Sensing the teasing going on around his counterpart Seishu manages to disarticulate himself from the piles of clinging nightmares and minions and shuffle back over to the furs. Kaila immediately take up his hands and heals his guardian of most of his minor injures of love before returning to his brother's side quietly. Seishu gives Kaila a quick kiss before sliding back over to Enasi and slipping his arms around his waist. In a soft voice he says, “Don't let'em get to you. They're just jealous.” As one they all pretend to look like they are thinking and then in perfect unison the full team nods and smiles in agreement. Seishu chuckles at the sight and presses his forehead against Enasi. 'I should tell him that I still intend to leave as soon as possible. I want to get him home. . . .'

Another shot of energy races through the young fairy's body, the third in less than a minute. Once more his little wings accelerate and a sonic boom can be heard all across the dream realm. Minion and dreams alike look to the sky to try and find the source, however by the time they hear it, Rue is far gone from sight. His heart races, his breaking is more rapid than it has ever been. He sets his curve so that he does not have to worry about running into the barriers of their realm on any side. He can just keep flying. 'I am close. I can feel it. It's right there, I just need to reach out and grab it!' His wings pump faster and faster, the speed making them invisible.

Another spike and he lets out a gasp, unsure if his body can take any more. Down below the dream denizens hear the scream of his body cutting through the air and some grow fearful that something awful is about. Harper, out on his rounds, is stopped by several worried denizens, all of whom get the same response. “It's just a minion trying to find his place. There's nothing to worry about.” the rabbit man says to yet another frightened group of passers by. Looking up at the sky as he once more hears the noise, but like every other time he sees nothing. 'He's going to break something at the very least if he keeps moving at that speed. . .' he muses, continue on his rounds.

However when he hears the noise coming this time he stops, his heart skipping a beat. In an instant that familiar sound vanishes. It doesn't fade, it doesn't die out, it simply, stops.” His gaze snaps to the sky, looking frantically for any sign of Rue. He can feel his fear building as he sees no sign of the little guy. “Oh crap. . .If he his something, or something hit him. There's not way that was normal!” He lets out a shrill whistle and a moment later Rasha comes bounding into view.

“Did you hear that!?” the little cat thing shouts as he races towards Harper.

“Yeah, I heard, or stopped hearing as it were. We gotta find him. Now.” Harper is already breathing hard, his blood flowing faster to aid in their next task. Rasha gives him a nod and like a shot both of them are off, prepared to cover ever corner of the realm to find the fairy.

Seishu opens his mouth to tell Enasi it's time to get ready to go when suddenly his head snaps up. His eyes narrow and lock on a spot in the distance he can not see. “No. . . .” His voice is low, and disbelieving. Seishu suddenly pushes Enasi to arm's length, his eyes staying locked. Kaila catches the expression on his face and immediately steps forward. Without looking at any of them Seishu snaps, “Close ranks!” and the unit guarding Enasi lock formation close around him as Seishu takes off. In for steps he is airborne, his wings whipping out with an audible snap. Once in the air he rises higher and higher, a group of his airborne troops coming in close formation behind him.

An instant later Seishu lets out a wave. Despite the danger to him, Enasi, and the encampment, he has to know for sure. Down below Kaila and the others absorb the wave, only the lightest touch of it landing on Enasi. It's barely enough to make him feel less than stellar. Flapping stationary on the spot he waits for the echo, and when it comes along with it comes an immense feeling of sickness. In a voice that sounds desperate for something to not be true the Nightmare Guardian once more whispers, “No. . . . .” Seishu's wings fold and he drops like a stone. An instant before it's too late his wings snap open and he makes a hard landing a few paces away from Enasi. The team kept the rest away as well as held Enasi from going to join Seishu, however when he draws close, his wings dragging on the ground, they take the unconscious sign and step away from the red head.

Moving in close to his counterpart he resists the urge to hold the male, his eyes down cast for a long moment. When at last he looks up the look on his face conveys all the emotions that his following statement encompasses. “Rue's found his calling. . . .”
The faint laugh coming from his betrothed sends Akito into whole new levels of embarrassment and his eating becomes even more mechanical. He can't even bring himself to look up from his plate as Hoko continues wandering around his person to eat. When the plates are traded out and the servant tries to give the plate to the rodent feline, Hoko ducks out of sight, only his nose and whiskers showing from inside his hidy spot. Akito glances up long enough to spot the worried expression on the woman's face and with a gentle hand he takes the plate. “Thank you. And thank you milady.” he says softly, offering a nod to both the servant and the empress. Hiro's mother raises an eyebrow at the gesture but goes about eating with just another smile. The servant looks very confused but nods in response, watching as Aki sets the plate atop his crossed legs and Hoko pops back out to eat.

His chopsticks stop half way to his mouth however when suddenly the emperor announces the idea of leaving him alone with the man who by now must see him as a complete joke. H manages to bring the bite to his mouth and start chewing after not too long of a pause, however as he does so his gaze finally wanders up from his plate as he takes in the expressions on the faces of those around him. 'Well, the emperor seems pleased with himself. I thought he might be a nice guy, but I see now he's a sadist. . .He seems delighted with the idea leaving me alone with a man who just was attacked by my pet and was so panicked he tried to flee'

His gaze shifts over to the empress and he can feel his stomach drop further. 'She looks just a-' His thoughts stop as once more the emperor speaks. A sharp pain passes through him as the slip with his last name brings back some incredibly painful memories. Setting his utensils down, losing his appetite in an instant, he manages to say softly, “I would be honored, your majesty.” Down the table the captain also stops eating, for the first time ignoring his food to look at his adopted son. The general has never been able to get out of his son why that slip bothers him so much, other than the obvious that it contains the word “Moron”. He watches his son closely, praying he will not panic or completely shut down.

When the prince agrees to the idea then turns to address his betrothed it takes a moment for Aki to work himself out of the funk brought on by the emperor's mistake. Both rulers look to one another but with a whine from Hoko he seems to snap out of it. Looking up at the prince all sign of embarrassment is gone and he responds politely. “I am twenty-three years of age highness.” Removing the plate from his lap the soldier pulls his obi out a little. At that prompt Hoko slips under it without a fuss, settling in to digest his meal. The captain isn't sure if his son it okay, but as he's not doing anything wrong he goes back to eating, save now with half an eye on his ward.
I just HAD to reply to this one :P Congratz, you made me go out of order. There's only 2 other people who've ever managed it *Grin* I'll be getting to the other one some time today or tomorrow. :P

Oh, and hope you like my post. Loved yours :P DId you catch the subtle thing about resisting Illiendi? Or was I being too subtle again. . . .
Indeed, the boy's knees almost buckle when at last the demon moves, the feeling of claws on his skin enough to almost make him melt right into the wall behind him. Letting out a slow exhale he looks deep into those soul searing eyes and simply lets the moment hold him. He's not quite sure what's happening, however he refuses to blink, unwilling to miss a moment of it. His eyes almost flicker closed as he sees those black claws pass so close to them, however his determination dose note wane and when at last Illiendi is cupping is cheek oh so tenderly Amano doesn't even realize that his breathing has all but stopped.

He can not help the trembling wracking his body as the beautiful man leans in but as Illiendi whispers those words once more, this time with definite intent, the shock that runs through his system restores his breaking and brings a soft smile to his lips. He remains perfectly still and an instant later the moment has passed and the demon is letting him go. Amano's hands press firmly into the wall behind him so he can keep himself upright, his gaze snapping around them to confirm that indeed the darkness had been unnatural. “Neat trick. . . .” he murmurs, still in a daze but at least beginning to regain his normal breathing rhythm.

His smile returns as Illiendi fixes his hair with one hand and as soon as the taller male seems set the youth slips out of the alley and leads the way towards their next stop. The event plays over and over through his mind leaving him a little bit out of it, however after realizing he's staring at the ground he straightens up and walks properly. Once they reach the cartographers he's managed to shake off most of his funk, however since Illiendi has a better idea of exactly what they need he turns to the taller male and says softly, “You know more about the route we are to take. I would like you to take the lead on this.” After this he motions for Illiendi to get the door. Once inside he stands back and tries to look impressive while listening to the exchange closely.
Once the decision is made Kuro strikes out in the right direction and quickly hunts down what they are looking for. He makes sure to keep Aoba within arm's reach the entire time, deflecting the few sets of eyes that actually seems to take an interest with sharp looks and the occasional showing of teeth. A few of the girls seem to find that last move sexy, but they take the hint and back off. 'It's like entering a den of coyotes. They all keep circling, wondering when the big predator is gonna step aside and give them a chance to sink their teeth in!' He huffs at this, but thankfully the moments are few and they are soon back outside and Aoba is once more directly against his side.

When Aoba speaks up about his concerns, as poorly hidden as they are, Kuro gives him a playful tug around the waist. “No. You will not age unless you really want to. Since angels naturally age slowly, you will have to consciously decide to appear older, or else have to move rather often to avoid suspicion. At least around other mortals.” He shrugs. “I guess Yahweh figures it will take several generations for you to be absolved of you guilt, and not just you, any fallen angel, that only giving you one is unfair. So yeah, your age has not been stunted. No withering for my Little Mouse.” He gives another playful tug and wanders them out of town and behind a mass of weeds before cloaking them and taking off.

The clothes bag is tucked carefully between them while the slightly clunkier sack with the patch kit is held carefully behind Aoba's back. The trip is short an uneventful and when they land Kuro can't help but roll his eyes at the exchange between the angel and the demon. As Aoba practically skips off to the house the taller demon's face falls from soft contentment into a more serious expression. Dani more senses than sees the change and whips around with a curious expression. The smaller demon slips over to his brother, his voice reverting to normal. “What's caught in your craw Little Black Cloud?”

Ignoring the nickname for now Kuro asks softly, “Was Pops upset when you left? Not over you leaving, I just mean. . . .What he upset?”

Dani rolls his shoulders, looking at the house. “This question have anything to do with.. . . . .?” Looking back to Kuro they stare at each other for a long moment. Realizing he's never going to get an answer Dani sighs and says, “Yeah, Pops was ordering some harder hits. He was focusing on the combat more than usual. Why?.”

The taller male shakes his head. “My words stand, no matter how far I go. You take care of him, or so help me, the furthest reaches of heaven will not spare you from my wrath.” Dani does not question this statement and instead follows his little brother to the house. Once inside he settles on to the couch and waits for his younger sibling to finish interacting with the angel so he can take over watch. Once Kuro locates Aoba he takes hold of the smaller male's shoulders and looks down into those sapphire gems Aoba calls eyes and smiles softly, but seriously.

“Little Mouse, listen. I have to go for a while. It shouldn't be longer than an hour, but I'll be leaving you alone with Dani. I don't want you to act skittish around him, he hates that. Just head to the field and dig up weeds or something. I put the fear of Satan into him, and as long as you don't trip one of his land mines, everything will be fine. But even if you do, he won't lay a hand on you. Promise.” Without giving the angel a chance to respond he leans in and places a soft kiss on the boy's lips before turning and leaving, slipping out the back door. Once outside he takes off, not wanting to open a gate too close to the farm. Once far enough away, he rips open a portal in mid air and heads into hell.
Rei wakes up briefly when he feels someone enter his ward's room, and again when they leave. The second time he stays awake a bit longer, his magic detecting someone right outside his room for a short period of time. In his half sleep state he easily identifies both person's as nonthreatening and manages to fall right back to sleep after the second person leaves. He has a fleeting though of how disturbing it would be growing up with people constantly coming around when one's asleep, however that thought is quickly muffled down by a mix of sleep and the understanding that every person is different. In other words, it is normal for a man in his station.

The final invasion into the prince's room rouses Rei from his sleep for the day and with a light sight he rolls about a few times before practically slithering out of bed. Making sure his headband is in place the fae pokes at his clothes and wonders how often he is expected to change clothes during the week. Most humans perspire a lot more than a fae, so they change clothes at least once a day, however other than the time under the direct sun Rei has as of yet to actually sweat in his clothing. 'It would be interesting to try on something different however. I should ask if I could obtain more clothing like this, perhaps in different colors. . .'

As he thinks about the color it occurs to him that the tunic matches the colors he sees hanging on the walls all over the castle and on most of the guards. 'Well, perhaps he would not permit other colors. I have seen that wearing the colors of a particular family marks them as property of the family and this affords them some kind of protection' His head tilts this way and that, wondering over things of no real consequence until at last he decides it's time to climb into his clothes and wait for breakfast. Once everything but his boots are on he wanders over to the window and opens it wide. The smell of the air and the feel of it on his skin reminds him that he needs to ask the prince to spend a little time in the garden on days that they do not go to the countryside.

After a few bland minutes of staring a knock comes on his chamber door and he is snapped back out of his mind. Wandering over he once more startles the servant carrying his morning meal. It is a different servant this time, a middle aged male, and by his motion as the door opens it is easy to surmise that he'd been listening against the wood. Once the man recovers he's struck dumb for a moment as he catches sight of Rei's wide staring eyes. Without a word Rei steps back, keeping his eyes on the man out of habit and after another handful of second he manages to get his feet moving and walks it to deliver the meal.

Once out of the room the servant all but dashes down the hall and for several long seconds Rei looks after him wondering if he's going to have to ask the prince how not to terrify the help unintentionally. 'Not that I mind, it makes me more intimidating, however if this keeps up they may run out of people who are willing to deliver my breakfast. I could always go down to the kitchen, but I do not think that would be well received. Also, it would take me too far from the prince so early in the morning' With a slow blink he slips back into his room and wanders over to the table. Once more he takes the meat and sets it aside to cool, this time focusing on the fruits first and foremost.

The small fae clings to his bag tightly, eying the human sitting next to him with both curiosity, and a healthy dose of mistrust. He's only been riding with the man for about an hour, the driver having spotted him walking down the road barefoot and taking pity on him. Though he feels grateful for the help, he does not trust the man. He reaches up often to the floral wreath he made himself to cover his ears, knowing that humans hate his kind. He knows this. Humans hate fae, it's just a fact, and a part of him seriously wonders just what would happen to him if this seemingly kind man found out what he truly is.

The man on the other hand, slightly intoxicated but sober enough to drive his cart in a straight line, finds the little boy's actions quite amusing. The way he clings to his bag, like it contains all his possessions in the world. The way he touches the wreath, like it would be a downright tragedy if it so much as slipped slightly out of place. He finds the whole thing quite funny. After about an hour on the bumpy road, the sun slowly creeping over the horizon, the driver reaches over and tries to playfully ruffle the boy's hair, with quite surprising results.

With a yelp the boy practically flies off the cart. The man tries to call him back, to apologize, however without warning the boy seems to vanish from view. It's not completely impossible, there are a few large rocks and some tall grass to hide in, however to his slightly buzzed mind the driver mutters something about it being unnatural before snapping his team back into motion. Meanwhile the child watches him leave from within a tuft of grass just large enough for him to vanish into, his breath slowing as he manages to get a hold of himself. He knows he over reacted, however his fear overrode his sense and in that instant, he couldn't stop himself.

With a light huff he stands up carefully as the cart moves too far off to possibly be a threat any more and with a steadying breath he feels out which direction he should go. His head turns this way and that like a radar dish searching for a signal, and when at last he finds his direction he's off at a slow but steady pace. Figuring he would have had to get off the cart eventually anyways he consoles himself in that fact and heads out over the grassy plain and away fro the road.
His eyes drop to his feet for a moment, a few muttered nonsensical noises finding their way out of him as the demon points out the obvious. However Amano is unable to come any real conclusions before he feels himself being ushered off to the side of the road. 'What? What is. . .Did I do something wrong?' His hear beat speeds up as they slip into an alley and he is turned to face the taller male. An unnatural dark settles around them and in the back of his mind the youth wonders if there is some sort of magic at work. Perhaps some kind of cloak the demon can pull for shady dealings or to simply hid his actions. However he does not link on the matter consciously, far too focused on his ever raising heart beat and the beautiful face staring at him so intently.

He can feel his tongue wanting to slide down deeper into his throat as he manages to keep his gaze locked with the demon's. His body trembles slightly at the hot touch of the man's fingers, somehow feeling far warmer than they should but at the same time completely normal for Illiendi. That touch, not unwelcome, but not something Amano has yet to have the proper reference to figure out just how it makes him feel. The touch of claws force his head up higher, turning his upward glance through his lashes to a straight on gaze. He can feel his skin jumping at the touch but he manages not to react beyond a hard swallow as he listens to Illiendi speak.

The very sound of his voice send an odd sensation through his body, however each time that word falls from the demon's lips the almost familiar shiver seems to give him strength. His lips feel dry and he wants desperately to wet them, however as that curved claw slips across the delicate flesh of his cheek, pressing into his bottom lip ever so gently he refrains, instead focusing on trying to speak. 'He wants me to say something, he needs an answer. He. . .I can feel my body, my mouth, wanting to form those words he has given me. . . But I. . . .' Taking in a shuddering breath his right hand slides up his body slowly, the trembling mass almost tickling as it moves higher and higher, until it rests over the seal.

After another breath he manages to form the words settling on his mind. “I am a lord, by law, and eventually, by design. However, I am not your lord. I. . .I am. . .Your master.” He manages a light nod even with his chin being held. “I am your master, for as long as this. . . .whatever it is lasts. . . .This contract. . .” Still shaking lightly Amano wonders about a million things at once, not the least of which is how the demon will react. Not only did he not say the words as Illiendi seemed to want to hear them, but he rambles on a bit at the end sounding much like the trembling young fool he is rather than the lord he's trying to be. He even feels a little proud that he was able to say his piece without his knees buckling but as his hand falls back to his side he wonders if such a happening isn't imminent.
Oki, looks good. I'ma be making my posts in the next hour, just so you know :P
Dar manages to flip his lower body around before he is dropped unceremoniously on the floor by his new owner. He shakes it off carefully, wondering what he'd done to deserve the treatment. 'Well, that was uncalled for. Unless I did something. . .I can't think of anything. . . .I know humans do not like dung on their things, or pee, but I am very clean! Oh, perhaps it's my fur. . .'[/u] While the beast tries to figure out what he did wrong he ignores the prince for the most part. When the prince spoke again however he turned respectfully to look. [i]'My space I suppose?' He wanders over to check out his small little home, snuffling at it curiously.

'If he wants me off his, bed did he call it? Then I am content here' Pawing at it lightly he looks back over at the man, cocking his head to the side. 'Well, he's laughing. I know that's a good sound' Noticing some funny smells on his paws from where the boy grabbed him Dar begins trying to lick them away. However he is interrupted from his task by once more being hoisted up into an uncomfortable ride. Soon he find himself dangling over a pond, his paws barely touching the water, the warming air sending him many different scents from around the area.

He doesn't have long to appreciate the smell though as after a moment he is dropped into the water. Dar is a very good swimmer so he is in no danger of drowning, however the suddenness of it does send him under water for a moment. Once he's above the water again he shakes his head hard and snorts out the water from his nose. His dense fur allows him to float rather easily and soon he begins paddling around the small water source. 'He must have thought me filthy. Well, I was cleaning my paws. Maybe that's why he pulled me off the bed? He thought I was dirty? Anyways, this is nice. . . .' The cool water does feel good on his skin and after a few circles he turns back to the price and yaps happily.
This is a one-on-one RP between PopeAlessandros and tenebrae16. Not us, don't post. Also, M/M, don't like, don't read!

Base Idea:

The war between heaven and hell has been raging for centuries, and the soldiers no longer really have the fire that they use to. All thins seem to be out of duty, and loyalty alone. The earth has become rather desolate, humans having reduced to small compounds here and there across every nation. A few towns still survive on their own out in the wasteland and act as filling stations for travelers and caravans traveling from one compound to to the next. On one small town, a demon has taken up the position of an acolyte at the local parish. He has no interest in become a priest, but it's the best way to avoid fighting. He's tired of it. One day, an angel realizes that there is a demon the the church and rushes in to defend it. When he finds the demon, he is so shocked to see him working like a normal human being that he hides himself, taking up the guise of a human, and waits to speak with him privately. The demon confides in the angel, giving him his reasons for what he's doing, and pleads for him to let him be. The angel, confused, leaves the demon be, but he also as a true believer in the war, begins to question his own convictions.

I can play the warrior angel :P So, you want to start with fleshing out the plot, or would you rather get the setting a little more solidified?
