Y should never be afraid of being embarrassed, it's useless emotion we all can do without, and their feelings are on them, it is their choice to get angry even if they wanna blame it on you.

*Sad face* I love cooking. It's one of my favorite activities.

Our house if fun, for the most part, but we do have one problem roommate, but she's almost never home. . . .

*Waggles finger* I don't approve of drinking in general, but buying for your underage roommates is unforgivable. Shame shame. Helping with math is good, but I like spiders. I put them outside rather than squishing them when my services are called for around here :P

Yu is an over protective cat who loves people. . . I see a very heart wrenching moment in the future.
Rei nods slowly, swallowing and washing down his mouthful before replying to something the prince said earlier about family. “I understand about predispositions. I do not recall my family in the slightest, however I still felt compelled to seek revenge for their murders.” Looking down at the bone in his fingers he adds, “As to being a knight, I do not think that will ever happen.” He does not sound sad at the announcement, that same detached tone he always has setting back into his voice like a well fitting glove. The look on the prince's face after he places his request that they stay in the castle for the night reminds the fae of a human child who has been denied candy and wonders if he should have kept his mouth shut, however as the prince replies he returns his focus to the meal.

With a loud snap he breaks off a bit of the bone and begins eating it as if it were no harder than a cracker or hard nut. He finishes the bite quickly and turns to look at the prince when he announces that he'll be going to bed early, wondering if his thoughts on secret passages and the like are true. 'I do not see a reason for so many things to be connected to the library, though that may be the very point of having them. If the people in the castle were attacked and they all escaped into the passageway riddle library then the attackers may think as I do and not rush to capture them, thinking them trapped' Nodding slowly he watches the prince move around the room, his eyes once more taking in those scars at the young man's back is revealed.

'He seems to be in a much lighter mood now. . .I wonder why? I practically deny him his evening fun out right, and he has hardly eaten anything. I do not understand how he shifts moods like this' It does not even cross the little fae's mind that it is he himself who has brought up the prince's mood. He has no idea how his words and actions amuse the young man, and given his normal mental workings he may never come to realize just how much the youth enjoys his company. He's an assassin after all. Most people are terrified when he's around, even if they wish to hire him. He downs the rest of the bone as the prince is brushing his hair, something Rei himself has never had to do due to the nature of his hair, and grabs the last little bit of food, stuffing it in a cloth napkin before tucking it into a pocket for later consumption.

Heading to the door he offers a nod towards Alessandro before taking his leave of the man. Outside a little ways down the hall he spots the youth from the morning who'd given him that odd look. He closes the door quietly and walks off towards the young man. 'He is the one I saw in the prince's window. I believe he is some kind of personal servant. . . .' He stares openly at the guy as he passes and the young man responds the same way everyone else does when he stares. 'He is no real threat. At least not for now' Rei continues down the main stairs and heads off to the library wing. His magic snakes out around him, taking in every little bit of information as usual.

When he finally steps through the large double doors into the vast expanse that is the hall of tomes Rei stops, his countenance changing ever so slightly. The change would go unnoticed by anyone who does not know him well, and that means almost everyone. His eyes take in every minute detail available for them to see, his body still as his head moves this way and that like a raptor seeking out it's prey. He stands like this for a full minute until a slight movement catches his attention. 'The prince said there is a keeper of the books here. . .' He muses, stepping into the room proper and closing the doors behind him.

The movement turns out to be who he thought it was and as soon as the fit elderly man spots him he looks ready to either scold him, or flee. Rei walks up the central dais, shaped like a stack of circles, with a large circular desk at the top where the keeper stands inside like his own little fortress. He eyes the boy for a time before speaking up. “You. . . You're that new bodyguard of the prince's aren't you?” His voice is a bit wheezy, like a man too long on the pipe. Rei nods. He shakes a hand. “A little runt like you, eh? As well, wouldn't expect any better from that one.” He points to the shelves as Rei suppresses an unconscious growl at the way the man speaks of the prince. “This is the largest library in the whole kingdom, and a lot of these books are irreplaceable, you hear? I don't want you just tearing your way through this place and leaving things about all willy nilly, got it? You put things back where you found them, and you treat these books with respect, or else orders or no orders, I'll kick you out unless you have the brat himself with you, understand?”

Rei tilts his head tot he side, understanding the man's words, but at the same time wondering at how a servant could have the right to usurp the prince's orders. A part of him even doubts that he can even do it, and the words are on the tip of his tongue before he recalls that the prince wants him to avoid conflict unless absolutely necessary. 'Disagreeing with a man like this would likely end in a verbal fight' he concludes and simply nods. “I understand. I have never mistreated a book, and do not intend to start now.” His tone seems to bring back the urge to flee in the man and he steps away from the young fae.

“Well, so long as you understand that. . .” His voice is much quieter now, and that note of fear feels very familiar to the assassin. Without another word Rei looks once more around the room before heading for the nearest wall to begin his search. The entire library is round, the shelves curved, and the pillars likewise rounded. The dark red finish on the wood is off set by the white walls. The room is three stories high with balconies running along the walls, leaving the middle open so you can see the roof if standing in or near the center of the room. The areas not taken up by shelves, some of which are free standing turning the walkway between the wall and the next curves of shelves into a kind of tunnel with only the occasional break to exit the tunnels, are filled with various chairs and tables, no doubt not often used by the looks of things.
*Poke*
I'm glad you like him :P Picking out the right animal was a challenge, but fun. *Giggles* I can't wait to see him in action!
No problem, take your time, I am patient. What do you think of my guy?
Illiendi once more uses that word and for the first time Amano wonders why he says it like that. It's easy for him to tell that the way he says 'master' is far different than the way he says anything else. 'The only time he didn't say it like that is when. . . .When he called me “young master”. When he said it that time, it was. . . .cold. Like the way all the servants say it. Like it didn't actually mean anything' As the chill travels over his body the youth's eyes skate over the vendors, seeking out the honest faces. Though his thoughts are elsewhere Amano's perceptions are as sharp as ever. He may not know it, but he's far more shrewd than one could give that innocent face credit for.

He lets Illiendi lead him around but keeps an eye out in case he finds a need to deviate. However Illiendi stops leading at the very shop Amano was sure he wanted to visit and he can't help but smile at that. 'It's not a coincidence. Even I know that we need those cracker things the sailors always complain about. Maybe some hard breads with the soft core too. Those things can last months and the soft core is good for sopping up the last bits of liquid from soups and stuff. As long as the waters are calm it's possible to cook even on a rocking ship' That remind him that he'll have to ask if they should try and find a cook, or just try for a sailor who can make basics.

He does some quick calculations in his head, figuring on at least seven people, and even if Illiendi doesn't eat, they could use the extra ration if they get stuck at sea for a while. Once he’s done with his figuring he pulls out the max he's willing to pay for the lot and hands his purse to Illiendi. “The butcher in town has unreasonable priced, but if you go down that side street you can find a small shop of dried goods. Order us some meat and fruits if you would, and anything else you think we need. Rudolf here can take a long time to haggle something out and I'd rather we both be productive.” Once Illiendi is on his way Amano mentally push up his sleeves and heads inside to begin his purchase.
Well that's the worst thing I've heard in a while. *Huggles* I'll be here for you if you wanna talk. . .Don't worry about replying if you're not up for it. *More huggles*
“What I'm talking about is your insentient need to be doing, something.” He ruffles the angel's hair. “Sometimes it's better to just relax and enjoy. You helped save a baby's life! Take half a second to revel in that fact.” Squeezing Aoba's shoulder again Kuro chuckles softly. 'I know, you are happy when you're working, but as a mortal you have to learn that that is not good for your body Little Mouse. You don't have hundreds of angels to come take over if you get tired, just a couple of demons who may not be able to do the job' He doesn't say that spiel out loud, knowing that Aoba is far to tired to take it to heart at this point, however he smiles warmly as the angel seems to take his advice. For a short time at least.

His arm slides off the smaller male's shoulder when in no time he finds a reason to be on the move again. Kuro lets out an exaggerated sigh and hangs his head in defeat. 'Oh yes, let's keep not listening to the smartest guy around for a thousand miles, indeed!' Slipping out the gate behind the angel Kuro closes it behind him and turns to the excited Dani. “Just seen your first one now you want more? True demon nature here huh?” He chuckles as they move on to the issue of naming the little guy but before the over excited Dani can drop his idea for a name Kuro speaks up.

“The right to name a baby goes to the parents, and when that is not an option, it goes to the godfather.” He smiles and tilts his head. “That would be you Little Mouse. As the one who helped with the birth, and of course as owner of the animal, it's your job to name the little guy.” Watching Aoba droop over the gate Kuro slides up behind him and massages his shoulders gently. “You don't have to some up with a name tonight. In fact, I think you should wait. You're exhausted. C'mon, off you bed with you!” Dani pouts but says nothing as without warning Kuro scoops the angel up, careful not to hurt his wings, and begins heading for the house to put the smaller male to bed.

The small demon on the other hand watches as at last the calf finds it's way to it's feet and begins suckling for the first time. “Don't worry Mama, he'll get a name. Names are important. I like my name. Papa said he named me after someone really special. Someone who made it possible for passage between earth and hell easier, and who corrupted people en-mass. I think that's amazing. I've only ever gotten one at a time, it's a rare demon trait. Most demons can be charming, but not charismatic.” He rambles on, watching the little calf happily as Mama cleans it, chiming in every once in a while with her two cents.
Daaaawwwww *Shy face*

Oki, as long as didn't mess up your ideas for your character. . . . . I think Tahaan will take a long time to even think about those things beyond "Aysus is Aysus and not Tahaan, and that's how things are."
~Seishu chuckles softly at the accusation that he seems to hurt himself a lot. “Need I remind you that I am far more often hurt by others and then just exacerbate the issue my dear?” He sighs and looks over his shoulder at the trees. “Though I must say, even if I was hurting myself here, I consider it worth it so see that look on your face. . .” Slipping behind Enasi's back expertly he wraps his arms around the smaller male's waist and presses another kiss to the same spot as before. “Before I delve out Gin's punishment, I'll have to thank him properly. Without his betrayal, you'd still hate me, and I'd still be admiring you from afar.” Nipping Enasi's ear lightly he lets the red head go and moves to the edge of the pool.

With a soft sigh his clothes vanish, all of them, and with a smirk he looks over his shoulder at Enasi, his hair providing a curtain to keep him mostly hidden from sight. “When in Rome, eh?” He wonders if Enasi will recall his swimming preference when it comes to clothing and after a second turns and dives into the water. Exerting a little will he keeps his hair between him and Enasi's line of sight as he beckons his counterpart forward from beneath the surface.~
