Oh my god @ Thunderhawk picture

I just

I can't, I frigging can't

I don't have the words to describe how perfect that is, I just... omg

Ooh, that gives me a question! If your character was an animal, which animal would they be?

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Casino: Texas Hold'em Poker Table

“Hmm? Dinner? With me? And my help? On something?” Josette suddenly turned towards Lisette with renewed curiosity blazing in her eyes. She was still indeed interested about this mission the Pride hinted at earlier, not to mention she couldn’t resist hanging out with Marcus and the offer of free food. Why… it was like Lisette didn’t even need to ask! “Of course I will! Dinner sounds perfect, and I’m starving too! I know a really good place we might be able to get a discount at too, actually. Trust me, you guys will love it!”

Estelle’s eyes narrowed again, and she looked towards Lisette with a pleaful look, before resigning to a heavy sigh. As much as she disliked the blue haired former bandit… she couldn’t deny that Josette was a good shot at getting information about the resort’s missing women. Or at least, she’d better be or she’d be paying for her own food…

“You okay, Marcus?” Estelle bent down and lifted Marcus up.

“How about I get back to you on that?” Aria had said. “How about I get back to you on that?”

IT WASN’T A REJECTION. THAT MEANT… THAT MEANT IT WAS A YES!! Clive had done it! He had… he had won! Big time! He was going to get to go on a date with a gorgeous babe like this?! By the gods he… he had struck lucky! Far far luckier then anyone in this casino could ever have been! This… this was the best thing to have ever happened to him in his entire life!!

“Sure! Sure! That sounds good! I’m looking forward to… oh my god, look out!!”

Clive suddenly dashed forward, and Aria became the next person to be tackled and land roughly on the ground, much to the surprise of everyone else. But unlike Don and Josette, Clive’s charge wasn’t born out of love or excitement, but rather fear. Fear at the giant thing flying through the air and heading their way, the giant thing that almost hit Aria if it wasn’t for Clive’s dramatic save.

Spiraling through the air and landing with a thunderous calamity, embedding itself into the ground at one edge with dust and debris thrown into the air. Estelle, Marcus, Josette, Lisette and Kapi looked in shock and disbelief… at the roulette table that had just narrowly missed the dealer and illusionist.

“What the hell is that?” Estelle rubbed her eyes.

“Are… are you okay?” Clive asked, his face bright red and inches away from Aria.

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Casino: Roulette Table... sort of

The lights around got even dimmer, with one single light shining ever brighter above him… the man.

I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it
I thank you all

But it's been no bed of roses,
No pleasure cruise.
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race
And I ain't gonna lose.

Don’s hands spread out, the man giving as much power and passion as he could to this, the most important moment of his life. The moment of such accomplishment.

(And I need just go on and on, and on, and on)

He brought his hands in low. This was it. The finale!!

We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the world.

We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions!

Don’s singing stopped, and his head held high slowly drooped low.

“Thank you. Thank you very much. You’ve been a great audience.”

He bowed, expecting to hear a symphony of claps and joyous whoops… but instead there were not. It was confusing, but oh well, it didn’t matter. His head lifted itself back up again, a proud smile on his face as he sauntered to the table to pick up his chip winnings, leaning down on the edge with his elbow, smiling towards the dealer and wanting to ask him to trade them up. Until he collapsed through thin air.

The table wasn’t there. His chips weren’t there. Heck, even most of his friends weren’t there. What happened?!

“Wh-wh-where’s my chips?! Bros?!” Don screamed.

“And besides,” Dylan said with a smile at Trixie, “Why don’t we get out of this place and hit one of the ice cream shops?”

"Sounds like a grand idea." Replied a smiling Lucien.

"Let's find Supersis.” Trixie gulped. “And I'd... ice cream would be nice.”

“ICE CREAM!?” Don screamed. “WHO CARES ABOUT ICE CREAM? WHAT- WHAT ABOUT MY WINNINGS? WHAT ABOUT MY MONEY?!”

“Sir,” The roulette dealer’s hand befell Don’s shoulder. “We’re going to have to take the cost of the damages your friend did here out of your winnings.”

“WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!”

Los Paraisos: Pellagio Casino: Entrance

He had shown up at the lobby a couple of hours early, decked out in a pretty fancy ensemble for the unreliable ranger. A crisp white shirt and suit, sans tie… Thunderhawk actually looked pretty suave and sophisticated for once, even if he did still wear that infernal bandana. It was an outfit borne out of need rather then personal pleasure, however, and try as Thunderhawk might to appear cool, calm and collected… he still disliked it. It didn’t suit him at all.

But then… he was trying to make a change, wasn’t he? And that included being here on time. Early, even.

But he’d overdone it and was here too early. None of the others would be here for a couple of hours yet. So it was he decided to head down into the casino and kill some time there playing the games. Maybe even be lucky enough to hear something interesting related to his mission? Not that he would ever be that lucky…

Case in point… a familiar screaming and shouting.

“GET YOUR FUCKING PAWS OFF ME YOU FUCKING FUCKS!” Moira shouted as she was roughly escorted out through the casino’s stairs towards the lobby, straight into Thunderhawk’s path. The man just stopped, and looked down at her. His expression... bewildered and agitated.

“...what did you do.”
Kickass post, Rex! Amy is <3 Also D| @ tablet refreshing and losing your post. I think everyone here knows the pain of having a post be lost halfway through writing D|

Good luck with work, K :)

Writing a post now, guys!

EDIT: And done!
+2 in Defense and +3 in Charm.

It's the Nobodies' official armour wear.

Also, I love the artwork all you guys find for Nowhere and the Nobodies. Love the whimsy and fantasy. :o
Seeing as it's Nowhere though it could legitimately be a back massager with the leather being armour or something. |D
Sad songs? Okay

Just caught up on all the ICs.

Wow, Moira. You want to make Don pay for the table out of his winnings or something?! D8

Fantastic stuff, guys <3 I might wait for Rex to post first if she wants <3
Good mornight everyone! How is everyone? I wish you all a wonderful weekend!!

Avatar funtimes shall begin this week for the first 3 episodes until the 10th(I think) where the next batch of episodes will begin. I was chatting to Danni about this yesterday and she mentioned that this could make the OOC become cluttered, which is true. So I was wondering about possibly making a thread in the Member's Lounge and allowing the greater rping community to join in and watch/discuss it with us? Unless anybody would prefer it be kept just to us. I'm hesitant about possible spoils but I wouldn't mind more people joining in and having fun that way. Opinions?

I still need to catch up on the posts and will do after I walk my dog. ^^ Looking forward to them! 83

Have a great day guys!

^ Dedicated fan 8D

You play Basketball, Kimchi? That's pretty awesome :D I wish (and should) do more sports >u>;

Los Paraidos: Pellagio Casino: Roulette Table

“Selan, Selan! What number should we choose?!"

"Me...?" Selan blinked in surprise at the sudden question. No pressure or anything. "Hum... We should... Split it. 17/20 Black.” The beautiful songstress replied, looking over the board and the way the numbers were split up and distributed. Was that the first number to come into her mind, or perhaps it had some sort of personal connotation? Either way…

“All on 17/20 Black!!” Don bellowed, shoving the massive stack of chips over the board, obscuring every single number and making a terrific mess of the entire thing until the dealer shook his head and pushed the chips to the side and clearing the board for everyone to see, whilst making a mental note of the gentleman with the funny hair’s bet.

"I bet on an even," Moira said somewhat dangerously, her pale eyes still locked on the trio of Don, Selan and Trixie, not wanting to be outdone by the group and for her to turn the tables on them and win her bet whilst they lost… lest she were to turn the table literally. Her own chips were piled onto the ‘Even’ section, were she to win she’d make the amount of her bet back.

Hushed commentary befell Syed and Dylan, who watched over the proceedings with curious bewilderment, not sure what to think or do and being far more protective of their own money then their friends were. Lucien too was laughing, filled with joy at seeing his friends return and having as much fun as they were. Whilst deliberations continued, Xandra arrived with a pleasant wave towards everyone, happy as well that everyone seemed to be in contentment. Although the beautiful blonde who stood sat in front of a slot machine with an almost hypnotic fixation on the machine was a tad bit worrying.

"AHHH I PICK-- I WANT ALL THE BLACK ONES." Trixie started pushing all of her chips forward too, the plastic scattering about in every direction and even into the wheel as well! The dealer shot her a quick scathing glance, before looking back up to Selan and the dopey Lucien, whom were meant to be Trixie’s ‘parents’. Selan sighed, and repeated Trixie’s request herself, making the bet for her. And as the chips were cleared out of the wheel itself, the metal ball and roulette wheel were spun, and the game was on!

“No more bets, please,” The dealer waved his hand over the table, confirming no new adjustments to the board and betting were allowed to be made.

On and on it spun, a continual blur. All eyes transfixed on the wheel. Syed and Dylan continued to talk, with Syed asking Dylan about perhaps trying the slot machines before Moira loudly shushed at him and told him to be ‘fucking quiet’. She, Don and Trixie all leaned closer, and closer to the roulette wheel. It had to be it. It had to be that number. It just-

“Black, 17.”

“WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” Don’s arms were thrust into the air, an unbelievable cheer echoing throughout the whole casino. Don had just made back seventeen times his already considerable bet. He was… he was rich!!! And Trixie, she too hopped up and down in joy! The pair of them were on a winning streak like no other.

But Moira…

“We did it, Selan! We did it!!” Don whooped and hollered, jumping off his stool and running about in a clear space on the flooring, suddenly grabbing Xandra’s metal hand by surprise and twirling her on the spot, making her fall and land effortlessly in his arms in a righteously sweet pose, before lifting her back up and continuing his triumphant dance.

“We did it, Clericsis! We did it!!” Don sauntered over to Amy and her slot machine, leaning down low and giving her a quick peck on the cheek before continuing to spin and sway off, back towards the group.

“One… more… go… One… more… huh?”

Spinning and spinning and spinning. On, and on he spun, just like that glorious roulette wheel. Spinning back to the table. Spinning to-

“Selan we did iiiiiiiiiiit!!!!” Don screamed, picking her up from underneath her arms and lifting her in the air above him, a jubilant smile stretching from ear to ear, tears streaming down his eyes. Now, he had to have enough money to pay Miss Marise back... and enough money to give to Selan too! “We’re rich! We’re rich!!”

After much bewilderment and protestation, Don lowered her back down, to sit on the stool Don had been occupying, before spinning back out into that open space of the casino, coming to a complete stop and posing, his head turned to the side. As if from out of nowhere, either the light above him got brighter and all the others dimmed, and music... soft music started to play...?

Don's eyes flashed open. He kissed his hand and extended it open, high, high into the air as he gazed at the bright lights in the sky.

Victory Theme!!

I've paid my dues
Time after time.
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime.
And bad mistakes ‒
I've made a few.
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I've come through.

(And I need just go on and on, and on, and on)

We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the world...

Moira just silently stared at the table...
