I’ve worked min wage jobs and I’ve done the bare minimum and have still gotten the measly ten cent raises yearly and good references from them. There really is no point, bare minimum gets you by.

"Ah, let me just take a blood sample first, it'll analyze while we conduct preliminary testing..." Konrad grabbed her arm and wrapped an elastic band just below the shoulder. After fumbling around for a few seconds, he found a vein that seemed big enough to conduct the blood drawing. "As usual, this will sting." Slowly inserting the needle, he slowly drew blood until the vital was filled with Idera's blood. Promptly removing the needle and throwing it into a nearby trash can. Konrad placed the vial in a container marked bio-hazard and started to walk out of the room. "Follow me, I'll show you where we'll conduct trials. As for the rest of you, please don't do anything stupid. The guards will still be here, and I'm not held liable for any fatalities. Coming into a room full of dead bodies and empty rounds is a great way to ruin the day..."

Konrad patted the little girl's head. He didn't know what exactly snapped in the girls mind- In all honesty, he would have expected her to go stark raving mad some time ago, but it seemed she was still a little girl at heart.... Or she was just insane. Either way, it was nice having a supernatural who didn't regard him in such hostility, even if Sam was mentally ill. "We'll see Sam. We'll see."
Too bad he had to deal with to other supernaturals who decided they were the shit...... And his guards were getting restless.
"Ah, Dark Matter. Don't think we can't use lethal force if necessary. In all honesty, I'm the only man keeping you alive. One word from me and the guards would mow you down like the animals you are. Of course, that would be a waste of resources, but we can do as we wish. It's why the government gives us the big bucks... And we're not stupid. Don't forget we used tranq rounds to capture you. If you try anything stupid, we'll use 50. cal rounds. Ever see a man split in half because one single bullet made a cavity bigger than his actual body?"
Konrad then turned to Jason. 'Boy, if I see you do anything out of line, there's a reason why there's c4 placed in your collars. You wouldn't last."
"Now, can we please calm the fuck down? I'd hate to see punishment be carried out. You wanna see the ashes of the last subject who tried to start a fight?"
Shrugging it off as if it was a minor inconvience, Konrad started to service his tools again, waiting for Imma to come up so he could proceed with the tests.

Konrad simply gave a look of exasperation. "Go alone or together, I really don't give a damn. But your sister's going to have to come up, sooner or later. Come over here and we can start preliminary testing." The scientist started to prepare the vials and syringes as he waited for the subject to walk up towards him. IT seemed for once that he might see cooperation from a more civilized supernatural. If only the others were so willing, usually he'd have to break a few ribs to coax them to come for testing.
"Sir, a kid is looking at me funny. Can I empty a mag into that ugly motherfucker? Staring ain't polite you know....." Konrad sighed. It seemed the guards were as trigger happy as usual. "If he's making you uneasy, just keep your rifle pointed at him. Weren't you a delta seal or some black ops soldier? He's only a teenager, you're a highly trained killer. You could beat him to death even if he did try something...." The guards gave a reluctant nod and kept their rifles trained upon Jason, laser sights were aimed on his forehead. "Any sudden moves punk, and you won't be recognizable to your sister after we're done with you... Ever hear of hollow-point rounds? They'll rip you apart you cocksucker."
