Those delicate fingers dance over the soft skin and Kuro has to fight swallowing at the sight of Aoba examining the job he did on the angel's arm. Instead he shifts his focus up to Aoba's eyes once more and he tilts his head slightly. 'You really are beautiful Little Mouse. No matter the race, you are one to be treasured as a prize. A gift' His thoughts are not nearly as disturbing to him as they would be other demons, but he does not know that the reason behind the mildness of his own responses has to do with that gaping emptiness in his chest. To a demon with a heart, the thoughts now passing through his head would make his heart ache, but lacking such a thing, all Kuro feels is a little. . .Odd.

When at last Aoba seems satisfied with his work and thanks him Kuro nods in return, moving on to his other arm. He smiles and laughs slightly as he pushes the angel's other sleeve up high. “I owe you my life many times over Little Mouse, an attack like that is only small repayment for all I owe.” His hand runs down the arm, once more pulling out splinters and causing the wounds to bleed. However there are more on this arm and Kuro bites his lips as more little blots of blood begin blossoming on his pale flesh. “Whats more, I owe you my freedom, and that will take a long time to repay. I need no thanks for my actions, for you have given me a form of thanks already for all of these deeds.”

Kuro knows he's being a little dramatic, but as he taps into his magic for the second pass, he somehow feels that it is the right thing to do right now. After the third pass he once more pulls his hands back so Aoba can examine his work. Reaching into his coat he slowly pulls out the pitch black feather, resting it on his palm like a compass needle. “When your divinity was stripped from you, I felt it with this. Like a great shock. Your feathers are a part of you, as I'm sure you know, and even after shed and corrupted, apparently they are still connected. All I had to do was follow it to where it led me.” He strokes his finger once down the length of it before tucking it back over his where his heart should be beneath his coat.

“I found your crater outside first, then all it took was scenting you out.” He cracks a smile. “I'm very familiar with your smell now. I would have come to you sooner, but I had something to do. . .” He's not quite sure he wants to tell the angel about the marking of territory, knowing there is a good chance Aoba may take it wrong, so instead he stands slowly. “Speaking of the crater however. . . You must have his very hard. . .” Seeing no bruises on Aoba's face or the front of his neck, Kuro moves around behind Aoba and kneels once more. Knowing better than trying for a visual assessment, he instead runs his fingers along Aoba's lower back. “Does that hurt?” He tries to be gentle, but he feels he has to be firm if he wants an honest response out of the male.
'She really went too far earlier, that Starla. I do believe I will have to “teach her a lesson” about pranks' Seishu eyes the girl from across the room as Crios makes his report. “Bunny, hop hop hop. . .” Rue raises an eyebrow at the random words from the guardian but Seishu dismisses them with a wave. “It's from a movie. . .” Still not getting it, never having seen a movie before, or even really heard of them, Rue lets out a sigh but doesn't ask about it further.

'Mister Seishu seems to be concentrating on something, I shouldn't bother him' Inui is also curious but follows Rue's example and stays quiet.

Seishu is indeed distracted, a tumble of thoughts making their way through his head as Enasi lays out his orders. 'Doc and Hops seem to be trying desperately now to get Enasi an I apart, and while I can understand to a degree, it's kind of hurtful that they are obviously doing it for they and their guardian's sakes. Rue doesn't understand, and Inui has his own things to deal with, but they if given their druthers would most likely want us to find a way to be together. I think it's the almost cold calculations of Doc and Hops that I'm the most bothered by. They don't want to lose their guardian, so the most efficient way is to try and get me out of the picture quickly, and while they know I won't hold it against them, I find it more than a little sad that they don't seem to have any sympathy for me at all. I know that's selfish of me, but dammit, I may get more nookie than Enasi, but I also have to spend every day wondering how many of my nightmares and minions are going to be killed because of the very nature of our realm. . .None seem to care how lonely I am. Enasi at least has an entire realm that loves him, I on the other hand. . .' While Seishu knows his minions and nightmares love him, somehow, it just feels different.

'Being here is really getting to me. I better get back before I pick up any more bad habits. Before coming here, I liked my life, lonely as it was. However with all this dream brand affection, I think I'm getting so mixed up inside. . .' Seishu nearly jumps out of his skin when Rue crawls up and wraps his arms around the guardian's neck, so far into his own thoughts that the world around had faded out for a while. “Huh, wha? What happened, what's wrong?” He mumbles out, still not completely “there”.

Rue sniffles a bit and looks into the Nightmare Guardian's eyes. “Lord Enasi says I have to stay here, but I really wanna go with, but I know I should stay, so I'm just giving you a hug before you go. . . .” Rue doesn't seem put out that Seishu wasn't paying attention, knowing that the guardian has been off in his own world for a while. Seishu looks to Enasi for a moment before hugging Rue back.

Whispering softly into the boy's ear he says, “Keep my bed warm for me, what do you say?” Rue giggles and nods, moving so he can tuck his legs under the covers before snuggling up on the pillows. Rasha scoots of to the edge of the bed and in a puff of silver smoke he appears in his human form. Finn raises an eyebrow just as Harper peeks back through the door, announcing that the portal is ready. Rasha stays conspicuously silent as he holds out a hand for Seishu. The guardian hesitates only an instant, but with a glance towards Enasi he shifts the covers aside and smiles at Rasha in thanks. Once on his feet Seishu lets go of Rasha's hand and wanders towards the door slowly. 'Enasi is the only one I'm willing to lean on, sorry Little Lokitt. My pride is still as stubborn as ever' However he does not reach out for help from Enasi, instead making his way as carefully as possible to the doorway.

'They want us apart, and I can't mark them as wrong' He muses, slipping outside the door and leaning against the wall right next to it. Starla raises an eyebrow at him, while inside the room Rue gives Inui's hand a squeeze in support as the nervous minion makes his way past the others to wander over to Seishu's side. Rasha takes up a spot on Seishu's other side, still silent, his eyes flicking between everyone in the gathered party. He moves a little closer to Seishu when Finn exits the room, but other than that, he looks rather calm and cool.
Yes, that is L from Death Note, and I think this is one of the only cases where I'm not going to argue any more logic. Alexi doesn't know, period. He just doesn't. Even if it doesn't make sense, he doesn't know. His brother presented him with profiles, reports, outlines, redacting the names from each and every one because he knew his brother didn't want to know. He has no rich friends to discuss things with, he doesn't listen to rumors, he doesn't listen to radio, or watch TV, and he ignores most talk about the rebellion, to busy with his own plans for slavery. You can think about it what you will, but the fact will remain: Alexi doesn't know Erik's name. Mois does, because he was the one doing all the research, but Alexi, doesn't. I'm not upset, so please don't take it as such, I'm just not sure what else to say. It is what it is, and I can not change how it is.
*Wiggles around* So, where were we?
The wind shifts and Kuro catches the scent of a few more demons in the area. They are still far enough away to not pose a direct threat, but as long as Aoba is on earth, he will never be totally free f the threat of demon attack. 'Poor Little Mouse. It's like he's in a cage now. Without me or some powerful priest or another, or even just a guardian angel, he's not going to survive. As a fallen angel, he'll never really die. He'll have to move once in a while to avoid suspicions like I have. It's a tough life, but I hope he is up to the challenge' Opening his wings for a few seconds he uses them to spread his scent around, making the nearby demons move off a bit, before pulling them inside once more. The action pulls at his shoulder wound, but he ignores it.

At the angels soft call, Kuro does not react right away. He simply smiles to himself in a slightly self satisfied way. 'He really does have a strong survival instinct. Either that or he really is afraid of scaring' With a soft sigh he turns and moves slowly inside. Aoba looks his way and he gives the boy a warm smile to hide his look of satisfaction. He walks over next tot he angel an kneels down at his side. Without a word he takes hold of Aoba's left arm and pushes the sleeve all the way up to his shoulder gently. Looking ti over he spots the few remaining slivers and nods.

“Hold still, this will hurts a bit.” He then begins running his hand down the arm, the opposite direction the slivers entered from. With a little bit of magic he latches on to the bits of wood and pulls them out of the wounds. He doesn't have much finesse so a couple start bleeding, but after dropping the slivers o the floor he does another pass to make them stop bleeding. The wounds seal, the light crackle of his energy making him twitch. 'That hurt a bit, but I can't really help that, and I did warn him' A third swipe of his hand smooths the skin out, minimizing the chance of scaring. 'They were all very shallow, so he should come out of this without any marks' Looking up to Aoba he waits to see what the angel thinks before he moves on.
Well, not exactly like that. Yes, Alexi does not watch the news, but he does know more than just "He's pretty" though that is a factor (Alexi's a little shallow there ya know :P) He has detailed records of everything Erik has done, and he's heard testimony from the interrogators about the rebels who have been captured and (This is my own invention) have all managed to kill themselves rather than divulging anything important with the help of humans who support the rebellion :P Alexi likes that Erik can inspire that type of devotion, or so Alexi sees it :P
Bingo.
Seishu begins seriously relaxing. 'A sexy beast on either arm, and the only sound in the room coming from a guy I make horny without even trying. . .Yeah, I really could get use to this. It's not my top scenario for my life, but that scenario can never happen, so I'll settle for my third one from the top' He lets out a long breath, not letting himself relax too much in case his body decides that maybe it wants to sleep. 'Nah, I can hold out. Besides, I want to make sure I'm a little more in my own head before I sleep again. Not that I'd meet up with him should I sleep now, but. . .' He mentally shrugs, looking down at the furball in his lap. 'I have the feeling this one could be really tough if he tried. With training of course, because right now all he does is tricks. Tricks take skill, not power per se' He smiles remembering a few he played with nothing more than a few choice words.

His eyes shift over to the door, the sound of it opening rousing the three others in the room as well. He watches the little exchange between Rasha and Finn with a smirk on his lips. While Enasi is showing the boy sympathy, Seishu holds up a finger to give Rasha a high-five. Rasha would be so flushed if in human form at the gesture, however being covered with fur he instead puffs up his chest. 'He liked it!' He brings a paw up and slaps a furry high-five before looking back towards the male sibling. By then he's been joined by his sister and Rasha looks a little less pleased with himself. 'Now she's scary. I hope No one leaves me alone with her. . .Ever. . . .' At her threat Rasha climbs right up Seishu's chest and gives him but pouty eyes. “She can't do anything right? I'm not allowed, so she's not. . .” His voice trails off as Seishu nods.

Starla looks a little confused but Seishu does not hesitate to explain. “As I just got done explaining to Little Lokitt here when he took a couple swipes at Gem, I will not put up with you all fighting one another. Not only is it detrimental to my health should you let your bickering get in the way of protecting me, but I know how much my counterpart hates to see his precious underlings fighting one another. If you really want to get back at him, pranks are the way to go, if you're up to the challenge of pranking a prankster.” Before Harper can drop in his two cents about his easy victory Seishu adds, “Hops, that did not count, because the Fanboygasm Factor. In his right mind I'm sure that would have never worked, right Little Lokitt?” Seishu scratches Rasha under the chin and the cat thing purrs the affirmative.

Harper, still not use to the gushing displays of affection, rolls his eyes and makes gagging noises at the sight. Finn and Starla both watch with similar looks on their faces, Starla more upset than sickened, but the moment passes as Crios enters the room. Seishu watches the little back-and-forth with a wry smile. 'They are getting rather close. Either that or I really in the land of love an affection and that's normal here. . .' He rolls his eyes at the dragging comment but Rasha looks horrified at the idea. Once rolled off Seishu, Rasha curls up on Inui's lap to wait. The minion looks a little fearful at first but after a couple seconds Rasha lets both of the minions per him while they wait for the doctor's assessment. Rue giggles happily while Inui just smiles.

Seishu lets out a hiss as Crios casually pokes at him, and the minions scoot back ever so slightly on automatic. Rasha is about to ask why but a sudden feeling of negativity From Seishu's direction is more than enough to keep his quiet. Crios pulls out a pain killer and administers a shot while murmuring softly. “Your pain has leveled out, and I've got the dose down perfectly. I’ve managed to make a decent mix of non addictive additives to put into the solution to make weaning you off of it later much easier. The trip to earth, you should really be more than fit for it for now, will be some good physical therapy, and you've got plenty of hands now to catch you should you topple over.” Their eyes meet for an instant and Seishu understands the hidden meaning behind those words. Enasi doesn't have to be the one to hold Seishu all the time, now that he has so many others to help him detach from the Dream Guardian.

Stepping back he looks over to Enasi as the minions roll back into place playfully, Rasha bouncing playfully on Seishu's lap. His body is so light that it doesn't hurt the bruises even when he lands on them directly. Giving his guardian a nod he motions with his hand towards the door. “He's free to go to the human realm once more, but this time I would like to accompany you. I'll keep track of his medical needs as we go, and maybe I can learn a thing or two about nightmare healing, who knows.”

Having heard that their lord has been on earth, a small groups from the rebellion take turns going there to keep an eye out for him. Dispersed across the surface they keep themselves well hidden while their senses are cast out far and wide in hopes of seeing their lord once more. However Gin's followers are doing much the same thing, keeping an eye out fro rebels as well as the fallen lord. It is Kaila and his team's turn this evening, and alone Kaila wanders the streets of Kyoto, desperately hoping to be the one to chance across Master Seishu. 'Master, we need your guidance. We are acting as we pray you would bid us should you be here to lead us, but without seeing your face, sadness threatens to overtake me'

Kaila sighs, once again darting down an alley so that a pack of Gin's followers do not see him. Grinding his teeth a bit in disgust he shakes his head. 'Master Seishu would know better than to be in a populated place like this, if he has part of the decision making over there at all. A smaller town would be better. Somewhere out of the way. . .' A light bulb goes off and in a flash Kaila vanishes from the busy town of Kyoto, reappearing miles away in Okinawa. Seeing almost no other minions and nightmares about he settles in to wait. The island is so small that should Seishu arrive there, Kaila will notice his presence no problem.
Kinn watches curiously as the king does not finish his rather sparsely laden plate. 'We must put a stop to that as soon as possible. Whatever is keeping him from eating, I will have to ask him because food in very important to all living things' He tilts his head, a light pop coming from his neck at the motion, but his eyes stay trained on the king as he stands. He nods submissively and follows after the lord as he leaves the dinning hall, his focus on the man in front of him. 'He really does put on a tough front. I wonder how hard that is. His servants seem to know he's sicker than he acts, but they are keeping it to themselves for the most part. I wonder if that's under orders. I really should find out the relationships here between he and his underlings. It will help me act appropriately' His focus shifts ever so slightly as he takes in the palace's many little bits and pieces that make the surrounding more pleasant.

They are not in the halls long however, the king's first destination close at hand it would seem. As they pass out into the open air Kinn makes sure all of his flesh is hidden before he too steps out into the sunlight. 'It is good that it is an densely populated garden. This provides a lot of shade. However I should perhaps remind him the detrimental effects of such places on my health' Even with the slight misstep by his new master Kinn does take the opportunity to admire the local flora. The many colors speckled about the lush greenery makes him sigh softly. It has been quite the long time without such sights.

Eventually the king stops and Kinn picks a spot near to him beneath a Japanese maple to stand within ear shot of the man. The thick leaves and flowers allow him to push back his hood, allowing his long hair to fall loose and his eyes to wander more freely. The fresh lush smells around him Make the vampire sigh softly, taking deep breaths. His face remains neutral, but inside he does get a small thrill of pleasure from the exposure to nature. His attention however is soon caught by the human as he asks about what Kinn does between summonings.

He lets out a sigh, the same question asked of him a hundred times by a hundred different souls, some not even the ones he was summoned to. ”I suppose the like of a summoned creature wold be a curiosity for most sentient beings, having never experienced it for themselves, and the chances of ever doing so slim to none' His head tilts to the side and he murmurs, “I sleep. It is less a sleep and more a state of being unaware of anything. Like a candle that is not lit, I have no light, and there is nothing of me for me to be. I do dream on occasion, but I am not sure how often, since measuring time would require my knowing that time is passing. My dreams are memories of my summonings past. As the creature I am, I can not make new dreams, only review my memories.”

His head tilts tot he other side. “Speaking of what I am, I would request that you remember what I am and perhaps not lead me into the sunlight without warning again. I can become a little focused at times, and should I not catch myself, the painful burns would be my only warning before I am burned beyond repair.” His voice is not angry or with reproach, a simple tone of query and a polite request.
Once bidden Chall smiles softly, his tail beginning a rhythmic swaying back and forth at the prospect of a proper meal. He walks to the table slowly, his stiff shoulder keeping his movements likewise stiff in an effort not to jostle it. The warmth of the room, he surmises, is not just from the rising sun, but from also the cooking of the meal they are about to partake in. His tail curls up curiously as his nose goes to work, sniffing out the various scents already on the table. 'Milk, bread, butter' He wrinkles his nose slightly. 'Pepper. My brother would be sneezing up a storm by now. He has a much more sensitive nose than I' Thoughts of his brother make Chall's ears droop a bit, but with a sigh he settles into one of the seats carefully. The cat moves past his legs and Chall lets his tail curls around her once before she wanders off and the appendage goes back to swaying happily.

Looking up to his host he nods, then looks to the bag the man has made up for him. His tail settles for a moment then the tip begins twitching slightly. 'This feels strange. I've never had someone be this accommodating before, save for when they want something in return' He looks back up as the man exits the room. 'However there is little to nothing I can offer the man unless he is looking for me to perform a spell of some sort. However' He looks around at the humble surroundings. 'He does not seem that type. Unless it's something very important, or something he can not do alone, I do not see this man wanting for anything' Chall may have never been like the tall man, but he has seen a few since leaving his home in the palace.

Even in the palace, certain servants seem so content with their positions, like the stable master and the head chef, that Chall often would wonder if his wanting more was something keeping him from being happy. However his thought soon would turn, the next time he would hear the derisive laughter or backhanded complement of a particularly outspoken servant who hates his kind. The large pot being plopped on the table snaps him out of his thoughts, his tail poofing out a bit in fright, the hair long his back stiffening as well. However the smell of the simple fare is enough to calm him down quickly. He watches his host serve himself up first, thinking it only polite to let him do so in peace, before Chall carefully scoops up some on to his own platter.

He eyes the beast on the ground getting bust with both the bone and the dropped scraps of food and shudders slightly. 'At least there are not ten of them fighting over it. I can never understand the king when he does fool things like that. It gets so noisy, and the poor things end up biting one another as often as not' Rolling his eyes he picks up a slice of bread, however he pauses with it in mid air as he watches the man before him eat. 'His mouth is huge. . . .It's like watching a slow motion tornado as it sucks up everything at the base of the funnel' Chall is truly fascinated by the show, but he soon realizes he is being rude and turns his attention to his own meal. Buttering the bread he piles on some mutton and eggs before folding it over and biting into the mass.

His teeth slice through the mass cleanly and efficiently, leaving little mess on his lips. While a little more delicate a eater, Chall does not lack for speed when it comes to keeping himself fed. 'This is some hearty stuff and will help greatly. I need as much energy as I can get, and this will most certainly do' He looks up to see Wren motioning silently if he wants any more. Checking his plate he takes out one more scoop to add to the pile already there before motioning that he has enough. Again, the man works his way through the food at an astounding rate and Chall has to remind himself not to stare. The man beast has no idea that his speed rivals the human's, having never having thought about it nor watched himself eat. About the same time Wren finishes, Chall cleans the last bit from his platter and sits back in the chair.

Plucking up one more piece of bread, being one of his favorite things to eat, and this kind suiting his palate, he begins munching on it slowly as the man begins talking. He nods silently, looking to his still slightly juicy platter. Using his bead he sops it all up, the flavors mixing together pleasantly on his tongue as he shoves the last bit behind his teeth before they snap shut happily. 'It's amazing what a good meal can do for the body. I am still in pain, but the sedated feeling of a full stomach is making my skin hum pleasantly' A crack from under the table makes him jump, whimpering as the sudden movement causes his shoulder to throb painfully. He growls slightly, looking down at the culprit behind the noise. However the dog just looks up at him for a moment then goes back to enjoying it's prize. “No consideration for my fraying nerves, huh pooch?” His voice is low but the man could most likely hear him even over the sound of him doing dishes.

Pushing himself up carefully, he lets out a sigh, holding the chair to help him keep his balance. 'I really hope this isn't going to be too long of a trip. Even with the food, I'm feeling a bit light headed from this fool wound. The pain is now more annoying than anything, but the less time I have to spend in any one location, the better. The last thing I need is for the people in this town to find out I'm here and get curious, or worse, upset' His ears twitch as once more he hears a large beast outside the door, but her rolls his eyes, not bothering with trying to figure out what a large farm animal is doing so close to the house. Leaning to the side he manages to spot the corner of the house's other humanoid occupant through a little doorway.

Raising his voice a little, only so he knows the human can hear him Chall calls out, “You said you have some herbs I could use. I don't need much, just some mugan root, some juren nettles, and some slatith if you've got it. Oh, and something to put it in once I've mixed it. I've got the rest of what I need here, but I ran out of powder leathers some time ago.” On the trip, due to Chall's lack of hunting skills, he has indeed needed to mix many supplements to keep his health up, leading to his own personal potion and powders supplies to run a little low far sooner than he'd hoped. His head tilts to the side, making his leaning look more like a hanging than a lean, but he once again recalls that they have as of yet to exchange names.

'Though it is only a short time we are to be together, I believe this man deserves the courtesy' Once Wren comes back into the room Chall straitens up and coughs lightly. “You must forgive the lateness of this, my display the night prior not my best form one could say, but I would like now to properly introduce myself.” He knows he's being a little over the top for a common man, but his court upbringing is kicking in over his natural urges as the pain once again threatens to make him into an ornery little brat. “I am Chall, son of mother Maruta, apprentice mage in the high court of King Hammon, third of that name.” He bows slightly, biting his lip as the motion pulls at his shoulder and comes back up quickly, hand going to the wound with a pathetic noise finding it's way out of his throat. He flushes at the noise but looks to his host to see if he will to the honor of returning the introduction.
