The minions continue making not so quiet comments about Enasi as they go along, and for the most part Seishu ignores them. However a few catch his attention in a bad way and he's forced to give those who spoke them a hard look. They stop at one point to let a nightmare snake about the size of a bus slither by and Seishu gives her giant head a rough pat as she leans in, her long tongue sniffing at the red head. Seishu purrs softy in his throat, the pleasant nature of it all added to the fact that Enasi kissed him back in public without any qualms making him one happy guardian. However when Enasi stumbles and he looks back at the children he can not help but let out a long exasperated sigh.

The one who grabbed Enasi's pant leg suddenly falls to his knees and Seishu prompts Enasi to stay put before running over to him. Quickly siphoning off the stray positive energy he motion for the rest of the kids to come over so he can talk to them. “No no little ones. Charge but do not touch. He doesn't want to hurt you, but you are not strong enough to touch such a powerful sparkler, got it? You'll make yourselves sick.” The kids nod, a few scuffing the ground with a foot in a ploy to look innocent. Seishu lets out a playful little growl, snapping his fangs at them and with squeals they run away to hide behind Lan and Ran. Kaila rolls his eyes, a small wave of nerves coming from him as Seishu returns to Enasi's side and they continue their loop.

The little ones continue to hover around the guardians like flies around a dead body but now they make sure to not touch Enasi. They begin a new round making up a new set of rules and playing happily despite the danger the Dream Guardian represents. As Kaila's nerves grow Seishu becomes more and more aware of them until at last he stops and turns to the minion. Kaila swallows, his usual mask in place as he waits to be addressed. Seishu narrows his eyes ever so slightly, glancing around at the rest of his team. However they each look away when their master looks in their direction leaving Kaila the only one willing to keep eye contact.

Filo and Feena, who had been fluttering overhead, drift down to heard the children away without being asked and the rest of the encampment shift away quietly to give them some space. Nightmares and minions have what could be considered a talent for recognizing when another needs space, and never is that more obvious than it is now. There is a long moment of silence until at last Seishu asks softly. “What's wrong Vio?”

At the sound of his nickname Kaila's mask cracks and for an instant that deep sorrow underneath flashes across his features. He tries to cover it quickly but in an instant Seishu has released Enasi, the rest of the team moving in to compensate, and the guardian is at his second's side. Kaila's eyes fall closed as Seishu reaches out, grasping his shoulders gently. Pulling Kaila in close he whispers softly, nonsense mostly, a bunch of random words and phrases he uses to calm his underlings when they are children. Eventually Kaila calms enough to begin speaking softly, his team closing their eyes in unison. “It's Jentou, my brother.” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion.

Seishu's gaze sharpens and he has to resist the urge to cast out his energy to find the minion. Jentou, unlike Kaila, had been ready to accept Seishu as the new guardian without question. Though most of the time such familial relations have no meaning, but in rare cases siblings will feel a great bond with one another. Like Lan and Ran, Kaila and Jentou were always very close despite the fact that they never agreed on anything. Their rivalry was legendary, setting the stage for many of the main competitions in the realm, but always they would come out of it arm-in-arm with a smile at the ready. Slipping his hands along Kaila's back Seishu tries to sooth him further, waiting patiently before asking him to continue.

With a shuddering breath the minion manages to go on. “H-he joined Gin, I don't know when, and back some days ago, he was found doing. . . .terrible things. . . .Such horrible things to an innocent nightmare.” Kaila flinched a whine escaping him as Seishu involuntarily tightens his grip on him, the guardian's hands taking fistfuls of Kaila's cape in hand. Seishu calms himself quickly, dropping a few soft sounds to help Kaila relax as well.

“What happened Kaila, what did you do?” Though his tone is soft it is easy to recognize the anger boiling behind his words. Kaila buries his face in his guardian's chest but rather than replying he points towards the center of camp, towards the swamp, and Myralyn's resting place. Seishu follows the line of his arm, past Enasi and into the distance. Silently he slips a hand beneath Kaila's chin and lifts it. Once the minion's face it turned up Seishu lays a single, sweet kiss on the smaller male's lips before letting him go and heading towards the center of camp. Kaila and his team fall in tight formation around Enasi, urging him forward to follow behind their own guardian who seems very intent, his eyes unseeing as he walks.

Nightmare and minion alike fall away from before the storm that is Seishu in a rage. Each one looks down as he passes, glancing at Kaila and his team once he is past the same question in their eyes. However, they do not reply, instead staying steady and keeping their eyes fixed on a point just behind Seishu's heels. The enraged guardian walks out on to the thin jut of land and calls out, “Myralyn! Send him up!” The nightmare contemplates being offended at not being greeted first, but decides that Seishu deserves his patience. As Seishu stands firm, waiting for the nightmare to comply, the camp seems to fall under a hush, waiting to see what's about to happen.
Kuro chuckles softly at the idea of Dani running around in a shirt and underwear. 'Well, as of late he has taken to wearing shorty shorts, so I suppose it's not all that different, but in this case I don't think he's be able to keep the boxers up, not with those slender tiny hips' When Aoba asks to take his towel Kuro nods, checking on the soup. He smiles as the little angel removes the towel then proceeds to try and dry his hair with it. 'He is so adorable. It's like having a human little brother. . . .But I don't want another brother. . . I'll have to fix that' As his thoughts turn more to the wicked side of things Aoba once more vanishes up the stairs after complimenting the soup. Kuro only hums in reply, testing the flavor before adding a little dill.

Putting a little lime flavoring into the water Fenrir returns to his bedroom and settles on the bed. He takes several slow sips before finally setting the glass aside and taking up the mirror. Unwrapping it carefully, almost afraid that the sound will be working. A fear had been growing inside him since the angel altered the mirror. An irrational fear that what he hears will prove that the little fallen angel is truly damned already, and take away any hope of saving him. 'But I can't stop now. I've gone so far out of my way already, keeping this rather than returning it, getting it upgraded, not telling anyone I still have it. . .I pray I am not damning myself with all this less than pure activity' Arch angels are given a little more leeway than most, but only a little. The picture clears quickly ad he spots Aoba carrying a couple towels, the faint sounds coming from the mirror indicating that the sound is indeed working now. Taking a calming breath, he settles back against his headboard, and watches.

Dani stalks up right next to his little brother, his gaze never leaving the steaming pot on the stove. 'The smell is okay, but I don't smell any meat in there. I wonder if he's gonna become a veggie head. . .That's gross. At least I can still eat the wild animals or I might starve to death. Okay, I know there is no meat, but I smell meat. . .' “Hey, Kurotama, what's in that?”

Glancing at Dani the taller male rolls his eyes and huffs. “Carrots, celery, potatoes, and beef stock and some dehydrated meats that will plump up as they absorb the stock. Don't worry, you'll get your flesh tonight, it'll just be cooked.” Dani's eyes go wide, honestly curious at what dehydrated, whatever that means, meat will taste. Aoba comes back downstairs and Dani's attention turns to the fluffy winged beast. Growling happily he wanders over, sniffing at Aoba like a curious puppy before collapsing on the couch to wait for dinner. Laying face first his wings flop limply to either side of him, the back of the couch making one wing scrunch up on his back while the other flops over the small coffee table.
Amano did not miss the look on Illiendi's face when he mentioned the word “love”, but he just let the reaction slide to the back of his mind. He knows the demon doesn't understand love, but at the same time he's sure Illiendi will respect his wishes when it comes to said emotion. 'After all, he seems to go along with just about anything I say. I am sure that he is sue to such treatment, but at the same time, I know he has a mind to choose with. I mean, when he was summoned, he didn't just go along with the will of the ones who summoned him. He made the choice to serve me, and. . . .And that is the part of Illiendi I want to see and use. I want that part of him that drives him to be what he uses to temper me' Addressing the envelopes quickly Amano tucks his letters away to be dropped off on a delivery boy while they are out.

Once again Illiendi addresses him in that way that sends a thrill through the young man's body. He does nothing to hide this feeling, though he doe look away from the demon towards the door as he thinks on his words. 'He is right, those should be at the top of the list. It confuses me though. He knows, or at least think he knows, that despite my want to escape this town should the opportunity present itself I have very little experience in planning for travel, let alone travel by ship' Holding himself as he's been taught to Amano walks to the door and opens it, motioning for the demon to exit first before closing the door behind them. “We shall stop in those places first, and after that I think we should head to the docks again. I would like a better look at that ship and it's captain. I am sure Russ would not have recommended it if it was not up to par, but I have my own reasons for wanting a better look. I really have paid attention over my years as the son of a merchant.”

His voice is low, but not timid, and his strides are long and confident. “I would like to inform Russ that we have gained father's approval, I am sure he will have some suggestions for the next venture: assembling a crew.” He lets his manservant open the front door for him and pauses only briefly to take in the morning air before taking up his original pace. “I do not know exactly what to look for in a sailor, but I do know what to look out for. Many long meal has been spent, both at home and at the homes of my father's business partners, listening to the foolish things some sailor do to ruin cargo, or delay deliveries.” His eyes dart back and forth across the street as a slightly sly smile comes to his lips. “I also know several sailors that would be trouble to bring along for the simple fact that I have, as a child, been quite the trouble maker for those down at the docks. Some still hold grudges and would love a chance to mess me up while out at sea.”

His money jangles lightly in his pocket and for the first time in his life the idea of getting robbed passes through the young man's head. 'Though I doubt Illiendi would let that happen, unless it was to teach me a lesson. He would likely fetch the money back for me anyways, but still, I could see him letting me get hit with some hardships to teach me to not be so trusting' Moving out of the residential area Amano quickly spots a messenger he knows he can trust and flags the boy down. The red headed youth is a few years younger than Amano and stares openly at Illiendi when he draws close. The exchange is brief, Amano giving the boy enough for the delivery plus a small bonus to ensure swift, safe delivery. As the youth takes off Amano smiles at Illiendi for no particular reason other than he is glad things in his life are moving forward, and Illiendi is the key factor in it, and he is grateful. Once the young man disappears into the crowd Amano sets them back on course for the market which is closer than the docks. “Rations first, since everything else we plan to do today deals with the docks, and this is closer.” he murmurs.
Tiski watches from afar, letting loose the little ones to attack their guardian lovingly. The jumble of noise and movement keeps her from moving closer to her guardian, despite her near overwhelming need to at least lay a hand on him. However after a long moment she notices a little nightmare trying to get a better look at the one being guarded by her team and with a wickedly happy smile she saunters over. 'We'll see if you're worth the care Master Seishu seems to have for you. I know if Kaila isn't fighting it then there is something to it, but I want my own look at the cause for all the fuss' The eyes watching the guardian shift for a moment on to the girl as she walks up to Enasi, and a few smirk, wondering what she'll do.

None of them dare lay a hand on the guardian, knowing that the team will likely not respond well to the advance given how they are trying to keep the weak little puppy at bay, but one of their own? Who knows, she may get somewhere. Out of the corner of his eye Seishu notices her stalking closer to Enasi and he begins the arduous process of disentangling himself from the little ones. He can tell she's up to something by her very walk. Once in close enough for the pup to notice her she growls at it and it skitters away. Without hesitation she walks right up to Enasi, and bending over she places one hand on either of his knees and looks him right in the eye. The rest of the team do not respond beyond rolling their eyes, Kaila not even doing that as he notices their guardian standing up and turning their way.

Not caring how she's invading his space, and ignoring how such proximity is making her a little dizzy, she leans in close and scrutinizes him silently for several long seconds before letting out a little “Harrumph” and looking down at his lap. The look on her face seems to imply that she can see right through his clothing. Before she can say anything however Seishu seizes her around the middle and lifts her clear off her feet. She lets out a yelp, cringing as she looks over her shoulder to see the stern look on Seishu's face. Raising an eyebrow he gives her an evil grin before spinning hard on the spot and whipping her into the crowd like a champion hurler. She shrieks and a ripple of laughter goes around the camp at the sight of he flying through the air.

Without being told to Tyar flies after he and catches her before the crowd has the chance to just let her drop, or catch her depending on their mood in that instant. Seishu joins in the laugh even as she pouts and races back to give him a hug. After giving her a firm squeeze he pulls her head back firmly by her hair and says quite seriously, “Only I get to touch and see him like that, got it? Mine.” She nods as he lets her hair go, pouting a little as she turns off her x-ray vision. Looking back at Enasi she smiles sweetly, a knowing gleam in her eye. Swatting at her Seishu lets out a sigh and holds out a hand to Enasi. Pulling the smaller male to his feet he pulls Enasi flush against him, his smile more than a little suggestive as both arms settle behind Enasi's waist to keep him from moving away.

The love pouring on to him from his underling mixed with the negative energy of his realm is proving to be quite stimulating to the Nightmare Guardian. However he contents himself with a soft kiss before letting go with one hand and slipping off to the side to walk beside his other half. With their guardian now at the red head's side Kaila and his team relax their guard and follow the two around camp in a more leisurely fashion. The pup returns and standing on it's hind legs presses it's front paws to Seishu's chest before giving his face a long lick. Seishu laughs and gives him a scratch before swatting him away. Many more nightmares and minions come over to greet Seishu as they walk, but on the whole the camp goes back to it's normal activities.

Having Seishu around makes them much happier in their tasks, and his approving smile at them is enough to send them into a state of bliss after it being absent for so long. Seishu holds tight to Enasi, and a part of him hopes he's not completely miserable. Seishu decides to walk around the boarder of the encampment first before going to greet the protector in the water, wanting to give every one in camp the chance to come to him. The little ones follow at their heels, one every so often darting in to see how close they can get to Enasi before the dizziness makes them drop. Seishu notices their antics and despite the vague danger to their health, the competition itself is healthy so he leaves them be.
Kukukuku, Rei has taken to rambling when he's got someone to listen :P
As the prince smiles up at him Rei returns his gaze to the youth and he tilts his head curiously. Without a word he climbs on to the bed, sitting cross-legged so he can face the young man. He listens quietly, glancing once more at the trays on the table when the prince offers his portion. Blinking slowly he once more has to think over his words carefully before voicing them. He does not have to think long and after only a short pause he responds. “I understand about how she was raised, and I would have you know I will never purposefully do anything to jeopardize either my position here, or your life. She loves you, and you her, and I can see that, but that does not remove her form the list of possible people who are sending assassins after you. In fact, that feeling pushed her up on the list. Any intense emotion can lead to such actions, not just negative ones.”

Running a hand through his hair he glances at the door as someone passes by. “I will avoid confrontation with everyone who does not call for such a response.” He looks back to the prince, a light flash of emotion passing behind his eyes. “I have never been one before, but I have read many books with bodyguards in them, though most of the time they were knights of some sort. I may not be exactly what I have read about, but I like those people. I will act with the honor and civility expected of any knight, which of course includes not doing anything to dishonor my ward.” His head tilts cutely to the side and he crosses his arms, “This also includes treating females more delicately, though I know many a female in my line of work that would find such treatment insulting.”

The fae's stomach lets out a little growl causing him to stare at it. After another pause he stands and wanders back over to the food to eat while he talks, leaning against the table rather than sitting in a chair. “I would rather, at least for a couple days, that we stay on the grounds at night. At least until I can examine the town more thoroughly. If it is your wish to go out at night on occasion, I of course can not stop you, but it would be safer if I could be giving a day or two to map the town in the same way that I am mapping the castle and grounds.” He looks to the prince with his usual emotionless expression. “When I was planning your assassination most of my plans centered around the castle and in particular your room, so though I got my information in taverns and traveled the roofs, I am not quite familiar with the streets as I would like for such an excursion after sun down.”

He takes a sip of his drink, completely unaware that he is rambling a bit at this point. “True, I can see very well in the dark, but at the same time the sunlight or at least half light is better.” Here he pauses to give thought to the actual question posed, unsure if there is any response to give. Finally with a nod he replies, “The final wing of the castle is the one the library is in. If you do not mind I would like to examine the wing then explore the library a bit. The sooner I get the layout of the castle the sooner I can sleep at night.” Done with his bit Rei focuses on eating, listening intently to the prince at the same time. His small body hides a high metabolism and he downs food rather quickly.
Yeah, a little murder comedy to offset the demon/human power struggle :P
This is going to be a mix of adorable, and horrifying I think. Amano both frightened of and seeking the approval of Illiendi, Illiendi trying to figure things out he's never considered before while trying to maintain the position he's always known and understood, all mixed in with the random shenanigans of the passing characters and lands they visit :P Toss in a bit of the war between the angels and demons that is inevitably going to spill through here and there on to their journey, forcing the poor human to deal with things no mortal should ever have to, while also knowing that one day his soul will leave for a place that is a thousand times worse. . . .I feel sorry for both our guys :P
LMAO. Yay, Amano is confusing as hell! Well, in this case, that phrase doesn't work since your guy is FROM hell and it makes sense to him one would assume :p But, anyways, I'm glad Amano is keeping your guy guessing :P
Daaaaw. Our RP is next on the list, I'll be working on this one shortly.
