want to apologize for coming here and practically accusing you of being one, but these are delicate times, I hope you understand." He apologized Rubbing his temples, he nodded at the Captain's suggestion.

"That's a good idea. The only problem, of course, is that America is a bit on fire right now with Hill's laws. We'll have to see if they'll corporate." Oliver honestly didn't know how Professor X actually felt about all of this, but he hoped they'd be able to put that aside to end this literal alien invasion, "The only catch, of course, is if Professor X has been replaced, he wouldn't help us. Would you be willing to come with us, should that be the case?" He asked. He knew it was a big request, but in the face of the fate of the planet, he had to think that they'd be able to get some form of help.
