Blood Oath
Just a drop, and your life is overThe world has ended. An entire continent, devoured by a great menace consuming and abusing everything in its path. None were spared, every single individual given their own hell. So, as they cling to their last string of hope - survivors, those brave and foolish - chose to flee their homeland. Sailing the great seas, these people headed to a little known continent to which they've attached their future into. It would be their new home; their chance at a new start in this ruined world.
Yet, as fate would have it, it's not simple. With a drop of blood, all shall be hell again.
Upon arrival, their eyes set upon the Cathedrali and Praetorium Sanguinis. Seeing great structures, untouched and pristine, their hearts swelled with anticipation for their future. Greeted by placid strangers, they were led to the Praetorium. There, they were presented with a parchment of their own. Illegible scribbles line and circle the parchments and one by one, a dagger prick their fingers, blood drying out on the parchment right after.
A heaviness settled within them, as if to cement them to the ground. The feeling dissipated and once more they're overcome with hopes for the future. They would live here. The would make a life of their own. Evil will not reach them, and while the world ended, it could be built anew, here, in this strange continent.
They were wrong.
After leaving the Praetorium, they were able to understand the idle chatter of people around them. A revelation dawned on them in the most unpleasant manner. Blood-bound servants. Nothing but servants to these new masters. That's what they were.
I would like to have this RP with at most 2 people. A 1x1 RP is fine, but I think it would progress more if there are three people putting posts right after each other and if one is in a slump, there would still be two people able to continue the roleplay. However, I'm fine with having four people after the RP has gained some traction.
This is set in an original world and details are up for discussion. However, there will be no play on races this time. All characters are default humans but with the possibility of developing into something more, something different. Magic is also present, but except for the Blood Oath and a few magics, it's not central to the RP. This would be one of survival, a fight for freedom, and exploring this new world.
Dark themes and plots are greatly enjoyed. Romance is fine, but nothing lasting because of the struggle for freedom of survival taking priority. Smut is fun, but I suggest moving to discord for that, while the post fades to black.
