No problem, sank yu for the edit!
Just oooooonnneee little thing I will request :P Rue was suppose to tell Enasi something once he was feeling better. He ran off without doing it, what that intentional, or. . . . . .?
Oh Gog, I'm responding with such short responses today. . . .But all these situations call for it! *Mopes about* Sorry it's so short! I hope I gave you stuffs to reply to :P
With a chuckle Kiel pours the first pancake on to the the freshly melted butter. “Yes, I can see how the quiet is comforting. After being out on the streets all day, I always get to come back to my nice quiet house. I guess I've never had to deal with the noise too long, heh.” The butter sizzles as he flips the pancake and glances over at the boy as he stabs up some bacon and eggs. 'He seems to be feeling better today. I'm glad. He'll have to stay here until I find out who has it out for him. I hope he's not too opposed to being cooped up in this little house. I suppose he can explore the grounds a bit, but he should be careful not to be in the front where he could be spotted from the streets' Kiel is brought out of his musing as he notices the boy is staring at him.

After a moment the question registers and he chuckles again. “Do what feels right to you. Just because I'm a priest doesn't mean I think everyone needs to think like I do. I know a lot of youths who have lost their faith, or never had any, but I will help them all the same.” With that he scoops up the pancake and settles it on a separate plate. Next to the plate is a bottle of maple syrup which he taps with the spatula. “Syrup for fee use.” he says happily, glad that he thought to get a new bottle recently. As he pours the next cake he glances over at Zach. 'I think it's a little too soon to ask about his home life, but maybe I can get some clues to where to start looking' Looking back to his cooking he asks, “So, Zach, where did you take to bedding down when you got to town. I've been on the streets long enough to know all the locals. I hope you didn't have to travel too far.” He winces slightly at his slip-up and hopes the boy doesn't see his statement as a way to fish for information he wasn't ready to give yet.
I know, I know, kinda short, but it was just soooo perfect! In my head at least, I hope you like it :P More over, I hope Gilbert finds it interesting enough :P
Some part of him knew when he loosed his first arrow that he was sealing his own fate. However even as the foul beast speaks, spelling out his pitiful situation with relish, and in near complete accuracy he feels no fear. 'What I did was foolish, and in the end, pointless. It is true that I will spend the rest of what very well is almost guarantied to be a hopelessly short life kicking myself for doing it, but for some reason, that doesn't seem to bother me' His bow lowers ever so slowly as the beast goes on, the obvious pleasure he's taking in his self serving monolog making the elf's stomach turn, but he says not a word. He doesn't curse the necromancer's name, nor spew profanities in some sad attempt to make himself feel better. He doesn't have to.

He does indeed hear the mindless beasts approaching, but he feels no panic, no terror at the thought of so many undead racing to their master's aid. Instead a calm settles upon him and as the beast, Gilbert he calls himself, finishes his foul ego stroking. His hands move smoothly to unstrung his arrow and replace it in his quiver. He takes a single step to the side so he can set his bow out of the way, and in another smooth motion he removes his daggers. Placing them next to his bow he steps away from them. The mob is only a few seconds away now, but still, he remains in a state of calm he never knew one could reach before this very moment. 'I imagined I'd be much more angry at this point. True, deep inside I knew I would never leave these lands should I actually see this creature's face, but I guess I had the hope. Or more likely, the rage, to mask this knowledge' His eyes trail over to the elf and he says a silent prayer for his soul, though it is long gone from this world.

His eyes glide over to the man using his now undead servant as a set and just before the door flies open letting in a stream of undead he give the man a smile of victory. An instant later several undead take hold of him, twisting his arms behind his back and forcing him to his knees. He closes his eyes, smile still in place though it flickers when one pulls on his hair, forcing his head back. He feels cold steel on his exposed throat but instead of it slicing into him, ending his life, the one holding it speaks. “Master, what shall we do with him?” His smile widens ever so slightly. Indeed, what is to be done with him?
No problem. I just wanted to know because I know I have a habit of making epicly long posts if my partner's character isn't going to be around for a while(Maybe not in this RP yet, but it has happened :P) and it felt kinda odd when you weren't using the side characters as much as I tend to. As a standing rule for me, unless I say different here for a specific post, all side characters are free for everyone to use, and don't worry about leaving something for me to post. I can always make new ones if you're busy with another one. (Thinks up venomous fight between Seishu and the Sheep doc) Ah, that would be funny. . . . .
Tatsuki works quickly, humming to himself softly to keep his rhythm. 'Just to be on the safe side, I won't go too exotic, but I'm sure it will be okay' In his head he begins going over all his dishes, marking down what he's making, what is done for each dish, and what still needs to be done. 'Cutlets are fried, and their mushroom sauce topping as well as the shredded beats on stuffing to go on the side of them. I still need those noodles to finish boiling for the pasta dish, and the sauce still needs diced celery. I can have Shigetoshi do that when he gets back since they need to be added right near the end of cooking and I'm not quite there yet' He casts about real quick to locate the innkeeper and chuckles as he finds him surrounded by the girls who had him pinned earlier in the day. 'Too bad I can't go rescue him, then we could be a little more even'

Placing one of the sauces on the back burner to simmer he moves over to the pan with the cubed pork in it. 'Keeping these evenly cooked but not over cooked isn't easy, but they are coming along nicely' His hand flies over the pan as he sprinkles in some flavoring. The flavoring lands on the meat and in the butter surrounding it, turning the yellow liquid faintly orange as he tilts the pan around, mixing in the seasoning. He begins flipping the cubes just as he feels Shigetoshi walk in. 'Ah, perfect timing' he thinks with a smile. Without missing a beat in his flipping he responds to the boy's inquiry while keeping his eyes on he meat sizzling in the pan. “You most certainly can help. That celery on the table, I need it diced, about five stalks should be good, them stirred into that red sauce on the back burner.” Slipping around Shigetoshi he checks the noodles and with a nod moves on to the sauce for the final dish.

“Once you’re done with that it will need to simmer a few more minutes. While it's doing that I need the noddles here drain and placed on the table so I can finish up on them, and after that, if you could take that red lettuces and make little bowels with the leaves for this last dish here.” He pauses a moment and glances over at Shigetoshi. “Just take three of the leaves, lay them on atop the other in a circular fashion without laving a gap in the middle. I set out separate plates for them. We'll need one bowel per group, so four or five depending on if you will consent to eat with me so as to keep me from getting cornered again.” he adds that last part with a smile and turns back to the thick mixture in the pot before him.
I only had a section for Rue because Seishu isn't doing anything worth talking about, I hope you don't mind. Also, just wondering, is there any specific reason you've left the majority of side character interaction up to me other than Harper? I mean, the whole exchange at the rift could have been done by you, as well as this last part with Rue. I feel kinda bad as if I've taken control of the primary side characters, and have this vague feeling that you may not want me to touch Harper. I may be completely wrong, but I was just wondering.
Rue sobs a little longer before finally gathering himself up enough to pull back. He leans back just far enough to look up into the guardian's face, arms still clutching his lord's sides. After a few steadying breaths he takes one big one and begins speaking. “I know I don't have to, but I should, because what I did made you hurt. I didn't blame you, and I don't, and I should have done my part as one of yours to make sure I didn't do anything to make you sad.” Hiccuping slightly he continues. “I know you were worried and I shouldn't have hung close to Seishu for comfort, when that's your job not his. And I shouldn't have turned away to begin with. I mean, I meant well, I didn't want you to feel responsible for what happened since it's just as much my fault for charging in close to him when it was obvious he wouldn't be in the mood to have anyone that close. I was being foolish, so you shouldn't feel bad about my injury, even though Seishu is right and you were being forgetful too.”

Smiling up at Enasi he hardly seems to take a breath as he rambles on. “I mean, I forget things all the time, and if got as sad as you when I goof up every time I think I'd just die after five or six times, and that would be bad. But you don't make mistakes all that much, and it's not like you you did anything bad. Forgetting isn't something to get all worked up about.” Releasing Enasi with one hand he reach up to cut his scared cheek. “The doctors didn't do a bad job, I asked them to let me have this scar. See, Seishu says that all of his scars are reminders of really important things, and because of them he never makes the same mistake twice, and since it was my mistake that gave me this burn, I think it'll do the same for me.” He stops just long enough to giggle before adding, “Beside I think it makes me look cool!”

Before Enasi can reply Rue starts right back up. “One more thing Lord Enasi, because I want you to know how I feel.” His expression becomes very serious as he speaks. “I really wanna stay with Mister Seishu for now, maybe for as long as he's here. He looked so happy when you mentioned that guy who sent the message, I know he may not be nice, but he cares about them over there a lot, and they obviously care about him a lot. He said they wouldn't have gotten through so fast if it wasn't a rescue, and when he talks about them over there I can see how worried he is.” Looking down at his feet his voice drops ever so slightly. “I may not be able to be one of them, but he's so alone here, and everyone else either hates him or is afraid of him, and that just makes me so sad. He seems happy when I can sit and listen to him, and we share a sense of humor, so I think that if I can at least offer those little kindnesses to him, he'll be less lonely and maybe recover faster.” His expression still very serious he looks back up into Enasi's eyes. “You are my lord, Lord Enasi, but for a little while, I would like permission to be with Mister Seishu when I'm not needed.”

His face slips into a somewhat amused grin as he adds, “Besides, even if you said no, we both know I would find my way in there.” Then suddenly as if a thought struck him he says with a full blown grin, “Oh, and Mister Seishu is the one who sent me. I think he's worried about you, and he says when you're feeling better that I'm suppose to tell you something.” He adopts a confused expression. “He said he could tell you're upset because of some sort of Guardian thing, I wonder what he meant. . . .” His voice trails off and at last he falls silent.
