A slow smiles spreads across his lips as he once more hears the approach of his favorite angel. 'Oh goodie, two visits today. I hope he's feeling batter' Shifting just enough so that he can look at Aoba when he enters, Kuro gives him a wide smile,t he devious one from before replaces with one of simple pleasure. “Heheh, yeah. . .” he murmurs, watching Aoba closely. His eye open a little wider at the news. 'Perfect. This is perfect. Even one strait day, with help from the Little Mouse, and I can get out of here!' He keeps his face only lightly happy, more surprised than anything else.

“That's great Little Mouse. Now you won't have to waste so much effort on me, heh.” His voice becomes a little sad as he talks. “I don;t know what you had to do to get them to take you seriously, but I'm glad for you Little Mouse. . .” While sad, he also sounds very truthful. It isn't very hard to sound happy for Aoba, since he really is happy for him, despite the feeling coming from a rather selfish place. He pouts a little. “I always behave myself with you love. Can I help it if my form of polite is a little more affectionate than what mister stuffy britches is use to?”

Kuro thinks for a minute, trying to decide how to broach the next subject, but then he notices Aoba looking at the guards. “Yeah, those guys are peace keepers, I recognize the stiff bodies and deadpan stares. They won't jump to conclusions like the other guys so you don't have to worry about them hurting you like the others did.” He knows Aoba is more worried about them hurting Him or reporting his actions, but Kuro takes the selfless route. “As for where it hurts most. . .Well, the number he did on my back when he want about healing me left a lot of sore spots, and I think my arms and legs could use some work. I think the tough guy was just focused on keeping me from bleeding to death.”

He ducks his head a little. “But um, what's really wrong with me at the moment is my blood loss itself.” He looks at Aoba with a very pathetic look before offering up a light smile. “Demons absorb anything they eat, each thing consumed converted into what a demon needs. It's why there are big fat demons out there. They eat more than they need, and all the wrong kinds of consumable. . .” He shudders at the thought before going on. “Anyways, I need to recover my blood, and to do that, I need to eat things with a lot of juice or liquid.” He smiles sheepishly. “Bloody raw meat would be the best, but I couldn't eat that in front of you, so some juicy fruits will do. . . .” His hand comes up to run over Aoba's wing gently. “That is, if it's not too much trouble. . .”
I guess, you wanna get started, or should I?
Seishu was kind of expecting the boy to stay so even as he cuddles the two little minions in close to him, Inui sprouting a fervent blush at the touch, the guardian keeps his eyes on Tweedle. Once the three of them are alone Finn begins without hesitation. “Could you tell me what the big difference is between our realms? I mean, more of, why they are different?” Rue giggles, batting at Inui who responds by sticking out his tongue.

Seishu becomes thoughtful. 'I know of several great big differences, but I think he's asking for the non-obvious ones. That however isn't something he can understand. He's not a guardian' With a sigh he points out as such. “The major differences, other than it's always night there, almost everything there is beyond dangerous, and I have to raise all the kids, are as simple as what fuels the realm itself, but that too is obvious. I can not really answer your question because, being a minion, you lack the proper faculties to understand the answer.” Finn blinks, but then nods in satisfaction. 'Oh, tricky little guy. He wasn't looking for the answer, he was looking to see if there was one. He was checking on us guardians, and not the realms. Clever fellow' Seishu smiles at him.

Finn moves right on to his next question. “Why do you like Rue? He began as the embodiment of what it means to be a dream minion. It could not have been pleasant at first.”

Before Seishu can answer however Rue adopts a haughty tone. Doing his best impression of Seishu he says, “Because he makes me laugh, and takes any crap I throw at him.” Finn and Inui look at Rue, stunned, but Seishu on the other hand begins laughing, pulling out a pillow so he can smother the little fairy with him. Rue giggles and squirms his way out before sliding back up beside Seishu with a wide grin..

Looking to Finn, Seishu smiles. “What he said.” he murmurs before kissing the top of Rue's head and pulling Inui into a tight one armed hug, making the red eyed minion blush even deeper.

Finn tilts his head, deep in thought. 'Rue takes his crap, Crios doesn't take it or ignores it, and from what Starla tole me, Harper doesn't really take it at all, but returns it in kind. So, taking his crap isn't actually a qualification, it's something Rue, and I assume, Lord Enasi specific' Not having ever seen his lord's retaliations against Seishu, he goes off of what he does know about his guardian, who always takes everything in stride. 'Or so I thought. Apparently he's been troubled lately, but I didn't notice. . .'

~*~*~*~*~*~

As they walk together Crios fills Enasi in best he can about Seishu's condition. “Ever since the little one, Inui, joined, Seishu's energy levels have evened out, but he still has to be careful. I'm sure he saw no other way when he got up during your, hem, conversation, but he really is far too reckless.” Unsure of exactly how to broach the subject however Crios just dives right in with his question. “Um, sir, I was wondering. Seishu said you were to be discussing Inui's situation. . .What would that be exactly? I mean, if it's my business. . .” His voice trails off but he looks at his lord hopefully.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Finn isn't one for hesitating when it comes to gathereing information so after a brief moment of deep inflection he moves on, waiting to digest all the fats until he has as much as he can. “Why was Lord Enasi upset earlier? You'd both obviously had been crying right before we walked in, and from what the others have said, he's been upset since before that.”

'Cutting strait in I see' Expecting something of the sort he ignores the looks of sadness on the ones in his arms and keeps his gaze locked on Finn. “That is a two part problem involving Inui, and something that will take a little more explanation.” Finn nods, waiting patiently. “Of the first case, you may want to listen closely Gem.” Seishu murmurs gently, watching the blush race once more across the little minions cheeks but this time he looks at Seishu with terrified interest. “This little Gem here was born on earth, to one of my minions, and then abandoned. My minions, for the most part, don't have paternal or maternal instincts so it's not the most uncommon thing. But normally one of my kind finds the newborn first. However this time, it was Enasi who found it.” Rue cuddle sin closer, laying a hand on Inui's arm. Seishu rustles his hair lightly and adds, “That is why I raise all the kids.”

With a sigh Seishu goes on. “The rest is simple. Enasi couldn't exactly expect any minion to trust him enough to bring him to me, and being the nice guy that he is, he took Gem in and raised him here. After seeing him with me however, he knew that if Gem is ever to be really happy, he'll have to come back to live with me when all this settles down.” Seishu spares Inui a light peck to the top of the head, a light flow of tears finding their way down his pale cheeks. “See, he still loves this little Gem very much, but that's why he wants what's best for you. . .” He waits until Inui settles down, Rue stroking his hair gently, before moving on to the next portion.

“As for the other reason, the reason he's been upset since before Gem, has to do with something we share that the others know about and you don't as of yet.” A sad expression crosses his face as he looks to Finn. “See, before we came together here, whenever either of us went to sleep, were were dropped into this terrible nothingness. In this place, we couldn't even hear our own voice. It was, and will be again, the most horrible experience that we had to undertakes any time we fell asleep. Not fun.” Finn looks a little sick at the thought and Inui stares at Seishu with a tear streaked look of horror. “However, after coming here we discovered that if we fall asleep at the same time, or at least are asleep at the same time, we can come together in a world all our own, that each time, becomes something different. It changes to suit what we need, and is, so beautiful. . .”His voice trails off as he thinks of all the amazing sights.

Inui looks a little more relaxed now. “When we are there, there is no positive and negative, we can't even really feel bad about anything, it keeps us happy and fairly neutral to one another. We can interact closely without having to be careful. It's nice.” Finn looks a little uncomfortable, the look on Seishu's face being a little less than innocent. “While there, I fell in love with Enasi.” This sudden confession rocks Inui and Finn to the core but Seishu goes on before they can respond. “I fell in love, and now live day to day with my heart crushed by the knowledge that I can never tell him, and I can never let him love me.” His gaze slides to the ceiling. “In our last trip to our world I played a stupid little game with the condition of the tiebreaker being the loser had to let the winner kiss him.” He smirks. “I won of course, but the act broke me, and I cried in front of Enasi right before we both woke up.” His head falls to the side to look at Finn, an eyebrow raised. “You can guess from there what was upsetting him,. Well, part of it. I think the other part has something to do with something I can't discuss. I don't assume things like that aloud.”

Finn takes a few minutes to gather himself back up, Rue and Inui muttering softly to each other while Seishu watches with a sly smile. Finally he looks to Finn as he lets out a little cough. “One. . One last question, then I'll go.” Seishu raises an eyebrow, waiting patiently. “Why, hem, why did you make us, I mean, why were my sister and I tested.” Finn is obviously still a little distraught, but he wants to get the question answered so he can leave and find his sister.

However Seishu rolls his eyes. “That would be telling now, wouldn't it?” Finn's shoulders slump in disappointment but before he can excuse himself Seishu adds, “Buuuut, You feel more in synch with your sister now, don't you?” Not sure what he means, unable to think about it too hard, Finn shrugs. With a little bod he heads for the door but a word from Seishu stops him. Looking back to the guardian he looks at him questioningly. The look on Seishu's face takes his breath away, his veins turning cold. “Enasi can not know how I feel, and you will not tell him.” Though it is not a question Finn nods none the less and with a small noise, he quickly exits the room.
“This isn't some poor little angel or puppy you know. Going easy on it and making it comfortable is not our goal. Have you forgotten their last attack?” Fenrir's does nor draw back from the overseer despite her words. The two of them had served together during the last great clash, but while she stayed in the battle regimen, Fenrir had tired of that and settled to his position at watching over the deployment office. Even back in the battle squads he'd been more of a healer than a fighter, but he could still hold his own against the best in the troop.

Rolling his eyes at her he huffs. “No Ma'am, I have not forgotten, which is why we need this beast alive. One more session today is more than likely to finish him off. How often are we going to have the opportunity to interrogate a son of Little Horn himself?” A few council members chuckle at the old nickname for Satan. The overseer becomes thoughtful at his words so he continues. “The only one willing to treat him is a beginner, and I do not think even if we sent a better medic that they would do any better, they are all to afraid of him. I used gumon flesh on him,” a few angels murmurs at this in disbelief, “however I'm sure that even that will not be enough. He will bleed to death if he's torn up again today, and it would be a waste of resources.” A few angels roll their eyes at this phrase, knowing Fenrir's little obsession with efficiency.

The female angel raises an eyebrow. “This was also your argument for taking my soldiers off his guard duty and replacing them with peace keepers.”

Fenrir nods. “The soldier were not only counter productive, but abusive to their own kind. I saw this myself.”

“But did you not also say they claimed the demon was getting intimate with this medi angel?” She inquires.

Fenrir shows no outward signs but inside he mentally bites his lip. 'I did not actually see any acts of intimacy other than soft words, but the ex-guards claim he kissed Aoba. As jumpy as that kid is, I don't really believe that, but I can believe that he pretended to. For all I know the demon is trying to get himself killed so the interrogations stop' Taking a breath h replies, “I have no proof of this and by his won words Aoba has made no such claim to confirm it. I do know that the demon's legendary possessiveness is in fine form and as long as the boy keeps doing his job, the demon will remain docile for him. I saw nothing more than the demon's nature in play as a preservation of his own life, and I believe what my eyes tell me.”

The council looks to one another, discussing the case quietly. Fenrir knows things are not exactly in his favor, but he keeps his head held high and his stance firm as he looks up at the whispering council members behind their tall platform. After several minutes of whispering the overseer waves a hand for quiet and turns to address Fenrir directly. “I grant you leave to have you medic assess the demon's readiness for each session. However if he looks to be abusing this out of favor for the beast we will rescind this order and go back to two sessions a day, no matter the damage, and he will be replaced by you. Understand?” Fenrir tenses at the last part, but nods in assent.

'I gave him to order to break it off and unless he's too far gone already the boy will do as bidden' Fenrir bows slightly as he is dismissed from the council chambers. Back in his own office he writes down the conditions laid out by the council and calls in a messenger to deliever it to Aoba before getting back to work, not sparing it another thought.

Kuro waits quietly until the angels leave, not wanting the older male to see any more of his interactions with Aoba. 'He's definitely suspicious, and from what I gathered from when I was off in my happy place, he's almost ready to pull the Little Mouse from my case. That just won't do!' Once he's truly alone, with his new healing in place, he manages to crawl his way over to a wall and sit up. Not wanting to mess with whatever the guy did to his back he sits with his arm against the wall, his back facing the door. He can hear others coming so as quickly as possible he pulls the feather from his loincloth. A quick glance at it tells him all he needs to know, and just before they arrive he slips it back in where it goes unseen.

The new guards don't even bother looking into his cell after an initial check so Kuro is left to his own devices as he waits. The quiet allows him to think to himself, his wicked thoughts running a mile a minute. 'He's regaining energy, which is good. I hated to see him so drained. He'd be useless if he used it all up' an evil grin crosses his lips. 'but ah what a lovely shade it is now. There was only a touch of it, no one else would notice but a demon, and then only one of my level and above' He chuckles aloud, but still the guards do not bother with him. 'His purity, it's fading. . .' Most battle angels, ones who have a lot of contact with demons, have to go through purification rituals if they want to maintain the highest form of purity, but most don't and the demon's know it. Aoba however was as pure as the day he was born not three days ago, but Kuro can see it. That little fading, and he knows he's got his foot in the door. 'I may yet survive this' He sighs to himself, settling in against the wall to rest and wait for his dear Little Mouse's return.
No problem. It was a valid question.
Seishu does not approve of Enasi moving away, but he sighs and lets him go. 'It couldn't last forever. I know, I know. . .' He sits like a good boy, letting the fox treat him without complaining. However he can not help but raise an eyebrow as Crios threatens him. “A fox wearing a guardian suit. It's almost worth ticking you off more to see it. Crios fires him another withering look and Seishu eeps in fear playfully. He likes the feeling of Enasi helping with the bandages and simply smiles with the experience. 'The best for him, huh? I'm not sure the powers had that in mind when they made us. I doubt that will ever be my dear Doc'

When at last Crios is finished he pulls back with a nod. The twins move in a little closer, trying to get a better look. But at that moment Rue and Inui come in. They take the opportunity to see even more interactions with the Nightmare Guardian. Seishu watches Rue flutter over, a little curious as to just what they've been up to. 'I can sooo feel a kind of new emotion from Gem, but I don't think Rue has noticed. . .For such an observant little thing, he's really oblivious sometimes. Adorable, but annoying' Adopting an overly dramatic look of sadness and hurt Seishu looks over at Rue with a trembling lower lip Crios rolls his eyes and begins packing up. Inui looks a little shocked, bout a touch of suspicion enters his gaze right before Rue giggles and launches himself into the air.

Not wanting to get Crios mad at him Rue lands on top of Seishu as gently as possible, wrapping his arms around the white haired guardian's neck. Seishu hugs him back with a little growling before throwing him off the side of the bed, causing him to roll over Enasi's legs before he catches himself with his wings and flutters over to sit beside Inui once more. Finn cocks his head, kind of understanding what just happened, but Starla on the other hand pipes up. “What was that all about? I thought positive emotions made you sick Night?”

Crios looks over to Starla but remains silent as he finishes packing. Seishu looks at her a little sideways, mimicking her brother. Finn notices, blushes, and sets his head back upright. Seishu however keeps his head tilted. “Affection isn't positive per se. Neither, strictly, is love. Which is why I can love my minions back home. Certain kinds of love are positive, like a mother's love for their child, but that's not the case here. Here, what just passed between us there, was the equivalent of all the good will of a hand shake from a stranger on the street as far as positiveness goes.” Rue looks interested in the analogy and giggles at the thought. He knows that Seishu is kind of teasing the siblings, but lets Seishu have his fun.

Starla looks flabbergasted but Finn then chimes in. “So, it did make you sick, sort of, but it something you've grown so use to it doesn't bother you any more, like the way Rue can tolerate the negative energy you let off once in a while?” Starla looks to him then back to the guardian.

Seishu smiles at the green clad male. “I see you've been taking lessons from a particular doctor. . .” He trails off, looking at Crios with a sly expression on his face. Crios however ignores him and instead looks to his own guardian. “I think Harper is doing his checks with now Lord Enasi. He'll most likely want to report right away, and Night here needs to rest. No matter what you do, h will not rest with you here my lord, and we both know it.” He glaces over at the two small minions, knowing that Seishu will rest with them around. 'I'm not so sure about the plant siblings, but I do not want to order them away. Besides, I have a few questions for Lord Enasi. . .'
Kuro raises an eyebrow. “Glad you're okay. Good thing too or I would have given them a piece of my mind!” His tone is obviously playful, but the undertone of true malice is unmistakable. He smirks as Aoba tries to get to work. “Ah, square one, we meet again. . .” He can feel his consciousness not entirely in his control, the blood loss really getting to him, but when the little angel turns to address his superior Kuro's able to pull himself fully awake. Looking at Aoba carefully he can only agree that the young angel is on no shape to do any healing. 'He had to work his little wings off earlier just to get done what he did. Doing ti again really is too much for him now'

When Fenrir states his intentions, ordering Aoba out, Kuro raises an eyebrow. 'Ah hell no' is all he can think before the larger angel kneels beside him. He is almost ready to protest out loud too but when he notices that the little mouse does not leave he settle down. “Yesir. I'll be off in my happy place now. . .” he mutters just before Fenrir gets working. His eyes go dead as he settles with his head on his hands, his face turned towards Aoba. He shows absolutely no reaction to the pain, his mind otherwise occupied and unable to receive the pain signals from his back.

Fenrir laces his magic through the wounds, pulling together the ones he can roughly while the gaping strips of meat where the flesh has been torn away begin to ooze a bit from the rough treatment. However rather than pouring out of his body Fenrir forces it back in firmly and looks to see what effect it's having on the demon. He pauses for a second, taking in the dead stare an for an instant wonders if he's dead. It takes only a small flick of energy to check to see if Kuro is still alive and with that he goes back to work. 'I wonder what he's doing, and if he can do it at will. If so, there is no way those guys are ever going to get information out of him. Pain, it looks like he can shut it off. This should be excruciating, but he hasn't even flinched once' His gaze shifts over to Aoba. 'I wonder if this is what he does around the kid. . . No, the guards say that they talk and interact. He must let himself feel the pain when Aoba heals him'

Finishing up with the gashes he moves on tot he missing bits. Pulling out long strips of a skin like material he places them over the exposed muscle, using his magic to conform them to the right shape and to adhere them to the charred skin along the edges. An advanced technique, Fenrir being one of the only ones who can use it properly, the flesh material settles on perfectly, keeping the wound sealed. Pulling Kuro into a sitting position with no difficulty, the demon very much like a poseable doll at the moment, he finishes by wrapping him in fresh bandages. As an extra precaution. All of the open wounds are sealed, but they need to be kept clean. While he works he glances over at Aoba. “He doesn't do this when you heal him.” It is not a question, but a statement. He goes immediately on. “While I can not approve of you having any kind of relationship with this beast, your bedside manner must be amazing for him to put up with the pain just to talk to you.” His gaze becomes sharp. “So, what do you and this filth talk about?”
Heh, Tahaan is so childish and dorky :P
It is happy. Tahaan falls still at the greeting, returning the courtesy in kind. It knows what it's partner likes, and Tahaan tries often to oblige. However, at this moment, things change. Things become different It watches the threads, listening to it's counterpart. Things, ideas, somethings begin to grow in it's companion and Tahaan can not wait to see what it is. It travels hither an tither, it's impatience making it move in it's natural random fashion, but always nearby. When bidden, it trembles happily and draws in close to the other. The threads around, the nothingness stretching forever, Tahaan is overjoyed to be trying something new. Something different. It has always wanted more. Leave it to Aysus to come up with a new game.

Threads come, and more threads, the storm harmonizing with them as it gathers in close about them. Tahaan tried it's best not to do too much, but on occasion it shivers with delight.

~I like this game.~

It wriggles about, in so close to it's counterpart. It's never been so close, and the newness brings joy. Something different is always something to be happy about. It can't see the energy any more, just the threads, and Aysus. Even all the nothing is gone, there is so much around them, so many little threads Tahaan would normally be toying with at this point. However it is not Tahaan's game, so it waits. Waits for what Aysus wants it to do.

Then Tahaan's part of the game begins. Like a shot it fires off, playing with the thread with the utmost joy. Having so many to play with as opposed to the couple here and small mass there. It is a good game for Tahaan, and even as Aysus does it's part, Tahaan does it's best to make things move the way it believes they should. It does not notice the danger, too wrapped up in what it's doing. It's very being it threatened by what they are doing, but there is no stopping Tahaan now. This is a game, and it is determined to play it out. Catching a glance at Aysus and what the other is doing another ripple pf joy runs through the gray cloud, thinking Aysus is playing the game with it making Tahaan very happy. They had never played together before, their tastes in play very different, But now, at they work together, a new bond seems to form between them, and Tahaan would not have it any other way.

Suddenly it happens! Something new is born, and Tahaan stops for an instant to admire it before darting to Aysus's side.

~This is pretty. I like you idea.~

It continues to watch it carefully, aware that Aysus is torn about it, but unable to feel such mixed feelings itself. A new pulse in the universe brings shivers across the gray cloud, causing the little sparkles to shine out the brighter.

~I like it. . . But something is missing. It is too much. . .One way.~

Unsure of the meaning behind it's own words Tahaan moves closer to it, wondering what's missing. There are threads left over, the tangled mass of them writhing, pulling away from the new thing. Tahaan moves to them, scooping them up inside itself with the others it gathered earlier. Moving back to it's counterpart's side it has an idea.

~Help me hang them. Follow me.~

It pulls out the ends of the thread, all not untangled after being inside of Tahaan. Drifting forward it moves around the bright thing, the threads trailing out behind it. Aysus follows it's lead and begins hanging the thread. The new thing simply stays in place, but the threads once more try to move away. Tahaan knows the threads can not think on their own, so their movements mus be because of what is left over from the creation. But, nothing should be left over. Everything pulled together should be used, because one can not have a part of a whole an expect it to stand. Tahaan knows how much Aysus values a solid existence, so it works hard to make one.

The threads over lap, weaving around each other in a far more ordered fashion than when the bright thing was made. These thread cling to one another. Eventually the bright thing becomes almost lost in the threads, and the threads themselves begin to expand outwards in all directions. They act as if some great explosion is only moments away. But Tahaan does not give up. It wants to complete it's idea, and it will not be denied. When the last thread falls into place, the bright thing completely covered, Tahaan calls Aysus to it side.

~With me!~

As one they enter the thick bind of threads, pressing them into the bright thing in one place. When at last the two things meet, the threads, and the brightness. Like the rippling waves of it's counterpart's folds the threads ripple out, becoming a new thing. The bright thing is once again hanging in the nothingness, but all around anywhere where there is no brightness, there is now dimness. Tahaan looks around to the side of itself not facing the brightness and finds it to be almost black. Looking to Aysus, it finds the same. The two things feel right, in order now. The balance between them in perfect harmony, like the two beings that created it.

Ecstatic Tahaan rushes around Aysus once more, shadowing the other in darkness every time it passes between the brightness and Aysus. Very pleased with what they have made Tahaan settles beside it's counterpart once more and simply basks in the feeling.

~Look what we made Aysus. We made something new! More than a something, two somethings. Two, like us.~

It's communications are very excited, but it tries to let Aysus be so it can enjoy the creations the way it's counterpart always does. In it's own calm still way. Tahaan looks a the dark, the invisible bits of it that are connected to the light. They will never be separated. Not ever.
Wasn't it though? Alexi's so cuddly. . . Even if Erik will never belive that :P
