@Ezekiel Hmm, alright. I'll endeavour to wow you with my CS.

Gonna need to do some revamping. It's solid right meow, other than some awkward wording here and there, but I need to solidify the 'why' of my character. At the moment there's an awful lot on his parents, but I think the 'why' of his personality needs fleshing out.

Unless I made his parents the why...

K off to do some writing!
@Ezekiel

Very fair, it does have a lot of potential for powergaming. I was so enamored with the concept I didn't think too much about that, I admit. I think I'd better build in some weaknesses. The idea is it's a high end job, but fundamentally a compromise between combat functionality and good quality of life. That suggests some inherent weaknesses.

Some thoughts:
-Only core functions EMP hardened (basic movement, life support)
-Even with high end security, still vulnerable to hacking (except perhaps core functions)
-Limited endurance? (Limitations on how much can be powered at once)

As I write that last one a thought comes up: ever play Crysis? Something like that might work, except only strength, speed, and armour. Like, he could harden internal carbon weave to resist bullets, but only as long as the power supply can last, and can't use enhanced strength or speed at the same time? Similarly could provide boosts to speed or strength, but only for limited time before the power supply needs to recharge. When not in any particular mode, he'd be no better off than any regular augmented person (that is to say, slightly better than a baseline human, but far from superhuman). Thoughts?

As for discord, I'm a fan. I find it's really good for brainstorming.
I think I might just the keep the bio too long and write a TL;DR at the top.

Should I mention cybernetics in appearance or in a different section?

Also, it occurs to me kinda late, but is it alright to have my guy be almost entirely cybernetic? Like, basically a brain and a spinal column in a cyborg body?@Ezekiel
Mostly done my CS, my bio section sort of exploded so I'm looking at trimming that down.
@Ezekiel Excellent. I'll get to work on a CS.
Hey, still accepting new players? Also, were I to be accepted, could I potentially play a hopelessly idealistic Peacekeeper? Far from ironclad, just a concept that interests me after reading through the setting and the IC.
Oh fun, I'm interested.

Probably going to use the Concordat, anyone interested in doing a bit of a shared history?

In brief, they're a cybernetic heavy offshoot of <insert race>, born out of a civil war, fled to the stars. Probably still mortal enemies with the baseline <insert race>. These days they're largely caught up in their own projects, which are various ways of evading or confronting a Doomsday they're quite certain will come soon.
Always interested in a setting that lets me use psionics! Putting together an app now.
Thanks, guess I missed that.

Can't really envision a scenario where the Concordat would have access to such machines, as I do remember something about cloning not working on genelocked tech.
Out of curiosity how many people are using/have warmech knight suits?

Missed the blurb on these, what are they?
