Yeah,I noticed. I updated in the IC already and mentioned that xD
The red-head busily thought and thought of her first steps of socializing with her new soon-to-be friends, repeatedly glancing at her classmate who was blind, noting her first on the list,until someone's quiet whisper rang in her ears;
"You do know that even though she is blind she can still tell when someone is staring at her"
Maiko's heart jolted to see a boy who's expression seemed stern.
A soft whisper of an "Oh!" escaped from her's lips as she turned away, hoping that the girl didn't take acknowledgement of her worrying contacts.
By then,she turned back to the boy who warned her and mouthed out a Thanks with a small bow of her head.
"Has everybody passed their forms? The teacher asked the class. "I will announce your seatmates. Go and sit with them after your names are mentioned." And so,pulling out a form,she started;
"Harumi Yukimura and Alois Francis Jeon.. Mina Ko and Alyssa Summers.. Alexander Gildone and Iris Zero.. Tyler Lance and Maiko Nozomi."
Maiko then started to look around the classroom for her seatmate whom she apparently never knew, "Tyler".
She had to move since another pair has to sit on her empty paired places.
Awh..why away from the window?" She glumly thought to herself with a sigh.
A few minutes already passed and everyone was still settling down, including Maiko who was frantically searching for Tyler in front of the classroom.
Once there were only less people moving around, she laid eyes on a boy siting alone with a lollipop still stuck in his mouth. His auburn hair covering half of his eyes as he nervously turned his head from left to right. Seems like he's also looking for his seatmates.
"Could that be him,perhaps?"
The red-head hesitated for a few seconds, thinking to let Tyler find her instead, but then again, both of them were unknown to each other.
So. It's was now or never.
Clutching tightly onto her backpack, Maiko paced towards the boy and gently patted his shoulder. "Hello,there. You must be Tyler, am I right?" She asked with a small nervous smile.
"You do know that even though she is blind she can still tell when someone is staring at her"

No more than ever,Maiko was relieved to see the principal. Alas,the awkward situation has come to an end....has it?
Keeping his words locked in her mind,she then proceeded to her new classroom alongside her new classmates;Alois and the pink-haired girl.
"Oh. That's right. I don't know her name yet." To this thought,she gave a small frown. ".....But no worries. We'll know each other once we get to class."
Maiko stood in front of the whole class to get a clearer image of the surrounding.
Turning to the area which consisted of the windows,she soon noticed the pink-haired girl seated near to it,just two tables away,Alois just behind the door and another girl who's gaze was fixed in one place. Her expression seemed dull. Must be those First-Day-of-School stomach turns. She thought.
Making her decision,she took her seat next to the window as the ray of sunlight started to slowly dim and set,giving her a calming aura,as if all her stomach turns and piled-up thoughts and expectations has temporarily gone away,giving her a craving for music and making her remember her father back home.How is he doing? She pondered.
Maiko shed a wide smile to the reminding thought of the firework show occurring in just a few hours from now. Man I can't wait!
After her homeroom teacher introduced herself and handed out the forms,Maiko gently placed her headphones and her cellphone,which were connected together,inside her bag,took out her pencil case and then scribbled away.

Once finished,she pushed herself up from her seat and placed her form on the teacher's desk. Passing by the girl who seemed dull,Maiko gave a look of suspicion when seen that she tried to fill up her form in the case of Braille.
No. It wasn't the First-Day-of-School stomach turns. She was blind.
Trying not to cause any trouble,Maiko shifted back to her seat,still having her gaze affixed to her classmate with no sense of sight as pity rose up her spine. This gave her a big urge to just jolt up from her seat and start making good relationships not only with her, but with the rest of her class.
But due to the cause of "reassuring herself", she stayed glued to her seat and waited for the right moment.
