From his vantage Point Giovanni noticed to spikes that normally indicated a bankai release. The first was in the middle of the battle and was followed by the eradication of a good number of hollows. The second was accompanied by a eruption of water that he could see from where he was shooting. Judging by the cold feel of it, it was extremely powerful but the one he was fighting with it disappeared. Oh well, hopefully that meant this invasion would be just about over with the leader gone. But chances were it would mean that the hollows he was controlling would go back to their mindless selves and get even more wild.

As if on cue there were several hollow shrieks and several broke from the chaos and started rampaging in Gios direction. of the five he only shot down two before they were close enough to warrent him drawing his sword. thankfully he had prepared for this, having activated his shikai a while ago he drew his now glowing blade "ROAR" he slashed in an horizontal arch unleashing a semi guided blast of energy that took the heads clean two of the remaining three, but the last one jumped. this one had some semblance of sense it seemed. but that wasnt he issue, the issue was that while this one was trying to occupy his attention others were coming as well. he held his hand out toward the jumping hollow and his sword to the approaching ones. from his hand he let out a Hado 1, Sho which pushed it back farther into the air, giving him enough time to launch a Hado 32 Okasen, wide yellow arch of energy from the blade of his zanpakuto, at the oncoming horde to take most of them out. then turning his attention back to the now falling hollow a Shakaho was all it took to take it out. with a bit more breathing room he took a step forward and tried to regain his line with his original strategy but would use Bakudo 9 Geki to hold some of the quicker ones still to kill them.

So far Natsume was only interested in one thing, Ryu. Which mean she didn't hate him. This next one, Jizo didn't seem to stand out in any particular way except for his teeth. And the Jonin that finally decided to grace them with his presence was already acting like a piece of work. He wanted an introduction, that wasn't exactly too much to ask for but the way he asked concerned Natsume. He had most likely been there for at least half of the sparing match so he clearly wanted something a kin to personal details. The likes of Which Natsume wasn't apt to give. A simple rank wasnt enough to earn respect to her, and it sure as heck wasnt anything that earned anyone trust, esspecially hers. Natsume Yuki, 13 was all she volunteered.

2. I am not sure about the technique. If you only limit to controlling your own water, then I am fine with it. With that of others? Not really. That is what I am a bit unsure about.4. Sounds reasonable, but a limited range would be something I would like to see. Lets say around 500 meters? Not too far, but still enough to give some advantage.

2. hmm ok I can do that. it might work better that way actually with the water chakra release skill. I believe the technique uses naturally present water and moisture. but using only my own water could be just as useful.

4. It only works via Physical contact. I have to be touching him. but since I plan to ride him thats not an issue.
@Gero

2, whats wrong with that jutsu in particular? hopefully i can explain it

4. the sensory transmission is for the summon. when the summon is tracking something he can link with the wolf and share the experience. thats the only way he uses it.

Natsume saw a flash of light fly through the mist toward where she was heading. It seemed like their sensei had an axe to grind with teammate number three. So long as that axe didn't come her way she didn't care, and probably would never care. Caring wasnt something she knew how to do, or waned to know how to do for that matter. But what was slightly disconcerting was that the light was most likely a lightning release. Surrounded by water that could turn out pretty bad if anything were to go wrong and the last thing Natsume wanted in her life was an incompetent sensei. She stopped walking for the sake of not being electrocuted by the abundant moisture. Deep down she admited to herself, that she was about to hate this entire experience from this point until she died.
sage glanced around, "why not just ask the ever present elementals. or are all of them busy with this special visitor we have a knock knock knocking?" it was obvious Sage was worried, as made evident by the fact that he himself split from the group, ignoring the apparent danger that lurked right outside the castle walls.
Kaji Kamigami stared up into the raining clouds. The down pour chilled him to the bone but the rain storm captivated his soul. For a moment, he closed his eyes, embracing the wind and rain. He didn't know what he loved about it but as it got heavier and heavier it was like his issues were being washed away. Standing in the rain it didn't matter that he had no cable to watch Saturday morning cartoons. It didn't matter that his mother quit fighting with him about his behavior and just let him do what he wanted. It didn't matter that there wasn't food in his stomach... ok scratch that, that one did matter as his stomach growled in protest. He opened his eyes once more trying to remember where his destination was supposed to be. He swung his bat over his shoulder and started walking again. It was nice that the streets were empty of people for the most part. That way he could hear nothing but the downpour all the way to the store.

"you again, how many times do i have to tell you to stop coming here?" the store owner yelled as soon as kaji stepped through the door. Kaji simply glared at him through his wet hair and continued inside anyway. "didnt you hear me?" the shop owner yelled louder

"yea dill-weed i heard you the first years worth of times you open that catchers mit of a mouth and in case you aint get it then, im paying there fore your shutting the hell up. " Kaji snapped back as he browsed for something to eat.

"thats it I'm calling the Police" the shop owner spat back

"go right ahead, and in the 20 minutes it takes them to show up its just you and me, soooo how is that fixing anything exactly" That shut up the shop owner long enough for Kaji to pick something out and drop the money on the counter and walk out. once outsidethe door he looked around, seeing that there was no one there he turned around and pissed on the front door. After he zipped up his fly he knocked on the window to get the keepers attention, flipped him off and walked away.
Sage made a face that was a perfect blend of confusion and annoyance "so thats the way its going to be. protect us but shutting us away. when do we actually get to fight. i'll admit we arent ready now but when? Before this becomes a cycle type thing where you never think we are ready and eventually get cursed out"
Holding the line wasnt exactly difficult, although Giovanni almost felt bad about not being in the midst of the fray. But he did feel good about remaining alive so it wasnt all that big a deal. it seemed the only advantage these hollows had was surprise. other than that they werent anything special and were seemingly weak. At least the ones that got within his range were. Gio kept shooting the low level kido with enough precision to kill in one strike and enough force to knock them back a few feet. he reached his left hand to his sword "inhale " he said calmly to have his zanpakto begin charging energy. it was only a matter of time before something big made it through. depnding on what it was, being preemtive would probably work to his advantage. he let out a few blast of Hado 30 shakaho before settling back into his dual wield byakurai position. some medic had set up near by and he usually covered them as they were healing others and escorting, usually unwilling, shinigami to the back line to be healed. But from the looks of it, there didnt seem to be that many injuries. Among all the chaos and carnage there werent that many spiritual pressures that stood out. There were two high levels that seemed to be fighting each other but everything else seemed deceptively subdued.
