Nabi nodded. "Okay, then I'll do both then." A smile spread across her lips. "I'll go with you on the raid right now, Ty," she turned to Olric, "and then I'll return tomorrow to get started as your apprentice. I don't want to deal with Gabi right now, though, so . . ." She leaned the shovel against the wall. "I'm sure my sister will come by later to pick this up when I don't bring it back. Can you give it to her then, Olric?"

Gabi heaved a sigh and dropped the bag of grain for the chickens down on the ground. Then she wiped sweat from her brow. She was hoping that her sister would be back by now, but it seemed that the inquisitive Nabi had gotten herself distracted once again. Gabi shook her head and planted her hands on her hips. She supposed she was going to have to go look for her. There was work to do, and she wasn't going to be able to get it done until she got that shovel back. Gabi then started to head for the blacksmith's.
"I'm good at all of those things," Nabi was quick to answer Ty's question, probably exaggerating a little, but she was small (even for a goblin) so sneaking around and hiding was easy for her to do. She was about to agree with him that she couldn't let Gabi try to control her, even if she was her sister, and just go with him if she wanted to when Olric came up behind them and spoke. She was shocked that he actually offered her a chance to be an apprentice blacksmith. That sounded almost as exciting as the raid. And it did have the added perk of not being nearly as dangerous. While an older female goblin would have picked up on the fact that the two males probably had some ulterior motives for wanting to spend extra time with her, Nabi was too young and naive. "I . . . I want to do both," she admitted, chewing her nails as she glanced back and forth between the two of them.
Nabi could hardly believe her ears. "R-really? You mean I can actually come?" Of course she wanted to, but the thought of asking to come along had not even entered her mind since she was sure that the notion would be shot down immediately if she brought it up. "Yes, I want to come. Then she thought about her sister. "But, er, what about Gabi? She's expecting me to bring this shovel back. There's no way that she'll let me leave again once I return. She'll know for sure that I'm up to something."
@Aristocles Okay, thanks. I was trying to think of the right word to use there.
Okay. I'll keep that in mind.

Nabi was nearly out of the hut when suddenly another goblin entered, one that she recognized right away. Seeing him brought a smile to her lips. "Oh, hey, Ty," she said as she came to a stop. Her eyes were fixed on the rabbit head in his hand, waiting for him to explain where he had gotten it. She knew that he was a hunter, a job that seemed way more exciting than farming. When he explained where he got the rabbit head and what it was far, her eyes lit up, making her look like a youngling. She supposed she probably shouldn't look so easily impressed, but she couldn't help it. The mention of a raid was even more exciting. The thought of Ty and the other warriors going out to battle was thrilling. "Wow," she said. "That sounds really . . . exciting. And the farming is sooo boring. I honestly can't stand it. I wish I had something else to do."
Nabi's mind, and her eyes, were wandering as Olric continued to hammer away at the shovel. All the various metal-forged items that she saw around the hut prompted her to ponder what exactly they would be used for. Even though deep down she supposed it probably wasn't true, she couldn't help but feel like every other goblin in the tribe had a more interesting job than her. Tending to pigs and chickens or planting crops out in the dirt was far from an exciting way to live. She couldn't understand how Gabi could do it every day without losing her mind. Their mother had worked every day of her life as a farmer too, when she wasn't busy caring for one of the eight litters she had before dying last year in an attack by a rival tribe. When Olric was finished with the shovel and handed it back to her, Nabi got to her feet and then laughed softly at his quip before she looked down at her feet. "Can't wait . . . I'm sure my sister will put me to work with it right away. Well, I guess I'll be going now then. Thanks." She then started towards the exit with the shovel held in both hands. Her pigtails bouncing with each of her steps.
So I want to do a roleplay about a group of people surviving in a fallout shelter after the world has been devastated by nuclear war. Obviously, we could set this in the actual Fallout universe, or just our own story that's similar to that. I'm willing to play both male and female as I prefer to actually play more than one character in a roleplay anyway. I would prefer if you were willing to as well, but if not then that's okay too. I'm looking for someone that is 18+ not because I expect this roleplay to be filled with smut but because it's just more comfortable for me that way. I'm happy to include romance, action, and whatever else you guys want too. And I'm also looking for someone who is active. I prefer a fast-paced roleplay so multiple posts a day would be nice, and they can be short like just a paragraph or two. If anyone is interested or has any questions, then just PM me. Thanks c:
Nabi listened to him explain what the sword was for while her mind filled with images of young male goblins all wielding swords in battle with one another in a test of strength. It was exciting to think about. Much more exciting than the future that Nabi knew awaited her. She then sat down on the floor with her legs crossed and her hands in her lap as she listened to Olric sing. She had heard the song before, but she had never heard Olric sing it before.
Nabi made her way inside when she heard Olric call out to her. She found him hammering away at a sword when she did. Then he asked her about her sister, which prompted Nabi to just shrug her shoulders. "She's annoying as usual. In fact, she's been even more moody than normal lately. I don't know why." And when he mentioned the shovel in her hands, she said, "Oh, sure, take your time with it. I don't care. The sooner that it's ready, the sooner that Gabi is going to make me do some more work with it I'm sure. She never stops." Her eyes were fixed on the sword. "So . . . what's that for?"
