A suggestion to players:

Take the time to claim an OOC post where you can store all your treaties with links to the posts. Then save the link to that list for reference. I imagine most people will cut back on alliances and treaties considering how much trouble they caused in the last 1861, but it may still be helpful to keep a list of all the treaties you've made, for reference. That way we can check our treaties and make sure none of them contradict each other, and make sure that whatever you're planning on doing isn't in violation to any treaty you have signed.

Dedonus did this in the last RP and it was pretty neat.

That said, another thing the GMs may want to do is provide penalties for breaking treaties. Maybe make it so Prestige actually matters (somehow), and whenever someone breaks a treaty they get a Prestige hit dependent on the severity of the violation.

I'm not big on the setting for the RP, but I'll look at it later today and see if I'll join. I'd have to do some research, since I'm not very familiar with kebab affairs.

May I ask why Prussia is a bigger tier than Austria? I would think Austria would be the same tier.

If Ab wants to recycle stats, and Narc wants to switch to Portugal, then it could be done. Outcast made the stats for Portugal, but they're somewhere deep in the IC 'cause Portugal didn't come into the picture until later in the RP. If someone wants to dive into the IC to find the very first time the Portugal stats are posted, then maybe Narc could switch to that. It's probably the one option that isn't total shit. The only other good options are in continents that are empty.

Bavaria probably has more power than Hungary :P At least politically. Like I said, it's not until 1867 that Hungary gets a lot of power as part of the Compromise of 1867 and the formation of Austria-Hungary.

I don't want to say too much in regards to this, 'cause I don't want to seem like I'm trying to keep Narc as Bavaria for my own benefit (since it helps me to have a player as Bavaria, that I can actually work with), but I will say that Bavaria does have potential, and it'll no doubt be fun to play. It's right in the middle of a power struggle, after all.

Belgium is better off, but the potential for fun is not as big as with Bavaria. It's not really very much fun when your country is stable but has nothing to do. Switzerland is prohibited from going to war by its constitution, so all you can really do as Switzerland is domestic. It's potential is very limited.

If Prussia wins the struggle for Germany, without a doubt, then I'm sure everyone will agree Bavaria should become part of the German Empire. At which point Narc could just switch countries.

EDIT: And Hungary does not yet have any real power. Not until 1867. But I'm not sure I'd let anyone play them anyway. It'd weigh me down a bit to have to coordinate everything with someone.
