Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

Sitting on a bench in Azur Town, the avatar of a young man sat. His golden eyes fell downcast as he contemplated his situation. He was most likely inside of a hospital, somewhere. It was all so strange. Sure, inside of the game, he was one of the most powerful sorcerers, but that didn't mean too much considering how early into the game they all were.
Well, while he was inside, he was going to make the best of his situation. With a groan, he picked himself up, brushing the white locks from his face, and looking off in the distance.
His garb was long black robes, suited to a caster. Swiping on his interface, a staff materialized, and he started towards one of the roads, only to catch something unusual. What appeared to be a shrine maiden being yelled at by another player? Giving the man a nasty glare, he strode up to her. "Is he troubling you?"
Unfortunately for Rhaq'a, 'concoction' could mean just about anything. Optimistically, it was something to aid with her healing duties. Pessimistically, it was probably some sort of date-rape drug. Though she has yet to stoop so low, it's not entirely out of the cards. "Yes I'm... sure we'll both find something to help in our respective fields. There are a few herbs that are difficult to come by in Eorzea that I am hoping may be acquired here... I've yet to have any luck however."
Upon seeing his mate doubled over, he rushed to her side, offering himself to use as a support. "There looks to be some manner of overhang by the beach. Would you like to rest there?"
His chest tightened when she mentioned reservations. Hopefully it was simply to stay at a room, and nothing more sinister. Trying his best to ignore that particular train of thought, he responded to her suggestion. “Certainly. The main shops are down the middle here, but we likely won’t find what we require there." Gesturing towards his right he continued, “This path had an excellent view of the beach. Perhaps we could start that way? It should be roughly a circle around the apartment building. We can use it to orientate ourselves.”

Personality: Though Hades is a brooding lone-wolf, he can and will be sociable if the situation calls for it. Escapism is his favorite form of entertainment. Though he doesn't dislike school, he'll be the first one to ditch class if something comes up that interests him. History: This youth grew up with an upper-middle class family, but due to a tragic accident, lost them and has been in and out of foster care ever since.
A smile tugged at the man's lips as his mate was woo'd by the beautiful lightshow. Petting her head, he chuckled, "I knew you would want to be awake for this." Letting out a sigh, he looked towards the night sky once more, "I have been to Kugane a number of times, but never has it been so lovely."
Now docked, he stood, offering his mate a hand to make their exit. Now on the dock, he looked around the market street that seemed to branch off into a variety of residential districts. Putting a hand to his lips, he pondered, "Where shall we start...?"
School had just let out, but a certain teen had escaped classes without much notice, instead playing hookie so that he could be the first one to log into the brand new VR MMORPG. Despite being a beta-tester, they were still required to actually buy a physical copy. Much to his annoyance. The line for the game was much longer than he had even dreamt of. Though only a small few kids skipped class, there was an overwhelming amount of adults who—he figured—took off work to pioneer this revolutionary game.
The white-haired teen brushed back his mid-length locks as his golden eyes fixed upon the front of the line, that was perhaps only another thirty minutes out of his grasp. The anticipation was killing him, and he couldn't wait to create his perfect character.
As his mate snuggled into him, he gently pet her head with a warm smile. He was going to have some manner of conversation to pass the time on the ferry, but it was coming clear that she was exhausted, and could use the rest. The man's long tail beat against the ferry's seat as his golden eyes fell upon Shirogane. It was quite the sight.
Gently, he nudged her as the glowing suburb illuminated the night's sky. Fireworks from the summer festival burst brilliantly, shimmers of reds, blue and yellows played across the water's glint. "Rhy... look."
