I want you to escape. I can handle him, but not with you around. I am not a savant, so my connection to magic is not nearly as natural as his. There are distinct differences that I hate.

To the dungeon? that’s a lot of stalling for you. We’re not close to the main entrance.

Gio, I will catch you up, You passed out and I took you to one of the rooms nearby to bring you back to consciousness. This “friend” of ours depraved the whole dungeon of magical energy to easily spot us. This is a savant, Gio. Trying to make understanding of his attacks will not work as they are instinct to him.
