After being swatted away Kuro stood to the side to finish his speech, watching Aoba work with a slight smile. It isn't until the angel turns to look at him that the tall demon can feel his face falling. The turbulence inside the smaller male seems so inviting and he has to fight the urge not to slip right in there and take what's seemingly being offered openly. He resists the temptation of becoming that stable force in the young angel's life, knowing it would lose him his ultimate prize. Instead his smile becomes fixed and he watches Aoba walk away before turning to the sink to finish the clean up, hanging up the wash cloth so it doesn't mold.

He does not respond to his big brother right away and it isn't until he's half way out the front door that Kuro speaks up. Dani pauses, the soft voice from behind him far more frightening that he's ever heard before. It is only one simple word, but it is enough to get Kuro's point across. “Don't. . .” There is no threat in his voice, no anger, no warning. It is a simple order, spoken in such a way that Dani actually turns back to look at his brother with wide almost terrified eyes. Kuro however is already settling on to the couch, his back to the room and a his bathrobe laid over him like a blanket. Beneath it he's already conjured some clothes to use until he can go shopping.

Dani stares for several minutes, beyond confused and frightened, trying desperately to try and figure out what it was that scared him so much. Unable to find his answer in Kuro's back he slumps and backs outside slowly, closing the doors softly. Once clear of the porch he takes to the sky and flutters to the barn. Entering through the open loft door he flutters down to his nest and settles in. He lays for a few hours, staring at the roof with a blank expression, his mind abuzz with questions. 'This is so frustrating. Normally I'd go to Himura and ask him about this. Kurotama has never sounded like that before, I'm sure of it! Or if he has, I wasn't around for it. . . .Not that I pay much attention to the little runt since he left home'

Dani rolls his eyes at himself before rolling on his side and continuing his musings. It isn't until a couple hours past midnight that he notices something odd. Hearing strange sounds coming from below he clears away some of the hay to look through the knot hole he found the night before which gives him a perfect view of the area beneath him. “Oi. . . .Mama. . . .What's up?” It takes a second to find her, but when he spots her laying on her side rather than standing his eyes go wide. “Uuuuhhhh. . . .That's not normal. . . .” Leaping out of his nest he lands in the middle of the pitch black barn and looks to the mother cow for a good long minute before moving in closer. “You're. . .Is it baby time!?” The soon-to-be mother cow looks at him and lets out a cow bellow before dropping her head back down.

As a breeder he knows that each animal is different when it comes to their birthing practices and what's normal for any given species. “Um, I don't know, are you suppose to be laying down?” He can feels a mix of panic and excitement rising. Since hell beast are not technically alive he's never seen the emergence of life before and he really wants everything to go right for his first time. Like a rocket he shoots out of the barn yelling loudly. “Kurotama, Aoba! Baby coming, it's coming now, she's all goopy and crap!” Kuro hears him before he even opens the door and is on his feet by the time Dani crashes in still speaking in a loud voice. “It's, the baby's coming! I've seen, I recognize, it's time!” Kuro nods, trusting his brother's judgment and grabs his shoulders firmly.

“Dani! Dani, go back out there, and just talk to her, calmly. We'll be right out, okay?” The smaller demon nods rapidly and shoots out the door just as Aoba reaches the bottom of the stairs. Kuro whips around with a broad, genuine smile and strides forward quickly. “Little Mouse, it's time! Mama's giving birth!” Taking Aoba's hand in his own he races out after Dani, moving slow enough that the still sleepy Aoba does not fall flat on his face. Once inside the barn Kuro snaps on some lamps for light and slides up beside Dani to look at Mama. She is on her feet, but by the yuck issuing from her Kuro has to agree, she's close.
Okay, I'll be here. I was thinking that there would be no humans in this realm since humans are non magical. The races could appear human, but would not be. Also. . . . .I don't like the idea of being able to change the sentient creatures in the realm. I can see them being able to change animals and beasts, but not the thinking races. . . .
Pants? I see the place looking kinda like a south american jungle when they land, with other parts of the world being different temperate zones. There would be "Normal" stuff around, but you're right, a lot of the stuff would look odd since the beings here get bored quickly. This is all my opinion, what ideas would you like to input?
Yush. He would be relying on the pet to survive, but of course that's after he gets the pet to give a crap :P
I'd say there is magic, but it's limited to mages, sorcerers, warlocks and the like. The place they are sent would be like the place in Pandora Hearts kinda, and if you don't get the reference it's like a place of unreasonable difficulties and cruel facts. This place would make a little more sense than the one in PH, no floating coffee tables and the like, but it would be populated with beings able to use magic and manipulate reality. The world the prince is from however would be without magic save for aforementioned people and of course magical beasts.
Yeah, Alexi wouldn't be the main target, and he didn't plan on being there, but the recent attack on the factory would prompt him to go, and he wouldn't tell Erik about it. However, Joseph could mention off hand where Alexi went that day which I could see as a trigger for Erik's memory. Since Alexi has not asked about his terrorist activities out of respect, I can see it not really being a main topic for them hence on the back burner in importance for now. The main targets would be the CEOs, and Alexi would be a coincidence.

The cascade effect of emotions. Alexi would be in danger, angering Mois, Alexi would see people dying for the first time sending him into a bit of a shock. He would have to calm Mois while dealing with not only his own feeling on the matter, but the absolute mess of emotions from the blending with Erik as well, and when he gets home he would have to deal, presumably, with a very upset Joseph, until finally he comes in on Erik, his emotion over the happening crashing with all the ones he's already built up, and Erik being bombarded with that near explosion making the encounter very intense.
It could be planned on a day. . . .*Evil grin* Where Alexi and some of his higher up are meeting to discuss the company and some recent issues it's been having. I think it would be great if, and bare with me, Erik helped plan the attack, but not until after Alexi leaves that day does he recall that the attack was suppose to happen. It could be Erik's own little war as to whether or not to warn Alexi. I see Mois being there anyways so even if he doesn't warn them his team will still be in danger, and I see him, even if he does try to warn Alexi via Josph, the Xani moved the attack up since Alexi moved his meeting to earlier in the day that the warning would come after the attack has already occurred. Alexi and any of his board members would be targets, several of them being CEOs of the slave trade and control device companies. . .If that's too much let me know, it's just what popped into my head. Alexi will not be mad at Erik for the danger to his won life, but I can tell you the cascade for other reasons would be epic. . . . .
Hmm, I posted but it said I didn't. . . .
I am good with the 10-11 days until the next attack. I like the idea that Erik would have helped plan it, that would be interesting. I also think it would be interesting for it to be one of the office buildings with mostly pencil pushers, maybe a slave record company. They could be there to take out key targets and steal some documents that would help them find captured comrades. Erik's file wouldn't be in there of course, but other cell members and maybe a leader or two. Find out where a few of the dragons are being held *Grin* Dragons make good tanks in the resistance :P *Has vague evil plot coming to life*
Hmmm, I think our ideas on the definition of rebels is rather different, but okay, we'll go with that. I was just hoping for more time before Alexi has to report how many people are killed by his cell and how it affects Alexi, then Erik having to deal with that since he believes in his cause :P A little of it should come up with the attack on his factory, but if the Xani attack is 1 1/2 weeks from not, then there will be one or two more doses under their belt and Erik will be able to feel the hurt in earnest. Oh, and I think the Xani attacking one of Alexi's places would be good, to add to the impact on the younger Vandros :P What you think? Maybe even have Mios hurt and/or lose a few of his team. . . .
