Wow, you guys were busy while I was at the office. Let's take things one at a time.

Regarding Silver Talon employees: Honestly, I can see both sides of the argument here. For a PMC character, I feel either character sheet would be appropriate. However, it should be acknowledged that by virtue of their profession they're putting themselves inside the chain of command.

I am very pleased to accept Shao and Blanc. Having a robotics expert (looking to build the first mecha, eh?) and a battle-hardened veteran on board will be very valuable.

With that said, I believe I will begin work on an IC. KaijuBaragon, once I see your bio and approve it, you're welcome to join. I feel very humbled to have such enthusiastic and creative people in my RP, and I look forward to playing with you all. Hopefully this game will last quite a while, I have a lot of ideas that I hope you'll like!

Personality: Van Eyck has often been accused of being a humorless mission-oriented workaholic, which he will readily admit is true. An impatient man, he demands the best from his colleagues and those under his command, and has been known to be something of a micromanager. However, even his harshest critics note he is not unfair- he would never ask someone to do something he wouldn't be willing to do himself. He greatly appreciates hard work and makes sure to reward success. Despite his outward bluntness, Marius does care deeply about the people around him.

Brief Bio: Marius van Eyck was born in Utrecht, the son of a wealthy banker who had proudly served in the Korean War. His veteran father encouraged him to join the military after college, and van Eyck obeyed, passing the rigorous training needed to become an officer in the Dutch Marines. A rapid reaction force, the Dutch Marines were expected to be on the ground and fighting within 48 hours of being ordered out- anywhere in the world, under any conditions or environment. Finding himself to be well-suited to leadership, Marius van Eyck slowly but surely rose through the ranks throughout two tours in Afghanistan, as well as in UN Peacekeeping missions in Syria and the Central African Republic.

Van Eyck was as horrified as anyone else by the rise of kaiju, particularly the tragedy in Okinawa and the butchering of military pilots in the skies over Iraq. He petitioned his commanders to be seconded to the newly formed UNKRCI, arguing that his combat experience and knowledge of how to quickly deploy troops in a foreign country would make him an invaluable asset to the multinational effort. To his delight, his superiors agreed, with his previous UN experience helping to win approval from the Security Council. Marius van Eyck is fiercely proud to be a field officer for this new group, and hopes to be worthy of his responsibilities.

Other: Van Eyck speaks Dutch, English, and French, as well as a smattering of Pashto and some Arabic he picked up on previous deployments. No brown M&Ms (if you have to do it I should too).

I'm going to wait a little while to see if we pick up some stragglers, as well as giving Bing and FVGT time to finish up their sheets. I've got my notes all written up for our first adventure, though- anyone want to try and guess where we'll be going for the very first White Gloves mission?

Edit: Miller as well, it'll be good to have an ace pilot handy. That addition gave me a good chuckle.
