The situation was a bizarre one having to follow mages the entire trip. Bob was doing his best to ask them questions, but was stone walled from every answer he was seeking. The stranger thing was how everyone was able to keep calm and collect. Anytime he started something, the felt a blissful peace and instead found himself apologizing for something that he couldn't find was his fault to start with. The mages wielded a powerful magic. Even Rage himself wasn't bellowing out his standard string of curses and tantrums. Granted, it was a better thing that it wasn't trying to squeeze his neck like it wanted last time. This was already going a lot better as they just were forced to keep marching. Bob was never lost being surrounded by his own personal symphony of machines and smoke that surrounded him constantly.

They finally approached a building, the first thing tonotice was the temperature rising far beyond even Bob's standards. He held a furnace in his face constantly, but even this was asking a bit too much. Still, he was used to it pretty quickly,t he only blessing was there was no fire that usually accompanied the intense heat. The only thing of interest was the body in the middle of blue fires. Magic, pheh, always up to something far beyond what Bob was comfortable with. The presence of a naked Goblin also was curious, the sheer amount of oil it was dancing around with. The Goblin was a bit naked, whether it was the lack of clothes or any type of gear. His face constantly washed with intense emotions, was a stark contrast to the mages. Devoid of emotion and refusing even light speech, anything was a better welcome.

The ritual went off without too many things unexpected. The sacrifice of the goblin was not met with anything other than laughter by Bob. The Goblin was a nobody and already lacked anything he wanted. The revival of the Elf was the shocker. His head twisted back on like a doll reassembled. So this was the missing member of the party the Orc decapitated. Even the Elf didn't seem to admit this was magic, just something about Lady Death?

"Well, this was a nice show and all, but now that the Elf is back. What was this freaking mission everyone has been chattering about? Who is Lady Death? Why are you so important you got a group of mages to try and bring you back to life? No one had a clue and I've lost any amount of Patience at this point. I've been shunned by mages, and far too much magic has been thrown in my face. Someone answer any of my questions!"
@KRIEEEG Normally, I try for a decent spacing between posts, but just for you. I'll channel my evil attitude and completely chain post if I have to. Anything to steamroll the slower people. It's time to fire the cannon and get back on the plot rail. At least until we find a new way to get derailed.
Sounds like someone gets the joy of typing it even better now. I've had that problem only a few problems, it ended up completely changing what I was gonna post cause I had to rethink if everything made sense. No, it will never make me rethink if Bob is totally going to back stab a teammate over something petty like gear or just from dislike. Spoiler, he has a flamethrower and freaking lightning, things will get exciting real quick.

The can of Super Repel worked far better than Martin expected, the various Volbeats fleeing as far away as possible. With the two of them finally done with this fiasco, he still had to find where Dawkin was, no doubt somewhere nearby. The eruption of a large strem of fire was already looking to be a good spot to start looking. Nincada followed Martin at his own speed, the few hits still stinging slightly, but nothing too bad. Martin finally caught up to where the fire came from and saw not only Dawkin, but some lady and her Pokemon. Being the new trainer he was still, Martin took the moment to pull out his Pokedex, he knew most bugs, but that was as far as his knowledge covered. With the same mechanical voice filling him in, it sounded like a Delphox.

Martin waved at Dawkin as he approached, "Hey Dawkin, thanks for helping me out back there. Not sure where you found the repel can, but I kind of used it up. I see you took the same route as well." Martin almost forgot the lady was there and turned to face her. "Where are my manners? My name is Martin and this is Nincada, what's your name?" Martin held out his hand, offering a handshake, but making sure not to awkwardly be left hanging if she refused. Nincada had no attention on the lady and was instead staring at Delphox.
@Banana
Now you're talking some actual sense. Why have an unnamed goblin when we could instead have an unnamed pack mule goblin? With the extra person, I could hoard twice as much precious items. I even could have a spare test for all of my new things. In case of emergency, it's close enough to confuse him with me.
Oh shoot, I didn't even realize there was a post cause I usually quick check if anything was recently post instead of actually opening the page and searching for edits.

@Banana That goblin has a problem... I don't see the mountain of equipment on his back. Truly the worst. I don't really care about this unnamed goblin though.

The storm of Bug Pokemon still swirled in the tornado that was surrounding Martin. Off in the distance a smaller Pokemon was tackling everything in its way. Martin looked over and recognized it as an Aron. Did Dawkin show up to help him, or was this a different one? Either way, it was holding an item in its mouth. Grabbing the can from its mouth, he realized this was what could help. A Super Repel! Quickly grabbing the can, Martin brandished it like it was an all powerful weapon, spraying it on him, around him, no amount seemed like overkill in this situation. The smell was indescribably bad. No wonder why this is so effective, a sensitive bug looking for a Sweet Scent would be sorely disappointed by this foul odor. Finally catching a break, and another thanks to being saved by someone else.

Nincada was getting into fights with it's new opponents. He tried his best to get them off of Martin, but there was only so much a small Bug could do to help. Some of the Volbeat were turning their attention to Nincada, who was still ready to fight whatever was against it. Martin gave a pat on the head of Aron and gave a small reply. "You saved my day, did Dawkin send you, pal?" Martin would be approaching his own Pokemon ready to start a fight if they still wanted one. This was doubtful seeing as he just used a can of Super Repel, but you never know what would happen next. The next thing on his mind was finding a place to buy a couple of those just in case he ever found himself in such a predicament again. That, and finding the Pokemon that started all of this.

It wasn't long before it got even worse than expected. Martin was in the eye of the tornado of Bug Pokemon swirling around him. Nincada was ready for a fight but was having a hard time focusing on which Volbeat to attack. The sound of his trainer was overwhelmed by the countless wings buzzing in the air. Martin was trying to call out to Nincada to use Tackle on anything, but wasn't sure if he could be heard. Weighed down and hampered from trying to swat the oversized bugs off of him, Martin was having a hard time keeping them off. The dirt did even less than he hoped, and that wasn't much to start with either. Tucking his head close to his chest and shoving the things off of him, Martin was backing up to a tree, shrub, he couldn't see too well, but knew what to expect.

Martin backed through the forest, trying to feel for the leaves of a shrub to break his fall. Diving into one to try and limit the amount of Volbeats surrounding him. They were large and this should be good enough to slow them down getting to him. Nincada was trying to keep up with his trainer, with the help of them not paying any attention. Martin was trying to think of something to get him out of this, but was drawing a blank. This was that Illumise who started it. These things just want the scent, and he didn't have anything to get rid of it. "Nincada, hit the Volbeats who are going after me with Tackle. Try and focus on those ones." This was a decent plan for now, but he kind of needed some help.
Not sure if at this point I am supposed to wait for @PlatinumSkink to do something or if I'm free to keep posting. As I am currently unsure, I shall wait until I get a reply.

It was a nice hike off the beaten path, just Martin and his Pokemon. It was breathtaking just taking in the scenery. That moment was sidetracked by spotting a Pokemon he was struggling to name, who was intentionally standing in his way. There was a moment of hesitation for Martin as he fumbled for his Pokedex and the familiar voice told him this was an Illumise. The problem was the color didn't quite match up, causing Martin to do a double take of looking at the Pokedex, then at the Pokemon and back again. When he looked back up to decide if he wanted this Pokemon, the Illumise dashed towards him faster than the Volbeats that fought him earlier. As he raised his arms upwards to block an attack at his face, it only landed on his head and took off past him. The first thing to meet his senses was an overwhelmingly sweet smell around him. If he remembered right, didn't the local Volbeats love this smell?

This question was about to answer itself quickly as the leaves in the trees rustled with the many wings in the air. Horror struck Martins face as he was figuring out what was about to happen and how little time he had to prepare. He been training on a few Volbeats earlier, but could he handle so many at once? He looked around to see if anyone was in the area, the many lights of the approaching Volbeats helped light up two faces from earlier, Dawkin and Claire. The options he had were decreasing the longer he was standing there thinking, he had to make up his mind.

The first step was getting rid of the scent, and that meant a hit to his nice clothing. Martin scooped dirt and threw it on himself as he turned to face the threat. This wasn't likely to help, but he didn't exactly have time to do much better. "Nincada, use Harden. This might be a tough fight, so it's better to get ready in advance." Motionless, Nincada stood there, tightening it's body, scanning over the threats. The only cover Nincada could use were the trees and shrubs. If he used his environment well, this might just work. "When they get here, it's just like last time. We can handle this." Martin wasn't completely sure what would happen, but someone might head his way and help him if he stayed put. Running further into the forest was likely a bad idea as he could get lost or find something even worse in there.
