It'd probably be more helpful if you used the 'after Jakurta Flu' timeline and only went over the past twenty years or so ;P I doubt it'll really help her to know your nation's ancient history.

Machines-guns for anti-air purposes could work. Aside from that, I think only bombs would be feasible. The Germans did it in RL. That's a painting of a German airship diving over Warsaw to drop bombs down on the city.

EDIT: I agree with the rule of cool scenario though.

I'm personally in favor of an early 20th Century timeline (1900 - 1914ish). That is what most tech is looking like right now anyway.

If the timeline is clarified once and for all, and we get everyone on the same page, I may considering joining. But I'm still concerned with how some people have giant metal ships, and others don't, ect. Seems really unorganized. It's probably not your fault, but it's a problem I'd rather see fixed before it becomes a clusterfuck.

I have been upset at Sol (and Pasta). You can ask him. Earlier today, I complained about it to the point where he got sick of me and left the chat. If you are noticing him taking a tougher stance now, it's because I convinced him to. Bare in mind though: I'm not convincing him to side with me or anything like that, I am only telling him that, as France, he should be tougher. And he agreed. He agreed he had been way too nice to Germany.

I am directing my "anger" towards Boerd now because 1) I've already spoken with everyone else and 2) Boerd is the root of the problem. We all know Sol is too nice for his own good. So please, stop taking advantage of that. The whole thing with Germany and the rest of you getting free access to the canal is an example of that. There is literally no reason for him to grant you all free access. He did it because he's that nice of a person. But now that he's taking a tougher stance and denying you that, you start demanding shit from him like you have any right over the canal. It's stupid.

You know Sol's nice. He'll help people out. It's up to you to know when you're taking advantage of that to benefit yourself. I mean fuck, have the decency to say "you know what, nah. that's not right." and stop yourself from using him the way you have.

Note: I say 'you' but I mean those who have done it. You should know if you have.

I did specify it. You probably missed it. I have been arguing it for a while now. It has never been about Germany becoming powerful in the RP. If it had been about that, I'd have to have come into the RP knowing I'd get pissed at some point, since Germany's unification is inevitable under almost any scenario. My problem isn't that Germany is powerful, it's how it became so. Tricking France to surrender in OOC, convincing people to sell their whole navies, somehow. All of it done in OOC. And on top of that, as if it's not bad enough, he practically plays as Russia too. To say Thor plays Russia is honestly disingenuous.

I'm referring mostly to Boerd. I may have unintentionally pulled you into that because you're so strongly against criticism of Boerd and Germany that I can't help but assume you're in on it.
