A lot was happening in such a little amount of time, it was surprising how much Johnny had actually been able to absorb. However Johnny himself was able to move by himself and it felt great, a stretch here and another there, in no time at all Johnny felt like a million bucks. His shredded clothes was a bummer but he could mend that with some help. When Emerald reformed Johnny couldn't help the smile that broke out on his face, he was honestly one of his favorites. "Yeah, I'm good enough. I'll need to find a place to park the Van anyway, what better place than at this temple?"

A bit on Adam and those like him, The Diablerie

Adam's particular strain of vampirism is extremely rare because the chances of surviving the traumatic changes are slim, about 80% die violently. Should you survive the change you will find yourself stronger and harder to kill but in return you will be shunned by most around you, save from your brothers and sisters. There is something inherently wrong with you, every creature can feel it on an instinctive level and thus will want no part of you. And so you are forced to flee, hide in the sewers just to survive while you feed on rats or whoever is unlucky enough to pass by because to blood is blood. Hell, even other vampires have a certain taste to them. But here you hide until some lord wants your help because, well you are different. You are strong, you are tough, you are angry, but most important of all is that no one will care if you die... not even yourself.

The Stats
-The Diablerie can feed from anything with blood in them, even other Vampires.
-They are stronger than most Vampires and harder to kill but they suffer from hidious visages and carry an instinctive wrongness that forces them to hide from the public. Usually taking refuge in sewers.
-Monsters aren't born, they are made through abuse and neglect.
-Somewhere in the genetics they have some werewolf in them which manifests as them being "living vampires". Their bodies are warm, their veins are filled, and they can breed. However breeding usually leads to still births, miscarriages, and extreme deformities in the children. It is not encouraged.
-This strain is fairly new, with the oldest known being Adam himself. It is unknown how long they live.

I'm guessing you've never seen Blade. I'll take out all the super vampire bits but what your looking at is a Reaper. The only way you can tell a reaper is a reaper is when it opens its mouth, which is that monstrosity you saw in the picture. Otherwise the only signs are complete baldness, sickly paleness, and a scar like split from lip to the bottom of the throat.

Is there only one type of vampire? Like basic pale skinned "pretty boy/girl" vamps which are the norm or are their more ugly types like freaky bastard?
