Pleased that his guest is smiling too Viltez turns his gaze forward as he listens to the man talk about nature. He's a little confused about the comment on who might be listening, but he shrugs it off as a cultural thing he'll want to ask about later. For now however he smile smiles and nos, watching the clothes flutter in the breeze. In the distance signs of the village coming to life greet his ears and eyes as columns of smoke begin to rise from houses here and there. 'It's time for mothers to be waking, preparing meals for their little ones and husbands as they continue to be lost in their dream lands. Some fathers will be rising too, getting ready for a hard day at work, the toil of their backs earning them what they need to keep their families happy and healthy'

His gaze turns to the man next to him, his mind trying to make a good guess about his age. 'I wonder if he's got family somewhere. Or if he will have one some day. I mean, he is beautiful, even just in a shirt without his adornments. He could get himself a good wife some day. The children taking after either of them. Maybe one day setting of to foreign lands to explore like their father' His eyes linger on the man far too long, until at last he realizes he staring and coughs lightly, looking away. Pushing off he checks the clothing one last time, smiling as he finds them now dry. 'Looks like the breeze got them done quickly. I'm glad. I need to get started on breakfast and then I've got some odd jobs in town today' He glances at his guest before scooping up his basket.

'I wonder what he'll be up to today. I don't mind him if he follows me around, even if that will be boring for him. But I don't suppose I can assume that. Perhaps I should tell him about some good places to check out around town. Yeah, I'll do that. . .' Carefully pulling the clothes off the line he resolves to also invite him along on his daily rounds. 'It's only polite to give him the option, after all' Once all the clothing is in the basket he smiles at Aryx. “Could you get the door for me? It's harder to get the door open like this.” He nods towards the basket in his arms happily while walking towards his front door.
After staring at the report for a good en minutes he finally remembers what he was trying to get at. In a flash his fingers are flying over the keyboard and slowly the rest of it all falls into place. 'That's right, the board at Harumun's were having trouble with policy, so I needed to write a letter of clarification and document the world wide mat. . .' His thoughts devolve into a mess only really understood by the boss himself and he's on to the next bit of work before he knows it. A third program pops up, having been put on a timer the day before as a reminding of something with a deadline. However, being in the middle of something his quickly moves his cursor up to close the window. At that precise moment though the gurgling of the coffeemaker catches his attention and he freezes. 'Right, tea. Need some tea. . .' Shaking the fuzz from his head he stands up and lets out a sigh.

Before moving over to make his tea however the president looks towards the window leading to the world outside his little room. Honestly, the room may not be small in comparison to most, but to him it can be a bit stiffing at times. 'I really hope this guy works out. I want to get back on the road. I can do all this crap on the move. Our numbers are threatening to fluctuate if I don't get back out there soon!' His focus shifts, looking instead at his reflection. The lush plum purple suit today is accompanied by a black undershirt and dark red cravat. The chain hanging across the cravat has a very small bell inside that chimes pleasantly when he moves, much like the ones inside Chinese stress balls. Humming lightly he turns, his focus back in getting tea.

The smell of the tea as he opens the little tin makes Marius take a long inhale, letting the scent de-fog him mind. 'Love this flavor' Just as he's almost done preparing his tea he hears a soft knock on the door. Not really use to the sound, the only ones who come to this floor having blanket permission to enter without doing so since he will not notice it most of the time, he simply stares at the door at first. Then it opens slowly. The place he's standing is less than ten feet from the door. Along the same wall in fact, so Marius can not help but smile as the young man looks around the room a bit before spotting him. 'Right, new secretary. Keep forgetting that' Stirring his tea with one hand he slips the other in his pocket to watch the man look around the room, his smile widening when at last he spots him, his eyes going wide. 'He seems to have some interest in my window. I wonder if he's afraid of heights. . .' Marius does not remember the man at all, having been to focused on getting his ball back.

The ball is important to him, helping him relieve stress without having to leave his office. It wasn't that he didn't think Sylus would give it back the other day, he was upset because a report had been so messed up that it was unreadable when it was delivered to him, and Marius needed to blow off some steam before he simply curled up in his room for a nap to sleep it off. 'Obviously it didn't go through Sylus's hands other wise I would never have had to see such a mess with my company's records. . .' He shrugs the memory off however when the young man seems to get bearings at last and introduce himself. “No problem. Come in.” he murmurs, scooping up his tea and heading back to his desk. As soon as he's seated he motions in front of his desk indicating the man should come closer.

Taking a seat he waits until Will is in place before his smile returns once again. “Welcome, I don't know yet whether or not I'm glad you've joined the company, but I hope in time I will be. I reserve such judgments until they are fair to make.” Dropping his eyes to the report he was in the middle of his eyebrows raises as another notification blinks at the top of his screen. “Is that today? Oh good, a perfect firs job. . .” he mutters to himself before standing. “This can be a very fast paced job here on the top floor, but my expectations are simple. Do the job. Do it right. Do it well. We'll have more time to talk later tonight after my meeting on. . .I for get, but I know I have a meeting to attend.” Coming around his desk he sits slightly on the front of it, his feet still on the ground. “Sylus will send you my schedule, make sure to come get me for it, I've got a lot to get done today and I doubt I'll remember to set my alarm.” He points over his shoulder with his thumb at his laptop.

Snatching up a random folder out of his messy stacks of them he pops it open and looks at the top sheet. “Today is the day for all the section heads to send me their reports, problems, and requests.” He flips the folder inside out so the top sheet is visible, the spine folded the opposite way it normally is. “Your morning job today is easy, but it'll take a while. The stacks are going to be brought up here to you and you need to separate them out by priority number.” He holds the folder out so Will can see the top sheet. His finger slides of to the top right corner where an upside down triangle holds a handwritten number four in red ink. “They just throw all the reports together as the week goes by, so the priority order is all jumbled up. For now, I just need you to sort them out and once you are done, bring them to me in priority order, one, to five. Eventually you will be reading these yourself, re-numbering them should you feel they were improperly prioritized. Don't worry, by then you'll know more about what your doing.” Flipping the folder around, the sleeves falling closed with a light tap, he smiles once more at his new assistant. “Have fun Will, and again, I'll be able to answer your questions after that meeting. . .” His voice trails off as once again he tries to remember what the meeting is about, but with a shrug he returns to his seat, shrinking the window he was going to close before to work on it later.
The demon chuckles lightly at the memory of the boy trying to say his full name. 'It is a little long for someone not use to long names. That, and it sounds nothing like a name from his language' He looks to the ceiling for a while, watching the child out of the corner of his eye, however something interesting catches his eye, bringing his gaze back down. Pushing off the wall he wanders over to a pile of papers laying haphazardly in one corner on the floor. 'Children's drawing, but why. . .?' His eyebrow raises as he makes out the top drawing. Kneeling down he begins to paw slowly through them, his gaze sharpening at each one he recognizes. 'There are demons and monsters. He even has a few night creatures in here. He must. . . Really have keen eyes' He glances over tot he boy wriggling into some pants.

'Or be descended from an order of some kind. I know a lot of them have it in their genetics. . .' Letting out a sigh he stands back up, pushing the papers back into a pile with his foot before walking back to the doorway. A few moments later Dan is back at his side, little hands tugging at him to go. He looks down at the small creature, his hands covered cutely in his sleeves like a little ghost boy. 'No turning back. He's attached now' “A moment Daniel, I need to get presentable. Curling his fingers around the boy's his body arches back slightly and after a tense stretch his body relaxes. He now looks very much human, a casual white button up and black slacks taking the place of his suit from earlier. Kneeling down he ruffles the boy's hair with his free hand. “Not everyone is as smart as you Daniel. They see me like that and they're scared, but you know better. However, one must cater to the masses some times. . .” He knows the boy may not understand all he's saying, but it is enough that he believes that the demon has to look like a human for now.

“Besides,” he adds, “you see guys like me all the time, but they don't always stay looking like that, right?” No matter the response Vaan picks the child up, propping him no one hip like he's seen mothers do before, and makes his way downstairs. Shoes appear on his own feet, sandals actually, and after carefully making sure the boy doesn't get a glimpse at the living room he stops at the front door to crouch down and pick up a pair of sneakers for the kid. Not wanting to waste any more time, risking getting caught with every moment he stays there, he simply hands the sneakers to the boy and tells him to hold on to them tight. “It's not far to my house, but it's plenty far enough away that you won't have to worry about being attacked. Once we get near home you can put you shoes on.” he murmurs, not looking at Daniel. Instead his head swivels around like a radar dish, listening carefully. 'The clean-up crew is here. They'll eat the boy too if they make the connection of their blood'

As if on cue a large rat erupts from the sewers and leaps at the child in his arms. Both arms tight around the lad he spins, landing a kick hard to the beast's side sending it flying. Hushing the boy soothingly he charges down the street to get as far as he can before more show up. “It's alright Daniel, they won't come after us. They only came for a job, they just got a little hungry, that's all.” He's not really sure how to judge how upset a child is when they aren't screaming their heads off so he simply hold him close and does his best to explain that he's still safe.
Good luck! I hope you make something you will love to work wif!
He's a little two faced, but that's not the right way to put it. . . .He's always seeming happy and out there, his fascination with the things he and his partner makes amazing him beyond anything, but he will also destroy it just to see what happens. He will crush a small animal just to see what happens, and he doesn't feel back about it. In fact it tends to amuse him to kill things in different ways. He's not evil, just curious to a fault. If he's never seen it before, he wants to, and unless he's stopped by his partner, he'll do it. Since morals are not a thing yet he sees absolutely nothing wrong with what he does, so if you wanna do it this way, your being may have to be his moral compass, if we actually want them to have one. He's also very clingy and dependent, often times hanging off of his partner for no other reason then he wants to be close to it.
Seishu watched the room come together slowly, the air still thick with emotion, but as each of them calms he is able to siphon off a lot of the negativity. 'That's it. F he starts asking questions we'll have a hell of a time explaining this. Speaking of explaining, I'ma hafta come up with an answer should he ask about. . . that. . . .' He lay quietly, knowing that those around him are weeping in the inside a bit. 'It's not for me though. I know when negative emotions are aimed at me. They're worrying about him. But I guess that's fair. When I was talking about myself, they could not help but correlate what I'm going through, what my life has been like, to the only other being in the universe like me'

He sighs softly, rubbing Rue's back. He knows that a little of the sadness was for him, most of it from the little fairy, but his usual dismissive manner is firmly in place now and his sense of fairness is slowly deteriorating. His eyes wander over to the bunny, his back still turned. 'He's the closest to Enasi, right? He second? Like Kaila is to me. . .But Kaila knows there are things I don't talk about and even if I told him all he would do is smother my with babies, showing me all the affection I get day in and day out from the little guys, and making me remember the family I hold so dear. It may not be the romantic love I crave, but it would make me feel better' Seishu begins humming his realm's lullaby, the sound seeming to echo around the room, the vaulted ceilings making it reverberate pleasantly against all their ears.

The song ends just as he feels Enasi nearing the door and softly he mutters, “Game faces guys.” before he himself settles into a comfy smile. 'Not that he's in the mood to look at me. Wow, he really is in a mix over this, but what is that with him?' Hi eyebrow raises as a sugar sweet guy bounces in, a plate of food balanced in each hand with a third on his head. 'Ah, Cho the cook I'm guessing' Each energy seems to lighten as they get handed their food and as carefully as he can Seishu shuffles into a partially upright position to wait for his meal. 'It's been forever, I'm starved. I hope he went light on the goopy white stuff for mine' He can not help but over hear the whispering from Cho to the Doc, but he shows no real reaction. Enasi walks over and hands him his plate, the quiet confirming several more things for him and with a hum he settles the plate on to his lap.

Keeping Cho in the corner of his eyes Seishu smiles and looks to Rue. “Last night was fun!” He can see the three twitch at the sentence, Harper and Crios only pausing a moment before continuing eating their breakfasts. Seishu watches Cho, noting that his keen eyes spotted the movements, or lack there-of. 'He may just seem like a common sugarball cook, but he's perceptive' Rue on the other hand stops eating all together. His acting isn't as good as the others and as he looks up at Seishu the guardian has to shake his head ever so slightly to calm him down. “We got to play hide and seek in a beautiful forest with huge trees!” The little minion's wings flutter ever so slightly at the thought, so using his best storytelling voice he continues. “They were so tall, and the branches so thick, you couldn’t even see the sky. So for light, we had these beautiful little fairly lights dancing around us like a troupe of aerial tumblers!”

Rue continues eating, the visual making him smile a truly honest smile now. Harper calls out, “So, like a bunch of Rue's smarter cousins?”

Crios chuckles as Rue's cheeks puff out angrily, but a few seconds later he joins in laughing with the fox man. Harper chuckles a few times, watching as Cho observes the interplay like a hawk. “Yes, exactly like that! How'd you guess?” The laughing redoubles even as Rue swats at his uninjured shoulder. “I wont he first round, then Enasi the second, then the last round was a tie breaker, so we were both seekers.” Puffing up he finishes triumphantly, “And of course, master hunter that I am, I won!” Rue applauds happily, and Harper even pats his arms a few times, his other hand holding up his plate.

Crios however rolls his eyes. “Master hunter indeed, he who will need several weeks of bed rest and can't even walk strait. Yes, mighty hunter.” Seishu lets loose a growl, making the cook jump as his eyes turn in Crios's, and incidentally his, direction. Crios however snaps his tail and raises an eyebrow.

The growl dissipates and Seishu sticks out his tongue. “Once I’m well I'ma get me some beagles and have myself a little fox hunt.” His tone is dark, and Cho looks a little on edge, but as Crios only laughs in response the cook starts to get the idea.

Before he can feel good about his discovering though Harper asks, “So, how's he doing Night. Up to your standards?”

Seishu, who'd been taking bites whenever he can chuckles and fixes Cho with a predatory glare. He jumps but stands his ground. Unable to think of what else to do he says rather shakily, “I'm the best cook in he kingdom, how could I not be up to snuff?”

Seishu raises an eyebrow, Rue falling still to better watch the Nightmare Guardian's response. He is quiet for a short time, but after a few seconds a now familiar smile crawls on to his lips, and those that know him best go back to eating. “No ego on Chocolate here, ne?” Rue chuckles lightly, shaking his head, and Seishu goes back to eating too. The cook had passed the test, he just didn't know it yet.
Seishu rustle up some false bravado. “What, me? Give up? Never!” His voice trails off however, sounding very pathetic even to his own ears. Harper's stance changes slightly, his arms slowly falling to his sides. His ears tilt this way and that, as if he can't believe what he heard. Seeing the motion Seishu lets out a frustrated teenager “Argh!” and ignoring his wound rolls over on to his side, pulling the covers up over his head. To motion causes Rue to fall off the bed, but he catches himself before he hits the ground. Hopping immediately back on to the bed he gently begins rocking the cloth mound that is Seishu.

“Ne, Mister Seishu, you shouldn't do that. Remember Doctor Crios said you should stay on you back for now, ne, Mister Seishu!” Normally such whining would have Seishu shushing the minion at the very least, but instead he remains quietly under the blankets. Harper's eyes narrow in suspicion but he goes back to crossing his arms, waiting for something to happen. He's not as close as the others, and while playful banter is well within his repertoire for the guardian, comforting is well beyond his reach.

Crios is determined to get to the bottom of it now, no matter the consequences. Not wanting to disturb his lord any further, the distress rolling off of him making him uncomfortable to say the least, he instead heads back to Seishu's room. Once again while still in the hall, the repetitive sounds of Rue's voice greets his ears and with a sigh he pushes the door open to find Rue bouncing on the bed next to a lump he can only assume is Seishu hiding to avoid talking. He doesn't even spare Harper a glace, who watches with a raised eyebrow as the fox walks over to the bed and with a shooing motion gets Rue to stop bouncing. He instead hovers over the blankets, curious what's about to happen.

With a hard yank Crios removes all the coverings from atop the guardian, the fabric flying past the end of the bed to land on the floor. Moving quickly but still with a doctors kindness and grace he lays Seishu back on to his back and give him a stern look. “You will listen to me when I tell you how to get better. If you don't, I'm not going to keep trying, got it?” Seishu looks at him and for a moment it looks as if he's going to say 'Fine, then let me die, that should make everyone happier around here, right?' but instead he just growls and turns his head away. The growl fades quickly and he nods, his face becoming blank once more.

Harper watches curiously, piping up when the guardian seems to die on the spot, prompting Rue to charge back in with huggles. “Something's wrong, but he won't talk about it. I tried teasing him earlier, and he just crawled into his cocoon, like you saw.” Crios looks at the general, letting out a long sigh.

“And I was just in Lord Enasi's room.” Seishu twitches at the name, but otherwise doesn't respond. Rue notices the twitch and sits up to listen better. Crios keeps his eyes on Harper however. “He had me give him an examination. He thought something might be wrong with him. After the check-up, he seemed almost more upset that nothing was wrong.” He then turns his gaze to Seishu.

Without prompting, he begins talking softly. The entire group listens silently. “I said I wouldn't, so I'm not going to. That doesn't make it go away you know. Even if dream me knows it's for the best, it doesn't stop the feeling. It doesn't stop him from trying everything but. In his words, “I want it.” But then again, who doesn't? Even serial killers want it. I've seen it, I know. Our race is ruled on emotions, and denying this is like denying our very being. But, I know I have to, so I will keep denying, and I will keep him in check. However, can you even begin to imagine? Going you whole life without, never dreaming of it happening, and then, there, it happens, or almost. The moment it becomes a glimmer it's crushed by the simple facts of your existence. There is no chance, but imagine a part of you won't let go. It won't crush that little spark of hope, making your inside tear at each other like a crocodile in a death roll, rending it apart but still leaving little bits whole to go on though all there is is little pieces left. . . .”

As he speaks he doesn't shed a single tear, but in his voice the others can hear the torrent of them falling in his soul. Rue does his crying for him, his sobs quiet but his tears flowing freely. He clings to the sheets, knowing that touching Seishu right now is not a good idea. Crios on the other hand had crouched down in the middle of the guardian's avalanche of emotions expressed in words, his arms coming to wrap around his legs, his face buried in his knees. It's impossible to see if he's crying, but his shaking shoulders show how much he's hurting right now.

Harper lasted the longest, turning away only at the very end when Seishu spoke of 'hope'. With his back to the guardian the only sign that he was affected is slightly heavier breathing. Seishu seems to recover a little bit, the torrent of sadness helping him out a bit, however the taint of sympathy makes the meal a bit sour. But, beggars can't be choosers as they say. With a soft sigh he reaches out to stroke Rue's cheek. “As for you lord, don't worry. He's prolly just worried about how the kiss made him feel, and is a bit shaken up wondering why I was crying at the end.” The small meal is enough to push his dream self back into his place, his emotions once more disconnecting and allowing him to breath easier.

“You kissed him? That's what made you sad?” Rue chokes out.

Seishu shakes his head. “Nah, Little Bite, I was crying because I realized, as he let me do it, that there was a chance he may feel the same way too some day and that means if I'm going to keep my promise to you guys, I won't be able to get that close to him again in that world. It hurts too much, and I can't risk him falling for me. . .” Rue's tears start flowing strong again but Seishu pulls him in close. He can hear muffled mutters of, “Cruel” and “Not fair” coming from his chest but he just chuckles lightly. His head tilts slightly a couple seconds later. “Heads up, time to dry off. I can feel him nearby. He just came into range, so you have a little while, but I would hurry none the less.” He runs his fingers soothingly through the little fairy’s hair. “If he comes in here and you're all like this, there'll be no stopping him from asking questions, and I don't want you guys being forced into telling him.” Rue nods against him, wiping tears and snot on to his bare shoulder.
Tucking the towel beneath his head Kuro just watches for a while, his eyes trained on the young one. 'He really looks sad about it. Almost as if he feels sorry for my being heartless. . . .Nah, it's more probably about sis and her struggles. Thinking about someone having to suffer for something so basic for an angel would be sad for them I guess' Despite all the flinching from the touches Kuro lets out a sigh at the soothing feeling of his wounds closing. 'So nice to not have so much of my blood racing out of me all at once, thanks again Little Mouse. . . .Huh, he hasn't mentioned me calling him that. . .I wonder if he likes the name. Nah, I bet he's just too scared to correct me'

He raises an eyebrow at the little guy's question about emotions. “I never said anything about not having emotions, where'd you get that foolish idea? Idiots like that?” He tilts his head back a bit indicating his guards. Luckily he's still speaking quiet enough for them not to hear the insult. “Listen, there are only two emotions located in a demon heart: Love, and the pain caused by it. Even when it's gone we still feel the full range of emotion, just not those two. We can be happy, sad, angry. We can feel despair, fear. . . .Lust.” His smile widens as he looks to the angel with that last word, his sharp fans glistening in the light coming through his little window. Turning his face back to the wall in front of him Kuro lacks his jaw together involuntarily as the boy strikes a sensitive spot.

“Yeah, we're not without feelings, it's just most of my kind doesn't like to admit it.” he says softly through clenched teeth. At the next question his finds himself laughing again. It is short lived, the cuts in his mouth aching when he opens his mouth too wide. The sound however catches Red's attention and he peeks inside for a second. Seeing nothing wrong he goes back to staring at his sleeping partner. “Ah, so green, you really don't know anything do you? Well don't you worry your cute little face, I'll tell you all about my wicked kind.” He turns to look as Aoba with an odd looking smile on his face, reflecting his rather bizarre emotional turmoil on the inside. 'A part of me wants to tear his face off, but I know it's not him I mad at. Doesn't make the feeling go away, but I don't get this other feeling. Like I want to keep him here. I bet it's just because he's healing me, but still' “I'll tell you, as long as you keep coming back to me love.” He winks playfully, turning back to the wall with a sigh.

“I indeed have wings, but unless I need them I keep them inside. Unlike angels who have them out all the time, our kind can't afford it. I’m not sure if you can hide yours, I've never seen an angel without them, but for us it's too dangerous.” Reaching out with one hand he spreads out his fingers to demonstrate. “See, our wings are like a bats, made of think flesh stretched between thin little fingers, the thumbs sticking up with little claws at the joint so we can cling to things or hook them together for a neat visual effect.” Pulling his hand back in he huffs. “You guys got the better deal, yours being so durable and all. However we got you on maneuvering.” Laying his head down on one cheek so he can look at the angel he raises an eyebrow. “Any more question Little Mouse? Oh wait, I have one too. Did you really think they were going to let you lessen the pain? I'm a demon they're not sowing me mercy by letting you heal me, they are letting you heal me so they can make me feel more pain longer without dying." He doesn't sound condescending, just very matter-of-fact.
When his morning treatment is finally complete Crios looks to the door, his confusion growing. 'Normally Lord Enasi would be here by now. I wonder what's keeping him. Perhaps he's not awake yet. . . .Meaning he's alone in that nothingness' Looking down at Seishu, who's face is covered with one of Rue's wings while the fairy giggles, fluttering it every time the guardian breaths on it, he chews his lips for a few seconds. Then with a little nod he decides. “So, did Lord Enasi wake up too?” Seishu stills, the very faint smile on his face from Rue's antics fades immediately and he seems to stop breathing then with a shrug he sigh and continues playing with Rue. Rue however looks a little crestfallen and turns around so he can snuggle into Seishu's shoulder.

“I'm going to go check on him then.” the fox doctor replied, packing up his things quickly. He didn't want his lord to spend time in that place if he didn't have to. However when his hand was half way to the doorknob hi freezes a a voice rings out behind him.

“Don't ask unless you really wanna know. . .” Seishu's voice is quite, but his tall pointed ears pick up the hushed comment just fine. He swallows, nodding, then leaves the room.

Rue snuggles up closer, turning so he can look into Seishu's eyes. “Does that apply to me too?” Rue really wants to know what's going on, and the usually talkative guardian being so quite scares him a little.

Seishu looks down at Rue and lets out a sigh. “I'm an idiot.” Rue blinks, his mouth opening to ask what he meant, however Seishu turns away from him so instead of asking he settles back against the Nightmare Guardian and just tries to be as comforting as possible.
Depends. I wasn't really thinking about that when Tahaan showed up, but if you think your guy should act the opposite, it's up to you. I think it would be neat, but in this case it's completely not my call.
