Kuro can not help the playful smile that creases his lips at the sight of Aoba puffing up. 'Oh boy, now he's upset, but true to form, I bet he's not going to actually say what he's thinking. . .I can't stop finding the look so cute though. He's like an angry toad but far more adorable!' The long sigh followed by him rubbing his head however dims his mirth, a touch of true worry sparking inside. 'It's not good for you to bottle up your emotions on this plain of existence, especially if they've made parts of him more mortal I think. . .' He lets out a long sigh of his own, the amount of work piling up before him knocking the rest of his smile clear off his face, replacing it with a slightly exasperated expression. As Dani races off to the back yard Kuro moves in closer to the angel, listening to him intently while he keeps half an ear on the demon splashing around in the back yard.

Suddenly he blinks. 'Did. . . .did he just give me an order?' He perks up a bit with a smile at the thought, and no matter how he tosses the thought about, it keeps coming up as a positive thing. 'Wow, that's amazing. I didn't even have to train that into him. It's his house, and he's already setting down the rules. I guess I can look forward to a lot of baths in the future if I plan on spending any time inside' He chuckles softly and gives a little bow. “As you command, my lord.” His tone, while not entirely serious, is neither upset, nor mocking. If anything, it almost sounds genuine. He lets out a faint growl and shoves Dani right back before heading to the pump to get himself cleaned up as well. He's a bit wary about leaving those two alone, with the guarantee that Aoba is going to be touching Dani, however he leaves them none the less, resolving to clean up quickly as to not leave them alone too long.

Fenrir skips over the parts he recognizes about their flight and maneuverability along with fighting capabilities and looks instead t the parts about behavior. He glances at the mirror, spotting the taller demon moving out of sight while the smaller one plops down like a dog in front of the angel. 'I wish I could hear what they are saying. That may alleviate some of this unease. . .' His eyes go back to the book on the left, his bottom lips going between his teeth as he reads. The habit is not one he's managed to train himself out of yet.

-Demons act on base animal instincts, killing and feeding almost like wild animals, unable to practice control at the lower levels. Higher level demons will often toy with their prey, for up to several days before feeding directly on their soul, the result being the death of the human. It is easy to recognize one being corrupted by a demon by their sudden change in personal habits and either shortened tempers, or depressed demeanor.-

'This is almost fun! Not only did I get to tear into Kurotama, but I got to get all up close and personal with the toy without it freaking out! I should fight with him more often if this is the kind of treatment I'm gonna get afterwords' He chuckles, rolling his eyes. “I don't have healing powers. The brat does, but that's just because of his mother, and he sucks at them anyways.” He looks thoughtful for a moment. “Well, I can burn serious wounds shut, but, nah, it's not like Kurotama could ever give me a wound that bad, the wimp.” He chuckles, leaning back to reveal a long shallow claw mark running along his right calf. With a grin he flops to the side, putting both his legs in Aoba's lap as he lays back on the step, one arm going behind his head while the other drops to a lower step where he begins playing with the wood with his claws.

The angel lets out a sigh, watching Aoba continue to treat the demon, not really seeing either of those symptoms. But then his mind goes back to the look on his face when he's turned to the sky and spooked the man a bit. 'He seemed a bit sad then, but I couldn't really read him all that well. I was too upset by what it appeared to be to see all that well. . .' With a huff he goes back to reading. Flipping to another book, this one supposedly a guide for new Guardian Angels, he sighs as the first page shows the sign of Satan's house. The picture takes up almost the whole page, with the words “If seen, do not engage” in bright bold red script. 'No duh, but that is exactly who he's with, so not help there' Flipping the page, he begins reading.
No problem, RL always comes first and I do not begrudge my partners thinking the same way :P Have fun, if you can, and I'll be here waiting patiently, as always.
No problem, thanks for the update, I hope you life goes well, can't wait to see what happens next, and good luck and have fun on your trip!
~The Nightmare Guardian giggles softly as Enasi swiftly moves his hands off the smaller male's flesh with his own. He mumbles a complaint as he begins rolling, shifting his wing out of the way before making it vanish so Enasi doesn't have to be careful. With a flick of his wrist he brings a soft light sheet to lay across the Dream Guardian's back as he turns to look at the smaller male. He can not suppress a chuckle, slipping a hand around to pull Enasi forward for a brief kiss, before settle deeper into the pillow with a smile. “Why, that goal I made just last week I believe to make you,” He slides a hand across Enasi's bare back in that sensitive spot. “purr and growl. . .”

Rolling on to his side he props himself up on one hand while the other plays with Enasi's back and shoulders. “I would have much rather had you growl from arousal, however it ended up being from anger. . .Not ideal, but an achievement none the less. . . .Oh, I know. . . .” He grins wickedly. “I could have my next goal to make you growl from arousal. . . .Much more difficult, and I'll even have to tame myself, how fun. . . .” He chuckles warmly, sliding his hand under Enasi's shirt to tease the flesh directly.~

Rue wakes slowly, realizing the thing against his cheek is no longer breathing. His head pops up like a jack-in-the-box, his blurry vision seeking out the last member of the trio even as his hand goes to gently stroke Rasha awake. With a few soft mumbles the cat thing rolls over to look up at Rue. “What is it, Little Bite?”

The use of his nickname brings a smile to the fairy's lips, his mind clearing a bit from the amusement. Bringing up his little fists he rubs at his eyes and lets out a long yawn before replying. “Inui's gone. . .”

Rasha lifts his nose up, scenting the air. He knew Inui stood up, but he wasn't awake long enough to know he left the room. “He's, not far. Like, one hall over.” Rue nods slipping out of the bed, a curious look on his face. “Take a right. . .” Rasha murmurs before rolling on to his side. He stays there until Rue's out of the room as well, before popping up and following stealthily behind, not wanting to leave the two of them alone in case something interesting happened.

Rue slips out of the room quietly, unaware of the shadow stalking him, and as he comes around the corner and spots someone about halfway down the hall he almost walks right past seeing the mat of blond hair. However he pauses about halfway across the hall and looks once more, sensing the familiar energy. Lifting off with a faint hum of wings he drifts down the hallways, stopping a few feet short of the nightmare minion eying himself in a large mirror. “Inui?” The minion had not noticed his approach, too lost in his thoughts, so when Rue speaks he jumps slightly and whips his head around to gaze at the curious little fairy. He does not reply, a faint touch of panic somewhere deep inside him making even thought difficult as Rue stalks in closer, staring hard at his face.

“Inui, why you look like this?” The nightmare minion swallows, unsure of how to respond as he backs into the mirror under the strength of Rue's gaze. “This doesn't look right on you. Are you just playing with your illusion magic?”

Inui at last lets out a sigh, shaking his head. “N-no, Rue, I just. . . .” He gives the little fairy a slightly pained look. “P-people, other dream denizens, they always. . .They always looked at me funny, you know, with the black hair and red eyes. . .So, when I was young, I formulated an illusion to cover them up.” He turns and looks at his reflection in the mirror once more, his gaze shifting over to Rue's after a few silent moments. “As a dream minion, this is how I've always looked. I was just. . .remembering. . . .” His gaze falls to the floor and he sighs again.

Rue's head tilts this way and that, at last moving in closer and carefully tuning Inui around. How normal boisterous attitude subdued as he reaching up, running his fingers trough those blond locks. Inui blushes as Rue plays with his hair, but after a moment he shivers, the illusion dropping. His gaze comes up ever so slowly, meeting the eyes of the male a good six inches shorter than himself with slight trepidation. Rue's curious expression is tainted with concentration, his bottom lips between his teeth as his hand continues to run through now raven locks. Inui's flush deepens as Rue moves in closer, bringing their bodies almost flush against one another, Rue's free palm coming to rest on his chest.

Finally with a faint tug on his hair Rue forces Inui to look into his eyes, the fairy studying those bright rubies with such focus that Inui feels his body growing more and more tense. Finally Rue breaks into a wide grin, his arms going around Inui's neck in a tight hug. The nightmare minion is unable to move for several seconds, a pain in his chest bringing tears to his eyes for some unknown reason. However when at last he can take a breath he wraps his arms around Rue and holds him tight. Seishu had taken away most of the pain from his life, at least all the major pains, however that did not erase the memories. But here, in the hall, with the dream minion he cares about held in his arms, Inui can feel those memories fading away, if only for a short time.

Rue pulls back minutes late, a bright smile on his lips, the joy of which reflecting in his eyes. Leaning up he places a sweet kiss in Inui's cheek before once more running his fingers through that plush black hair as if it's his new addiction. Inui's flush returns full force, running across his ears and down his neck at the sudden perceived intimacies. His gaze drops, but comes back up a moment later as Rue begins speaking. “This is Inui, and Inui is Inui no matter what. Inui is a nightmare minion, and Inui is someone I love, no matter what he looks like, but this Inui, the true Inui, is the one I like best. The Inui that is what he is, and who isn't hiding away from me.”

Inui can feel his heart racing, and on impulse he leans in and gives Rue a light kiss on the lips. He immediately pulls back, afraid he'd done something wrong. However Rue seems unfazed and simple kisses new’s cheek again and pulls him into another hug. Inui returns the hug moments later, glad that even though Rue may not get how he feels, at least he's not unconsciously rejecting it.

At the corner Rasha smiles wide, his long whiskers twitching as his ears swivel this way and that, taking it all in with a warm heart and a kind smile.
As soon as Dani notices the angel is gone he chuckles. “Looks like we scared him off!”

Kuro lands a blow to his stomach, ripping a part of his clothes away. “Shows what you know, moron. He's probably getting the first aid kit to treat us when we're done. He's weird like that!” He snarls as he feels his brother's claws scrap along his collar bone and he snaps with his elongated fangs at the offending hand. He grins at the taste of blood on his tongue as he manages to clip one of Dani's fingers.

“Treat us?! What the hell is wrong with him anyways? I don't know what you did to win his trust, but he's even being nice to me! Not that I'm at all surprised since I would make a better owner than you would! I bet you don't even have a training plan yet!” Despite the intenseness in their voices their conversation in relatively quite compared to the yelps and growls permeating most of the battlefield.

Kuro slams Dani to the ground with a harsh tug and with a sharp kick to the ribs flips him over. “Nothing's wrong with him, slime, and I'll die before I let any foul piece of shit try and “Train” him, got it?” Dani is on his feet an instant later, all thought of coming up with a comeback lost in his sudden thrill of seeing such passion in his brother's gaze. The fight doesn't go on much longer after that, a sudden gust of wind slamming into them, knocking them both to the ground in a tumble of limbs. In one swift motion Kuro knocks Dani in the face once last time, keeping him from attacking Aoba after that gust of wind. Depending on the frenzy, he very likely would have taken the blast as some sort of attack. Dani bites him in response before looking over at Aoba, a near innocent look on his face. Kuro mimics the look and tilts his head to the side. “What?”

“Yeah, what you do that for?” Dani sounds a tiny bit irritated, but mostly his tone speaks of innocent confusion. Kuro rolls his eyes, knowing that Dani honestly doesn't know why Aoba would stop their bout. The smaller demon rolls over on to the black clad one and the two of them shove at each other a bit as they both stand up. Kuro growls low in his throat but does nothing to stop the motion as Dani runs his hand over one of the more free flowing wounds on his little brother's body, bringing the hand to his mouth to lap up the blood playfully. Kuro runs his tongue over his own claws, taking in a little of his older brother’s blood with a chuckle.

With a slightly sheepish smile Kuro looks up at Aoba on the porch and chuckles softly. “We're fine Little Mouse, this is what demon brothers do in situations like this. It's completely natural, and we were in no danger, I promise.” Shaking his hair out a bit, slick spots of drying blood acting almost hair grease in places, he looks over his damaged clothing and quickly begins mending it here and there. 'Man, I really liked this outfit, but I suppose I'll have to get new ones soon. . .' He lets out a sigh at the feeling of his magic now resting directly against his skin.

Sticking out his tongue Dani rushes towards the back yard. “Me first!” Kuro growls as the smaller demon rushes off to get cleaned up before presenting himself for treatment. He smiles once more towards Aoba, wondering how he's going to react.

~*~*~*~*~

Fenrir collapses against his chair, the mirror held in one hand while the other goes to his heart, trying to calm the rapid beating. His eyes remain wide as the two demons climb to their feet, the smaller one running off to the back yard moments later. 'I don't know what in the heavens is going on, but I really will lose my mind with this if I don't stop. . .Or if at least I get a bit more information. . .' The thought dawns on him suddenly and without a moment to lose he quickly wraps the mirror back up and swiftly finishes up his paperwork before racing to the library, the wrapped mirror in hand. The library in heaven is limited, for the sake of the angels and human souls living there, knowledge being one of the most corrupting forces in the universe, however Fenrir is determined to find out all he can about demons before the lack of understanding robs him of his sanity.
The demon chuckles faintly. “Ah, don't worry. He wouldn't risk his wings for just some minor fun tormenting the animals on to injury or something like that.” His hand falls back to his side and he once more feels that he missing something very important, however he can not quite find it in him to do anything more at the moment. 'Sometimes they need to work it out on their own, right? I mean, he still has many angelic qualities, however the mortal part of him may extend to his emotion too, could they not? I know in the books I've read about the human mind that there are many different kinds of minds, and he may be the kind that has to be the first to ask for help, and not be able to accept it before that. . .'

He lets out a sift huff, feeling Dani moving in closer from the direction of the house. When he lands, the babbling going ignored by the younger brother, Kuro only pays attention when Dani looks at him with the accusing glare. Looking over to Aoba he huffs then looks back to his brother. -I didn't do anything. He's just like this sometimes- He can not of course relay this silent communication so he's not sure if Dani gets it, however a moment later when he scoops op Aoba, nearly losing some of their groceries, a harsh growl escapes his lips. He lets the smaller males get a fair distance in front of him before his own wings snap out and he takes off after them.

~*~*~*~*~

Fenrir watches stunned as a second demon approaches the small angel and he can feel the urge to tell him to flee once more entering his heart, however as it seems the boy is not frightened his fear once more turns to curiosity. His heart skips a beat a moment later however as the new demon grabs Aoba without warning. 'What? I thought the other was protecting him? What, why?' His confusion goes unabated as the angel is flown through the air and dumped on a dilapidated looking porch attached to a very old looking house. What follows this makes him literally freeze in shock.

~*~*~*~*~

He brakes a few feet above the roof, vanishing his wings so he falls a good ten feet to the ground, landing with a thump but without jostling the bags too much. As soon as he's sure Aoba is steady, watching as Dani hops back with a very recognizable grin, Kuro sets the bags carefully on the porch so they won't fall off or spill their contents. As soon as he's sure they are secure the larger demon whips around and launches himself full force at his older brother. Dani had been expecting this however, and he dodges, landing a harsh blow to Kuro's back. The taller male lets out a grunt before his foot whips around and collides with the little demon's jaw.

With twin roars they begin laying into one another, looking almost like one of those cartoon clouds of dust with fists, feet, and wings popping out here and there every once in a while. Neither is really hurting the other all that much with each landed blow, however this if far from the human's definition of a friendly scuffle. Kuro can already feel blood flowing from various cuts here and there across his body from his brother's sharp talons, and he can also feel the warm liquid on his own fingers. There is no need for an exchange of words, each knowing what the fight is about, and each also knowing the point is quite moot, however the scrap allows the both of them to blow off steam. Kuro more so since it has been longer since his last fight than it has been for Dani. A whole orchestra of sounds come from the dust balls as they roll around, each landing only a few actual blows ever few seconds.
~Seishu growls softly as Enasi calls him cruel and begins messing with his wings. Leaning his head down a bit he places his moth over the juncture where Enasi's neck meets his body and bites down gently on the spot. He scraps his teeth across the flesh, slowly closing his mouth until he finishes with an oh so gentle nip to the soft skin. “I am not cruel, I'm mean, there's a difference.” He purrs warmly into his counterpart's ear, adding another soft nip but this time to the thin shell. He tugs his wings in a little tighter, still keeping them from blocking out the sky above as he holds gently to the body in his arms. He listens to Enasi breath for a while, the light sound making him sigh happily with the simplicity of it all.

He is here with me, but not really.

I have him, but I don't.

We will be forever, just not with one another.

And I can not think of a worse hell than the one we will. . .Well, I will at least, be in after the end of this mess.

He is pulled out of his musings by the other's question, his gaze moving to the mop of red hair to his left. The pillow beneath them has conformed perfectly so that even if Enasi lay atop the Nightmare Guardian, he is able to rest his head off to the side on the pillow itself without it feeling awkward. Seishu hums softly, looking up to the stars a moment later. “Well, the natural state of things is to be in balance, and since I am here, and Gin is acting out, the level of negative energy between the realms will be unusually high. I suppose. . . .I will have to lay low for a while, let your guys go out in force until I feel the balance returning. Meanwhile I have to make sure that our stores don't get too low, and I'll have to once more strengthen the bond between my underlings and myself. . .”

He lets out a long sigh. “I'll deal with the traitors accordingly.” He leaves that part of things at that, knowing the last thing Enasi wants to hear is how to punish something that is already well versed in the horrors of all things painful and frightening.

We may be two sides of the same coin, but my job definitely sucks more.

For both myself, and those under me.

“I'm not sure what all is messed up over there, I'll get the full reports when I get back, and if there is a battle, I will have to spend quite some time healing combatants from both sides of the conflict. . .”He chews his lip, unsure of how he is going to address the trust issues between them. “I know that those loyal to me will follow my orders, not treating those worked back into the fold any differently than I order them too, however if I want to avoid this happening again, I'm going to have to come up with some way to get them all to trust one another again. And getting nightmare denizens to trust one another will be undoubtedly one of the most difficult things I can imagine. . .After all, I am the only one they all naturally trust, since family love does not exist in the nightmare realm, and friendship is a foreign concept altogether. . .”

Seishu lets out a long whine, not wanting to think about such things right now. On impulse he reaches down and pulls Enasi's shirt up a little bit, running his long fingers carefully across his midsection as to not tickle him. “Hmmm. . . Now I need to come up with a new goal. . . .” He chuckles. “After all, I achieved my original one, though not as I wished to. . .” His fingers continue to caress Enasi, his wings moving in a little closer raising the temperature in their little cocoon.~
And! Now time for Amano to show off how much of a dorky kid he still is :P
Awww, Rei is such a nice guy :P Perhaps he can teach the prince anatomy one day :P *Wink* *Wink* Like, the sweet spot,t he perfect place to put a knife. *Grin*
He looks up curiously into the princes face, glancing at the book tossed carelessly on the table as he'd walked over. 'He seems upset. Perhaps I was not suppose to touch these tomes' Carefully he sets the book upon the table before turning to trail after the young man. He stays in close, content that the prince does not feel the need to answer him and not really expecting one at this point. He feet shift inside his boots as he tries to stretch his toes, the act of balancing the book having changed the way he walked and how he feet rested inside their unfamiliar sheaths. As he follows behind the prince, his steps are quiet, but by no means as quite as they had been when he had been working with the book. His head tilts to the side when the prince suddenly speaks and he logs away the information while taking in more about how he spoke the words than what he said.

'I think I understand now. Humans and their pride, it is easily wounded. Perhaps, by my mastering the skill easily, I somehow insulted him. . .This is why I do not hang around others, such things as wounding pride and bruising ego are far too easy' The tenseness coming off of the young man in waves makes Rei feel as if he should do something to remedy the situation. As they pass into the kitchens the sudden press of people makes him hold his tongue however, not wanting to say something to further embarrass the young man. They are not in there long and as they pass out onto the grounds, the number of people around lessening significantly, Rei moves in a little closer to the taller male.

His head tilts this way and that, but he quickly figures out just what he wants to say as the wind brushes over his body, the feel of it helping him to think. “I did not mean to insult you Alessandro, I was simply curious. I often do things to learn more about them.” He pauses for a moment, looking up at the taller male. “The ease in which I accomplished the task has more to do with my training and natural talents than anything else. When every step one takes could mean the different between life and death, one learns to walk smoothly and silently as a second nature.” He looks towards the kennels they seem to be heading towards and he continues on before they move too close and he will have to stop, least he spook the beasts.

“That man who was teaching you, was doing it wrong. He only told you when you were doing it wrong, and not how to correct yourself. I doubt he even knows how to explain it, unless he has told you before and just expects you to recall every little detail even in the middle of a lesson.” He shakes his head lightly. “Your steps were too hard, your focus on your legs and on remaining still, if I was reading your movements correctly, however that is not the best way. At least, not the best way I can see.” He looks up once more at the prince, stopping far enough from the dogs so they are not disturbed by his presence.

“To move the way you seem to want to, you need to train one part at a time, as I and others like me do. Trying to master all parts of a skill all at once. . .Often leads if not to failure, to at least the skill taking far longer to learn than it need be.” He blinks one of his slow blinks, unsure if the prince is even listening at this point, however he adds in his last two cents. “I still do not understand why this skill is necessary, however I find it interesting. If you like, I can teach it to you, the way I learned. I have never taught anyone anything before, however I think not only will it be interesting, but it may make both our lives far more interesting.” His hands slide once more into his pockets as he waits for the prince's answer. In the distance the sound of dogs barking happily draw his eyes for a moment before he looks back to the young man before him.
