@Dawkins I like the weapon o.o very cool. One thing though that I forgot to mention for those with 2nd year characters. Your character should be 18 since they have been at Beacon for a year now. A small detail, but yeah. He's accepted!

I hate to ask, cause I feel like i'll come up with one EVENTUALLY, but anyone have an idea for a new semblance for Heather?

If you do decide to change your semblance, I think its important to keep a few things in mind:

• 1. A semblance is a reflection of one's personality or a specific trait of one's personality. Save for Weiss who had one that was passed down to her, a semblance should have something to do with your person as a whole. If your character is someone who is a more shy type, perhaps think of a defensive semblance.
• 2. A hunter/huntress has one main priority: to fight Grimm. Think of a semblance that will work on Grimm or aid you/your teammates in a battle. Don't make your semblance something like 'she's quite lucky', or something that has nothing to do with fighting or increasing your chances of survival on the battlefield.
• 3. There is always an option to develop a semblance over time. If you can't think of one now, have your character figure it out in the IC. That could be really cool! So don't sweat it. :)

I see I missed some things but I'm all caught up now. First post is updated, mostly for me cause i like to be organized.

That said, the OOC should be up this time tomorrow, if not tonight while I'm at work. Graveyard night shift tends to leave me with some free time.

@boomlover Hmm, I would say it's as simple as how Blake uses dust with her clones. Each element would cause a different effect for your weapon. Say for example your character wants to turn Black Sun into a sword and use it to fight. He could take a dust crystal shard and have his weapon absorb it before it changes. If he were to use blue dust, he could have then a sword that was made of ice. Or even he could create whatever construct he imagines and it would be made out of ice, things like that.

Edit: I'm actually thinking of editing my character a bit and having her clothing have dust weaved into it. Most likely green (which is wind I believe.) That's an option.

@boomlover woah, I like him. Really cool and unique weapon idea. I can't wait to see how you use it. As for the semblance, it should be something that reflects his personality. I can probably think of something but I'd rather you come up with it. :) Either way, it's totally fine for him to figure out what his semblance is IC.

That said, he is accepted.

You should totally make the weapon compatible with dust. Just imagine the possibilities! No pun intended :)
