I think the important part is to have fun, and that is what I intend to keep doing. I'm glad you seem to be having fun too :P Thanks for the clarification on the NPC, and as to the flexibility, I like remaining flexible too. However one must always remember, thought a willow may sway in the strong breeze, if it's roots do not remain strong, then the wind will take the tree away, and one is left with nothing. . . .(Silly little proverb I made up :P)
Oh wow, is Amano digging at himself. . . . . He is a depressing young lad when he wants to be. . . . . .
Yaaaaay. I'm working on the other RP now :P
I like asking, not assuming, just in case my partner has a great idea, and one which I would love to see realized, so often times, even if something is left open, like the case in point, I like to see if there is any particular idea behind it. Not only to see what my partner intended, if anything, but also so I can get a feel for them better. In this case, you intended it as Chall's magic, and followed that with a list of ideas. Being able to read the ideas better allows me to reply in a way that will avoid conflicting with my partner, and make for a more fun and entertaining RP :P

I too have had an RP ripped in a direction I did not see coming, however more often than not, when it comes across entirely unexpected, it has almost always been to the detriment of my and my partner's enjoyment. Then again, I am stubborn in some things that my partner does not know of until they rub it the wrong way, and quite often with many partners I have upset them by trying to put and RP back into some semblance of order after a rather rude upset. I do not accuse you of these things, you should know, however I hope you do not mind me asking, often, of some motivations you may have for one thing or another.

It is good to know how open you are on these things, and from now on I will try and relax a bit. Oh, I have not mentioned it before, but I am a stanch believer in fully sharing all NPCs, no matter who came up with them originally. This does not mean I disagree with raising an objection should I use and NPC you created in a way you do not see them acting. I believe coming up with personalities and patterns for reoccurring NPCs is a good thing and allows for free use between player. I only bring this up because you called the spirit. . ."an NPC to some extent." I need to know if this means you would not like me to use him/her(May look like Wren, but I do not assume gender based on what form a spirit decides to take least it be stated at their own form).
Hmmm, thanks for the info. . . .I think I may have missed something here, but is the "Snake" suppose to represent Chall' natural magic, or something else entirely?
Why you say you're rubbish!? You not rubbish :P So, nothing wrong with the posts before it?
No problem! I am patient :P
*Bounces around* Yer online! Yays! Hey, even if you can't reply today, could you let me know what you think? I think I may have slipped into story teller mode lately with my last few posts, and I'm not sure how it's coming across. . . .
As his mind goes over the prince's schedule his thoughts grind to a halt for several long seconds on the idea of he himself taking up the pen. However, like many things that cold replace his current profession that he, undoubtedly would be good at, the idea of actually trying at such a thing quickly falls by the wayside and silently he concludes that entertaining such thoughts are folly. He continues tumbling over the schedule, a wonder at this thing he's heard of, this, matchmaking. Somehow humans believe that they can decide what person is best for another, and this common practice among the short lived beings is all but a joke among the fae. Rei had spent many long hours reading the history in the archives, and more than once he came across the fact that many times the humans tried to bring about peace through the wedding between races, only to fail as they refused to understand the heart of a fae.

'I do not understand it myself, not that understanding it would be of use to me, however I can understand that part about the bond' He blinks a few times, looking forward to the next day a bit. He has a little gold with him and if he can, while at the book makers, he hopes to hunt down one of the books he's been seeking.

However as the smell of the meal begins permeating the room, Alessandro's open face and willing tone once more has his mind slipping from one thing to the next, and at last his mind settles on where to begin. Having decided to not give the short answer he mulls over various ways to go about his tale, until at last he feels comfortable. Carefully he removes his hat and sets it on the table beside his plate. Plucking a few bits of some sort of cut fruit cluster he downs them carefully before beginning the story of how he came to be.

“When I was not yet walking there was a raid on my home. My parents lived near the edge of the woods, not in the main village, so it was less protected, and easy target. My birth father, as I understand it, made amulets, of metal, stone, and wood, that my mother, and enchantress, would then turn into forces of magic.” His tone is a little softer than usual, but still the cool disconnected tone. The hush only to keep from being overheard by any who may pass by the prince's room. “They would trade with the outside world, none really knowing what they were, just that they made masterworks worth a king's ransom.” He takes a sip of his drink, the cool liquid soothing his throat. He didn't even realize how dry it was until now. “So, as it would so happen, a local lord wanted my birth parent's entire stock, but they would not sell.”

Rei looks to the window, his gaze distant. “So, he hired a group of assassins, thinking them able to take care of them more readily than normal guards or soldiers, and for the most part, the lord was right. As it was told to me, my father was taken out first, then my mother. A nearly clean kill with only my mother's dying eyes seeing her and her husband's killers.” His gaze, still distant, moves to Alessandro. “It was then I was discovered, crying. No doubt at the time I was able to feel their passing, those who gave me life. I know that is the way of the fae children in the village. The family ties of blood are very very strong.” He looks to the table, snagging a bit of bread to nibble on as he continues. “At first, it was to be a clean sweep, however one man realized that my life givers were not human, and imagined the potential I may harbor, and as such, took me with at their retreat.” His head tilts to the side as once more he looks to the prince. “So ended my first life, my first father, and my existence as a fae.”
Humming softly Kuro wonders if Aoba notices much of the meaning behind his words. 'He seems the type to take things at face value, and if I didn't know any better, I'd think him completely naïve. At times, he seems almost simple, but he's not. . .In fact, he is very complex, and I'm not even sure he's noticed it yet' As the last of the dishes are stacked into the rack the demon looks tot he blank space on the wall where the spice rack had hung, and with a smirk he turns and heads out the front door, drying his hands on his pants.'Ah well, we have plenty of time to work on these things. . .I may weep when he begins growing out of me, however I can see no way to stop it. He is an angel, through and through, and even his sympathy for me will one day fade to once more embrace the grace of heaven. At least,t hat's what he's here for, and all I am doing is helping that along. . .'

Kuro sighs aloud, looking back ad Dani staring at him fro the roof. I am an odd demon, no doubt, but I can not help wanting to stay here and let my dear Little Mouse be himself. So many others would want to take him, to have him, and if not consume him completely, to take him away, to lock him up, to hoard him. . .' Kuro can feel his emotions welling up behind those ideas. He is equally furious at the idea of anyone doing that to the sweet little angel, but at the same time his true nature drags up the desire to do exactly that. Aoba belongs to him, and even letting another close to him is unthinkable. No one can touch, no one should be allowed. . . He shakes his head hard as he enters the barn. 'No, my Little Mouse is best left free. . .' Dani shrugs as his little brother vanishes into the barn, rolling his eyes at the obvious silent conversation Kuro had with himself.

Spotting Aoba reading the book once more Kuro chuckles and wanders over to the feed barrels. Looking the chart over carefully he waits until he has Aoba's attention without purposefully drawing it to himself before addressing him. “So Little Mouse, would you like to feed them together again today, or would you rather split the animals between us?”

High above in heaven Fenrir quickly puts the mirror away as a thump against his door lets him know that someone tried to just walk in. 'Well, I almost never close my door, but goodness what a fright!' His heart is racing a bit, the sudden noise while he'd been watching the smaller demon staring down at little Aoba while he walked to the bar bringing up his protective heckles. However he quickly gets himself under control and moves around tot he door, unlocking it with a click. After a few seconds several of the staff pour in and Fenrir can see it will be a while before he is able to check on the poor fallen angel again.
