I'm thinking. . . . .This sister died, when her son was about 3, meaning he's been alone(the father of the boy maybe from another village and either died or doesn't know he has a son) and didn't know he had an uncle, and while no one told him he's related to Rei, he's automatically felt the family bonding without realizing what it is which is why he kept trying to talk to his uncle but the rest of the fae kept the apart, not wanting the boy to associate with a killer. *Shifty eyes* *Now has more ideas about the boy's arrival in town*
Ain't he though? *Giggles* :P
Viltez watches the small internal exchange of the other. 'I wonder if he realizes how obvious he is about somethings. At first he looked concerned, then like he had a sudden idea, and now he looks positively giddy!' He chuckles softly at the sight of his guest practically skipping along the shaded path. As they pass further and further into the forest, the sunlight has less and less chance to peek through the leaves growing thickly overhead. The sun above is bright enough the set the canopy alight with green light, however at only two hundred yards in only in vary distant patches here an there does the sun actually manage to kiss the forest floor.

Each patch of light lands upon the only wildflowers growing in the forest save for the ones that grow on trees, bushes, and tree bark, the flowers growing thick in patches of grass. A few times Viltez has come to the forest, seeking out these patches for the rare flowers growing in them. The man running the apothecary in town is no longer as young and as fit as he use to be, and he tired of sending his daughter who would take hours upon hours even if he said he needed them quickly. As such, the young beast man has become familiar with what these flowers do, his curious nature leading him to ask about them with each job he takes for the old man.

As his eyes seek out one of these patches, wondering if Aryx would be curious to learn about the rare flowers, his attention is drawn back to his guest and he can feel his heart skipping a beat. He manages to offer a wary smile of his own, his head swiveling around to look behind, then off into the woods. He chews his lip, worry evident on his face, however after a few calming breaths he feels his tail relaxing. He coughs out a light laugh. “I'm not sure about tricks, but I can at least let it out to play. . .I'm sure it will be delighted.”

As it slides slowly from around his waist Viltez realizes that the way he thinks about a part of his body must sound rather odd, seeing as people tend to have complete control over their bodies for the most part. 'I mean, I don't think about blinking or breathing, but I do it, and when something approaches my face, I flinch. That's almost the same as my tail isn't it? I don't think about it, so it just acts naturally. . . .' He lets out a long sigh, wondering what he should try doing with it. It curves up, the blade swaying back and forth, like a bird looking around, before seeming to slither through the air towards Aryx. He tries to stop it but it does not listen, coiling around the man's arm once more. He lets out a sigh. “Sorry. . . But see what I mean? How can I do tricks with t when I can't even keep it from wandering off like this. . . .” He lets out a defeated sigh. Normally Viltez has more confidence, but as the subject is the control of his tail, he's easily disappointed in himself.
While his younger brother sleeps on overhead, a dangerous criminal now free to roam his room, Mois sleeps for only a half an hour before a soft hand on his back rousts him from his uncomfortable sleep. Looking up into the smiling face for his brother's driver the elder Vandros shakes off a bit of the fog from his mind and offers a nod to the smiling slave. Coughing he stand and gives the young elf a soft look. “If you see him before I do, can you tell that pest of a brother of mine that if he doesn't start eating regular meals, I'm going to force feed him?” Uwin nods seriously before chuckling lightly and motioning for the slaves peeking out from the kitchen to clear the table. The boy may be young, but he is one who is not afraid of the Masters.

Mois moves out of the slaves' way and walks towards the garage, Uwin following silently behind him. The human glances over his shoulder, curious, but then recalls that the young elf likes to sleep in the little shack in the garage, always there and ready should Alexi need him. 'He's such a sweet kid. I wonder if he'd stay. . . .' He glances back once more, earning a curious look from the smaller male, however he ignores it, instead looking to the control device on the boy's wrist. 'Another one of my brother's -humane control- line. I wonder how much he actually makes off of those. I know that a lot of owners do not want their slave damaged like a lot of the stuff on the market does, or has the potential to do, but all that thing does is knock the slave out. It works long distance, but I don't see a lot of people wanting them. . .'

He sighs softly, earning another curious look, however Uwin knows better than to ask. 'Master Mois is a private man, he only shares with Master Alexi. I hope there is nothing bad going on between them. . .That would be the worst! They are the only family they have. . .' The little elf lets out a sigh of his own before ducking off into the shack, getting back to sleep. The kitchen staff had to wake him up to deal with Mois, knowing that if they left the plate with the half finished sandwich there too long that they would get bugs, and no one wants that.

Mois wanders all the way through the garage and out the side door. Following the path to his house he grumbles lightly at his brother's no show as he pushes the door open, growling lightly to himself as he makes his way through the smallish living area and into his bedroom. “Seriously Alexi, with your plan in place, scaring me to death and worrying me into an early grave, you could at least let me see you once a day to reassure me you're alive. . .Stupid little brother. . .” Sighing again, realizing he's doing a lot of that which makes him sigh once again, he strips down and flops on to his bed with a grunt. “Stupid Alexi. . ..Why you. . . .” Mois already knows the answer to that one, however he'd rather not admit it. Not just yet.
Watching the staring contest with mild interest Kuro follows close behind the last cow, wanting to get to his angel in case something happened. 'I trust Dani's love for his wings, but one never knows with him. . .' The pride swelling his he brother's eyes and posture makes the younger brother roll his eyes and sigh. However the following curiosity makes Kuro hang his head for a moment. 'I really must train that out of him. He does not need to apologize all the time, and if he keeps doing it to Dani, he's eventually gonna snap and try and beat it out of him' As Aoba looks over to him Kuro gives him a faint smile, noticing how he almost immediately turns away again, focusing on the animals. Pausing just long enough to wrap an arm around in from behind, kiss the angel's left ear, and whisper, “Don't apologize so much luv, you'll just confuse him. I'll explain later.” Kuro follows the cows, his arm falling back to his side after sliding across Aoba's back.

He continues ushering the animals forward, slipping back and forth a few times to keep them from turning. Meanwhile Dani slides up to stand right next to Aoba, his eyes on his little brother, a look of concentration in his eyes. “He's right you know. I don't get why you keep apologizing. I mean, I'm not so oblivious as to not realize that I go too far for such a softy as you. I mean, that's part of the reason I don't hang on earth a lot, when I slip, I draw attention, and that's bad. Papa gets upset.” He crosses his arms, turning his attention on to the angel. “So, stop saying your sorry to me, unless you actually do something stupid, and even if I say it's stupid at the time, no saying sorry unless you check with Kurotama, he at least knows what's going on most of the time and knows about interacting with things other than demons. The nerd's one saving grace.”

Giving the last cow a firm pat Kuro makes sure that all the animals are in the field before turning to look at the angel and his brother. He watches as Dani seems to make some sort of declarative and Aoba responding to him. The animal noises around him block out what exactly they said, but seeing as there seems to be no danger from the smaller demon he does not make to race back to Aoba's side. 'The more they can bond, the better. As long as I can get Dani attached to my Little Mouse even a little bit, he'll be more likely to defend him willingly and not try and connive his way through the rules to get him killed, or me for that matter'

Kuro pauses. It suddenly occurs to him that he hasn't laid down any rules concerning his own safety around his brother, but after a few seconds he shrugs. 'I can hold my own, and he'll need someone to beat on once the lesser demons give up and the greater demons begin biding their time and plotting' Running his hands through a the wool of a few sheep he makes his way over to the gate and swings it shut. Once sure it's securely in place he watches the sheep wander further out more swiftly leaving the cows to begin grazing their way along the line of the fence. Patting the gate firmly he turns and makes his way over to the other two. Smiling he brushes back his hair. “So, what we talking about?”
As the minions and dream come to a stop outside the house the guardian had vanished into Ran chuckles lightly, causing the small minion and the dream to look at him curiously. He waves a hand dismissively. “Don't worry, you'll be able to see your lover any time you want.” Rasha stares dumbfounded at the nightmare minion while Inui flushes bright red. He begins trying to stutter out an inquiry when Ran answers the question without it being asked. “What I mean is, that fairy. It's kinda obvious to anyone who's seen you two in the same vicinity for more than ten seconds that there's a definite connection between the two of you, and I'm not talking pure friendship. But that aside, about you worrying over being able to see him, or any of them really, there is no need to.”

Rasha sits up, now very curious. About two things, but he decides to address them one at a time. “What do you mean 'it's kinda obvious'? They haven't even noticed yet. I sorta thought I would have to knock them together about a dozen times before they even get an inkling.” Inui's shocked stare goes from Ran to Rasha, his blush only deepening.

Lan chuckles. “Well, it's kinda like you and Kaila, however you two are older, so it was a lot more obvious.” He pats Rasha playfully who shys away but keeps his attention on the elder. “You're a dream, and I'm not sure how much experience you've had with bonding, but. . . .Here, I'll show you.” Reaching out he gently places his hand flat over Inui's heart. In a flash a faint trail of light fires out from his chest and snakes off through the street. It's very pale, a very faint shade of yellow. Pulling his hand back, he smiles. “See, that's the thread between them. You're right, it's barely beginning to be formed, but as it grows stronger, the color will deepen, and the thread will thicken until it's a ribbon of deep vibrant red.”

Inui swallows. “You mean. . .If, right?” Rasha looks at him, a touch of concern in his eyes. “I mean, even if I feel, it doesn't mean, I mean, you know Rue, he just sees me as a friend, and he's younger than me, an-” Rasha places a paw on his lips, nodding a head toward Lan. The little minion looks up at the taller male.

Lan is shaking his head with a smile. “No, he feels the same way, even if he doesn't know it The thread would be broken if he did not feel as fond of you as you are of him, even if he doesn't know it. Case in point.” Rasha looks at Lan warily, his dream instincts telling him to flee, however he remains still as the older brother touches over his heart with a finger. He jumps as a bright orange ribbon of what looks to be flame fires out of his chest only to terminate a few feet in front of them. “Kaila, yeah, he's completely connected with you, but he's got to be one of the most oblivious guys out there. He won't figure it out til you two bone a few times then actually lay around and talk about it.” As Rasha begins purring at the thought Inui ducks his head, trying desperately not to think about the sudden visual.

Rasha stops purring a moment later. “Wait, but, it vanishes, doesn't that mean it's broken?”

Lan shakes his head. “Nah, it just went to the Nightmare Realm. It looks exactly the same fore him right now, and I bet he's confused as hell, heh.” He and his brother chuckle at the thought. However a moment later the peace is broken by a bloodcurdling scream coming from an apartment overhead. Lan and Ran just look up at the sound with patient eyes while Rasha tries to hide in Inui's hair, Inui trying to hide behind Lan. Lan pats his head absentmindedly and waits for his guardian to appear.

~*~*~*~*~

Rue looks down curiously at the pale yellow thread that appeared out of nowhere, the soft happy feeling coming from it making him smile even as it fades and he looks up to Enasi curiously.

~*~*~*~*~

Seishu emerges from the woman's dream just before she wakes with a scream, the chill of it adding to his reserves. He lets out a long sigh as her sister comes rushing into the room to calm her and he feels a calm come over him as for the first time to woman finally tells her sister the real reason why she came to stay with her. 'Men like that need to be castrated and hung on a wire above hungry rodents. . . .At the very least' He huffs, making his way out of the apartment and down the hall to his next target. He knows he can't take in too much more, but he's going to take as much as he can.

~*~*~*~*~

Inui's attention once more returns to the thread running between Rue and himself and he finds another question to ask. “So, um, can all Nightmare Minions see these threads?”

Lan shakes his head woefully. “Nah. It's my specialty. I can see them naturally, man was that confusing as a kid, and I had to train to make it so others can see it. I'm sure there’s one just like me in the Dream Realm as well, but I can't be completely positive.” He grins. “It's not only romantic lines either, I have one with my brother, a pure white of family, a deep green with my friends, and gold one with Master Seishu.” He shrugs lightly. “I have a fair few, you two have a lot less than I am use to seeing coming out of those who live in the Dream Realm.” He raises an eyebrow curiously. “While that makes sense for Gem here, why Kit has so few. . . .” His voice trails of questioningly.
Kiel smiles warmly as Zach jokes about 'having plans' or the lack of having them in this case. He wanders towards his room, glad he was able to convince the youth out of the house for the afternoon. 'It is not good for a young man like him to spend so much time alone, his only company someone older than him. I may not be much older physically, but I am most definitely more mature due to my profession'['/i] “I can't think of anything you will really need other than your drawing supplies.” he calls over his shoulder just before vanishing into his room.

Closing the door he digs into his wardrobe, setting a few stacks of clothes aside only to reveal what looks to be the wooden bottom of the structure. Making sure Zach isn't peeking in or anything he pulls on a little loos string laying along the bottom and with a little scraping noise the wood bottom pops out from it's place revealing a little compartment beneath. Setting the wood side the priest removes his strong ox and begins dialing in the combination.

Kiel trusts his kids, but after all is said and done, he knows that he can only trust them so far. While he would have no trouble helping them financially, like helping them get some classes or training for a job, only a complete fool would leave their money where a street kid could easily get a hold of it. He always keeps a few bills in his wallet, and every so often they go missing, but his little trove he always keeps hidden away unless he needs it. [i]'I only need enough to pay for the ticket and a meal, but I'm going to take a few extra bucks for those souvenirs. . .'

Popping the lid he pulls out what he needs before putting the whole thing back, checking once more to make sure no one is looking before covering it all with his pants and closing his wardrobe. Slipping back out into the main room he smiles once more at the young man before making his way over to the front door and opening it wide. “After you, Zach.” he says cheerfully, motioning the teen forward. Once he is through Kiel closes his door. He never locks it, just in case one of his street kids need to get in for a nap or a meal while he's away. 'I am glad, in part, than none have needed to stop by while I was away and had to leave Zach alone. I am not sure he's ready to be confronted by one of my little ones wondering what he's doing in my house. . .Most of my kids get along, but they also know what each other look like' He sighs softly making his way towards the archway leading to the sidewalk that will take them to the bus stop.
Rei can feel the tension rise as he speaks and for a time he wonders if he perhaps what he is asking is something that will even get an answer. As he falls silent he stops, watching the prince move to a tree, first leaning against it, then sliding down to crouch at it's base. His head tilts to the side, his curiosity mixed with a feeling that indeed he should have kept his tongue still on the subject. 'I know many humans do not feel the willingness to speak on private subjects with those they do not trust, though I did not knows this would bring about such a reaction. I simply feel I need to know so I do not kill anyone for nothing more than a due punishment. Though, I do not feel striking with a cane is a fitting punishment for any crime of a child. The chance of lasting damage far higher than how I was punished when I was in training'

He gives a slight nod as Alessandro gives him permission to check on him but remains silent as the youth continues speaking. 'I would feel more secure in my job if I were to stay in your room at night as well. Perhaps we can speak on this later. The secret passage between our two rooms could be used to keep anyone other than the two of us from finding out about it' The fae's head tilts slowly to the other side, blinking slowly at the rather extensive list of those allowed to strike him. 'I do believe my job may be harder than I thought. Seeing some of those scars, several could have injured him quite badly, and would I not be remiss in my duties if I did not stop a blow that could prove fatal?' His brow furrows further into confusions at the thought of a father not caring if his son be crippled.

'I am no master of the human animal, however that does not sound right to me. Perhaps it is my peaceful fae roots, but such an uncaring feeling towards one's own blood does not resonate right within me. Even if he has replacements sons, which I will have to look up seeing as they seem to have some claim to the throne and could likely be behind some of the assassination attempts, none of the father's I've ever actually met have acted thus about their blood' His eyes rove over the prince's stillness, the almost chilled feeling coming from the crouched human confusing him greatly, however the tense response causes Rei to hold his tongue on the new questions seeing as they need to return to the palace post haste if they are to avoid getting Alessandro in trouble.

His eyes follow the prince's movements closely as he stands, another faint nod finding it's way to his head as he is given subtle instruction not to lay hands on his family. 'He said nothing to the strikes of the others, however I will refrain least the blow look fatal or crippling' Having spent most of his life delivering such blows, or watching them be delivered, it is easy for the fae to judge such things. Despite the renewed light in the young man's eyes or the less haunted tone in his voice, it is clear to Rei's keen eyes that the prince is not fully recovered from whatever it was that overtook him there beneath the trees. As he makes the comment of suffering another lash and sleeping on his stomach Rei walks in close to the taller male and reaches up to place a hand gently but firmly over the scared back of the young man.

“Even if they excuse the actions by saying they are to aid you in becoming a good king some day, I do not find such discipline acceptable. I will not raise a hand to you family, but do not expect me to take your wounds lightly. Even if he truly believes in such foolishness, not caring for the well being of one’s brood is beyond unacceptable, no mater the society.” Letting his hand slide from Alessandro's back Rei races ahead, not wanting to waste any more time in getting back to the palace. As soon as the gray comes into his line of sight he slows slightly. He moves closer to her, looking past her to the black as he begins untying her from her from where the prince had tied her earlier. He does not think of his words to the prince, having spoken his mind, he gives them not a second thought.
I had fun. I only get to see my younger siblings once in a while, and despite the constant downer that is my stepmother, being with my sibs and Dad was great!
Yay, glad you had fun! *Claps* I had fun. I only get to see my siblings(The younger ones) at most a couple times a year, so it's always good to add more to that number :P
