I made a decision there about the potion administration, and I kinda wanna keep it as I stated it. We could have it that there are baseless rumors of the procedure killing the intended slave, but I want Alexi to be telling the truth there. . . .
As the elder Vandros listens he begins eating slowly. His attention remains on Joseph even as more and more of his meal disappears from his plate, the wine glass growing slowly more and more empty. 'I was sure that he is indeed angry over all of this, and I would expect nothing less from such a fine leader. Though he may be on the opposite side of me as far as my job goes, one can not help but admire him in his tactics. . .Will, as long as you have a head on your shoulders, and for the most part,t he idiots I work with don't even have eyes in what head they have left' He lets out a faint 'hmm' when Joseph mentions the vampire being interested in Alexi, but it is not a noise of questioning, just a faint not of interest on his part.

'Alexi is nothing if not lenient with the slaves in this household. Since I have not real standing here, and I see no reason to act otherwise, I too let the slaves here basically live their lives the way they will, however Alexi takes it one step further, letting them not only live their lives, but doing what he can to make the lives they are living, better' His eyebrow twitches slightly when the other male mentions the leaders name, recalling how Alexi had vehemently insisted that Mois not tell him the leader's name and he makes a mental note to let Joseph know this after they are done talking. His gaze becomes fixed on the table however when Joseph mentions the vampire wanting to take a bite out of his dear little brother, but he relaxes, knowing Alexi is not that stupid. He will not allow the vampire the opportunity.

Mois nods slowly as the head slave comes to the end of his assessment of the rebel leader. He remains silent for several minutes, eating slowly until at last his plate his clean, the last sip of that single glass of wine washing it down. Letting out a faint sigh he at last looks to his once mentor and nods his head respectfully. “I thank you for speaking on this matter Joseph, and I will keep your words in mind. Though this has done little to ease my worry, a little is all I was looking for. If you are right, and I trust your judgment, then I expect that Alexi will be safe for now.” Looking down at his now empty plate he huffs. Looking back to Joseph he smiles lightly. “Could you bring me a sandwich and something fruity to drink? I will wait here for Alexi to join me. After you bring them, you are free to go if you have things to do.”

~*~*~*~*~

It is clear even to his pitiful human eyes that the bound vampire is nothing less than enraged by his words, however Alexi does not shy way from the anger, knowing that it completely normal and understandable for him to be feeling that way. He watches with great fascination as the older male battle his way back to appearing at least slightly calm. 'He has great will power. That vicious thing inside him wanting nothing more than to tear into my flesh and drain be dry must be very difficult to control at this point, yet here he is, pulling himself together despite my being even closer to being within his grasp now'

When finally the suffering man manages to respond Alexi looks at him with a rather blank expression. Without a drop of doubt in his voice he states quite plainly, “You will not die because of anything eye do, and if you begin trying to kill yourself I must tell you I am ready to bind you in such a way as to make that impossible.” He keeps his voice even, despite the sick feeling in his stomach at the thought of the astounding creature in front of him ending his own life. “You are quite right, you will lose your rational mind in this, however having lost that, you will have no choice but to feed, and, if you insist, that will happen each time before I administer your doses. It will hurt, and you will want to die, but if you think that this alone will kill you, then you have not done enough research on the subject. Not a single magical has died from this procedure in it's very long history.”

He falls silent, not proud of what he had to say there. In fact, much of what he had to say sickened him and it shows now in his face as he looks to the floor sadly. Trying desperately to take his mind off things he looks once more to the outfit Joseph had purchased for the bound man and lets out a small sigh. “Leave it to Joseph to hit the nail on the head. . .He likes reading my old history books. That toga you are wearing? The color represents great mourning or protest. They were worn by royalty to tell the world of their pain, or to show the gods and people that they find something wrong with the world or a situation unacceptable. Commoners would wear them too, when they could afford it, but. . .” He lets out another sigh, then, as if recalling something he smiles softly. “Oh, and about your shirt, I will have a new one made for you. . .”
Seishu remains in his daze, even as Cho walks in and begins taking orders. Rue orders some sweets, Inui, something light and fluffy. Rasha orders some fish with lemon, and Crios calls for something cooked in wine. After the last order Cho walks carefully up to the bed and waits quietly at Seishu's side. Somewhere in the back of his mind the guardian knows why he is standing there, but it takes a few minute for him to say anything.

“After each great clash, my people gather in the halls of my palace for a mourning meal. It allows us all to dispel our grief and feel refreshed by the next morning. There is nothing special about the dish served itself, but. . .I feel like eating it right now. . .” Those in the room listen intently, Rue feeling a faint flutter of happiness that Seishu finally said something. Cho nods slowly at Seishu's words, waiting patiently for Seishu to tell him what the dish is. He knows the dish will most likely sound quite gross to those around him, but at this point, he feels it may be the only thing he can stomach.

“The dish is simple. A cut of fresh red meat, cooked in a mixture of blood from five other animals. Once cooked it is placed on a bed of ivy, a drizzle made from sugar and the blood it was cooked in dripped over it with fresh blood orange slices framing it, and a single flower petal placed in the middle atop the meat.” As he falls silent Cho tries to imagine what that will taste like, but despite his dubiousness over whether or not he will be able to cook the meal properly, he none the less bows, casting a smile around the room before slipping out an hurrying off to the kitchen to get cooking.

He only makes it a few steps however when the familiar sound of big furry feet on stone draws his attention and he turns to see Enasi and Harper approaching the room. Without hesitation Cho bounds up to his lord and give him an award winning hug before pulling back and looking up at Enasi with the sympathy thick in his gaze. “I am so sorry Lord Enasi. I've ordered a feast prepared for the rest of the palace, and I've just finished taking orders from the gang. I assume they will all be eating in the room for at least part of the evening.” He tilts his head slightly. “Night ordered and interesting dish of mourning. . .I hope I don't mess it up. . .” He smiles wide, trying to keep his mood from plummeting. “What would you and the general like for the evening meal, hmm?”
That movie may not be the best movie with angels in it, however that has got to be the best description I have ever heard for them, ever. Oh, and what did you think of my idea of having, like, 20% of the angel population Guardian Angels? I think it may add a fun twist :P We can even go as low as 10%, I just want to have a few of them :P

Edit: Also, I has a question. . . Do we have plans of Illiendi ever actually getting at least an inkling of this thing called love, or will this all be one sided on Amano's part, and Illiendi will return to hell with only ever simply indulging Amano's more base desires?
Kuro suppresses a large grin that bubbles just beneath the surface as Aoba does not object to wearing close to nothing to bed. 'I really can't wait until he begins letting me sleep with him. We shall have to get a nicer bed by then I hope. . . .In fact, I think I'll make one with my bare hands, raw materials and all. As a gift. He would most likely invite me to sleep with him just from that alone, not wanting to hog something I worked so hard on, heheh' As the ideas tumble through his head he allows them to keep his eyes politely averted from the angel as he climbs from the tub and towels off.

“My pleasure. . .” he murmurs softly, following behind the barely clad young male with his eyes roving openly while Aoba is not looking. As Dani comes into sight his smile shifts from one of interest to one of pure amusement. 'He's really in the mood to kill something right now. I can feel something out there, but I doubt it will. . . .' He sighs as the feeling vanishes and watches with mild curiosity as his big brother turns his attention on to the scantly clad angel. He senses nothing threatening from the smaller demon, and knowing they'd have to get acquainted eventually anyways, Kuro does not interfere when Dani moves in closer to Aoba.

As Aoba moves in closer to him Kuro's hands come up to rest on the angel's arms gently. He chuckles as Dani visually twitches at the question. “What don't you ask him that Little Mouse?” His tone is sincere, the taller male wanting to see the two interact now that Dani can't harm him.

Dani puffs up slightly. “Yeah, why not just ask me, huh? Think because I'm smaller that I'm somehow incapable of answering questions about myself? I'll have you know there is no way that silly little brother of mind could possibly know more about what I'm thinking about than I do, and if you think for a second that I would stand by and let him try and dictate my feelings and actions, you got another thing coming foolish youngling!” With a harrumph he waits for Aoba to apologize, fully expecting one, for there is no doubt in his mind that he has be wronged and that it must be corrected. He crosses his arms and eyes Aoba expectantly, unable to comprehend where one so much younger than he got off talking to him like that. Kuro simply rolls his eyes and lets go of the angel in his grasp, also waiting to see what Aoba does.
That would look funny :P And don't worry, take your time :P
*Giggles* Alexi can be rather. . . .Persuasive, when he wants to be :P
*Giggles* I'm sure we all wants so snuggle your two hurting characters :P

*Has Alexi smother them with love while Mois looks on impassively*
I'm good with the mental disorder, and the alcoholism would explain why Mois and Alexi don't drink much. I like yer vision, and I agree, it would bring him closer to them, and I like that.
The humming coming from somewhere around his shoulder helps sooth the Nightmare Guardian's nerves until at last he lets out a long sigh. His eyes open and at first all he can see is that mass of red hair tucked up near his chin. Even if he can not see his face Seishu knows his counterpart has been crying. Looking around the room he spots a few scorch marks and mentally smack himself. The calming effects of the pain killer keeps him from getting too upset with himself and his gaze wanders over to the doctor hovering at the edge of his bed. Not sure what else to say he murmurs softly, “What's the good news Doc?” Enasi stills completely before sitting up, looking down at Seishu with a tear streaked face. Crios rolls his eyes and smiles slightly however more conversation is interrupted by a knock at the door. As Crios walks over to answer it Seishu lifts a hand and touches Enasi's cheek gently.

"One. . . One didn't make it. Mika died. . ."

Those words make Seishu's blood run cold and he watches helplessly as Enasi races from the room. Crios moves to close the door however he pauses as he notices something odd happening around Seishu's bed.

The guardian sits up, erecting a bubble of negative energy around his bed that not even Harper could get through should he try his hardest. Even as he watches, his eyes unable to move from the sight, Crios steps away from the door and those outside look in. Rue is the first to move in closer, no one moving to stop him. Seishu pulls off his sweat soaked shirt, his pale skin sticking out from behind the veil of black energy. They watch at the thumbnail on his right hand grows longer, then a moment later most look away as he slices deep into his chest with it. Rue watches. He watches as he draws his nail through the flesh, then sears it closed.

Soon after the veil falls, Seishu's arm falling to his side as he stares at the seared flesh. Without a word Rue crawls on to the foot of the bed and lays down with his head on Seishu's leg. Inui crawls on moment later, still hiccuping. Crios makes his way back to the side of the bed, now intent on a full work-up. His hands however stay away from the new wound. He is a bit torn, knowing that Seishu will want to keep it, however he worries that the sight of it may hurt his lord even more. Harper does not blame Seishu, he too knowing there is no way the guardian did such a thing willingly, however he takes his place along the wall none the less, unable to look at Seishu directly. The Siblings stay outside the room, on guard as they feel the rest of the staff coming back to their stations. They know there is going to be some bad fall-out from this, and they do not feel it is their place to be in the room at the moment.

Seishu's mind is blank as Crios examines him and he doesn't even respond as Rasha hops up on to the bed in feline form. The little ones and Rasha had left their parcels in the hall, too worried about the guardians to think about bringing them in. Rasha crawls carefully on to Seishu's lap, eyeing the smoldering flesh. Ever so carefully he places his paws on Seishu's stomach and leans up to sniff at the wound. After a few seconds he begins lapping at it soothingly, his tongue not having those barbs that most felines have. Seishu remains out of it however and after he's sure it's clean Rasha settles back down, curling into a little sad ball of fur on the guardian's lap.
