Well, since Tahaan and Aysus can "See" one another, and they both have been described with color aspects(Tahaan being described as Gray with little sparkles in in for example), I would say that "Color" is the word Tahaan is using to describe the way the shift in energy makes the bits "look" different. The change in the exterior aspect of the bit. I can't think of a better word. . . . .Sorry. . . . .

Or one could argue that a side effect of making Light and Dark, seeing as light consists of all the colors, is that color became a part of their vocabulary of describing the things they "See"
Hmmmm. . . . .Rei would never let the guy actually get a swing in, but I think we can come up with something to make the prince look tough. . . .How about saying something to startle the guy, like, letting him sneak in close and then suddenly whipping a pillow at him or something. I know that is not as good as fighting with the guy, but at this point, Rei is so wound up and protective there is no way he would let the assassin close enough to actually strike the prince. We could have a public attempt where the prince attacks the assassin. In fact, I see this great shot in my head where Rei deflects an arrow, but he and the prince are heading out on a hunt, so the prince is armed with a bow, and when the arrow is deflected he take a bead on the shooter and pegs him :P That would be sweet :P And quite bad ass.
Grinning wide as Aoba starts to worry then decides not to Kuro hands over half the packets then like before moves to the other end of the plowed area and begins planting. Deciding just to use his hand for digging Kuro sets to work, flipping off his big brother when he makes a comment about being a human. “There is nothing about hard work that is strictly human. After all, don't try and lie to me and say your breeding project was “easy”. I know for a fact you didn't sleep for a week when that splice went awry and half your breeding stock began eating one another. And are you forgetting what happened when the twins l-”

“Don't bring that up in front of the toy!” Dani barks, his magic crackling angrily. “There's a difference though! The stuff I was doing was for fun! This here is so stupid! This is like. . . .Wholesome and life giving and crap!” Because of their nature, hellbeasts like Dicxson and Dalia are not technically alive, so Kuro is unable to draw a parallel there. However, as Dani goes on to say they're making it harder for no good reason the little brother whips a corn kernel at the fluttering demon. Snatching it out of the air Dani looks at it for a good long while before dropping it to the ground with a huff. “Fine, you win.” he mutters and takes a seat on the fence.

The seed he dropped is now a blackened husk, the touch of his energy having sucked the life out of it. Kuro continues planting until he meets up with Aoba. Looking back over the field he smiles proudly. Along with a few rows of corn in the far back there are several mounds in two rows for cucumbers and zucchini, along with a couple watermelons he planted more for fun than profit, topping it all off with a couple rows of peas and the last two rows taken up by potatoes and carrots. Looking over at Aoba he grins and peeks at his seed packets. “So, what did you plant in your half?” His hands are caked in dirt and as he places his hands on his hips the fabric beneath them becomes instantly filthier.

Dani flutters over, curious about what all these foods stuffs are seeing as he eats primarily raw meat and human souls, but he stays quiet and waits. 'I'll see what they are when they grow. If I'm still around. I could always check back. . . .Not that I care. . . .But if the toy is still here, I'll come back to steal it away anyways, and my brother is such a softy he'll let me look them over before I kidnap the toy. . .'
Seishu grins as Enasi starts walking over and just to be a goof he holds out his hand and playfully wiggles his fingers in a “come hither” motion. Once within arms reach he slips a hand around the other's waist and lets it settle firmly on his hip. Giving the general one last nod and smile, accompanied by a friendly middle finger, Seishu motions for Lan and Ran top open the portal. With a salute they take two paces away from one another and in tandem raise their hands and open the portal. It pops open with a loud crackling noise, much different from the near musical sound the dream realm portals make, and in a dark flash the black, dark purple, and dark blue swirling vortex appears. Tightening his grip he sends the brothers through first, then as one he steps into the comfortable dark mass of energy. Almost at once he can feel his body relaxing in the familiarity of it. Of course this also raises his concern for Enasi, but seeing as he's not having any visual reaction the Nightmare Guardian stays silent for the trip.

~*~*~*~*~

Kaila nearly jumps out of his skin when the portal appears. Despite his best efforts he was unable to calm down while he waited, and as Lan and Ran appear they both have to hide smiles as he gathers himself and forces a calm. The siblings wait on either side of the portal and in a matter of moments the two guardians appear. Tyar flexes happily and after a moment it appears in one of it's many humanoid forms so it can greet Seishu properly. The fit blond female body is clad in S.W.A.T. Gear, her hair in a high pony, and the gun across her back almost as tall as she is. It is strapped sideways so it doesn't get in the way of her legs. Beside the now “her”, Kaila smiles briefly before settling into a more somber expression as he waits to be addressed.

As Lan and Ran close the portal the forest around them seems to shake and the instant the portal vanishes a bolt shoots out of a nearby lighting bush straight at Enasi. Feeling quite invigorated by being back home Seishu deflects the bolt easily on to the next bush and shakes a finger at them. “Now now, he's a guest. No more of that!” His sharp tone seems to settle the foliage and with a smile Seishu looks to his counterpart happily. “Sorry, over protective underbrush. So, how are you feeling?”

Lan and Ran move to Kaila's side to report that there was no trouble with the exchange, and reports what Starla said about taking care of Enasi. The second in command lets out a single “hah” before shaking his head. Tyar shivers at the proximity of the positive energy source that is the Dream Guardian, her foray into the dream realm the closest she's ever gotten to such a pure source other than on the battlefield. The bushes crackle and spark again, but they go back to their normal pattern of passing the charge on to one another, a few flame jets adding a but of red to the predominantly blue/white show. Seishu sighs at the beauty of it and as soon as he is sure Enasi is well Seishu leads him over to the gathered group of nightmare denizens, letting him go just long enough to greet Kaila and Tyar properly.

Tyar sighs softly as Seishu takes her hand before pulling her in for a chest bump. She giggles happily and clasps her hands in front of her as she watches Seishu give Kaila a kiss on the forehead while holding his hands in his own. Kaila shivers at the spark of negative energy that passes between his master's lips and his forehead at the touch and is almost reluctant to let go of Seishu's hands when he steps back. However, ever the good second his reluctance does not show. The negative energy threatens to build inside the guardian's body but Seishu, despite how much he longs for the feeling, suppresses it. 'If I let myself link up with the realm, everyone will know I'm back. I can already feel the ripple Enasi's appearance has sent throughout the realm. All we can do is pray they mistake it for a nightmare bringing back a dream realm snack. . .'

As evil as that sounds, it has happened before and as long as Enasi's barrier stays in place they should be good. Sliding back up to Enasi he slips his arm back around his waist and motions for Kaila to lead the way. He can already feel where the others are gathered but he knows Kaila will want to enter the camp first so he can try and keep the reaction to Seishu's visit from giving away the location of the encampment. Seishu walks close next to his counterpart just in case anything else tries to attack him, and also just in case he needs help with the negative energy swirling around them.
When Illiendi gives his assessment of the letters Amano does his best not to look hurt, but at the same time he can not deny any of the accusations. 'I am sure most of them already know I would never accept my father's way of things and even if selected none of them would ever end up as my bride. I would rather run away than marry out of some sense of familial obligation. I grew up with these girls. . .So they understand that, right? My rejecting them this way is nicer than running away from the marriage interview, but it is a rejection none the less' It is more Illiendi's tone that has the youth on edge than the words themselves. Somehow he feels like he has disappointed the demon. “I know, sorry, I just wanted to write honestly. This may be a big town, but I spent much of my childhood with the other rich kids in town, the girls included. If I did not sound like myself in them, they would grow suspicious and rumors would fly. . .”

Handing over the ribbon Amano laughs openly at the idea of marrying Laiza. Covering his mouth quickly he does his best to stifle the chuckles just in case they offend the demon. “I am sorry, forgive me.” he chokes out as the laughs fade. With a final sigh he smiles warmly as he thinks about he, his gaze on some point in the distance that only he can see. “Laiza is a very good friend, in fact likely my only real friend other than Raoul, but he is family. I have known her forever, and she is a bit of a tom boy. We have spent a lot of time on the streets together, and shared a lot with each other.” Walking over to the bed he sits on the edge and looks over at Illiendi with a goofy grin. “She has someone she loves, and she is currently in the process of working her way into marrying him. The two of them have worked for over two years now to arrange things so that their parents will accept the marriage, however if they fail, they plan on getting married anyways.”

He kicks his feet gently, his gaze dropping down to watch them. “I love Laiza, as a friend, and I wish her the best. They have been saving and dealing, and working so hard to be together, but it will be some time before they announce anything about their plans to anyone other than me, and in the interim she shall be more than happy to pretend for the sake of my venture.” He chuckles again. “I am sure she will come up with something amazing and fantastic when it is time for them to announce their intentions, and she is a great actor so very few people will have any reason to question anything, if any at all.” Looking up at Illiendi he adds, “I will not pretend to be in love with someone or that I intend to marry them, but I have no problem with her deciding to do so.”

He smiles wide when he takes back the now properly tied lock, the ribbon folded into such a fantastic design that he gives the demon a grateful pat on the arm. “Thank you Illiendi, this is perfect. She will love it!” Making sure the letter is dry the youth folds it up carefully before slipping the lock and ribbon inside and tucking both away inside an envelope. He is careful not to crush the package so the ribbon flower isn't flat when it's delivered, then goes about folding and packing the rest of the letters. 'I am sure Illiendi would be happier if I would change them to make them sound more to his liking, but they are what they are, and if any of them want to complain, I will deal with it in person' Once they are all neatly stacked on the desk, Laiza's on top, he turns once more to look at the demon. His hands come up with his hair ribbon and as he ties his hair up properly once more he asks, “Well, I know a bit of what we need, but where would you suggest stopping first?”
Tahaan is a simple creature. "Oh look! Colors! Who cares what they mean, let's see if we can put a purple with a green!" Heheheheheh.
As it drifts in closer Tahaan can not help but crackle happily when Aysus calls it to come over. It thinks joyfully that it's counterpart is actually interested in what it is doing, and that makes it ecstatic. Dragging along some of it's creation it darts up to the ribbony mass and deposits them in the space between them.

~Look look here! If you flex your energy, it almost seems to change for a moment, but then it goes back to normal, like it can hold more energy, but maybe I'm not strong enough. Then, if you put a bunch together, then push and mush them about, they become different shapes and the space between the bits lessen even more, see?~

Taking one bit that is relatively big Tahaan begins pressing an molding it carefully and it begins taking on a completely different shape. It adds more and more until the ungainly mass seems to stop moving through space. Of course it is, but simply so slowly that without a little nudge it's movement is negligible.

~It seems that the bigger the mass of bit, the less it likes moving, but once it gets moving, catching it is a little harder then when it is a little bit. It's like it. . . .Well, I don't really know yet. I have to play more. . . .~

As it says this it begins trying to do just that. Making mass after mass it begins tossing the different sizes bits back and forth. Once in a while a mass will escape it, but instead of going after it, Tahaan just lets it go. It pays not mind to these errant bits, it's nature to focus on there here and now, what lays before it and not what is out of sight. On impulse however it playfully bats a few larger pieces at Aysus to see what it makes of them, hoping it isn't too bothered by the suddenness of the action.
Kuro growls softly when Dani thumps his Little Mouse, but instead of saying anything he picks up a clod of dirt and whips it at the smaller demon. He manages to catch his big brother in the shoulder, earning a snarl, but the fight stops there as Kuro finishes up the plowing before unhooking Dalia and heading over to the other two. Dicxson and Dalia race off to an unploughed part of the field and start fighting rather roughly, but the brothers show no sign of worry at this. In fact Dani watches for several seconds before laughing as his beast manages to land a hard kick to Dalia's ribs. Out of nowhere Kuro tackles his big brother and the two of them mimic their beasts and begin play fighting between the plowed area and the fence. The yelping and growling is punctuated with cussing whenever a blow lands with full force.

The fight doesn't last very long and when at last the two of them break Dani takes to the sky, his tongue sticking out. Jumping up Kuro points to the two beasts still at it and calls out, “Oi! Send Dicxson home! If he's here too long he'll start upsetting the animals!” Dani gestures for Kuro to kiss his butt before racing over to do as he's told. He likes teasing the animals, and if Dicxson beats him to it, he would be very upset. Looking over at Aoba, Kuro smiles wide, his clothes a little worse for wear, but without any open wounds he doesn't look too pitiful. “Well, that was fun. . . .We should get these plows to the fence then start planting. . . .Did you read up on it? If not it's frightfully simple, and if you did then that saves us time!” It's obvious he's still coming down off the high of the fight but he smiles and pulls out the packets of seeds and ignores his slightly dazed feeling.
Heheh, it was cute, I liked it. Also, I had to FIGHT Rei to get him not to just say "That girl is an idiot." and leave it at that. . . . .He really REALLY wanted to say it, but I talked him down :P A week sounds good to me. Do want this one by an okay, a good, or an excellent assassin? No matter what though, I must request, he doesn't actually get to lay a hand on Alessandro. I know it's a bit John Wayne, but I'd love to see a perfect timing entrance for Rei to stop this guy/gal :P
Rei's eyes narrow when the window is thrown open, the sudden addition of sunlight making them sting a bit. He doesn't let them close however, intent on watching the sister as long as he can. 'So many options for people who want him dead, I can not rule anyone out, no matter how nice they seem. As kind as her voice is, I can still see that disgust. . .I do not get it, but I see it, and do not trust it' As he watches however, a new curiosity overtakes him. Over all, the only sibling interactions he's ever seen were either at a distance, or him being paid by one to kill another. 'Though I suppose the children I was raised with could be considered my siblings, but in that case it was still not informative. Assassins in training are just as if not more competitive than sibling competing for the throne' He tilts his head. 'They were nothing like this'

The fae meets the prince's eye when the young noble looks at him, but does not say a word. He simply stands there waiting for some sort of signal for what he should do. Not in his element and having nothing to do really Rei has no real idea of what to do, the only part of his job he can engage in now being keeping an eye out he is loath to do anything other than just that least he mess up this interesting job and have to leave. However when a cloth is suddenly put over his face he blinks slowly and is convinced that the boy is trying to make a joke of some sort. As such, he stays perfectly still, letting his magic do his seeing. He tenses ever so slightly when the sister approaches, but most humans would not be able to perceive the change.

The smells coming off of her seem out of place, most natural human smells he's around enough to overwhelm any perfume, but he concludes with only a moment's thought that she must bathe a lot. He remains tense until she steps away, taking the handkerchief as a cue to stop staring so much. He switches his gaze between the two at measured intervals, his gaze settling on her for a longer time however. The conversation between the two siblings makes almost no sense to the fae, his confusion over her accusatory tone when it comes to his hair added to that comments about a king having to choose between his family and his people sets him firm in the belief that the girl is an idiot, but it is clear from the way Alessandro acts around her that such an assessment said aloud to him would not be well received.

'I may not understand a lot of things, the emotion love being one of the major ones, but I do know that it is limitless and can be given out to anyone. If I have learned anything from the kings human books, the ones who treat their family poorly make terrible rulers. I recall a phrase. . . . “Charity starts at home.” I can believe that, and I do believe it applies to love as well. Every royal I have ever killed for to get them into a ruling position have always had a contract out on their life within a year' His head tilts to the side. 'And she is his daughter, how can she not see how foolish her father is when I have seen him but once and can say in absolute certainty that he is a bad parent? Though I suppose she could be the same as me. She grew up with it, so it is normal to her. . .However I still killed the ones responsible. . .Does that mean she has feelings of revenge on the man? I have seen that stray to others before. Being unable to strike at the one responsible, it has fallen to others close to that person. . . She just went up on the suspect list'

His silent musing pass quickly and as the conversation returns to his hair, Rei's head shifts from one side to the other. 'And that is another thing. . .It is hair. . .I do not get what is so bad about it. . . I can tell from the smell that he is the son of the king and queen, and sometimes light hair comes from dark haired families. All this fuss over something uncontrollable is just. . .' Unexpectedly a very low growl rolls from his throat when she calls his hair hideous, the stupidity of it finally getting to him on a primal level, however as neither of them respond to it he guesses they must not have heard him. 'I need to watch that. I could pass it off as a burp I suppose. . .I can normally deal with stupid. . .I think my prolonged exposure to the boy along with my job is making me over protective. . . .' He inwardly shrugs it off and goes back to watching the two of them.

As the girl turns and leaves the room Rei leaves a magical tag on the bottom of her shoe, intent on tracking her movements for a while. The creak from the bed as the prince collapses back on it draws his eyes over to the exhausted looking young man and without a word he pushes off the wall and slinks over to stand at the foot of the bed. His head tilts this way and that as he leans against the nearest post and he thinks hard, choosing his words carefully before speaking up. “You were right. In this particular instance, I did not mind, though in public I would ask you refrain from impeding my view. My hearing and magic can only go so far.” He blinks slowly, his tone becoming more exacting than usual. “And I would also request you not ask me what I think of your sister. I will not lie if asked, and I would rather not upset you any more than she has.” His head tilts to the side. And he adds, “I enjoy being around you as yourself far more than the false front you are forced to put up. You are far more entertaining like this.” Glancing at the meals he wonders vaguely if he can bring his back to his room of if he'll call an attendant to take the trays away. “You are you and there is no fault to be had in that and any discussions about it are moot, as the reality will not change.”
