*Stares at feet* Sorry. . . .

Personally, I think, it should be either or. EITHER, they follow the noninterference policy to the letter, OR, they should induct every single new race into the empire as soon as it's discovered. But that's just me :P

I like my democracy, but for the love of all things Holy, let's not get into real world politics.

Okay! So, what do you want me to run down next?
I can see that. It works for me. Do you want me to drop the empty template again or do you wanna grab it yourself from the other thread? I should have my character dome some time tonight, if not tonight then tomorrow definitely.
Yup, definitely immortal, and the ability to change physical appearance to suit their needs. Including changing how old they look. I should be able to get my character up some time tonight. . If not, then tomorrow for sure.
Slipping into one of his velvet like suits, resistant to scratches and bites for the most part, a mischievous gleam shines in Alexi's eyes. 'Oh ho? Sounds like I am going to have some fun here. Chocolate aside, which of course has so many fun ways to be served, I think I want to show him how the upper crust does seafood. Though I do not want to be completely snooty, so a milder set-up. . .' His outfit is surprisingly simple for how flamboyantly bedecked he normally is, his underclothes made of tough but still comfortable material while the velvet deep purple suit feels warm and cuddly. Closing the wardrobe Alexi gives Erik a smile before wandering over to where he dropped his phone.

'I should give him a call to figure out how long I am going to be working with the new slaves, and let him know that I am feeling better. . . .In a way' Digging around in the folds of his clothing he finally locates the little handful of technology, plopping down on his bed as he flips it open.
-Hi Joseph. Feeling better. How many new ones today?-
Flipping it closed he slips it into his pocket before standing up. Looking over at his guest he tilts his head. “I am going to head down to the kitchen, see what is on the menu for dinner, then attend to a few house duties. Joseph should be back soon with some new slaves, and I will have to take care of that before coming back for the evening. It may take a while, but I promise to try and come back for dinner. I think it would be nice to share at least one meal a day.”

Sliding over to another member of the rescue team Mois lends a hand moving a particularly heavy bit of debris off the mangled body of one of the factory workers. 'This was a really well made bomb. Only a handful of survivors thus far, but there's still the basement. That's the shelter area. We should find a good number of slaves down there. . .' The elder Vandros reviews the scene with a kind of detachment that many of his fellows find enviable. He works hard, his hair sweat slicked and plastered across his forehead and neck, his jacket lost somewhere and his sleeves pushed up high.

When he had arrived at the sight he had taken a moment to simply look, to take it all in. The factory was completely destroyed. Not even a single support beam had survived the blast. At first he'd been confused. Alexi has excellent precautions in place against bombs, however as the techs began reconstructing the explosion it became clear that the bomb had come from the outside. 'An air strike, of all things. Where did they manage to get a hold of missiles? It's not like they're common or anything, and they haven't been used in a very long time. Even after finding them though, they would need a launcher. Those were even rarer. . .' His thoughts on the matter tumble over and over as he works beside the other police and rescuers.
His boots click on the hard stone floors, the empty front hall echoing with the sound. 'Oh boy, Pops is more upset than Dani said. This place is never empty unless Pops is on a rampage. . .' Swallowing hard Kuro slips quickly through the black stone hallways, the usual decorations either removed or burned, it's hard to tell, but when at last he reaches his father's bedroom it is clear that it's the latter. Piles of ash start about a dozen yards from the door, meaning the demons who normally clean the palace refused to get close during their rounds. 'This. . . .This is going to hurt' Still several paces from the door he can tell Pops is expecting him as they creek open slowly.

Holding back a whine threatening to eek out of him, the youngest son of Satan steps into his father's room and falls completely still. Despite the devastation outside the room, the inside looks completely normal. Well, normal for Lucifer. There are flowers of all types in vases here and there, the floor is covered in animal furs, and his bed is almost perfectly made. The only slight flaw is the body stretched out on it. Kuro can feel those deep green eyes gazing at him through the dark shroud draped around the bed and he has to keep himself from jumping out of his skin when the door slams behind him. The fire cracking in the hearth pops loudly and Kuro looks towards it for an instant.

When he looks back towards the bed he freezes. There, standing not two inches from him, is his father. It takes all of his willpower to not flee the room, or at least try to. Instead he looks up very slowly at the angel's face. His father is bare, as he normally is in his own room, and his long golden locks that brush his feet when he walks are slightly tangled at the ends. Another indicator of how upset he is. 'I am gonna kill Dani when I get back. There is no way he missed how pissed Pops is. . .' Gazing up at that beautiful, well chiseled fact, the very epitome of male beauty, Kuro knows he is quite thoroughly, boned.

An instant after meeting his father's gaze he is sent flying across the room. The blow to the head splits his brow causing his blood to trickle down, obscuring his vision. The following beating is far tamer than he expected, but it is enough so that when the angel throws him on to the soft surface of his very plush bed he feels like all of his bones are broken. However despite the pain he welcomes the feeling of the slightly smaller male settling down against his side, that golden head coming to rest on his chest along with one hand that proceeded to poke at one of his broken ribs. Kuro sucks it up and just waits for Pops to talk first. It takes a few minutes but finally he says, in that soft lyrical voice, “You've been playing with your brother. . .Which means you went to see him first. . .”

Kuro swallows hard again. “Yeah Pops, sorry. I had something important to deal with that couldn't wait, and he sought me out before I could come see you. . .” He is cut off by a harsh snarl.

Pushing himself up, paying no heed tot he groan as he puts pressure on the injured boy's chest, he glares down at his son with pure wrath. “Those filthy cousins of mine had you! They stole you up there! I will tear that place down from th-”

Knowing that his father needs to calm down, and how to do it, Kuro does exactly that. Pushing the hand off his chest he works through the pain and quickly flips the Adonis on to his back. Pressing firmly against him he gives his father a kiss no human or angel would condone giving one's parent, but is exactly what Lucifer needed to regain his senses. After a few seconds of this Kuro feels the male responding and pulls back. Lucifer has an almost goofy grin on his face before slapping his son hard enough to knock him clear off the bed. “Bad boy. . .” he murmurs softly, rolling on to his side so he can see the mass of pain curled up on the floor.

“Ow. . .” is Kuro's only response. Lucifer chuckles and rolls out of bed, pulling his little boy to his feet. Giving the taller male a polite kiss on the cheek he wanders across the pottery shard strewn floor and settles down at his vanity. Spotting the angel pouting in the mirror Kuro hobbles over and takes the large brush off the vanity and begins brushing out the tangles. “Pops, I'ma tell you what happened, but I'm going to lie about parts of it.” The father nods in understanding and listens silently as Kuro bushes his hair to shinning. He tells the whole tale, beginning to end, leaving out how close he got to the medi angel, and how he actually helped him directly, instead saying he knocked the guards and the boy out before hunting down his pendant.

Satan spots the lies easily, but because Kuro was up front about them he doesn't ask about them. He has a distinct respect for honest lairs. Once his hair is done he fluffs it out with his fingers before standing up and turning to give Kuro a hug. “Don't ever let that happen again or I will come up there, get you, and put you in the flaying pit. Got it?” The taller male nods, believing him completely, and returns the embrace. When the nude man steps back Kuro gives him a smile and thumbs up.

“Well Pops, I have to get the hell out of hell. I have some business to attend to, and you have a castle to refill with eye candy.” Lucifer giggles and nods, blowing him a kiss before simply watching his youngest flee out of the room.

'Hmmm. . . .I've never seen him so compliant. . .Almost like he really just wanted to get out of here. . .I'll have to send Issho after him some time. . .' Suddenly those parting words about eye candy completely distracts the devil and he is off running through the halls, his long simple flowing white robes springing into existence as he exits the room at a run.

Kuro is already out the front door and making his way towards a good exit point by this time and as he looks to the fire and rock filled sky he murmurs, “Almost back, just wait. . .”

Gerard can feel his heart beat picking up. Despite his small stature the demon lets off a very thick aura. 'This one here is at least as strong as the other. But, it seems like he's at least willing to stand down a little bit if Aoba asks him. Swallowing he battens down his courage, unwilling to back down in the face of a little demon. “Now now, if you're the child's friend you'd want him to live a happy life, right? He's an angel for goodness sake! He doesn't belong with demons!” His tone is steady and fatherly. Dani shakes his head hard, unwilling to hear what the man has to say.
I can agree to that.

I'm glad you like the idea.

Oohhhh, fun idea! I am running another RP where both me and my partner have two main characters. Wanna do that here since you already have two characters in mind?
The newborn would be almost feral when my guy finds it, which means it would have to have been in the woods a while, and with a vampire's healing ability. . .He could have been abused to make him stay put when he was dumped because a fresh vampire has the innate urge to follow their sire. So if you want, he could have been beaten back when he was dumped and recall it later.

We could go with both brothers were turned, but only the missing brother was kept for some nefarious reason to be figured out later :P

Just gonna drop this here. It's the empty profile I made for characters that I use -

Not saying you have to use my template, just putting it out there. However if you don't give me all the info I ask for on the template I will end up asking you a lot of questions, or if you use your own template and you compact some of the sections(Like simply putting all physical factors under one heading "Appearance") I will likely take your profile and put it on my layout so I can find the information more quickly. Oh, and I have a moral opposition to using picture on profiles unless it was specifically drawn FOR your character. So, yeah. . . .I won't be using one :P
Rue lets out a yelp as yet another kick lands on his ribs, propelling his small body halfway across the room. His crying is drowned out by the sounds of laughter echoing around the room. Gin glares at the boy, rather confused at how a little non fighter like him can be so resistant to his “persuasion” technique. “Tough little runt, eh?” he says loudly, playing to the crowd. Much like the spectators for the gladiator games in ancient Rome the howling and blood lust is almost deafening. Rue curls on to his side, praying desperately that Mister Seishu and Lord Enasi haven't left the realm yet, and that they are coming for him. In the corner of the room a shadow shifts, and vanishes.

~*~*~*~*~

One of the stranger sights in the nightmare realm is Tyar in flight. Normally, it would just stay in normal shadow for and be thing shapeless mass whipping around like a cloud on speed, however this time in order to hide it's real form it becomes a gargoyle before launching into the air. After Enasi's question Seishu did not reply, going over scenario after scenario, trying to pin something solid in place besides his first thought. Something that would work just as well, but perhaps be less dangerous. 'I know what I have to do, why and I hesitating!? It's the best plan. Dangerous, foolish, but the most likely for success! GAH!' While his internal screams go one and on Tyar flies up to them.

The two stop in a over to wait for him, Seishu still mostly lost in thought. Once Tyar is on the level with them he makes his report. “He's in the main hall. Gin isn't getting creative yet, so he's still able to fly from what I've seen. He'd just need a boost from Lord Enasi.”

Seishu nods as a thank you and Tyar smiles a big snaggle tooth grin before settling in to wait for orders. The Nightmare Guardian knows the longer they wait, the worse off they are, however it isn't until he actually looks at the sad package in his arms that he makes his decision. With a sigh his expression becomes hard. “The best way to get out of this unscathed is if we take them by surprise. Enasi,” he looks at the red head, still in commander mode, “I want you to start compacting all your energy, tightening it up, but build it at the same time. Every little positive emotion you can muster. You, are going to turn into a bomb.”

Looking to the other two he nods sharply. “You two will stay by my side. After I drop him I will shield us, but just long enough for the wave to begin dissipating. Get ready and be prepared for the sickness. Because you'll be expecting it, it shouldn't hurt you as much. You two will take to the halls, approaching from the sides, taking the slightly longer way into the main hall. Everyone should be laid out, but just in case, Enasi and I will take the main hallway into the hall as a distraction. It is you two's job to get, him, out. You grab that little fairy and get out of the palace. Between us, Enasi and I will be able to get out and follow you.” Pointing with his head towards the palace he continues.

“Gin is clever in some respects, but his leadership and tactical are sub par at best. We'll head first towards the mountains, then double back at blood rock and take the blaze forest all the way back to the carion caves. They run right beneath the palace. He has never been able to imagine such a thing as staying close to your enemy. Even before he betrayed me, now that I think on it, it is clear now that he was withdrawing from me.” There is a faint tinge of sympathy in the minion's eyes, however they continue listening intently, their own examples of the truth of his words running through their heads.

“Once in there we'll find a nice little alcove and spend the rest of the day, and through the night. By then Enasi should have recovered enough for us to head back. You'll report back to camp, move it only if you have to, and let everyone know I miss them already.” The two minions nod, taking their orders without question. Looking to Enasi Seishu's eyes soften ever so slightly. “I have gone over a thousand scenarios. This is the best shot we got. You'll be weak afterwords, but I've built up a lot of energy and recovered a lot while I've been here. I'm still only about sixty percent, but it's more than enough to pull this off.” Leaning in he gives Enasi a kiss before pulling back and waiting for his response. “We can't do this unless you agree though, so tell me, are you willing to risk it?”

~*~*~*~*~

As he steps out of the room the little nightmare minion knows something is up. The sound of rushing feet can be heard in the distance in just about ever direction. His eyes narrow as he looks about, trying to find someone to ask about what's going on. However ever time he gets a glimpse of someone, they suddenly seem to suddenly have something important to do. 'What the heck is going on here!? I know they all are kinda freaked out by me now, but they have never avoided me to this extent before!' He can almost feel his fangs grow in his mouth as he pulls his lips back into a slight snarl. His head snaps up a moment later, hearing familiar voices.

Quickly he races off towards them, skidding to a halt just out of sight when he hears Rue's name mentioned. His hands come up to cover his mouth, the negative energy coming off all three of them enough to let him know that this is not a simple worry but at least in Rasha's case down right panic. 'He's freaking out, this must be bad, what's happening!?' Doing his best to not start panicking himself Inui races back to Seishu's room. With the wards in place he's able to let out his own negative energy without hurting anyone.
I said on the whole. Yeah, that last race not so much, but the Vollori also fall into that category as well with the way they manage their race. Kinda like a Borg collective. I'll talk about the individual government things I saw later. :P

Oh, and it makes perfect sense, but at the same time, like I said, I'm bit Trekkie in mentality and find that if the reason for breaking the law is. . . .Hmm, how to put this. . . . .Selfish is the wrong word, but it's the first one that jumps to mind. It's invading them because it's what the empire wants/needs rather than doing it to make the beings on the planet’s life better. See what I'm saying? If the reason is not a kindness toward the people on the planet, it's setting a bad example. Not saying it's a major downfall or anything, just a personal perspective on it.

Also, on the hive mentality thing. . .It's not exactly meant as a mean thing. While the Borg are definitely bad guys, the fact that your empire makes me think of them raises a question in the back of my mind at the moral implications of how your empire works. It also makes me think of the word communism, and as a human who knows humans can not work for our race, it makes me wonder how we AS humans would be able to relate to these characters and they way they think. Don't get me wrong, communism works on a very small scale, but once you go over a certain number of people, humans no longer can function in such a society :P Also, not saying the empire is a communist society, it just makes me think of one.

Heh, TShara actually got mad at me when I said these things about your empire, mostly because of that first though up there in my last post on what you see as a perfect society :P Got in a debate about people's writing revealing things about them, and she thought I was insulting you. I didn't show her the thing you sent me, just made some offhanded comments.

We can move on if you have nothing to say about above :P

Not saying you have to use this, however if you use your own template and it doesn't have all the info I will be asking a lot of questions to fill in my mental blanks, and if you do have all the info but the info is compacted(As in several of the sections I have up there are all put into one para, eg., "Appearance" to cover all physical attributes) I will likely put all your info into my template and drop in it the first post for easy reference for me. Oh, and I am morally opposed to using pictures unless the picture was specifically drawn for your character.

Now, on to your question. Hmmmm. . . . .I'd say they are impervious to the weapons of man, the wings can be made invisible, and I like the idea of them being able to summon their weapons as oppose to having them strapped on somewhere. Strong, but say a mob of people could pin our guys down, but stuff like ropes do nothing. Chains. . .Depends on thickness, however the weapons can cut through just about any substance. Anything not heaven or hell made. Your thoughts?
