I wonder if this place would ever run a proper Play By Post with dice rolls and whatnot.

The average life expectancy of RPs here leave something to be desired.

Ah yes, looking up words in Google Translate. Used an actual paperback dictionary back in the day, but still - looks like I'm back in the saddle.

It's not the size of the brain that counts, it's how you wield it

Anything's worth a try as long as nobody gets killed as a result! ^_^

I do not accept that limitation. Anything's worth a try, for science! @___@

But I had good players back then.

Are you saying *rolls up sleeves*
that the prerequisite for you to be evil
*takes shovel*
is good players and we are not good enough?!
*begins digging own grave*
(<_<)

Yes you would?
@PeacelessI bow to your ability to drescribe things. I couldnt have come up with half of that if I wanted to. Thats why I am in free. I am still working on my describtions. Things I've thought out I can describe ok but most of this I am winging depending on the groups decisions.

Thank you :-o To be honest, that description can be shortened to a paragraph. I'm just not comfortable making things up when there's a riddle to be solved. Feels like cheating, see?

@Peaceless

So...the emergency maps are useless, then?

Although, I do still have an idea for them.

I figured it would look like what Katherin posted, with various room markings that make no sense to an outsider. To someone from inside, they just need to know their room number and location to know how to evacuate in case of fire.
Does Chris have two phones, one company and one personal? Otherwise he's either pulled a broken phone out of his pocket. I think the prior, but just checking.

Yes yes, two phones. I figure any respectable military-like company will have personalized communication handed out to employees. Mentioning this so the DM doesn't use it against us :-)
Giive me examples becaus I honestly cant think of a single thing to describe

Err, okay. I am doing some guesswork here based on what you described up to now:

-----------
Hard fluorescent light and gray metallic floors greeted the prisoners-made-agents as they slowly flowed out of the gym on their new mission. A long hallway stretched to one side, its disturbingly low ceiling adding to the already apparent feeling of claustrophobia most of them must've been getting from being in a windowless facility for such a long time. Locked doors on each side of the hallway, a uniformed guard at each one, upheld the appearance of a prison complex, and for some reason, being on the other side of those doors haven't made it much better.

The guard closest to the gym turned his head slowly and leered at the group. He looked as if upholding eye contact would be enough to make him open fire. The other guards weren't paying attention, appearing almost statue-like in the slightly flickering, white light.

As if on purpose, the emergency map on the wall had illigible markings, most likely known only to the facility's inner circle. The group's best bet to get information seemed to be the guards themselves, or trying to open every door and hope there were no repercussions. And if the length of the hallway was any clue as to the facility's actual size, they had alot of work ahead of them.

I don't think I added anything not mentioned before, and there's enough to respond to. I think.
I beg to differ. I'm gonna go interact with some of them, mwahahaha...
Hmmmmm

As a general note, we need more things to respond to. Nobody knows what is around them - and while it is sometimes ok for players to fill in the details of the world to add volume to the story, this is impossible when there's a riddle involved, because basically we can't use anything to reveal the information to our characters.

So yeah, more things to respond to.
The physicist followed into the hideout, still feeling elated. It almost seemed this was his calling - and Edith's room sealed the deal. He deeply breathed in the smell of inorganic dust, burnt electronics and machine oil as his eyes took the room in.

"This is... perfect." He finally said. He approached a crate on the floor and lifted a strange cyllindrical contraption with wires sticking out of it. Halfway out of the crate the thing opened from below and began to spill its electromechanical guts - but Chris somehow caught it all halfway before it scattered on the floor.

"I am pretty sure that with the stuff here, I can recreate a crappy bootleg version of some of the equipment I left in the USF clinic." He said thoughtfully. After picking a corner for himself in the room, he patted his numerous pockets and withdrew a digital thermometer, a flashlight, his mobile phone and a fancy military-issue multitool. Done marking his territory with these tools, He approached the red giant.

"Give me your hand for a moment, I want to test something." He extended an open palm towards Ryan.
Not sure I agree about the whole varied power levels matter, but it's too early to judge. Very well.
