I almost feel bad. Sometimes things can go by like a blur, other times it just drags on and on. Kind of waiting on @Whimsley myself for other reasons. Guess he must be busy currently, so what can you do?

Well, this got terrifying quickly. Looks like it's time to spring in action. I'll just take the "first" badge.

Randar has been waiting for Mary for quite a while, was it possible she just forgot about the fight? If she did, guess this would be another round he was closer to winning. Although, he was looking forward to the fight. Shaking his head, he had to concentrate. Mary was gonna burst into the room soon, probably with a flashy entrance. He expected A surprise from Mary, not what was about to happen.

That's when he heard it, the unmistakable voice of the small girl. She nearly turned the crowd on him when wanted to help, and she was causing trouble again. "...Please, accept this little present, as a payback for your troubles~" Then came the scream of Dissonances. one, two, no three, more and more they echoed through the arena, how many were there? Those screams were quickly drowned out by the terror of civilians panicking. "This won't happen again, not on my watch. Cothyl, we need to help them, screw the fight with Mary." Acting quickly, he had to do damage control first.

The first step was to protect the civilians, which meant they needed to calm down. His instrument already out, he played slow and peaceful tune. This was meant to calm people down and instill hope that they will be saved. It may have failed last time, but he wouldn't just give up trying. He made sure he was heard as loud as possible as he directed the scared civilians, "Everyone, I'm gonna need you to move quickly away from these things and take shelter until this is handled." Maybe he didn't know all the details, but it was better than standing around getting picked off. With a small hop and some assistance, he leaps up on Cothyl's shoulder. Gun in one hand, holding onto Cothyl for support with the other hand. Piccolo in his pocket for now, he took aim at the closest Dissonance. Now was the time for action, this had to be dealt with as best as he could.

Charging into action, it was a sight to see. A 16 foot tall Spirit with a rather short Song Knight on his shoulder. Randar was counting his shots on the Dissonances, every sixth shot swapping to his piccolo and playing a tune, causing his gun to glow with energy again. Then swapping back to resume shooting. Cothyl would just stomp the ones not near civilians, preferring to pick up and crush the ones too close. Randar was making sure to have a clean hit. While Cothyl was making a mess, not on purpose. Its just natural for his size to break things since he was focused on stopping the Dissonances. It was almost a contrast how careful he was on not hurting the civilians.

Boy, are we cracking open the gender issue so soon? I can agree with Zardoric, a pokedex probably would know the gender of what you are looking at. Personally, I do like knowing the gender. Unless you happen to really know the Pokemon you are looking at or they are just that different. Excluding Nidoran F/M, because they are different Pokemon somehow.

Surprisingly, I'm gonna cast a no for trainers knowing. We can't all be omniscient on every possible thing going on around us.

Little sad to skip my fight, but on a serious note. It is for the best, there has been plenty of time for people to do something. Hoping this RP didn't die, so time to move it along.

From a character perspective, it would be a shame to skip the tournament. OOC, it was a shame how stuck we got on this. Guess some of us just showed up to wait for an opponent and won by default? Or would it end due to said villain's scheme?

So, I think I'm still waiting around for Mary at this point. I know she needs time to rig the place up for explosions.

I see Dewmeadow is doing great. Rowan is hopelessly confused. Mara has forgotten everything to follow the trail of staring Tailows. While Yasha is still hurt. Man, I am good at my job.

Hey Platinum, you could probably go with that. Maybe a post telling us about your run through the woods, still looking for the Tailow. It's kind of comical that you are still looking.

It is pretty quiet, but that's probably because things are settling back into the normal speed things go by. I guess my fight was almost daily posts. Now that that's over, I must go back to the shadows, lurking until the next time I strike on an unsuspecting player.
