Rei is given but a few moments of silence before the prince's reply, and in those brief seconds he lets his magic trickle out, one more seeking out anyone who would dare threaten intrusion upon the pair relaxing by the stream side. However he finds none and once more he finds himself listening intently to what the young man has to say. 'That is a fine practice, especially for one in his position. In the books, the good kinds rules with grace, but the great one rules with an ear to his people. As long as he keeps listening, perhaps he will not end up as one of the evil kings from the story books'

His arm falls away from his eyes in time to see the prince looking out across the field and for a brief moment he follows the young man’s gaze. However not a breath later he once more feels eye upon him and he returns the prince's gaze. As he speaks on his father’s probable attitude toward unicorns Rei nods softly. While not understand the sentiment, he has observed it often enough in those of the upper crust of society to know that assessment is most likely accurate. 'For humans, it is not enough for there to be a beautiful thing they can drink in with their eyes, they must hold it in hand or else it seems to have naught but envy from the beholder. I wonder if this is true of all humans, or simply most. I can not claim to have met them all, nor have I met many from other parts of the world, so I will reserve judgment in this for now'

When the subject turns to flowers Rei readies himself to to reply however the subject swiftly shift to the Alish, then to the war, and he is unsure of what to say. However after a moment the prince discards the thoughts and Rei is at a complete loss as to what to say. He nods slightly, his head still against the grass, when the prince speaks of returning to the palace, wondering at how there could be a wrong way to sit in a padded chair. Lifting his feet swiftly from the water the spray drips across his body as he does a back roll on to his feet. Shaking the little bits of grass from his hair he lets his feet dry while he re-ties the bandanna and pulls on his hat.

After flopping back down to pull on his stockings and boots Rei once more looks to the prince, a vaguely curious expression on his face. He holds his tongue for now though, wanting to get under way. The young noble's comment about upsetting his father strikes a cord with the fae, recalling what happened when he was not where he should be. This thought brings the first question to his mind he feels intent on asking. However he keeps silent until they are back well under the trees. Glancing up at a nest near the upper branches he lets out a soft sigh before looking to the prince. “Would you mind answering a query from me? I find you interesting as well, which is why you still draw breath, and would like to learn more of you.” He does not mean the statement as a threat, it is simply how Rei's mind works to bring words to his lips.
Kuro arms freeze mid wave in his hearing and his head snaps around to stare at the wall of the barn. 'Tell me I did not hear that' Abandoning his post he literally hops over the four foot wall into the stall with the pigs to listen better. I low whine leaves his throat ah he does not hear Aoba reply, only more words to convince him issuing from the priest's mouth. A low growl issues from him and on instinct he charges back out of the stall and heads for the front entrance. 'That damnable thing. Trying to take away what is mine, I'll ring his neck! My Little Mouse can't fault me for taking one out, can he?' Thoughts of Aoba slow his storming feet until at last he half stumbles to the large barn entrance.

Leaning against the doorway, mostly out of sight, he gazes at Aoba and the Priest herding the turkeys off the truck and around the barn. 'He's mine, but I can't. . . I can't keep him here against his will. That would destroy what attracts me to him. It would crush that little bit of him that I want to stay as it is. . .' Father Gerard pauses, feeling those eyes on him. He turns to find the oddest sight thus far in all his time around Aoba and Kuro. The demon does not realize the faint pleading in his eyes as he stares at the priest, a small part of him begging the other not to take his precious thing away. The moment is brief, the turkeys threatening to run off in all directions as he pauses to stare at demon gazing out of the barn at him.

Turning back to the birds Father Gerard shakes his head, unable to quite believe what he had just witnessed. 'It was almost as if he was begging me to leave Aoba with him. To stop trying to tempt him away from this place. A fallen angel is quite the prize, but if he really wants Aoba to stay, why did he not just kill me, or at least look furious at whatever he overheard?' Gerard shakes his head again, ushering the turkeys through the gate. His eyes snap up as he notices Aoba running off and his stomach drops as he spots him running close to the other demon. 'How can I not try and take him from here. That one looks like it would like nothing more than to eat Aoba's flesh right off his bones, and the evil pouring from him is so potent. . .'

Once again the Father is quite confused, wondering why he is second guessing himself at all. Demons are evil, and Aoba is not. He is trying to save a lost soul, not tear someone from their loved ones. 'Well, I'm not entirely sure he does not love that demon, Kuro, however even if that be the case, he is a demon and God's love would quickly erase whatever fondness the angel may harbor for it' He watches the exchange between the angel and the demon on the porch, doubt once more entering his mind, however as Aoba comes over with the last stray turkey he lets out a sigh and pulls the relatively large sack of seeds in packages from where he'd hooked it on his belt earlier.

Meanwhile Kuro has set about helping the truckers unload a weeks worth of feed from the truck. While the sheep and cows can graze, the rest of the animals rely on other sources of food. Kuro absentmindedly drags barrels far too large for a 'man' his size down into the feed closet, his mind on things other than his task. The barrels are color coded for easy identification and one of the truckers hand him a piece of paper on a clipboard to keep track of which color equals what. He thanks him softly and strings the clipboard up the inside of the feed room door before closing it. 'If he decides to leave with the priest, I could take over the farm and visit him whenever I want. After all, no matter the distance, I can get to anywhere on earth in less time than it takes to tear the wings off a bat'

With this thought in mind he finally manages to lift his spirits. The thought of going to a church everyday sounds highly unappealing, however he would be more than willing to do so if it meant having Aoba at his side each and every day. 'And even after Dani leaves, which he will one day once dad sends a “rescue”, I can always snare another demon to defend things. Once no one will care much about, but still strong enough to keep things safe' He is down right smiling when he comes around the barn and into Aoba's line of sight. 'And this doesn't mean I can't so some things to make the priest stealing him away more difficult'

Raising a hand in greeting he glances past the bodies towards the now wandering hens, scratching at the dirt to see what's what. 'We should feed everyone soon. We also need to come up with a feeding schedule. I bet Dani will get a kick out of feeding them eventually' He chuckles at the image of his big brother throwing corn for the chickens before coming to a stop next to Aoba. Ruffling the back of his hair gently he fills the angel in on the status of the barn. “All the animals are in, the feed in place. It should last about a week, but before it runs out we'll need to buy more. There's one female cow ready to give birth any time, and out pig population is going to double once the piglets get a little bit bigger!” He speaks with a jovial note in his voice, his love for the little critters hard to hide around so many animals.
A long sigh finds it's way out of Seishu's lips as Enasi nods in agreement. 'Well, at least he agrees that it's not entirely my fault that things go to hell so often' His mind falls silent moments later as he listens to what his counterpart has to say. His head comes up, resting his chin on Enasi's shoulder so he can listen better. He can not suppress a chuckle at Enasi suggesting a breaking of the rules. “Mister prim, proper, and made of pure goodness, wants to do something naughty. I like. . . .” His voice trails off and he gives the juncture where Enasi's neck meets his shoulders a light kiss.

He openly whines when the Dream Guardian pulls away from him moment later and he begins pouting at the loss of contact. With a huff he wanders over to the wall for something to lean against while he waits. He pauses however and adopts a slightly wicked grin. While Enasi begins washing his body Seishu picks up the shampoo bottle and squirts some into his hand. Wandering in close he once more wraps an arm around Enasi's body but this time he uses the motion to pull him away from the spray a bit. Leaning down he whispers softly directly into Enasi's ear, “My turn.”

Taking his arm from around the other guardian's waist he tilts the smaller male's head back so the soap does not get in his eyes. As he begins lathering that red hair up with the fragrant yet not overpowering shampoo Seishu giggles softly. “You now smell like pie. . .I wonder how long until I can eat you up. . .” He runs his fingers over and over through those burgundy locks, his sharp nails scraping sensually across his scalp as he works the soap in deep.

“Come on Spike, it's okay now, you can come out. . .” Rue speaks softly, trying to coax the scorpion out from under the bed. It had scuttled under there when no one was looking, some time before the fight between Enasi and Seishu, and now with a great number of snaps from it's claws, it refuses to come out.

From the back wall Rasha calls out, “Let me handle this squirt!” Rue looks over as the trickster poofs into animal form and trots over to the spot where Rue is holding up the bed skirt. Rue bids him to be careful, but with a wave of his tail he vanishes into the darkness. The rest of the room watches with a mix of curiosity and exasperation at the vaguely arrogant display.
Oki day, have fun!
Amano watches with a keen interest as Illiendi sets out the food and wine, his curiosity piqued. However he keep his question to himself even as more and more string to his mind as the moments go on, trusting the demon to tell him what he needs to know for now. As he pours the wine the lack of that harsh bitter smell he is use to makes him smile and give Illiendi a grateful nod. He lets out a faint hum, looking over everything when the demon steps back. Ignoring a few rude mumblings from his brothers and the subsequent hushing from his mother Amano gives an approving nod and faint thanks for the meal before his mother speaks up as to her wish to try the wine.

As Illiendi caters to the rest of his present family the youngest takes in every aspect of the main course before leaning in to begin consuming it. The flavor pulls a very soft noise from him, and once again his brothers make rather uncouth jokes about it. He ignores them completely without trying, his complete focus on the meal. His mother does not even try to engage him in conversation, it being obvious to her eyes how much his focus is on the well prepared dish. Soon after Illiendi leaves the servants come in with the rest of the family's desserts. Amano's mother looks to the servant coming around the table and waves them off. “Illiendi is preparing me a dessert. Feel free to share mine amongst the staff.” The servant looks first to the chocolate pudding cake, topped with a flower made of a sliced strawberry, then to his mistress, then with a small bow returns to the kitchen with the small cake.

No one speaks for a while as the children enjoy the food before them, and the mother pours herself another glass of wine. Scooping up the last few bites Amano sits back with a content smile. His mother looks to him with an eyebrow raised in curiosity. “How was your meal dear?” He can tell from her slightly flighty tone that the glasses of wine she's had with the meal were not the first glasses she's had that day.

With a faint chuckle he nods to the now empty plate. “As with all of his dishes, it was exquisite mother. Perhaps you could have him make you a few one of these nights.” She titters softly, her gaze going to the kitchen door as it once more opens and Illiendi enters with the same grace and efficiency he seems to come by naturally as most do breathing. Cocking his head slightly at the question Amano glances to his brothers before murmuring softly, “I will manage on my own, thank you.” He knows he is thanking 'the help' far more often than is warranted, and in many cases, than is expected, however he can not help his polite nature, feeling that everyone deserves the same level of gratitude for their actions no matter their station.

When Illiendi re-appears Amano can not repress a light 'Ahhh' at the sight of the red peacocks. As Illiendi serves first him then his mother the young noble smiles wide, admiring the sight right up until it becomes nothing more than a regular napkin once more. He almost feels a little put out by the unfurling of such a fantastic creation, however his attention then turns to his dessert and his curiosity about the dish dispels his disappointment. He leans in, inhaling the smell of it deeply before taking up his spoon. As Illiendi falls back to his place back and tot he side of his chair Amano's older brothers grow tired of watching the display and excuse themselves from the table. As their mother waves them off they offer brief bows to her, out of habit, before heading off to their rooms to quickly freshen up before heading out.

A couple of the staff exit the kitchen, clearing away the boys' messes. They are not as graceful or well organized as Illiendi, however it is clear that they are at least competent at their jobs. Amano does not see the occasional less than polite look they give to Illiendi, only growing more frequent as his mother proclaims passionately how much she adores the dessert. Never the most delicate of an eater it takes Amano only a handful of bites to down the delightful dish, and as he sits back with a sigh he once more thanks Illendi for the meal and offers him a smile. Looking to Chesia he offers his mother a little bow an excuses himself.

Quite sure at this point that Illiendi has his own plans for the evening Amano looks him in the eyes for a few seconds before giving him a slight nod and walking out of the hall. Once out of sight, or more precisely, out of Illiendi's sight, Amano lets out a long sigh and all but races up to the bathroom. From the moment he mentioned the bath Amano has been itching to get in and scrub the grime of the prior evening's events off of his body. He slips inside the bathroom just before Burtus comes out of his room and as a precaution Amano locks to door. 'Do not need one of them slipping in for a little “fun” before they head out to go wenching' Sticking his tongue out is distaste Amano makes his way towards the delightful smell coming off of the bath water.

At the sight that greets his eyes as he approaches the tub he lets out a faint groan and his entire body slouches. “I really need this. . .” he murmurs softly before making his way over to the clothes hamper. Quickly stripping down, flinching slightly when his clothing scrapes over the still rather sensitive brand, the young man dumps his clothing unceremoniously into the wicker basket before tottering over to the bath. He tries not to look down at the filth currently littering his body as he tests the water with a hand. 'Hot, but not scalding. He really is a perfect manservant' Another groan leaves his body as he slowly climbs in, settling his body down into the scented water. He has to bite his lip against crying out as the hot water strikes his brand, however he bares through the pain and eventually is able to relax into the soothing water completely.
Alexi openly giggles at what the vampire has to say about him being mad, but other than that lets him speak without interrupting him. His smile widens, his heart leaping as the bound male agrees to take the potion, the comment about bleeding all over his room all but dismissed for a short time. Grabbing the vial he'd placed on the nightstand Alexi rolls right off the bed, lamenting only for a moment the sight of a small pool of his own blood on his favorite coverlet. 'I should have Joseph changing my sheets while I'm eating dinner. . .' At the thought of his head slave Alexi freezes mid step, most likely looking quite odd, however after a moment he unfreezes and finishes his trip to the bookshelf.

Setting it down where the other can reach it, if he stretches, he steps back quickly, just in case, before wandering over to his own bedside table to dig out his ever infuriating cellphone. “We shall keep it right there, what do you say? That way you can keep an eye on it.” He smiles over his shoulder before sitting against the edge of his bed, cellphone in hand. He shares at it hard for several seconds before flipping it open and seeking out Joseph's number. 'Ah, if he weren't my hard broken slave, he'd kill me for what I just did, heh'

Once he finds the number he has the phone dial and brings the little device up to his ear. Looking over at Erik with a lopsided smirk he chuckles. “Joseph is going to take off my head for this. . .He hates it when I do stupid things, and in his eyes, this definitely will count.” When the ringing stops Alexi's attention goes to the voice at the other end, his gaze shifting over to the wall. After the head slave's greeting Alexi smiles into the phone. “Hello Joseph. I hope this evening finds you well. First off, do not freak out, second, I need you to bring a first aid kit to my room, and thirdly, I need to also to bring the kit for drawing my blood. I can tell you the rest after you get here. Thank you Joseph!” He does not give the head slave time to answer, knowing he will bring the stuff post haste.

Snapping the phone shut he once more turns to Erik with a smile and tilts his head to the side. His mind once more falls back on the bound male thinking him crazy and he chuckles softly. “I am very likely a little mad my dear sir. Madness runs in my family, at least through my father's line, but despite my insanity, or maybe even because of it, I am one of the richest and most successful men in the world, and have the power to do the one great thing you have tried your entire life, or near to it, to accomplish. If my lack of sanity is a part of all that, I count it a blessing.” Stretching his arms over his head, he props them up behind his head, trying to keep the wound above his heart. Clamps down on the wound with his other hand and offers up an apologetic smile. “I am not sure how this bleeding affects you now that you have eaten, but if it is bothersome, I do apologize.”
LMAO

Not about what you said, but about this post I'm about to write. It just, makes me laugh :P
Glad for the priest moving away fro him Kuro turns his attention on to the angel, offering up a smile as he seems to re-charge. When presented with the little chicks his smile widens, he too poking a finger in to play with them. They scrabble around and he chuckles at them before he pulls his finger back, allowing Aoba to wander off with the cage. He catches Gerard's eye at the priest looks to him. Following the little nod he tilts his head at the sight of the pig. 'Oh, this should be amusing' As the truckers lead the cows out by hand Kuro drops the gate on the section holding pigs and he gives out a whistle. Like little cares on a crowded highway the four pigs take to the ramp and begin wandering about. Kuro opens the pen and with a few more whistles and arm waving he manages to get all but one in the pen.

The last one stays near the truck and won't budge. Wandering over, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out just why she won't follow instruction. 'They brought us piglets!' A little giddy Kuro ignores the fact that he should not be able to physically lift that many baby pigs alone and with a little 'Hup' picks up the crate of seven little piglets and wanders over to the barn. The mama follows him as he makes his way back to a larger stall. He smiles at the cows, placed in individual stalls for now, until they can knock down a few walls so they can all share one as they are use to. 'This must have been a horse ranch for the most part before' Kuro muses, setting the crate down in the large stall and opening it. Once mama is in the stall he closes it and pulls the piglets from the crate, setting them on the floor to scamper around.

Giggling once more at the little cloppers he picks up the crate and heads out of the barn. He has to duck to the side to avoid being trampled by the small herd of little black faced sheep, but he does not mind the near trampling. He reaches out, petting a few as the drivers heard them in. He heads to the back of the barn to help herd them, four to a stall for now. Kuro supposes they could have been put in the one other large area, a pen rather than a stall, however when he looks over towards it he notices a very pregnant cow taking up the space. 'That's a good a reason as any not to put the sheep in there. . .' Form outside he can hear Aoba and the priest dealing with the fowl, Dani barking something out once in a while, however he lets them be for now, wanting Aoba to have some time to himself with someone who understands him better, or so one would suppose.
As he comes to the end of the song Seishu lets his hands linger around Enasi's waist. A part of him wants very much to use a nice fun activity to brush the unpleasantness from his mind, however moments later Enasi moves around to return the favor. The feeling of those slick hands sliding across his back makes him purr happily, his own hands idly cleaning his hair under the spray of steamy water. 'Well this is nice. Maybe our next little trip into Our World I can come up with something. . .' He shakes his head lightly, not wanting to think that far ahead at the moment. For all he knows Enasi may have forgiven him, but changed his personal feelings for the Nightmare Guardian.

'He said as such, and he has as of yet to say anything about. . .He said he didn't mean to say them. . . That says nothing to whether or not they were his true feeling. He just said he regrets saying them. . .' He lets out a long sigh, rolling his shoulders slightly. “He got a lot of the crap off my face, but it's going to take a deep scrubbing to get it out of my hair.” He peeks over his shoulder, a playful half smile on his lips. “You'll help me with that, won't you?” He giggles, not really caring about the answer. The fact that he can bring himself to act playful comforts him greatly. When Enasi is finished Seishu murmurs a thank you before stepping under the spray to wash away the soap.

His muscles coil and flex beneath his skin as he shifts around, making sure all to soap is gone before dropping his hair behind him once more. He exerts a tiny bit of magic to detangle his hair, turning it one more into a untangles curtain covering his back. After a few silent seconds he turns, looking deep into Enasi's eyes. He refuses to presume too much too quickly so despite his strong desire to try and kiss away the remaining pain behind his counterpart's eyes he instead moves forward slowly, slipping once more around behind him and begins singing softly.

His hands come up to rest once more on Enasi's waits, his long fingers sliding down to brush against the front of his hips. The song seems to surround them, the tile providing perfect acoustics. Careful to keep them high, Seishu's hands slide across Enasi's midsection. He tries to keep the touch as innocent as possible, but as he shifts in closer, pulling Enasi against him, he knows there is no hiding how his body is responding at the moment. Seishu is a very physical person, his passions linked closely to his emotions, so he can not help how that pure joy and divine feeling of having his counterpart in his grasp makes him respond.

His hands come to rest on opposite sides of Enasi's waist, his arms crossed in the front, however he simply continues to swing, his body swaying gently, subsequently causing the body in his arms to sway as well. When at last the song ends his body continues moving, his head coming to rest on the smaller male's right shoulder. In a soft voice, just loud enough to be heard over the hiss of the shower, he murmurs, “Why does hell have to first knock us together, then yo-yo us back and forth like some sort of cruel game? Unfair doesn't even cover how assholic fate is treating us. . .”
Tatsuki is no master of human behavior, however even a blind alien could tell that there was something wrong. The look in the young innkeeper's eyes, the curt movements, all of this screamed that there is something for which the shinigami may very well have been responsible for, and for the life of him, he can not figure it out. His brows furrow in confusion and out of pure instinct his mind slips inside that of the man before him. He does not go far, catching himself quickly, however the feelings of disappointment and shame pulsate right at the forefront of his mind.

'Why would he feel such things towards me like this? Have I done something to offend him? I thought last night that we had fun, and he dismissed my trespass. . .Perhaps, after a night to think about it. . . .However, the resentment I feel is not for a wrong. He is. . . Disappointed about something. Ad ashamed of said disappointment. Perhaps my sudden leaving? Did he want me to stay?' Tatsuki refrains from diving once more into the young man's mind, instead murmuring, “I understand.” and focusing on his meal. He watches as the innkeeper swiftly vanishes out of the room, tracking his movements until he ends up in the kitchen.

'I feel I must speak with him, however he said he was busy. Though I sense that is not entirely the truth. He is avoiding me' The realization strikes Tatsuki a little harder than he thought it would and for several minutes he simply continues eating, the process slow but steady. The sister try to catch his eye, but they could have been dull wallpaper for all the attention he paid them. He is lost deep in thought, but as if snapping out of a trance he suddenly stands, making his way towards the kitchen.

He comes in to find Shigetoshi cleaning what appears to be an already clean kitchen. He does not address the innkeeper right away, instead watching him work. He stands in the doorway until he is noticed, and when that happens he offers no expression to indicate his intentions. He does not want to have a misunderstanding. Instead he just looks into the young man's eyes, trying to find a place to start, seeking something that will indicate what he did to deserve the way Shigetoshi is acting. Without using his powers, there is little he can glean this way however, s he decides to speak.

“I am sorry for anything I have done to offend you. I am no great master of social interactions, and I fear I have missed something. Some little, or not so little, hint from you that has left you upset, and I confused. I may travel a lot, but the differences in cultures has all but destroyed my understanding of subtlety, so if I have done or not done something to upset you, I fear you must tell me what it is, or I will not understand what it is, or how to fix it.” He looks to the floor, his arms crossing as he kicks one of his legs a little, scuffing his foot on the floor. “I really enjoy talking to you. Far more that I have with anyone for a long time, and I would be greatly saddened if I lose that with you over something stupid I did. . .” He lets out a light huff and looks to Shigetoshi, a faintly sad look in his eyes.
