With a long background in D&D and the like, for me character sheets have always been a basic part of role playing for me since I rolled my first character. I guess your's and my mind work very different when it comes to our characters. I already can see him, I know him, I understand him, and have no problem telling others about him into the minutest detail. The idea with "Being stuck with a personality" is very foreign to me, because of how well I know him. I'm not making him, I'm simply knowing him, and telling others about him. Sure, there is the changing form aspect, but I know that my guy will have what he is most comfortable with, and that's what I would put in the sheet. Also, if I recall, the initial planning part when I first laid down the idea, they do not begin weaving until they themselves are given physical form. So, in my mind, the RP starts after they "become physical". I understand to a point that phrase people use so often around me, but when it comes to my own characters they take on life way before the RP starts. Since I never dictate what they are, I simply feel them, the "Taking a life of their own" phrase is very odd to me. I know I'm different. Most of the people I meet think my mind is just, strange beyond all reason, so I know that other people's minds work different than mine. However it always makes me feel bad in situations like this where my confusion makes me feel like somehow I'm looking down on how other people's minds work. Tahaan is already a living, growing entity in my mind, his feelings are flowing as easily as my own, and through his eyes I can already see what he sees. I'm sorry if this is confusing, I just wanted to give you a full and proper response.
Crios's walk to the Nightmare Guardian's room is slow, impeded by his own mixed thoughts and emotions. Deep inside he knows that even with as comfortable as he is around the creature, the presence of the guardian is causing a fair amount of trouble. 'He doesn't even need to be doing anything. I've seen it in the eyes of all those who work for me. When I leave the room to check on him, when I return. . .Even when none have had any reason to think of him they seem ill at ease. It's like his energy is slowly seeping outwards' The fox man shakes his head, his tail lashing back and forth. 'It's obvious by Rue's near constant proximity that it's can't be that. The little fairy has not changed in the slightest. Even all the little things that look like changes are just things he's never had occasion to express'

Turning the corner that leads to the hallway outside Seishu's room Crios almost pauses, his feet doing a little hesitant half step before he regains his composure and walks on. There, just outside the Nightmare Guardian's room is Harper. 'I guess he made up his mind in the matter. Last night I was not sure if he has any real interest in such things' He mentally shrugs. 'Then again, it has to do with out beloved guardian, I should have known it was a give-in' Reaching into hi sleeves he does a double check over the items he brought before giving Harper a nod. Stepping past the taller male he notices that the rabbit man is a bit stiff. 'Either he's been standing here a while, or he's on edge' he muses, leaving the door open for the long eared fellow.

At the sound of the door opening Seishu lets out a snarl, his pain having doubled since Rue left the room. Behind him Crios practically feels Harper tense up. To try and defuse the situation a bit the foxy doctor uses what little goodwill he's built with the guardian. In a slightly patronizing tone he calls out as he closes in on the bed, “Now now Night, we know better than that. Keep those teeth behind your lips and we'll have you back to your senses in no time.”

Seishu mutters a few choice words, little tongues of energy lashing out around the bed, but Crios ignores them. Carefully moving in close he pulls out the syringe with the pain killer concentrate and plunges it into the ornery creature's arm. The effects of the drug become apparent after only a few seconds, the growl rumbling in his chest dying down, and eventually stopping Near the door Harper remains tense, and the sight of Seishu reaching for the doctor makes him step forward, hand on his weapon. Crios however waves him off and reaches out to the guardian. 'Just as I thought. There is no leakage. He's in complete control when he's awake, and when he sleeps, he gives out an entirely different kind of energy' Crios holds tight to Seishu's hand as the man uses the leverage to sit up against his pillows.

His brows furrow though as he recalls the few times Seishu slept without his own guardian being asleep. In those time Rue would sleep beside him as well, but he reported absolutely no energy at those times. Crios bites his lip, a new and frightening idea coming to his head, however he shakes it off before it has a chance to take root. The feeling of Enasi approaching makes both the minion and the dream relax. Seishu however perks up, a wicked smile on his lips. The fox man looks towards the door, and judging Enasi far enough away to give him a little time, he leans in close to Seishu to address a matter he feels strongly about. Seishu looks to him, raising an eyebrow as the beastman's position brings up many a smart remark in his head. However Crios speaks first. “I have not forgotten what you said about Lord Enasi, and what you plan on making him do. While I understand you two's relationship is unique, I just want you to tell me here and now just what part of you is interested in what part of him.”

Seishu glances at Harper, he confused and almost irritated look on his face letting him know that such things were never discussed with him, and by the doctor's words he's begging discretion in front of the over protective rodent. Looking back to Crios Seishu thinks the inquiry over swiftly, the answer already on the tip of his tongue, however he has an internal fight over whether or not he wants to say it aloud. When the feeling of Enasi's energy comes to the hallway outside Seishu comes to his decision. Reaching out he cups his hand against the back of the fox man’s neck, pulling him close enough to speak directly into his ear. He knows there is no use whispering, given the bunny's natural hearing, however Seishu feels such things should be said as quietly as possible. “In this world the part of me that wants anything from him is the same part that keeps him from just letting me die. The part of him that needs me. In this world, The part of me that needs him acts with all the passion and power it can muster to do what it knows need be done.” His voice lowers even further. “And I'll let you in on a little secret.” Harper's ears are up and stiff, listening so closely not even his whiskers twitch. “In our little world, all of me wants all of him. I think, in that place, I'm in love with him. . .”

Having said it aloud the Nightmare Guardian sticks out his tongue, smacking as if he has a foul taste in his mouth. Crios is frozen in place, even after Seishu releases him and leans back against the pillows. Harper too is beyond stunned. The minion can feel his heart racing, the pounding so loud in his ears. He looks to Harper who gazes back at him. There is a question in his eyes.

-He's lying, right?-

Crios shakes his head ever so slightly. Of all he's learned about the Nightmare Guardian, he is firmly convinced that when it matters, Seishu does not joke, or kid.

-He means it.-

They have just long enough for the words to sink in when the door bursts further open and Rue darts in happily. Seishu opens his arms for a tacklehug, then with a shove he rolls the little fairy tot he end of the bed. He begins chatting about something or another and Seishu chuckles at the story. Meanwhile Crios and Harper both look at Enasi with twin inscrutable expressions on their faces as he walks in.
Have. Fun. I so did not mean for that to be as long as it is, but it just happened :P I hope you enjoy :P
With a loud thump a bodies hits the floor. It lets out a long groan, however having only fallen a few feet the person suffers only a minor discomfort at the hard landing. The figure lay there for several minutes, contemplating all the merits of just letting himself drift into the abyss. 'I could just hand it all over to Sylus' it thinks. 'He's more than capable. He's definitely better at the people thing' The body rocks back and forth a bit until at last it rolls on to his back. Clad in only a set of black silk boxers the man who owns every square inch of the twenty floor building he is currently not only collapsed on the floor of, but contemplating weather or not it's worth all the trouble, lets out a long sigh and stares at the very boring ceiling of the very small room he spent the night in. 'Nah. I couldn't do that to him. Besides, things should be getting better, right?

Groaning again Marius Takashi rolls over to his front before pushing himself up into a kneeling position. The cramped space offers plenty of handholds and with a grunt he pulls his sleep laden body to it's feet and begins getting ready for the day. As he moves, his blood pumping to his depraved brain, the day begins unfolding in front of him. Each plan, idea, and scheduled happening moves faster and faster through his mind until at last he is as clear as crystal, his brain working fast and efficient. It is this function of his mind that has allowed him to not only keep his business running, but to make it better and better without much visible effort.

However he's not perfect. His mind may allow him to be the best, but at the same time it can be his greatest downfall. Sylus helps a lot, but he has his own things to deal with. 'He's irreplaceable in his position, but maybe, just maybe, I'll get what I need and he won't have to worry about me so much' he muses, putting on the finishing touches. His suit is bright red, but not garish. The color seems to set off his hair and skin just right and as he's thought a million times before, he checks himself out in the mirror he and thinks he could live very happily and successfully the life of a model. And like always, it is only for an instant, and with a compulsive roll of his eyes he heads to work.

Meanwhile. . . . .

A loud but pleasant ding rings out through the hallway as the elevator reaches it's intended floor. Even with the doors still closed noises can be heard behind it. It's not loud, just sharp, and steady. Finally the doors slide open to reveal the beings inside. To either side of a figure a good head taller than the others are two haggard looking young people. One is a girl who looks to be the older of the two, he figure well developed, but he ruffled appearance giving the impression of being much younger. He hair is fiery red, wavy, and tumbles down across her shoulder where it is cut strait. The other if a boy, he looks fresh out of collage and despite his businessman attire he looks little more that a boy trying on his father's suit, minus the jacket. His jet black hair is slicked back and the only neat looking thing about him, and he doesn't seem to be able to keep his glasses up. But, given their near frantic and sharp movements it's a wonder either of them still have any clothes on all together.

The man between them could not be more different. His coal black suit has crisp lines and seems to fit him almost as if he was born in it. His head seems to be tilted down by default, his height most likely making him use to having to lower his head to hear people properly. Everything about him screams “No BS” and the look on his face is no different. His posture is strong but not ridged and in one hand is what looks to be a booklet of some sort. As they group steps off the elevator the two to the side seem to be firing information at him at mach speed, to most people it sounds like insentient babbling, but the tall man seems to understand them perfectly. As they walk down the hall he replies in a rather quiet voice, however they seem to hear him just fine.

Files and folders pass through hands pass from hand to hand like a well oiled machine and as they enter the large comfortable waiting room the tall man does not even spare the occupant a single glance.

“Last night's financial report was off by a whole point two percent.” the smaller male chimes.

“Find Folly and have him run it back, it may be another clerical error. If so, Jully, I want you to start looking for some new clerks.” Replies the tall man as he comes around a chair, his hand resting on the back as he addresses his assistants.

“Yes sir, and the meeting of the co-exects has been successfully pushed to two rather than one thirty. They need to know if lunch will still be ordered.” the girl whose name is apparently Jully fires back.

The man in black swings himself gracefully into the chair letting out a sigh. “If they are really that hungry, tell them to bring snacks. Just because they are some of the richest men alive, does not mean we are going to cater to them like the petulant school children they are.” He gives one of his rare humorous smiles to her and adds, “Leave off that last part.” She nods rapidly and scribbles something down on a piece of paper, sliding it into a folder before looking once more to the seated guy. With a slicing motion he signals for them to remain quite and almost like little soldiers they take up positions to the sides and one step back from the man in the chair.

Sylus turns his attention at last to the room's other occupant. He casts a critical eye across him, looking him over much like he looks over a bit of product before deciding to buy it. He raises an eyebrow and motions for him to take a seat across from him, a beautiful looking wooden coffee table between the two chairs. 'He looks well groomed enough, like all the others. Let's just hope he's not as boring as them. They were all like little cookie cutter men with dull eyes' As soon as the other is seated he hens his lips to begin the interview, however a loud bang like wood on wood rings through the hallway and instead a loud sigh finds it's way out of him. 'Just what we need. The boss scaring him off before we can even see if he's worth scaring' He holds up a hand for the interviewee to give him a moment and seconds later the source of the noise comes crashing into the room.

“Sylus! I swear, if you took my giant super ball again, I'm going to wring your neck!” Marius stomps into the room, a light growl in his through as he approaches Sylus. The assistants, use to these little interactions don't move, simply watching it unfold.

Very delicately Sylus stands and turns to the man in red. He towers over the shorter man but Marius doesn't falter. “Have you never heard the one about people who live in glass houses? That thing is a risk not only to your life but to your wallet if you ever manage to throw it hard enough.” His tone of vice is very different from when he was addressing his assistants. Instead of the authoritative but kind tone, his voice now sounds like a parent disciplining their child.

Marius huffs back. “It's not a glass house! It's just one glass wall, and it's tempered! There is no way I'm ever going to damage it you worry wart.” Marius on the other hand sounds very much the angry animal, his lips pulled back into a snarl as he glares up at the taller man.

Sparing Will a glance Sylus lets out a sigh and decides to end the confrontation as quickly as possible. Reaching up he spins his old friend around so he's pointed at the door. “Get the 407s for this afternoon done and I'll have Kesh bring it back to your office, alright? You've put them off for two weeks, and I need them today for the meeting.”

The Japaneses man glares at his half-breed companion over his shoulder for several seconds before giving him an honest smile. Without another word he marches out of the room, not bothering to close the door behind him and with a faint click he returns to his office. Sylus on the other hand turns so that only his assistants can see him and gives them a wide eyed exasperated look. The both smile, suppressing giggles as Sylus makes his way back over to his chair. A faint smile finds it's way to his own lips as he looks upon the potential secretary in front of him. Bringing up the clipboard he glances at it before setting it back against one arm, at the ready. “So, Mr. Barnett, why do you want to work for the Takashi modeling agency?”
Which would mean that your character is set three years after the second trip to the origin world. . . .
As they travels silently through the new world, on a road no older than the youngest tree lining the road, Dorian lets out a long sigh. The cool evening air is refreshing and much of his tension melts away with each passing second. His head turns slightly, sensing something nearby on a parallel path, but the little one's voice draws his attention. He lets out a chuckle. “My order spans the entire settled inch of the new world, but only has hubs in the larger towns. My order also keeps track of each and every vampire incoming and outgoing.” He glances over his shoulder. “No one can hide from us long. My coven back home, in Rome, met with all the other great covens and agreed that we need to be very cautious here. Do out best to build a firm foundation. So, we formed an order to come over here on the first available ship that could accommodate us. I was not one of the first, my reputation among humans a little too well known to just vanish in the night, however I have kept up with the mapping of our expansion, and the nearest hub is one town over.”

Drawing the reins aside a bit as they veer off the road to avoid a fallen branch Dorian grips the newborn's arm to hold him steady. “If your maker was coming here on a ship to join their sire, then the local chapter should have information about their arrival. We are going there to find out what we can, if there is anything to find.” Dorian smiles over his shoulder, looking a but put out. “However we vampires have always been good at keeping secrets, so I have no doubt that there is a chance I may be able to find nothing of the sort. Lately more and more not directly connected to a major coven or the order have been coming over to settle. Tracking them is a bit harder seeing as they do not recognize the authority of the order, or they just want to be left alone. As long as they are discreet we have no problem with either of those options, however it never hurts to have knowledge. As such, even those who wish nothing to do with us are investigated for threat assessment and analysis.” Pulling back on to the road Dorian glances once more at the forest, now receding away a bit.

'Looks like I shall have a little assistance tonight' he muses before continuing his information dump. “So, if those that brought you have any connection to a major coven, or the order, then likely as not we will have a better idea of where to start after visiting the hub.” His and brushes over James's and he adds, “And it may also be good for you to meet more of your own kind.” Reaching back to the reins he looks once more towards the presence and lets out a sigh, but smiles none the less. Over his shoulder he calls, “We are about to be joined. Do not panic, they, while not friendly per se, will not attack us.” As if on cue a loud rustling and cracking sound comes from the forest, movements just inside it's edge becoming clearer and clearer.

A low baying travels outwards as Dorian keeps his attention on the creatures, and with a loud crashing sound they erupt from the underbrush. A pack, at least twenty, and easily almost the size of black bears, the mass of fur and flesh charges in along side Horace. The beast only falters slightly but after a reassuring pat from Dorian, Horace settles back into his steady pace. The elder smiles down at the pack leader, not three paces off from his right leg, and the beast glances back. Now so close it is easy to see their forms, even if they are far too big to fit them. The wolf pack sets up the call once more and Dorian shakes his head at their jovial display. The only unusual thing about these wolves, when looking at them, is their size. Other than that they look exactly like the wolves found in the new world. Dorian has used their services before and as soon as he's sure he's got the leader's attention he calls out, “We will need a place to rest before the sun rises between here and the town down the road.” Without hesitation the leader lets out a series of calls and five of their number takes off ahead of them. In mere seconds they vanish from view.
Umns, I like doing character sheets. They help me a lot. I have a good blank one I made and use, and if you'd like to give it a glance to see if you'd like to use it I can post it here, but if not feel free to use whatever one you prefer. Just know I like a good idea what my partner's character looks like, and I disapprove of using artwork not made specifically for the character in question on moral grounds so I will not be using pics.
I was thinking more along the lines of an open place, away from mortals so that we don't attract too much attention and don't have to temper ourselves. Like a forest, or jungle, or open plain. Somewhere where we have plenty of room to work with, and plenty of elements to interact with.
~A slow smile creeps across the Nightmare Guardian's face as the other pulls his hands away. Some part of him has a good idea of why he pulls back, and his smile turns from supportive to devious.

'I'm glad he's learning to support himself.

It means I can be more myself now. . .'

With that thought in mind he moves slowly to the side, moving just out of the way as Enasi goes into a dive. Determined to keep his promise Seishu follows him down, but out of respect for his act of independence, he follows in wide spirals, several feet away from the falling angelic figure. His clothing ripples and cracks in the breeze, the speed he has to go to keep up while keeping his distance rather fast even by his standards. When at last the sparkler snaps his wings out once more he is several feet bellow Seishu, but still close enough that should he needs help Seishu could get to his side in an instant.

Banking hard the Nightmare Guardian contents himself with weaving back and forth above the other, burning off some of the speed he gained during the spiral.

'He seems determined to be alone right now.

It feels odd.

In this place, it seems like we should always be together'

A low tingle rushes through him, making him shiver. He doesn't know what will happen should they get too far apart in this place, and he doesn't want to find out. His devious side takes that feeling and decides to do a little fooling around. Turning hard he angles himself a little closer to Enasi. After a couple passes he's close enough for his plan, and on a final turn he dips his wing down low enough to run across the backs of the Dream Guardian's wings from one end to the other, sliding across his back in the process. Taking an even sharper turn he slides across again, this time hitting that sensitive spot he's found on previous explorations of his counterpart. With one last turn he moves in even closer and with practiced ease he comes to glide directly over Enasi, his wings holding steady as to not interrupt the other's flight.

'Time for some long awaited teasing'

Drifting in as close as he can his arms snake out to wrap around Enasi's waist. His cool hands slip beneath the other's top, the wind blowing his clothes about making the motion seem natural. His years of practice makes his movements smooth and easy, and as he smooths his fingers over the bare flesh of the other guardian's lower stomach a rather wicked smirk crosses his face at the thought of how Enasi may react. However he loses the chance to find out as Enasi slips from his grip, falling far, far away from him. Clouds seem to come rushing up, blocking his view. Despite the frightening appearance of the action Seishu feels no fear and simply lets out a sigh that follows him into the waking world.~

A discontented groan finds it's way out of the guardian as all the weight and pain of the world comes rushing to meet him. At his side the little dream minion falls out of bed with an odd “Waugh!” noise, followed by a thump. Without having to be told Rue immediately picks himself up and rushes off to find Doctor Crios.

Seishu on the other hand continues groaning and moaning, his body stiff and achy from his injuries stiffening in his sleep. 'I swear, I am going to just eat him when he gets back. Maybe that will make me feel better. . .Speaking of eating. . .' His groaning ceases for a time as he lets his mind drift about of various things he would love to try on a certain special someone sometime. 'Not that outside the dream thing I really feel like doing these things, however I can see them being quite pleasant in our little shared thing. . . .' He hums faintly, his pain making further thinking impossible.
