Jaxon J. Romilly

Jaxon had immediately turned the camera back on when the T-rex appeared, cursing himself for his impatience all the while. Thus he was distracted when the cheers turned into screams, causing him to look up and see the monster barreling towards them with no intention of stopping and the goat nowhere to be seen. Then he was thrown from his feet, landing flat on his bum as the T-rex slammed into the fallen tree. Before he could stand again the tree snapped audibly, the various parts failing and wires snapping. He slid down with the rest of the crowd, the recordings first new bit of footage was filled with screaming and falling bodies. The camera had a strap around his hand, keeping it in place thankfully, though with how tight his grip was it was unlikely the camera would escape his grasp.

Jaxon quickly scrambled to his feet, realizing he'd landed on someone and he needed to get off them. It was a guy around his age, maybe a little younger, he was about to offer his hand to help him up when he realized it was bleeding, he inspected his hand critically, but it seemed to only be a shallow wound, a simple horizontal cut across his hand. Now he had a hand full of camera and a hand that was slippery and achy, neither of which would be helpful to his survival... But they'd get them out right? They would distract the T-rex and lead them through an emergency hatch somewhere, right? He'd seen some employees earlier, were they still here? He tried to look around but all he could see were tourists bunching together tightly and screaming children burying into their parents legs as they cried.

They were being obscenely noisy, it was a wonder the T-rex hadn't already come back to eat them all.
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
Sylvia is very adorbable I will agree.

Eventually Jaxon sighed, clicking off the camera, whatever was taking the T-rex so long was eating through his footage. He couldn't just have hours and hours of a goat standing there! There were millions of videos of the T-rex on the internet by now, his viewers wouldn't be that upset if he missed this one, besides who actually wants to see a giant lizard violently rip a goat into a mess of gore anyway? He decided he'd cut the camera back on if it came out, by the time the camera actually started recording he'd probably have missed the feeding part of the show, which was fine with him, but at least he'd get footage of the thing for a few seconds at least, longer if it decided to hang around. Game plan now in mind, and no longer needing to have a clear unobstructed view of the glass, Jaxon was free to shimmy out of the way and sit against a nearby wall. He thought about just leaving, but he'd already spent so much time waiting, he might as well keep waiting, right?
I've hesitated to go again because I kind of did the second before last post and I don't want to be the only one posting. :P
Awesome. Wonder where everyone else went.

I'm still here, I'll assume the others are too. It just took a while to get off the ground so the pace has been set kind of slow.

Jaxon was in fact not talking for once, as a dominantly gaming channel his content required constant commentary, as such even in videos outside of games he tended to ramble. However, when he started doing that just after getting off the boat he was ambushed by fans and hadn't been able to escape until the teens' parents had finally dragged them all away. After that he resolved to only commentate when he was alone, surrounded by only adults or elderly who were unlikely to have heard of him, or if he met anyone else famous, because that would probably be fun and his viewers would enjoy it. Instead he'd just have to go over recordings of the attractions later and commentate then, it wouldn't be as genuine of commentary as he'd have preferred, but it was better than being mobbed.

He knew he wasn't actually that famous, he wasn't in need of bodyguards or anything like that, and his 'mobs' weren't exactly huge crowds, but here where most of the audience was of the younger generation, the mobs could be anywhere from 10 to 25 individuals or more, especially since he had foolishly announced he'd be coming here for the week and now everyone who watched his videos knew to lookout for him.

It was kind of annoying, he wished he could record properly like he wanted to do, but he would get over it. He'd been in a similar situation when he was in Coventry for Insomnia, there were just such massive crowds it was impossible to be heard without drawing attention. At least at Insomnia more of the bigger name YouTubers had been around to distract fans, here he wasn't sure how many celebrity visitors were in the park.

He was shaken from his musings when his camera flashed red in the corner of the screen. He quickly changed the battery and went back to filming, he didn't want to miss anything after all. He was excited honestly, it was the T-rex, a titan of ages past. He couldn't stop the giddy feeling welling up in his chest at the thought.
Can someone help me out? I can't seem to remember, how long has the park been in the works/operational?

"Set twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Jurassic World takes place on the same fictional island of Isla Nublar, where a fully functioning dinosaur theme park has operated for ten years."

So says the Great and Powerful God; Google.
Why would you resist?
