Didn't realize I got 100th post, YUS, I R MOST BEST, SUCK IT SLOOTS!
Took a look at Olivia's updated CS, and I'm kindof relieved to see that picture of her gunblade. I was actually worrying I'd made Thael's weapons too fancy, especially compared to the very utilitarian weapons other people have been posting. I wanted them to be golden and scream "jUUUSTTIIICCEEE", but I also wanted them to fit IC.
Also, dammit people, your characters are too charming, I'm gonna start twidling with relationships anyways XD.
I too imagine Freddy and Thael would make a great duo. If Freddy's the shouty team mom, Thael's the gentle giant team dad. They'd probably argue fairly often, as married couples do, out of sight of the rest of the team. Wouldn't want to upset the kids XD

"GAWD DAMMIT WOMAN HE DOESN'T NEED SPACE HE NEEDS HELP!"
"Maybe you're right, I just don't want to put him on the spot"

But they'd also team up for maximum effect.
"Alright guys, did everyone read the ops plan? It's pretty straightforward, but I want everyone to stay safe okay?"
*snickering in the background*
"WHO THE FUCK WAS THAT? If I find out who that was I will personally insert a cactus DEEP INTO YOUR BUTTHOLE! Pay attention you jizznuggets, this shit's important."
Edit: Aaannndd now I'm imagining Freddy and Thael quietly sitting in a queen sized bed together in nightgowns, Freddy reading a book and smoking a pipe while Thael works on his knitting XD

Alright, so, I updated my CS, made some changes you recommended, Prisk. I found a picture of Thael's shield, described the buff visual on his Limit Break, and added some drawbacks to While I Draw Breath. I also made some minor tweaks and additions here and there: I fleshed out Thael's personality a little more, extended his biography to include his time at the Academy, and adjusted some descriptions of his abilities for greater clarity.
At this point I consider his CS complete and ready for RPing, but I do love to go back and tweak things and add stuff as it pops into my head, but his weapons, Limit Break, and abilities are all where I'd like them to be. Future changes will be focused on fleshing out his personality and past. Let me know if there's anything that needs adjusting.
On the relationship front, I agree, establishing how our characters feel about eachother beforehand would be extremely helpful, especially for an RP like this where their relationships are so important. I have some thoughts on how Thael would feel about various people, but if you don't mind, I'll wait until the cast is revealed to type them all up.

Hi OOC, I forgot about you! How's everyone who's not constantly on the pad doing.
Good to hear, both on spear count and the IC progress. Thael is pretty much complete, barring some minor peaks. I've made a few updates if you want to check back.
Hey so who wants to help Thael retrieve his spear after he does Sunspear?
I personally don't like number systems for RP's like this. I much prefer writing it out and really getting caught up in the moment. We're all reasonable people who know what we're doing, we don't necessarily need a number system to tell us what's going on.
I was thinking about some stuff.
So characters draw in spirits that are atuned with their nature/personality. Would characters potentially draw in additional or different spirits as the story progressed, if they found themselves changing?
Are guardians directly integrated into the normal military? Do they hold army ranks and follow the hierarchy and all that?

Hmm, I think you're right on that front; the nonlethal does seem more appropriate.
