I'm still God.

Bio

If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

Well, it's system and chain management, aka 'our teacher was an idiot and so was the previous exam' class. :D

That is all good to know, I'll be sure to get in touch with him. But, for arguement's sake, let's say Java managed to get into a court in The White lands, who would I chat with for that?

<Snipped quote>

Don't study, studying's for nerds, are you a nerd, nerd?

You'd chat with me, since my character is duke of the Whitelands.

And I am no nerd, but if I want to get all my credits I need to pass these tests, because these are resits. :P
<Snipped quote by Partisan>

That's actually a part I didn't think about, because if the majority of the action is starting in The Whitelands, I would think that becoming a member of a Whitelands court would be best, right? As far as involvement in the story goes, that is. But let's say, for arguement's sake, that he is housed in The Forklands. What would that mean for the character?

That would mean you'd need to have a talk with RPforthatPR and ask him what he has planned for a wealthy aspiring nobleman-esque character. As far as I know there's a plan that Java would fit right into.

But after that it might get lonely. :P

Do it do it

Maybe later, I should be studying right now. :(
<Snipped quote by Partisan>

Well, considering that he is more than twice her age, and she doesn't seem like the type who can be bought or befriended by a quick-mouthed merchant, I would say that at best they would know each other by reputation, and not in a good way XD

Yeah sorry, I was kinda confused what character you posted and given that I was answering before reading it, I realized as soon as I started reading it. :p

Good character though, but he houses in Forklands right?
<Snipped quote by Partisan>

That's true, but I meant that damn the Opening post has chuck full of info so it'd take a bit haha

Oh I can write more. Is that what you want? TELL ME DO YOU WANT MORE?!

Alright, threw up my character sheet, just waiting approval. Also, to pretty much anyone, my character's history is pretty open to editing, if anyone wants to be acquaintances or anything more. We can chit-chat here, or in PM, if the idea strikes your fancy.

I'll take a quick look at it, and I also added Gidja so perhaps they know eachother. IDK.
I know the king isn't in the Whitelands, I just got a little confused on the conflict between the Whitelands and the Iron Hills. Somehow, I got it into my head that they were the ones at conflict over that iron mine. My mistake!

Anyhow, I really like the idea of playing a character who will be universally disliked by most in the Whitelands simply for the murder of their Lord but I don't want to spoil any plans you have for an all-out war between the Whitelands and the Iron Hills!

Maybe if she's simply a bargaining chip used to buy time for Duke Perris of Harrighfield to assemble his forces for a war? Or maybe he would use her to pacify the Whitelands? As in, he would marry her of to Gregar because she would urge Gregar not to go to war with her homelands and Gregar could be influenced by her?

I do have a few other ideas though, if that one doesn't really work so feel free to tell me if that makes no sense whatsoever! :P

Ah, we all have ideas. I have so many I'm working on my next sheet and I still have 2 more planned. :P I sent you a PM.

Interested, will finish up reading the first post, can't right now haha

Hm, yes, my first post is not exactly SFW... I know what you mean. :P
On a serious note good to see we have so many people interested.

In case people find it interesting to know, I added my 3rd character to the character bin.
Lady and Lord is merely titular, the same way you refer to your king as 'your highness' you refer to your duke or earl as 'your lordship' or 'your ladyship' or whatever fancy words you can think of. Really, the titles change as much as the names of those that hold it. :p

And that would make Amber the Duchess of the Forklands, Rossric being her family name (surname.)
Well, that would theoretically work if it weren't for the fact that the king isn't in Whiteland, he's in Volynia.

The hierarchy goes as follows:

1. King Etwine

\/

2. The dukes (Harrighfield, Weade, Rossric, Athos families)

\/

3. The respective nobles under them (earls, too many to count)

\/

4. The nobles that court in the earls' or dukes' courts. (Think knights, ladies, noblemen with no estates)

\/

5. The commoners, peasants etc.

The king rules the entire country of Borhilon, which is divided into the regions of Whitelands, Forklands, Falkhalls and the Iron Hills. He rules from the city of Volynia, which is located on the north side of the Falkhalls, though it is his land.

So while your idea would make sense, it only makes sense if the king was in the Whitelands, which he isn't. The war isn't being fought for the Whitelands purposes either, it is simply an internal war between the King and a Duke, about an iron mine. The king has the right to call other vassals to war, and so does the duke if he has allies within the realm. Since the Whitelands are quite loyal to the king, they answered his call to arms and sent an army to help the king, though the Weade family has no direct quarrel with the Perrighfields.

That said, I suppose it does make sense to reveal that the Perrighfields will be going to war against the Whitelands, as a seperate conflict soon after. The duke is dead, after all.

So in that sense, it would make sense for you to play that girl, but she'd not be fixing the war between king Etwine and lord Perris, but rather the war between duke Perris and duke Gregar, who is currently not duke since he has to be inaugurated still.

Can you still follow? It's quite a mouthful. If you want I can PM you some details on the whole ordeal, and give you a hand with a setting for that character, because I believe it's an idea that will work.
That would probably work.

Anyone that has questions regarding characters, just whip up a character sheet unless you feel like it would need a special setting. In which case PM me. All the questions I've had so far would probably work fine and don't require you asking me. :P
We will need a few more sadly. I don't think it will take long though. Four characters hardly makes a realm - despite that I play two characters.
