What happened?

I was attacked and we fought?
<Snipped quote by Path>

So they came for some free item and left? Hopefully they at least faced some sort of challenge.

They did, and they attempted to test the weapon on me… With my permission.
<Snipped quote by Path>

Why'd they come in the first place?

*shrugs*
I think my husband told them about my place.
<Snipped quote by Path>

*Frowns*
What makes you think that?

They seem to be a very powerful entity, one whom I wish I could follow around to just observe.
*frowns*
They left shortly after arriving and finishing my puzzle.
<Snipped quote by Path>

Huh.
*Turns it over within the sheath in my hand*
But what are the odds of that?

Slim to none. At least you know though!
*thinks*
Not that it will make much of difference since you might not survive the encounter anyways if you are deemed an enemy .

This is a rare item, then.

Very rare, it does have a sister blade that someone has.
*smiles and puts my hands on my hips*
A neat bit of info is that if you happen to go against that person it actually cancels the effects of the sister blade.

Five total?

From what I can gather.
<Snipped quote by Path>

How did they forge it?

It required a specific blacksmith whose abilities, I’ve heard, are that of among the best in Existence. But the forge that is also required is rare in itself as well as I have found in my research that there are only five.

What is its limit, exactly? I don't want to accidentally shatter it in combat.

I haven’t found it’s limit either, at least when I did use it.
<Snipped quote by Path>

Oh, did you? I was surprised it could channel so much magic without failing. Most of my bearings can only handle one or two.

Mythril ore is a tedious mineral to work with, but with the right hands it can be practically unbreakable.
