I can dig it.
@Monochromatic Rainbow
I wasn't thinking that during the creation but its a very apt description, at least for the "smart" ones.
In the grand scheme of things, being tied up head to toe, staked to the ground, locked in a cage, and muzzled wasn't the worst thing that could have happened to Oryx today. She was still alive and she had bitten three fingers off the squat one who tried to muzzle her, so yeah...could be worse. Granted, the lacerations and sprains she could live without but eh, you roll with the punches.

"That sandy bitch bit off my damn fingers Duwain! Why won't you let me kill it!" screamed the aforementioned squat thing at one could only assume was its superior, a larger squat with almost no facial hair to speak of. Which was odd quite frankly, she'd never seen one without it. Not that she truly minded, it always took forever to digest and tasted like very bad grease.

The alpha was smart, dastardly so. It was his idea to use the chains, real quality type too, to keep her in bondage and from what little he spoke of it was apparent he was saving her for something...lucrative. It had vermin written all over it and Oryx would be much more vocal of her predicament if she wasn't trying to force bile up to her secondary mouth. The chains were iron, but leather would burn in no time. From there she would improvise.

I think I'll just pop up in the city, not a big fan of retcons. On that note would it be fair to assume that this city is a ruin filled with things that would like to kill indiscriminately?
Whelp, I tried to put a little more fantasy into the setting. Plus besides the Ork and Mantis Man everyone is pretty, I think you guys needed some weird to just balance everything out.
Name
Oryx

Race

Age

Appearance

Reason for joining the Outcasts
The Outcasts had food, Oryx could kill things, it was a win/win agreement as far as anyone is concerned

Skills
-Garbage disposal, can and will eat spoiled food, bones, "inedible parts", and some metals
-Battle, Etori'Ka aren't called Desert Butchers for shits and giggles. Oryx fights with the ferocity of an animal with the cunning of a seasoned warrior, playing the type in a lot of situations
-Intimidation, Desert Butchers carry a rough reputation as is, can help or hinder in equal measure
-Patient, can sit for hours waiting for the right moment to strike, when they want. Otherwise they can be pretty twitchy

Motto/Catchphrase
[Inarticulate, Bloodcurdling, Screech]
Hmm, I could get down to this. I'd like to join if you have room.
How about a Vault that was actually made for its advertised purpose? I dunno, there didn't seem to be too many of those.
I'm always down for fallout.
