I might be intersted. But as stated above, depends on the content. I'm also concerned that your determination to provide information is dependent on "interest" (which means virtually nothing in the current state of the guild). I know that's pessimistic, but it's true. It's one thing to want player contribution to the story/mechanics/etc. It's another to release information based on current "interest levels."
I also see that you're new to the guild, which is also disconcerting. Not only that, you propsed this in the Advanced section. As much as it's terrible to suggest judgement is the norm, it is the norm on the internet. We can't know your writing level or your ability as a GM.
Just some things to keep in mind as we progress forward.
Forrest was born in Cherrygrove City. His father, Herbert, wished to transfer to Hoenn in order to work with Prof. Fir since their focuses were similar. His mother, Barbara, was willing to move since she was an instructor and knew there was an opportunity to create a Pokemon Academy in Hoenn. Though he knows about his true birthplace, Forrest still considers himself a native Hoenn.
His childhood was full of silent adventure. He didn’t speak much and he always seemed to be wandering around in the woods around his home. This was also when he met Mrs. Honnings, the Oldale groundskeeper with a grandson, Mitchell, which was Forrest’s age. They would play together every day and the Honnings were the first real family the Johnsons got to know. Mit and Forrest were largely inseparable and Mit seemed to be the only person Forrest would speak with, however sparingly. They would spend entire days away from the town and working through the woods or swimming in the nearby rivers and streams.
There was some conflict between the two when Forrest was taken Johto when he was 8. His parents wished to meet their own immediate families personally instead of over hologram. Mrs. Honnings did all she could to console Mitchell, and Forrest just sulked his way to Slateport and onto the ship. They, unintentionally, remained in Johto for the next two years, where he seemed to develop much stronger communicational skills with being around so much family. One of his cousins, Caleb, seemed to replace Mitchell as Forrest’s social companion. But his time in Johto made him realize his passion for nature.
Forrest was equally upset to leave Johto, but after getting a call from Mrs. Honnings and Mitchell, Forrest was reminded about what he had back in Hoenn. When he returned, he saw his childhood friend had caught his first Pokemon, an Aron he’d found when his Uncle took him to Dewford Town. Mit recounted the adventure into Granite Cave and raved about finding a Pokemon for Forrest so they could train and go on bigger adventures together.
The next day, Forrest found a Pokeball on his mother’s desk in her office. He thought it fate that today he would catch his very own Pokemon. He didn’t even stop to get Mitchell as he was too excited. Going into Route 103, he sat in the tall grass to listen to the dawn’s life. Almost in a trance, he was stirred by a passing Surskit which Bubbled him as if he was a filthy vagabond. Still in his trance, he threw the Pokeball hard and nearly knocked out the Surskit. When it beeped shut, he rose to grasp the Pokeball in his hand and gazed into the new sheen across its orb-like shape.
The casual stroll back into Oldale Town ran across that of Mrs. Honnings as she toiled in the rich earth found in the old settlement. Noticing the Pokeball in Forrest’s hand, she did all she could hold back the excitement which welled up inside her. She merely stated that Mit was getting ready to meet him in Route 102 for their usual play time. Forrest thought how Mit would be so excited to have their first Pokemon battle together.
And Mitchell was, indeed, very excited. He admitted to holding out and battling those he’d passed by that would have eagerly been his first challenge just so they could share this experience with each other.
Forrest just stared at the Aron for a bit, initially confusing Mit. Forrest had never seen one and he was captivated by the way in which the Pokemon shone while also seeming matte. He shook his head and raised his own Pokeball toward his face, wondering how the Surskit would respond to its new trainer. He was surprised with the Surskit was compelled to “clean” the filthy Aron. And she certainly “cleaned the field” with her opponent.
Mit was shocked how Forrest encouraged independence from himself for Surskit. Mit would never dream of having his Pokemon act without his conscious opinion, but it was the start of the both of them developing a very unique manner of training. They didn’t seek out other trainers or farm experience from wild Pokemon, since both agreed that was entirely barbaric (even at such a young age). Instead, they performed exercises and developed strategies with their Pokemon themselves. It wasn’t long until they both caught their second Pokemon, Mit a Poochyena and Forrest a Seedot.
For years, they remained in the Oldale-Littleroot-Petalburg area in order to learn from the Laboratory, Academy and Gym what they could. They picked the heads of their superiors and even aided them in experiments, lessons, and even chores and errands. Forrest found it entirely fascinating, while Mit would frequently grow impatient without further exploration. Forrest proved Mit’s lack of development by defeating Lairon with Surskit’s skillful maneuvers and tactics.
When Forrest’s parents and Mit’s grandmother began to push them to explore the region for themselves, it was then they set out on their grand adventure. At 14, they were much older than most who would set out to collect Gym badges and enter Contests, but they had little trouble obtaining all the badges in a single year. It became standard for Mit to challenge the Leader first and for Forrest to observe. Half the time, Mit would fail to earn the badge. Forrest then learned what it was the Leader was looking for in the Trainer but also how to best defeat their Pokemon. Forrest never fought a Gym Leader more than once to obtain their badge. However, he would reveal to Mit what it took to obtain the badge, and he would make the efforts to perform the necessary skills in order to obtain it.
Each boy wouldn’t catch more than six Pokemon, believing they didn’t need variety and advantage in order to defeat challengers. Their manner of training enabled them to personally discover weaknesses in their skills and work toward compensating for those weaknesses. Furthermore, they never relied on technologies, including the advantages of wielding a Gauntlet. They camped in the woods instead of finding motels or hostels. They hunted and foraged for berries instead of spending their resources to purchase foods. They built up strong constitutions and had high vitalities. It was a lifestyle that not only made them physically strong, fit, and capable, but made them mentally adept, intuitive, and understanding.
During the year after they each obtained their last badge, they camped on the Ever Grande isles, accepting any and all challenges from trainers who spotted them on their way to challenge the Elite Four. Very few actually defeated either of them, and when they were approached by one of the Elite Four (they had noticed the number of challengers entering the caves had decreased significantly), their confidence in challenging the Elite Four themselves increased.
The week before the Championship would begin, they decided to challenge the Elite Four. They promised if they couldn’t defeat them all in one try they would return home and train until the next summer, when the Championship would be held again. Their diligence and hard work was proven to the Elite Four, but not without difficulties along the way. They were commended for their style of battling and their Pokemon’s skills. The Elite Four admitted that the boys had stronger relationships with their Pokemon than even the Elite Four themselves.
Forrest somehow won that Championship while Mitchell was the runner-up. However, their accomplishments didn’t go unnoticed throughout the Pokemon world and they struggled to reach the Quarter-finals the following year. Still, every year, up until this day, do they train to compete in the Championship. However, their occupations as an Instructor and Teacher’s Aide for Forrest and a Sailor and Cartographer for Mitchell took up much of their time and serious training waned significantly. Not only that, Forrest began a family at 18 with a childhood acquaintance that was the child of the Petalburg Gym Leader, Robert Holt's daughter, Jeanne. Mitchell had also married a Jane Sutridge and native of Sinnoh region and the now-mother of two children.

NPCs of Possible Reference:
Mitchell Honnings – Childhood Friend (28)
He never knew his father and his mother died in labor. He was taken in by his grandmother, Henrette Honnings, and grew up as the Groundkeeper’s Grandson. He and Forrest were around each other since Forrest arrived in Oldale since Mrs. Honnings and the Johnsons seemed to become quick friends. Mit is much like Forrest’s counterbalance. Where Forrest is cold and calculating, Mit is warm and impulsive.
Caleb Rowes – Maternal Cousin (27)
Caleb’s relationship with Forrest is much like Mit’s, but tied through family. Consequently, Forrest, Cal, and Mit become some kind of foolishly unstoppable trio when they get together. Cal has the ruggedness of his cousin but the impulsiveness of his friend. He like to challenge both of them as much as possible to anything and everything. As much as he will talk smack to Forrest and Mit, there has never been a time when he abandoned either of them.
Valoria Johnson – Paternal Cousin (22)
Valoria is known for her crassness and vulgarity. Her mother, Emily Delisle, is frequently attempting to censor and correct her daughter to become more “ladylike.” She is a fierce battler and has beaten Forrest as much as lost to him. They often don’t battle, because of this, and it has become some kind of ceremony should they face each other. As harsh as she is, she is equally honest and genuine. Her emotions are on her sleeve and she can be quite difficult to handle at times.
Chesley Johnson – Paternal Cousin (20)
Chesley is one of the youngest among the Johnson-Herris family. Though he is days apart from two other boys, he’s always been closest to Forrest and, by extension, Caleb. Chesley is relatively meek and suffers from low self-esteem, but still finds a way to be cheerful and upbeat. Though he can quickly grow disheartened, he’s forever the optimist and is often seen as naïve. Forrest and Caleb go out of their way to protect and father Chesley, since his father, Harold, died when he was 14. However, there are times when Chesley has rescued the two from unnecessary situations in which they find themselves.
Medicham [Telepathy] Fighting/Psychic 4'00"|60 lbs. This was the last Pokemon Forrest obtained. He found a Meditite under some rubble while two Pokemon Trainers were battling nearby. Flygon and Breloom helped save her and she has a stronger connection with them than the others. Medicham is a surveyor more than anything. Her role is to communicate to her party-mates the current situation at large. Her Psychic and Fighting capabilities aren't proficient enough to cover or cross a field. When she is forced to fight, she takes the defensive and has unbelievable endurance, but her maneuvers are less damaging than the average Medicham.
Banette [Infiltrator] Ghost/Dark 3'05"|23 lbs. Forrest noticed a Shuppet following him while he was ascending Mt. Pyre. It attempted to scare him a couple times, but always seemed to fail. Eventually it got frustrated enough with Forrest's dismissive attitude and instigated a battle. Once she saw how powerful the Trainer's Pokemon were, she couldn't help but see a greater path in life than her current one. It was also the first time someone didn't run away in fear at the sight of her. She is very aggressive and cocky. Once hit a couple times, she will get serious. But she enjoys attempting to frighten others, whether in a battle or not. But, it often comes off as goofy to the more-experienced. Still, she is physically strong and relatively quick. She always loses races with Shiftry, but can match him in power. She also relies on evasion and surprise more than brute strength.
Default Moves: Screech | Night Shade | Shadow Sneak | Will-o-Wisp | Feint Attack | Snatch | Taunt | Double Team | Theif | Astonish | Confuse Ray | Moonlight Battling Moves: Knock Off | Hex | Sucker Punch | Shadow Claw | Ominous Wind | Pursuit Occasional Moves: Phantom Force | Teleport | Spite | Shadow Ball | Payback | Foul Play Sacrificial Moves: Curse | Grudge | Dark Pulse | Destiny Bond
Flygon [Sand Rush] Ground/Dragon 7'02"|247 lbs. With Trapinch's Arena Trap, Forrest and Nuzleaf were trapped in a battle with him. He proved to be more diligent and proud than either Forrest or Nuzleaf. When both wished to end the battle and pleaded with Trapinch to allow them to escape, he only shook his head and urged them to continue. Forrest just threw a Pokeball in response. He will always create a Sandstorm when beginning a battle since he knows to move through it well and attack from any angle where the opponent might be unaware. Outside of a Sandstorm, however, his speed is unremarkable. Like Shiftry and Banette, his forte is physical combat, but he knows how to use special maneuvers when pressed.
Breloom [Effect Spore] Grass/Fighting/Poison 4'04"|107 lbs. While camping in Petalburg Woods, a Shroomish started to rummage through Forrest's stuff. He tried to shoo it away, but it seemed more concerned about stealing than the fact it was stealing from a Pokemon trainer. He sent out Seedot and Surskit to work their Bubble Bide technique. Night after night Forrest would have to deal with this Shroomish until he was fed up enough to catch it. Breloom is the arguably the best, beside Shiftry, with physical offensive strength and, beside Medicham, physical endurance. He's not known to move quickly during battles, but he can counter almost any attack with one of his own. He's as competitive as Banette, but much more personal and reserved about it. When Forrest is asked to help train someone in physical offense or defense, he uses Breloom as an example. Breloom is too proud to perform any absorbing technique, not only because of his poor Special Attack, but because it compromises his endurance, or he thinks it does.
Shiftry [Chlorophyll] Grass/Dark 4'09"|128 lbs. After a trainer had defeated a Seedot, Forrest saw it crying while a group of its friend attempted to heal it. He offered it an Oran Berry, which is hastily ate. After that, the Seedot followed him around everywhere until it ended up in a Pokeball. Shiftry combines his speed and accuracy to perform devastating physical blows. However, he's a glass cannon when it comes to combat. Like Breloom, he despises the idea of using Synthesis, but is much more likely to perform it when a battle begins to turn for the worse. Shiftry is one of Forrest's only Pokemon, other than Masquerain, that will concede before being beaten to a pulp. If he can't win by skill and perseverance, he's not going to martyr himself and become a punching bag.
Field Moves: Harden | Bide | Flail | Growth Default Moves: Fake Out | Feint Attack | Extrasensory | Theif | Fling | Sunny Day | Nasty Plot Standard Moves: Leaf Blade | Payback | Foul Play | Razor Leaf | Seed Bomb | Quick Attack Occasional Moves: Synthesis | Leaf Tornado | Leaf Storm | Extremespeed Sacrificial Moves: Dark Pulse
Masquerain [Swift Swim] Bug/Flying/Water 2'02"|7 lbs. Forrest's mother was teaching a class about catching Pokemon on Route 103. During a lunch break, Forrest wandered into Route 102 without her knowing. He came across a wild Surskit. He snuck up behind it, knowing he didn't have a Pokemon of his own to weaken it, and threw the Pokeball he'd stolen off her desk. Now, they're inseparable. She is the only Pokemon that cares more for the aesthetics of performance than pure effectiveness. She's certainly developed highly effective methods, but if it doesn't look perfect in her eyes, she's quick to throw a fit. If a Pokemon disrupts her, she makes sure to punish them, and often with ten times the force. She takes pride in her beauty and wishes Forrest would perform in more Coordinator Competitions.
Field Moves: Sweet Scent | Gust | Tackle | Bubble Default Moves: Quiver Dance | Whirlwind | Quick Attack | Scary Face | String Shot | Rain Dance | Aqua Ring | Reflect | Light Screen | Agility | Double Team Standard Moves: Bug Buzz | Bubblebeam | Air Cutter | Air Slash | Aerial Ace | Signal Beam | Water Pulse | Aqua Jet Occasional Moves: Hydro Pump | Glare | Hurricane Sacrificial Moves: Water Spout
The destruction of Pokestations across the region is still under investigation. There have been no reports of casualties or injuries during these investigations. Some witnesses claim to have seen a Talonflame, Ampharos, and Rhyperior destroying the Pokestations under no provocation. The purpose of targeting Pokestations is still unknown. It is recommended by the Elite Four and the Gym Leaders that battling be restricted while the Fairfax Corporation assess damages and begin repairs."
"Regional Hoenn Alert: Breaking News! [6/7/3023]
As investigations of the destruction of Pokestations continues, the Sea Mauville Hydro Plant has gone offline. Everything from Route 105 to Dewford Town to Slateport City to Pacifidlog Town is currently out of power. The Fairfax Association is attempting to reroute power to the towns and cities, but those residing in the routes are advised to seek shelter elsewhere during this time.
There were no witnesses to the speculation of a sabotage to the Hydro Plant, but there have been reports of a 'Team Zodiac' that may be behind the Plant's power-down. Investigations toward the Pokestations have now included finding evidence of this 'Team Zodiac.'"
"Regional Hoenn Alert: Breaking Knews! [6/9/3023]
'Team Zodiac will reverse the damage done to the environment and to Pokemon done by the Fairfax Association. There is no need to resist or attempt to stop us for there is nothing to stop the inevitable.'
We are still gathering information of who the hooded figure might be, but it is clear they are part of this 'Team Zodiac.' Regardless, they've seemed to halt all progress made by the Fairfax Association to counteract the destruction of Pokestations and the Sea Mauville Hydro Plant. Battling is to be suspended until further notice as per the suggestion of the Elite Four and Gym Leaders. The safety of the citizens of Hoenn and their Pokemon are of utmost importance during this time."
"Regional Hoenn Alert: Breaking News! [6/12/3023]
All of Hoenn is currently in a state of emergency considering the findings of Team Zodiac. Their leader, going by the name of Pisces, claim the advancements made by the Fairfax Association and technologies as a whole have disturbed the relations between nature, Pokemon, and humans. He and his Team claim to correct this by removing all technological advancements across Hoenn and revert the region to a simpler time.
There have been some small groups around Hoenn that seem to advocate the movement. "They are to be approached with caution," states the Elite Four.
It is suggested by the Elite Four and Gym Leaders to restrict travel, intensive activities, and battling as transportation has been limited and the Fairfax Hospital has been shut down and its generators destroyed.
We will be keeping you all up to date on any information we gather -

Setting: The Hoenn in this RP will be an Alternate Universe to that of the game, anime, and manga.
Natural sources of energy (wind, hydro, compression, heat, etc.) are gathered to power all of Hoenn. Mauville City oversees all collections and distributions of energy but also reports to the Fairfax Association. This allows all of Hoenn to be largely pollution-free.
The culture of this RP’s version of Hoenn will be considered liberal (socially, sexually, morally, whatever.). Most believe technology and nature can work together in harmony and that if technology negatively impacts nature, it does not belong. Consider this the baseline for your character’s involvement/opinion/role in this RP.
There are 18 Gyms, one of each type. The Gyms do not reside in the same places as the game/anime and they do not reside only in towns or cities. All 18 badges are required to challenge the Elite Four, which are stationed on Victory Road. The Pokemon League is where the Championship takes place, which is held in the summer each year. Participants are only required to have "successfully" defeated their region's Elite Four to compete in Hoenn’s Championship.
There is no maximum to the number of Pokemon to which an individual has immediate access. All are stored in one’s Gauntlet or carried on their person (should they not wish to have a gauntlet). There is no PC system and trading is performed by hand.
You may create any type of character you wish, there is no restriction (this includes creating a member of Team Zodiac or a character from/in a different region). Whether they interact with Pokemon is up to you. I only ask you keep in mind that there is intent to interact with the plot.
Rules
- No God-modding, power-playing, etc. etc. - There is no minimum or maximum post length. - Posts should drive the plot forward (either your own arc or the plot of the story in general). - Please be conscious of grammar. Ironically, my reading comprehension is lower than average and good grammar will help things along tremendously. - Criticism, from all parties, should be constructive and respectful. Over PM is always best. - Character Sheets should be PM'd to me before posting in the Character Tab. I do not want to see CSs in the OOC. - This list may change.
Character Sheet Reference
Name: Aliases, nicknames, former names, preferred names, etc. Age: > 18 History: Personality should be built within this. If you cannot determine personality from the history, then you have not developed your character enough. If your character does not have their own goal/dream to realize, then you have not developed your character enough. There is no minimum to the length of this section. Party: Describe, in short, what each Pokemon's general behavior/personality is like. What are their tactics in battle or how does the character utilize the Pokemon in battle? Relations with other party members is also a plus, but not required in this section. Please refer to the Pokemon Mechanics section for further information as to the Movesets.
Pokemon Mechanics
Pokemon can know and use any number of moves. They are not restricted by the game mechanics, canon from the anime or manga or any other forum. However, these will be restricted.
Moves must align with the Pokemon’s type and species (Starmie cannot know Thunderbolt or Gyro Ball, but can know Water Spout and Extrasensory).
TM’s and HM’s don’t exist. Teaching/Tutoring/etc. is enough to teach a Pokemon a new move, but it takes time.
Waterfall/Rock Smash/Cut/etc. are literally field moves. Surf does not create a tidal wave. Fly does not crash into the opponent. Strength does not throw the opponent around. Either other maneuvers should be utilized or new moves can be created for the same in-game effect.
Moves may be combined, but their power/effectiveness does not stack or add onto each other. They meld together to an average between the two.
Pokemon will perform the same move differently. One Butterfree uses Double Team and creates 3 free-moving forms. Another Butterfree uses Double Team and creates 20 mirror images that imitates the real one. As per this example, make sure to make maneuvers scale in ability to a reasonable level. However, this level will differ when certain techniques are trained to become more superior than the average.
Abilities are not limited to the games' discretion. The Ability should match the species/type of the Pokemon and Abilities of Legendary Pokemon are off-limits.
Pokemon have their own strategies and techniques upon which they rely. One Butterfree uses more passive/defensive methods and has a strong Light Screen, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore but has a below-average Bug Buzz, Silver Wind, and Aerial Ace. Another Butterfree can be the opposite, with above-average offense and below-average defense. Keep this in mind when creating your Pokemon.
Battle is real-time. Stats are largely irrelevant (no Pokemon is held to a max or min of any stat). Typing is somewhat irrelevant (any type can learn to withstand any weakness, but this must come at a cost). Of course, where a Pokemon exceeds others, there must be areas where they do not meet the standard. Feel free to min-max as much as you want. There will be no mention of stats in this RP, however.
Winning a battle is not always determined by knocking out the opponent. There are skills and behaviors between Pokemon and trainer which may be judged when considering a victor or deciding whether a badge has been earned. Example: The Gym Leader of Petalburg looks for grace with precision in both the trainer and their Pokemon. Perhaps the challenger's Pokemon are knocked-out, but they are awarded the badge because they showed precise grace. Perhaps the challenger completely overpowered the Gym Leader, but they are not awarded the badge because they did not exhibit precise grace. The expectations of the Gym Leaders may range from utilizing a specific move, utilizing a specific type or species of Pokemon. This may not be consistent with all challengers or the expectations may shift slightly or be thrown out all together as it is completely up to the discretion of the Gym Leader.
Pseudo-legendary Pokemon will be restricted and Legendary Pokemon are off-limits.
Pokemon may have and additional type added to their species. They may also have types omitted. This goes for Pokemon moves, as well.
Notes
- The following two sections are up for player contribution. Anything fleshed out enough will be entered in its appropriate section. - I am open to revising/editing any and all information in this post provided explanations. - The creation of original moves, abilities, etc. is welcome.
Noteable Technologies
Trainer Gauntlet: This light metallic devise wraps around the user's forearm when a Gym Leader or Professor acknowledges you have obtained your first legitimate Pokemon (ultimately up to the individual). The touch screen wraps around the arm and does not glare from the sun and cannot be scratched or smudged. It is fully waterproof and virtually indestructible. It comes in a variety of basic colors. They can materialize stored items, including but not limited to money, berries, Pokeballs, and bicycles. Standard Applications: Pokedex Pokemon Encyclopedia Map/GPS Pokemon Storage/Trading Bank Item Storage
Applications for Purchase: Training System Pokemon Rentals Customized Skins
PokeStations: these have replaced Pokemon Centers and Marts. They connect with the Trainer's Gauntlet to heal Pokemon and make purchases that will be digitally transferred from the station to the Gauntlet. They are unmanned and about the area of a phone booth but half the height and open. They are completely weatherproof.
As per the current situation, these are no longer able to be used. The only hospital in the region is now only a clinic and this is largely the reason why battling has been effectively banned by the Elite Four and Gym Leaders. The fact that the Pokestation are destroyed and offline will play a huge impact in everyone's personal lives and this should be reflected in the IC.
Hoenn Map Notes
This is to be used as a reference for landmarks throughout Hoenn. Most items in this list are up for discussion. Professor Fir's Laboratory Location: Littleroot Town Prof. Fir studies the behaviors of Pokemon and their relationship with humans and the environment. He has been a large part of the technological advancements seen throughout Hoenn and lead several efforts to develop and sustain the renewable energy being used across the region. He and his associates perform fieldwork, whether literally in the field or at sanctioned events, such as Gym Battles and the Pokemon Championship, to observe and analyze the relations between humans and Pokemon. Some show greater interest in foreigners' relations while others keep tabs on the natives' relationships. Prof. Fir, specifically, prefers focusing on the interactions between Pokemon and the environment as well as humans and the environment.
Johnson Academy Location: Oldale Town Barbara Johnson founded this now prestigious institute where trainers from across the region begin their training as well as holding specialized classes for Advanced Trainers where members of the Elite Four and Gym Leaders personally reveal their secrets, expound on their personal philosophies, as well as teach others the finer points of battling, contests, and relationships between Pokemon and Trainer.
Briney Marina Location: Route 104 S Founded by Mr. Briney, his legacy lives on with the marinas made in his name. Briney Marina and Dewford Marina are known for their oceanic explorations beyond Hoenn. They have been the front-runners for discovering ways in which to harness hydro energy without negatively impacting the environment.
Aromatherapy Location: Route 104 N Gabriella McDarby, her sisters, and their mothers and grandmothers have kept this little shop running for more than 100 years. They are the leaders in growing and harvesting berries and know everything there is to know about the medicinal properties of said berries. They have learned how to cross-pollinate which berries for the best results. Now, with the Pokestations rendered useless, they are the go-to for injured Pokemon and humans, next to Lavaridge Medical Centre.
Fairfax Corporation (Institute and Hospital) Location: Rustboro City Jackson Fairfax III is the great-grandson of Jackson Fairfax I, who founded the corporation to find and establish sources of renewable energy and the best ways in which to contain them. Fairfax III founded the Hospital and Institute in the hopes to continue the progress his fore-fathers began. With the city out of power and their land being held hostage by Team Zodiac, their efforts have been halted.
Pokemon Ranger Headquarters Location: Rustboro City More or less the center of law enforcement, the Pokemon Rangers are the peace-keepers and executive branch of Hoenn. Commander Richard Hardy currently runs this establishment and is known for his harsh training regiment for his officers.
Dewford Marina Location: Dewford Town This marina is the sister to Briney Marina on Route 104 S. They are kept up and further developed by the same team of architects and sailors.
Sea Mauville Hydro Plant Location: Sea Mauville (Route 108) Sea Mauville was first created as a marine Biology Center, later recreated in Slateport City. Eventually, with the help of Joseph Fairfax I, they began to develop an efficient manner in which to harness energy from the currents deep below them. They were the leaders of hydro energy before Team Zodiac sabotaged their Plant.
Center for Marine Biology Location: Slateport City The Center for Marine Biology was founded by Nina Ridgeworth when she was reassigned from Sea Mauville itself. Her family has kept this center running and is currently overseen by Crester Goldenrod.
Slateport Marketplace Location: Slateport City Independent vendors from across Hoenn, and a few from beyond, flock to Slateport for the free and open trade marketplace established there before historical records can accurately determine.
Coordination Auditorium Locations: Slateport City, Fallarbor Town, Verdanturf Town, Lilycove City These Auditoriums hold grand festivals and competitions for Coordinators across Hoenn. The Pokemon League opens to Coordinators in the Autumn every 3 years to test the best of the best from across the globe.
New Mauville Location: Route 110 New Mauville was founded by Victor Coley who worked alongside Mr. Fairfax I to develop a manner in which to harness the massive amount of static electricity discovered underground. The levels of energy are as high as ever and special converters are utilized to store energy from Sea Mauville and the Ener-Geo Corporation. All energy in Hoenn is distributed from this location.
Ener-Geo Corporation Location: Mt. Chimney With Mt. Chimney forever seething under the surface. Joseph Fairfax II decided to take advantage of the intense heat rising from the planet's core. His entire life was dedicated to the founding and maintaining of th Ener-Geo Corporation.
Lavaridge Bath & Spa Location: Lavaridge Town Locals swear by the Baths of Lavaridge as a place for rejuvenation and spiritual healing. Most egg-hatching also occurs here to breeders stretching across the oceans.
Lavaridge Medical Centre Location: Lavaridge Town The Pokestations and Fairfax Hospital are shut down. Lavaridge Medical Centre, though centered around Herbology and other holistic medicinal practices, is still not very popular despite the attacks against Hoenn. Still, the clinic is often crowded.
Pokemon Day-Care Location: Route 117 Young trainers visit the Pokemon Day-Care to learn the basics of Pokemon Training. Novice Breeders use the place to learn the practice. Other times, Pokemon are left here when Trainers or Coordinators take long trips or pass away.
Weather Institute Location: Route 119 The Weather Institute monitors the weather conditions throughout Hoenn. They also monitor the levels of energy produced and distributed by Sea Mauville, New Mauville, and the Ener-Geo Corporation.
Lilycove Megamall Location: Lilycove City The seven-story shopping mall draws tourists from all over the world. This is often the first location where most foreigners are brought when entering Hoenn. Anything and everything any Trainer, Coordinator, Gym Leader, Elite Four member, Scientist, and anyone else could ever need.
Hoenn Art Institute Location: Lilycove City From eclectic to tradition and contemporary to abstract, artists spend their lives trying to have at least a single piece of their work to be on display here. Writers, animators, painters, sculptors, musicians, and any other kind of artist usually come here for inspiration, practice, consultation, practice, or simply to browse.
Lilycove Harbor Location: Lilycove City Lilycove Harbor is the immigration center for Hoenn. All those arriving from other regions begin their journey in Hoenn here. Where they go from here is up to the individual.
Pokemon Gym: Grass Location: Petalburg City Leader: Robert Holt
So, I've been thinking about something like this for a bit, now, and I wonder if there's any room here for this.
I've tried to create my own Magic: the Gathering block for New Alara in my free time. It's become a complete lore overhaul around Naya specifically (since that is my favorite color combination). I wanted to create a Roleplay that could either be a Nation RP, where five of us RP certain shards after a designated time after the Conflux, or we RP a character (Planeswalker, perhaps) related to each realm (since they are no longer shards). Since there is supposed to be a war between them, I wanted to RP what that would look like after 100 (?) years.
I've developed a lot of the Naya realm's new hierarchy and some key characters. I'm wondering if anyone else is inerested in doing the same for the other shards and we could tell the story together.
Although, I guess Inm not really looking for "interest" so much as "dedication," since we all know the current epidemic of disappearances throughout the Guild, as of late.
