Inb4 Russia arms whichever ships are left in Alaska, and refits them for combat or as blockade-runners, and catches the blockade by surprise. Meanwhile a counter-offensive with bear-mounted Russians retakes the port from land.

Probably, you're not going to do anything, but you're certainly more likely to support China and Japan over Russia simply because they're the enemy of your enemy.
Nah. Japan and China have almost nothing to offer the people of Siberia. They risk too much siding with them, to earn nothing. As So Boerd said, most of the population is Slavic and much more likely to side with their government.

Honestly, Russia can take its sweet time getting soldiers there. Siberia will defend itself. Having troops there only accelerates the deaths of those on the offense.

Russia's putting a lot into a war that it doesn't actually have a whole lot to gain from.Since we like complaining about things being unrealistic, it seems really weird that Russia dedicated the entirety of its forces to helping Prussia form Germany, so much so that it's probably going to default on its debt, is totally blockaded, its navy totally beaten, and is fighting a war on three separate fronts.
I was under the impression that Russia would gain land in Europe and possibly elsewhere. Even then it would be debatable whether the price was worth it, but still.
I don't think I'm going to join, to be honest. I have Exile to manage, and at least two other RPs I'm either in or waiting to be in. I don't want to be in too many.

I like how my officers don't understand how to proper use trains, but they manage to stem off two invasions of Italy along with push into Austria. Italian officers are best officers.
Their effectiveness in battle comes in no small part due to their extensive use of sign language, which the allies have not yet decoded.
