It will go whatever way we set it to. :P So, where would YOU like it to go?
Posted! Yays! Hope you enjoy :P
Amano, whose heart flutters violently every time the beast Illiendi calls him 'Master, swallows hard as he listens closely to the other. Even as he listens though he can not help his thoughts wandering here and there over various things. 'This is really happening. He's completely serious about serving me, and I just know that this is going to change my life forever. To think something as vile as other people's selfish ambitions would lead to me finding a way to rise above my birth place' His own words seem to have some secret meaning to the man across from him, and even as he speaks them he wonders just what the creature can glean from his simple, sheepish admissions. 'His smile looks less like the cat who got the cream and more like the dragon who slew his foe and got the horde. It is like speaking with something that I can not understand nor control. . . Except I can. I feel like I am at his whim, however he reminds me often that it is the other way around'

He nods once again about the ship arrangement, along with the crew. 'I should have known better. No. . .I should not think like that. I am learning, I should feel no shame in not knowing something. He did not make fun of me for not knowing, he simply corrected me. It's far more comforting that what my tutors have always done' As he speaks about his weapon training and Illiendi instructs him in the matter he keeps his focus solely on his companion. 'I have a back holster for the dagger, so concealing it should not be difficult. I always keep the rapier in top condition, however I will polish it tonight and hunt through the family storage for a worthy sheath. My training one will never do, if I am taking Illiendi right. If I can not find a good one in the home, it should not cost too much to purchase one when we are preparing tomorrow' His hand comes unconsciously up to his chest where the brand still tingles lightly in his flesh. This habit is one he falls into quickly, though it will take him a long time to notice.

When the man laughs, Amano's head ducks even lower, though even from the shortened vantage pint he can see an almost chill run through the crowd and the back chatter fades fro a moment as each person recovers from it. 'He really is amazing, and so strange. I am glad he is on my side' His eyes find Illiendi's even as he reaches forward to bring the boy's head up with long slender fingers. The word 'Master' once again sends a shudder through his chest, however he keeps his focus on the man in front of him. He lets his head be lifted, straitening up his slouched from slightly. He shiver lightly, the small flickers of pride igniting in his chest with each encouragement Illiendi gives him brings a semi confident smile to his lips. The soft caress of the man's thumb across his jaw causes the smile to falter for an instant however he quells the small shot of fear that had raced through him at the touch and takes a deep calming breath.

'With this being's help, one day I will stand on my own two feet' He suppresses a giggle when Illiendi pokes him in the nose, trying to act more like a grown man. However he feels himself tempted to cower again when the tall male stands. A shot of irrational panic lances through him as the rest of the patrons vanish from view behind the man. He keeps his eyes on Illiendi's, reminding himself over and over that Illiendi is his, and he should trust that safe feeling he gets around the guy. His heart jumps to his throat as he feels the man's hands on him however he relaxes and lets himself be molded by the firm, warm fingers. 'Why does my heart race so when he is so close? I do not feel afraid, I don't think. What is it then?' In that instant Illiendi touches his bare skin and the warmth send another shot through his system. He feels the faint urge to move closer to the male, instead though he listens carefully and pulls his chest a little higher.

Turning back to the creature, his eyes somehow warm as they look upon his hansom otherworldly face, and takes the proffered kerchief. More to hide the blush he can feel burning his cheeks and neck he brings the cloth to his face and wipes away the small sheen of sweat that had gathered there in the past few minutes along with the small bit of road dust from outside. 'I need to remain calm and learn quickly. Illiendi is the perfect example, as far as I can see, of what someone who expects to always succeed should appear. While I know I should not simply copy him, making my own way as to not become just a smaller version of him, it is a good place to start' Bringing the cloth down, the flush mostly gone from his cheeks, he runs it once across the back of his neck before downing the rest of his tea and standing. Illiendi, who had been standing close beside his chair, is now bare inches from the nervous male as he turns to look up into his eyes.

“You are right.” He says softly, a note of confidence in his voice he normally only had when defending another. “I am not a mouse, but I am also no lion as of yet.” He hands Illiendi the kerchief and adds ever so softly, “But perhaps I can learn one day to be something not so frightened to be holding the leash of a wild dragon.” With that he makes his way over to server and hands him the coin to pay for his drinks. The man looks at him for a few seconds, a rather odd expression on his face. However rather than responding Amano heads for the door of the establishment and walks out into the streets. Recalling what Illiendi had said about getting a ship he turns slightly to the right and begins heading towards the docks. His stride is a little off, not use to looking like one who can hold his own, but eventually he finds a comfortable pace. The crowd quickly thins out as he heads further and further from the middle of town. Slowing slightly so he can walk and talk more easily he looks over to Illiendi and smiles.

“Sorry for acting so suddenly. I just wanted to see if I could do it.” Fighting not to duck his head down he lets out a less than humorous laugh and turns his gaze back to the road in front of them. “I noticed a lot more people looking at me than usual. It was weird, but kinda made me feel good. It was nice being noticed.” Swallowing hard he looks once more to his mentor. “I've heard my father speaking with his fellow traders on occasion, and several of them get stock from overseas. They all agreed that the best place to find a crew in this town is a Tallian's down by the docks. It's sort of a bar, but it's surprisingly strict in it's 'no brawling' rule. I guess that's why the good captains go there. They don't have to worry about a flying body spilling their drinks and having to order another one.” He smirks lightly, watching a few of the local fisherman on the side of the road by a house arguing loudly over a torn net. “I went there once after hearing about a shipment being stolen by pirates. I wanted to hear stories about it, but I was under age and got tossed out quickly.” The smell of salty air grows thicker and the sound of seagulls becomes far more prominent as they turn a corner and the docks come into view.
Heheh, a nice string of short posts :P
He lets out a soft noise when Zach mentions having to watch his back all the time. The sound is nothing intelligible, and is his effort to not sound too over protective of the young man. 'If I start molly coddling he's more likely to close up than if I treat him as if he knows how to take care of himself. Street kids feel the need to be strong all the time' He raises an eyebrow at the boy's last comment, a small twinge running through his chest. However, the twinge is truly mixed in it's effect. 'He sounds so defeated' he muses, watching the boy silently as he thinks. 'It's odd. Most kids take a while to get to know. He looks tough, so he doesn't seem to be one who's needed to rely on his looks or timidness to get by. Though, he could be kinda new, and that would explain how he has as of yet to develop a full front around others' He mentally shakes his head. 'I'm just over thinking it. It's obvious he is in need, and making an effort to get the help he needs. I should stop doubting him'

He smiles warmly at Zach, bringing a hand up to touch him on the arm gently. “I do see a lot of lost young ones in need of a little help.” He lets his hand move to his plate, turning it so the meat is closest to him. “I am always surprised at the resilience of young people. The things you all go through, and still you never lose yourselves.” He beams at his guest. “The fact that you can relax here, that you trust enough to let your guard down so quickly, only shows how your confidence is not broken. It takes more strength to trust, than to doubt.” With that he cuts a bite sized piece of meatloaf with his fork, stabs it, scoops up some mash potatoes with it, and puts the whole mess into his mouth. A bit of the gravy drips down his chin, but he ignores it in favor of pouring himself a cup of tea.
Smiling wide when Aryx accepts the offer of the bed, Viltez settling more comfortably against the table. 'He thought hard about that, I'm glad he seems comfortable here. I wonder what he's seen that makes me less than weird. He find it more fascinating than freaky. I never thought anyone would be okay with this. . . .' He nods slowly at the other man's question, still showing signs of worry on his face. With a shrug he murmurs, “I couldn't see the branch though. I guess a part of my mind could have remembered it was there, but does that mean it makes more use of my mind than I do?” The tail comes up to peek over the table as he speaks, the blade cutting slightly into the wood as the tip presses into the surface. “I don't know though. I've never had all that much control over it save for keeping it wrapped. I. . .I don't know if it works to my will or not.”

Coughing lightly he looks towards the fire. “I don't believe it would harm anybody, it's more timid than that. It. . .Wow, I guess I'm talking about it like another creature that just so happens to be attached to me, huh?” The tail moves further forward, skimming the surface of the table as it makes it's way towards the visitor's open hand. “But that's what it feels like really. It has moods, and seems to do what it wants when I'm not paying enough attention.” The blade presses flat side against Aryx's palm before snaking back up his arm. So use to the feeling of it wandering over things aimlessly Viltez doesn't notice. “I'm so scared in public of it doing something to give me away, I don't really worry much, but after that day I spent a week inside. I was trying to get my confidence of my control over it back. I think that's the only time I actually worked with it after I taught it to stay put after being dropped here. . . .”
This is where the idea of going to the human realm comes in :P It's the best Crios can come up with for getting Seishu some negative energy :P
Seishu watches silently as his counterpart vanishes beneath the surface. His mind wanders a bit as he continues to flex his legs. The ache in his lower back sends sharp spikes up his spine but he ignores it, instead focusing on making his body do what he wants it to. High above Rue looks down at him, wondering if he can hold his breath as long as Enasi. 'I have no idea, but that may be a good way to get me motivated' His eyes drift across the surface once more as the Dream Guardian comes up for a breath before diving back under. He starts to turn over just as Crios calls out in an irritated tone. Rather than yelling back he gives Rue a wink and takes a deep breath. 'I just have to be careful. Gotta stay close to him' he keeps that in mind as he dives down beneath the surface and begins swimming towards the opposite edge. Taking the pool lengthwise he reaches the other side quickly enough with minimal pain.

As he does his turn under water he flinches as the motion strains more muscles than just swimming does. After a few more strokes he realizes something. 'I am using my energy. I. . . .I must really use it all the time. It's funny. I can tell that Enasi doesn't exactly keep track of his energy, however he doesn't USE it for stuff like this. And it can't just be the pain making me use it, that would be more conscious' His eyes find the other guardian swimming bellow, still in the deep end so he's a bit of a distance away. 'I guess he's more physical than I. Now that I think about it, I normally have a good layer of energy around me with everything I do. It supplements my actions and smooths out my movements. I fly as naturally as I take a breath. . .I guess this is another thing to add to differences' Mentally sighing he makes another turn, this time openly flinching at the pain. The small level of energy enveloping him helps him hold his breath and he sets off on another lap.

Above the water Rue follows his movements, a look of pain crossing his face as the dark energy flares at the turns. The energy doesn't reach him, the look of pain is his own imagining of how much the turns must hurt to cause the flare. 'I hope he's okay down there. Lord Enasi is with him, so I guess he's alright, but what if he starting making too much dark energy and someone gets hurt again? No, that won't happen, he's stronger than that. He wouldn't do anything willingly that would hurt anyone here, unless it's at the battle. He's not evil' He smiles, drifting back and forth as he turns his eyes upon the other spectator. 'Doctor Crios seems to like him now. Well, maybe, I mean, they tease each other now and he's not really upset. Mister Seishu likes people who will tease him back and aren't afraid. Well, he told me to stay back, which he still thinks Mister Seishu is strong enough to hurt me, which I guess counts as respect I suppose'

High above Rue's mind continues to tumble as Crios leans forward to get a better look at his patient. His tail flicks slowly back and forth contemplatively and his brows furrow. When Seishu had first dipped under the water he'd almost thought something had gone wrong, however after half starting to his feet he noticed the guardian's smooth movements and settled back down. Now however he begins tensing again as the dark energy seems to spike on the turns. 'I guess he's still in quite a bit of pain. He has amazing control over his energy, Rue sleeping beside him in proof enough for me, but to lose it on something as simple as an underwater turn. . .' Letting out a sigh he looks down to his clipboard and jots down some notes. 'I can not just keep shooting him up with pain killers. . .But what's the alternative? Where can we get some negative energy? It's not like we have it just. . .laying. . . .around. . . . . .' His thought trail off as he gets and idea of how to get some negative energy into his patient.
A soft sigh leaves his lips as Alexi lowers himself into the steaming bath. He can feel a tingle of excitement as the warmth envelops him, ripples covering the pool sized bath as he chuckles lightly. After his parents had passed Alexi refurbished the house many times over, giving many parts of it an old world feel. The bath has high ceilings, pillars surrounding the three bathing pools, and the décor reminiscent of old Greece. Along the walls are frescoes of the Greek gods, the pillars gleaming marble with gold inlay in intricate design. He had hired winged servants just so that this room could be cleaned thoroughly, and safely. With another sigh he sinks lower into the water, dropping his head back as he gazes at the ceiling high above. 'I could feel the passion rolling off of him. He is so fierce and committed, and even bound, so strong. . . .' He smiles softly, letting the scalding water ease his aching muscles.

He didn't realize until this moment just how tense all the waiting and planning had made him. But now, under the soft glow of the fake wall torches, he lets himself relax for a few moment before the next phase of his plan begins. 'I have him now, and that was the easy part. Well, for me at least. I never doubted that Bro would disappoint me. He has never failed to live up to my selfish demands and foolish whims' He sits up a little straighter before pushing off the wall. He begins swimming languidly across the small pool, the water making his pale skin glisten. 'This is no whim though. This must be done, and even if it costs me what I hold most precious, second only to one, then so be it' Gritting his teeth he strikes out harder, his years of practice showing through his speed and accuracy. After a few laps around the rounded basin he steps out and charges for the next pool over.

With a rather child like grin he leaps high into the air before plunging feet first into the middle pool. The shock of icy cold refreshes him in a way nothing else ever has and when he comes to the surface he lets out a hearty laugh. 'It is time. . .' Shaking some of the water from his hair Alexi makes his way to the side of the bath and climbs out. A line of bath robes line the wall, all from different ancient cultures in color and design. Scooping up one of the many towels sitting on the bench beside them he begins drying off while pacing back and forth in front of the robes. The decision takes him several minutes, by then he is almost completely dry save for his hair, but eventually he grabs a shortish red one. The fabric is silken, gleaming slightly, with a large Chinese dragon embroidered on the back in black thread. The hems too are black, and as he slips in one and ties it shit with the black belt he smiles as he recalls how he came into possession of the robe.

'But that is a story for another time. I must focus' His smile fades, morphing into more of a smirk as he dries his hair best he can. 'This will not work if he sees me as beneath him, however I can not act better than he too much or I am sure I will just frustrate him. We need to begin talking. We must communicate' With that thoguht in mind he moves to the door leading to his bedrrom and after a calming breath he pulls the door open and enters the darker room. Towel draped about his shoulders he is careful to keep his gaze steady as he walks over to his bed. The door clicks as it closes behind him and almost as if it was a cue Alexi's eyes find those of his new acquisition’s. His smirk still in place he limbs on the the bed carefully, laying on his stomach so he can face the vampire. Propping up his head on his hands his smirk widens.

“Forgive the lateness of this, I was a bit over excited before to remember my manners. I am Alexi Vandros, feel free to call me what you like, however I will not tolerate vulgarities. I know you are far to clever to fall to such a low brow tactic.” He raises an eyebrow goodnaturedly. “I am sure you will find better ways to try and gain your freedom than upsetting me. Not that it is easy to do so.” Dropping his arms down so the lay atop one another beneath his chest he tilts his head to the side, waiting to see how the other responds.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Mois sits quietly in the silence as he waits for the family's oldest servant to appear. Many servants had come and gone from the Vandros estate, most of them gone during one rough patch a couple hundred years ago, but Joseph has always been as far as the boys are concerned. 'The manny of all mannies. No human could have kept up with us in our younger years, not with how we conspired so closely and skillfully. I swear, he could coordinate a capture strike with the servants faster than I can find someone to get me a cup of coffee at work, and there I am the boss! Well, one of the bosses' A smirk finds it's way to his lips once again as a soft chime goes off over head. 'I've told him a thousand times he can just walk right in. . .' “Come in.” he calls out.

As Joseph comes inside Mois rolls his eyes at the memory of just why he still continues to use the bell. Mois had though it was a joke at first, something offhanded that his broth mentioned. However after the fifth or sixth time the elder vampire had rung the bell he'd asked out right why. It was then that Joseph had revealed that his brother was serious when he said Mois needs a lover and that the servants should be careful when entering the small cottage. 'I can not believe Alexi actually gave that order. He does know that that was basically an announcement that I don't have one' His eyes follow Joseph's movements as he goes about his normal routine when summoned and an honest smile comes to his lips. 'Though, I don't really mind Joseph knowing, not that he didn't already. I mean, I talk to him about everything that's relevant. Sometimes I find his presence so comforting I wonder why my brother has any need of a lover'

Shaking his head slightly as the train of thought leads him to a darker chapter of Joseph's past he'd rather not think about Mois reaches out and scoops up half of his sandwich. Biting the tip off the triangle in his hand he motions fro Joseph to take a seat. Once he is seated on the two-seater he lets out a sigh and looks into the old creature's eyes. “I know I left only hours ago, but, how is he? What is happening, how is the household?” His tone while asking of his brother is honestly worried, but as he continues his tone shifts to curious.
