Alexi hums softly, rolling the name around in his mind. He smiles slightly at the faint hint of pride in the man's voice at announcing his title along with it. 'Not mean anything? Not if I can help it. If I have my way, not only will it mean exactly what it use to, but it will mean so much more in annals of history' He chuckles lightly to himself, cut short by a faint throb in his wrist. His eyes tail back to the vampire and he tilts his head tot he side in worry.

A part of him would love to loose him from his chains, but while he no longer fears for his life, if his plan is to be successful, Erik can not be allowed to leave his room. He has great respect for the male, and trust, as much as he can afford, but there is little he can do against what little reason, it's voice very quite at times, that still resides in his slowly fading mind. He rolls his head from side to side, trying to come up with a polite way to tell him it's not so much a mater of trust but as one of practicality, when suddenly the rocking stops, his head snapping to a stop in an upright position.

'I am not sure this will be an improvement, but I can at least make the offer. It will be a little more freedom, but he will still, essentially, be a prisoner' He hums at the thought, but eventually nods and looks to Erik with a soft apologetic smile. I can not risk you leaving the room. Forgive me that, however I can offer you a bit more freedom.” He looks to Joseph with a smile. “You recall those new collars, the ones that keep slaves in a designated area? I have a box of them in the basement.” Look back to the bound man he once again looks apologetic. “It may be more on the head insulting, but if Joseph sets up the buffers on all the windows and both doors into the hall, you would be free to walk around the room and the bathroom.”

His free hand comes up to rub at his temples, his mind screaming at him to sleep so he can recover. “The collars are humane, in their own way. They keep a slave for exiting an area, but the magic in them simply pushes them back. It does not shock them or anything. As long as Joseph covers the exits properly, I have no problem with you wandering around in here. . .I trust you at your word that you will try and comply with my plan.” His voice grows quieter as he speaks, slight pauses between each sentence.

“I would. . .I would have Joseph hold on to the remote, so you do not have to feel like I have control of you, and since the manual functions only work at close range, he would not be able to do anything to you unless he is in the room with you.” His head falls but he manages a faint smile that both vampires would be able to see. “Joseph hates slavery as much if not more than I do, so I do not think you have much to fear with him at the controls. . .If you do not mind the collar idea, Joseph will set it up tonight. . .” He falls silent, his fist balling up on his forehead. He does not like the feeling of his wits slipping away from him.
Well, I think there will be a few vampires in the town that are passing through, like to female from before, who will be heading to the estate of someone involved in what's going on, but our characters will lose them. I see. . .Rumors flying about town about something strange going on in a town to the north, and then that would be the next location to check, since we lost the vampires we thought may be involved. I can see, maybe, another abandoned newborn at some point in the future, maybe even in that town to the north.

But those are just my ideas. I wanna hear yours too :P If you feel the RP needs direction, you can set it on a path too :P Like my introducing the Wahru, as something to play with later and to give us more beings to control :P
Popping the barrel's lid so it will be easy enough to just scoop out the feed, Kuro reminds himself to set up something in the kitchen for them to throw scraps into. 'Pigs do well with organic scraps, as I recall, and when we actually start cooking, they will be some fine treats for the little oinkers' He spares the little angel a glance as he takes hold of the barrel and helps him work it over to the stall with the mama and piglets in it. He opens his mouth, ready to tell him that in this case they should pile it all in one spot so the little ones don't end up scattering it too badly, when the sudden light pressure on his cheek snaps his jaw shut with a snap.

A low purr starts up in his throat involuntarily at the faint show of affection, and he almost misses what the angel says. He catches it however and lets out a sift chuckle. “I care for you as much as one can who has no heart.” He hums softly, not thinking twice about his statement. Reaching out he ruffles the boy's hair before pointing at the front of the stall. “We should pile it up so that the piglets don’t end up running through it and scattering it everywhere.” As they begin feeding mama Dani comes back. Collapsing on a patch of grass he rolls around for a few seconds, the happiness inherent in a re-charge, much like a full stomach, evident on his face.

However he quickly rises to his feet and stares at the turkey running loose behind the fenced in area and with a low growl he chuckles. With a few quick flaps he rushes over tot he open barn door. His claws sink into the wood just above the opening so he's dangling in the doorway, looking in. He spots his brother and the angel in the back right corner, dumping something over the side of a stall. Not really interest in whatever they are up to he calls out in a tone reminiscent of a kid on their way out the door, asking permission to go out, but with clearly no real intention of listening whatever the parent says, “I'm gonna go play with the bigger birds!” Before there an be any objection, he's off.

Kuro reaches out, patting Aoba on the back. “He can't hurt them, he's literally just going to chase them about. It will be a good bonding experience for him.” He smiles warmly. “However if you're really worried you can go watch him. I got the feed, I can carry it out without a problem.” Outside Dani lands In the fowl pen, a few chickens have ventured through the run over to close to the turkey hut to check it out, but scatter as the demon lands. He doesn't pay them any mind, the bigger birds the ones he's interested in. They are small enough to be fun, but large enough that it would be hard to accidentally kill them. He makes sure no chicks are around before taking off after his first target.
The Nightmare Guardian notices everybody primed and ready to go and lets out a small sigh. Inui watches with rapt fascination as Seishu snaps his jaws together, for the first time noticing Seishu's fangs. He knew that Enasi had them, the guardian smiling often, however somehow the Nightmare Guardians look more impressive as with a few quick bites he shreds the meat to ribbons and swallows the pieces whole. Seishu notices the little minion staring at his mouth and, rightly so, makes a guess as to what has his little Gem so interested.

Carefully he turns slightly to face the minion a little better, Inui sitting up a bit with a faint flush on his cheeks at suddenly being the center of his new guardian’s attention. He suppresses a little jump when Seishu takes his chin in hand and signals for him to open his mouth. Pulling his lips back a bit so the guardian can see his teeth Inui flushes deeper at the close scrutiny. Seishu looks over Inui's fangs, realizing that because of there being not real need for them, they have receded and dulled a bit. With a smirk he brings up his thumb and forefinger, exerting a miniscule amount of energy to restore them to their proper length and sharpness.

“There. You may be biting yourself for a while, but now they are as they should be.” Seishu smiles wide, showing off his own fangs. The flush remains but Inui giggles happily as his tongue comes out to run across his now fierce looking teeth. Rasha steps forward for a better look, before yawning to show off his own. Crios, who had watches the entire display, can not help but run his tongue over his own fangs before shaking his head.

“You know, he's going to be cutting up his mouth for a while, but you still did it?” The disapproving glare from the doctor is met with a still wide smile.

“Yes indeed my dear Doc, because until he's converted over, you'll still be able to treat him, and he look so much like he wanted fangs of his own. . .” Seishu slides from the bed as he speaks, Spike scuttling off to stay behind and Rasha jumping down into human form so as to be a better guard. Inui in the other hand slides off right next to Seishu, hiding his face as Rue rushes over to see what Seishu had done. The Nightmare Guardian reaches over to his counterpart, wanting to walk out with him, and Inui is forced to show off his fangs to the overly eager fairy. Seishu chuckles at this, his arm sliding across Enasi's back to settle comfortable on his hip.

Rue is not distracted for long and after literally playing with the sharpened teeth a bit, much to the pleasant discomfort of Inui, he darts out past the guardians into the hallway to wait right next to the portal. Harper stands in the doorway and as they pass he whispers, “Be careful Lord Enasi, Night. Come back in one piece.” Seishu reaches up and pats Harper on the head in a slightly condescending manner, and the general returns the pat with a kick of his own. Neither really minds, and Seishu feels he got the better part of the deal, the kick giving him an excuse to hold more tightly to the man whose hip's he grabbing.
I'm sure I will find your work enjoyable :P *Giggles* I'm better with the "Mountains and Valleys" and it looking like a world :P
Hmmm. . . . Interesting. Amano offered quite openly for Illiendi to share his bed. Where did Amano say he found such things distasteful?
Amano watches the demon with a curious smile as he lights the hearth. He contemplates telling him there is not need, however he decides better of it. 'Illiendi does what he does for reasons I may not yet understand, and I shall let him do such, unhindered, when I can' He hums softly, passing behind Illiendi on his way over to the desk to light the lamp waiting there. He slows only slightly in his trek when the offer to clean the mess before it is seen comes up, but holds back his reply until he has the lamp lit. “I spend my days outside the city much as of late, and as such, this shall not be the first time they have had to clean up after my misadventures. They should suspect nothing out of the ordinary, so we should leave them to it. You and I have more important matters to attend to I believe.”

Turning up the lamp to add to the light already flooding his room from the flame in the fireplace Amano turns to look at the demon as he speaks once more. He meets the other man's eyes and nods in agreement to them having planning to do. He listens intently to the list of everything they have yet to accomplish before they head out, his head tilted down slightly. That is until the subject of his mother comes up. Even as the demon goes on to speak of “Silencing” his brothers, a disturbing word choice that would at most times have him more than a little on edge, Amano remains stuck on his mother.

'There is no doubt he has already done something to her. I pray there is no need for this worry rising in my chest, but, perhaps, I should make sure. After all, he is a demon, and I have no idea of his real capabilities. . .' His ears remain sharp, even as his thoughts flow distractedly in another direction, and when the other man falls silent his head comes up to address the matters stated to the best of his abilities before he brings up the most pressing matter. With a faint cough he even manages a smile at the thought of Illiendi silencing his brothers. Many vague images run through his head, childish ones. Ones that had long festered in the back of his mind, growing with each strike of each kick and each insult thrown from foul lips.

Taking a breath he tilts his head to the side. “Deal with my brothers as you see fit, I only request them not be killed, or maimed as so they can not maintain their stations. I carry no great liking for my brothers, however mother would be devastated should they suddenly lose an eye or some such.” He manages not to stutter as he speaks of his mother and with a nod he takes a step back, slipping into his desk chair with a sift sigh. Pulling open one of the drawers he takes out several sheets of parchment and his writing kit. More use to charcoal pencils, his calligraphy is not exactly the most beautiful out there, however he feels it is good enough for writing a simple list.

It crosses his mind for an instant that he is once more engaging in a task a manservant may be expected to perform, however he brushes the thought aside. 'I may have him here to wait on me hand and foot, however that is not what I wish of him. I do not wish to grow lazy just because there is someone else around to complete the task with more skill than I' And Amano has no doubt that the demon's writing skills far exceed his own, but he stand by his decision, unscrewing the cap to his inkwell and setting aside the parchment. 'If there is something more important, something that actually has to look professional, I will let him do it, no question'

Looking to Illiendi he decides to next address the issue of his sleeping accommodation before mentioning what he really wants to talk about. With a rather impassive look he says quite calmly, his distraction perhaps coloring his judgment. “As for where you sleep, I do not mind. The servant's quarters are on the floor just below me, and all the guest rooms are empty, but if you would rather stay close, I do not know how you feel about sigh things, however my bed is huge and I do not move very much in my sleep, or so I have been told by the servants.” He does not give his words a second thought before he sets down his quill and turns in his seat to properly face the demon.

He thinks a moment of how to phrase his queries and decisions before looking up into those exotic eyes and speaking his mind. “I do not know, nor do I think I want to know, though I have my suspicions, what you did to gain my mother's assent in my plans to leave, however I must ask that you say not a word, nor even threaten to do so, to my father. He is not a powerful man, but my mother is frail, and while he has had little occasion to do so, I have never seen him hold back when he feels that she has wronged him. She does not hold it against him, this apparently something to be expected in such a respected household, or so I have been told, however I personally do not approve of such actions, and will not have any part, no matter how remotely, in them coming about. Nor do I wish my mother to live in fear of such a thing coming about.”

He fights to keep his gaze up, a part of him feeling that Illiendi may actually approve of his attempt to look and sound resolved, but beside that, he really is resolved on the matter. “While a man may have as many woman as he wishes in this era, if my mother is discovered to have done anything less than be completely faithful to my father, there is nothing to protect her from his wroth.” He takes in a slow breath before continuing. “I know you tell me I need not explain, however this may prove useful to you in our travels. While I over all disapprove of the disregard for woman, it is only my mother that I am forbidding you to threaten with exposure, if that was even your intention to begin with. I do not presume to know your mind, I just wish to be cautious, leaving such things not to chance, but to certainty.” Having said his bit, Amano returns his attention to the parchment, taking up his quill and dipping it in the well as he waits for whatever comes after his little speech.
Kuro listens with a gentle, and perhaps a little sad, look in his eyes. He follows the angel's progress across the barn and can not suppress a sigh at his words. His eyes falls sadly to the ground as he tells the demon about what he already knows, having overhead it earlier in the afternoon. Though, there is no way for Aoba to know that, Kuro having not mentioned it. Kuro can still feel the pang at the thought of Aoba leaving, even if he decided that he would just go visit the angel every day, however as the boy goes on, his eyes rise up to gaze upon the smaller male's obvious stress. He takes in the faint ache that seems to be setting up around him, once pure white now dimmed by none other than himself.

He is responsible for much of this. True, it had been the angels who started it all, bringing him up to heaven and all. If they had never done that, Kurotama and he would have never met, and the angel would most likely still be fighting the system at the bottom rung of his profession. Still far beneath the notice of all those around him, with parents he never sees, and a family that never had faith in him. 'But that is not the case here' Kuro shifts, his eyes hardening for a moment as he thinks about how his dear Little Mouse was treated by those who claim to be the superior race. The more loving beings. In his mind he spits at the thought and feels a fire ignite in his belly.

'They do not deserve him. They never appreciated him, and though he was cast out, this child has lost none of his spunk. He can make a much better life for himself here, nothing holding him back save for normal mortal limitations. Here, he can become as great as any other mortal on this sphere, and even though I know he will be content with just being recognized, I'm going to make sure he's never cast aside again' He can feel himself swelling, on the outside it looking much like the world around him has grown much smaller. His determination, now evident in every line of his body, is not to be taken lightly.

This goes beyond the saving of his life, past what he owes to the angel, moving into the realm of his own wants and ambitions. He will do this, come hell or hellfire, he will not let himself fail. His ears remain open as all these thing swell inside him and as the fire finally reaches his eyes Kuro lets out a long sigh and moves in close to the smaller male. Setting the book aside the demon wraps his arm around Aoba's waist, his other coming up to take hold of the shorter male's chin, forcing his head up so he can look into his eyes. He holds the angel flush against him, the fire tempered by fondness flickering behind his gaze as he presses a soft kiss to the boy's lips.

Bringing his head back up, he smiles. “I think you fit in just perfectly right here, with me. I will not let anything happen to you, no matter the distance between us, no matter what you choose to do with this life being forced upon you. I will not leave you, I will not abandon you, and I will never, cast you away.” A faintly shy look comes to his face unbidden as he continues. “I may just be the demon who got you thrown out of your home, but I will spend the rest of my life if I have to making that up to you, with every breath I take.” His hand slides from the boy's chin up through his slightly sweaty hair, pushing it back gently with a little playful tug at the end. “They have no idea what they lost when they sent you down here, and I don't care what it takes, I will prove to you that you are better than every last one of them, even at the cost of my own life and happiness. . .” His voice trails off and the demon once more lays a kiss upon the angel, this time on his pale forehead, before pulling back slowly and fetching the pink barrel. He knows he's made some bold claims, and that Aoba may need a few minutes to a lifetime to process and/or accept them, so he remains quite for now, letting the young one think.
A collar that will keep him from leaving the room. The remote would go to Joseph, so Alexi could, in a way, further show his trust. The only setting would be to keep him in the bedroom and bathroom areas, he would not be allowed to leave past those two room. Not a shock collar, but literally he would just freeze in the doorway or window, most likely falling back into to room after a couple seconds. Since the other controls have to be manual implemented, with Joseph going about his chores, he will not be there to enact them, so, in other words, Erik COULD kill Alexi if he wanted to :P
Nope, he will not be able to feel emotions from Erik until after the second one, well, other than the ones he's already felt :P And he only needs to remain shackled for a night. . . .Unless. . . . . .Would Erik agree to something a little more liberating, even if it may be a little more. . .Symbolically humiliating?
