Weekend was busy, hot, and tiring. I have stuff to do, and this week is looking to be a difficult one. This is going to be a VERY uncomfortable part of my life.

DAMMIT! SON OF A-! One of my favorite fanfics is stopping, because apparently it's breaking rules. Not only that, The fanfic I'm working on will have to stop too, since it's similar! This sucks! T-T

I got into another online argument about shipping again! I said that I ship Blaze with Silver, and they said that she'd be more likely to be in love with Sonic. I can't see how.

Bio

Hiyas! I'm Otomos. OTOMOS THE CRAZY! HYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I've got a handful of years experience Roleplaying here and elsewhere, so don't think me a rookie! My Avatar once looked like a part of some sort of time-theme, but that's just Chronos after he was brought back to life and upgraded! My more favored avatar is either Dimentio or the Azure Flame God, but how does one resist a clock face?

But that's in the Past. Now it's a pic of Gwyndolin, the Dark Sun!

Prepare yourself for the Persona of the week/Month/Minute/Whatever! Try to guess which Persona it is when you see it in my Signature! This little tidbit starts within a week!

My return to The Guild could mean many things! A new RP, a revival of an old idea, my participation in the arena as a Low-Rank Grunt, but most likely my return means that I'll participate in the more recent RPs!

With that said, remember to eat your porridge and limit your fire usage (we are drowning after all)!

SEEYA'S!!!

York Shin. A city where money flows like blood within one's body. A city where great auctions are held. A city where the black market thrives. A city where money Iis both easily gained and easily lost. Some would think that one such as Zephyr would appreciate a place like this, but no. He hated this type of place. A place where prices change in a blink of an eye. A place where people are robbed or rewarded not because of what they had done, but what they had happened to have.

Zephyr walked through the crowds of people, following the directions he was given. His first objective was meet with other Hunters in front of an airship that had a ballon designed to look like a killer whale. His real mission is to travel into the dark continent with the other Hunters and record what will found. Given that the place in question was wholly mysterious, and his life would most likely be placed in danger immediately on several occasions, his price was rather large to say the least. Regardless, his price was promised and he was assured that it would be met.

The time to meet is drawing closer. Around twenty minutes from now. Zephyr could see the ship. It looked decent enough to be usable, and did not stick out among the others. He could see four people on the dock near it. Three adults, one child. He walked over to them, not introducing himself, for they seemed to be conversing with each other. There were still others. He had been informed more would arrive soon enough.

Okay so I have a slight concern for the level of technology that Silvack is using in comparison to the other characters. If im going by the capabilities of Hirogen body armour my character is capable of hunting prey through the mantle of a colapsed star. Im wondering if perhaps before we get to far in I should swap him out for something closer in technology to where everyone else is because from what I can see everyone is using projectile based weapons and mine is a rather powerful energy based weapon. Any thoughts? I have some back up characters in mind but I'm just looking for a general opinion at this point because I think his personality is coming off beautifully I'm just not sure about the level of technology.

I say keep Silvack and his equipment. Energy-based weapons may be useful against the enemies to come. Besides, I don't think every species would be on the exact same, or even close to, level of technology simultaneously In sci-fi.
...oh yeah. Scifi SWAT gear...I guess it would come with that.
Would it be fine if I added a binocular and nightvision function to Rowan's helmet, eemmtt?
Rowan Zephyr

It seems that everyone but the hunter is willing to introduce themselves to strangers. thought Rowan. ...The pain's gone down. I'll need to see the wreckage. Maybe these people missed something.

Rowan rose again from the bed. A strong soreness washed over him, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. He looked at the woman again and found that she had pointed ears. A mutation? A different species? Curiosity entered his mind for a moment, but vanished even more quickly than it appeared.

"Ignore the Hirogan's words for now. Silvack only really respects our leader." Rowan glanced at Silvack in mild annoyance. "Is the wreckage of our...'sky bird' nearby? I want to see how bad the damage is for myself."
Bryce Achar

Bryce shielded his eyes when the glimmering light emmitted from the woman. It did not take long for it to fade, but the next sight to see was...surprising to say the least. In place of the woman he had seen earlier was a creature with a beautiful, fiery red fish tail that made it's entire lower body, and the upper body of the woman he had followed, which was equally beautiful.

"A mermaid..." he muttered as he stared in disbelief.

It was a rare sight, even for a mercenary. Was this the reason the villagers were afraid? It was hardly any cause for alarm. Bryce took a few steps closer. He felt the water brush up against his metal boots. Not wanting the trouble of walking through the waves with heavy armor, he raised the volume of his voice to speak to the mermaid again.

"Is this the reason those villagers were afraid of you?"
I just realized that Rowan's gear is just a knife. Should I give him something more? Like uses for his helmet?
Rowan Zephyr

The woman that accompanied the old man spoke in reply to Silvack. She seemed annoyed, which was understandable, given the fact that Silvack just insulted their home planet with his description of the area.

"Firstly" said Rowan. "Silvack, I meant what planet this place is."

Rowan turned to face the woman.

"So the others are either dead or comatose, or whatever you meant by 'magical slumber'? This is problematic...I suppose we still should thank you and your elderly friend."
Bryce Achar

Bryce watched as the woman ran away. Not even even a few moments passed before the villagers started cheering. Some people called her a "damned bitch." Why do they see her as such? What was her misdeed? She was alone, and they simply stood there, whispering their hatred to each other.

"A village of idiots and cowards." He muttered to himself.

Bryce headed in the direction the woman ran in, seeking to calm and question her. He had a job to do, but with only a drawing of his target, there was not much to go on. He had obtained information that he had been seen somewhere heading in the direction he was going before. He can still ask the villagers another time. Maybe the woman might know something as well, though it is unlikely.

Bryce saw her in the distance...
Rowan Zephyr

Rowan got off of the bed he was in, grunting as the lingering pain spiked as a result of his movements. He checked under the bed. Sure enough his own gear was there. His gun, his knife, everything was there. Some ammo clips were missing, but that was to be expected. He sat back down on the bed, trying to wait out the lingering pain. He heard Silvack ask what had happened.

"It would also help if we knew where we are."added Rowan.

Everything had gone so suddenly that he had no idea what planet they were on.
Bryce Achar

A contract is a contract. A job is a job. If a profit is to be made, then make it.

Those are the words that always ring through Bryce's mind whenever he is hired to do something. He was a sell-sword, a warrior to be hired to kill. And he was hired to kill once again. The price was quite high for an old man, but it seems that he is a wizard. Wizards are not to be taken lightly.

The clacking of his metal boots could be heard amongst a quiet crowd, but they can definitely be heard here, in this small village. He looked around to find that some were worried. Their fear was not directed towards him, but to another. He walked over to the source of their curiously and fear. It was woman. She leaned against a tree.

"Is there something wrong?" Asked Bryce. "You seem to be the center of attention at the moment. They look at you as if seeing a new or dangerous creature. Have you done anything to deserve such attention?"
Should I have Bryce enter the village to meet up with Melody? Or will she find her way to the protagonists?
I guess in this case, being overpowered is when the enemy can overcome any technique or skill I use against them, in which case, I have to use a technique I almost never use.
