Wow, if there ever was a reason for understanding about late posting, that is one. I hope everything will be alright for you, and your family. I pray for your grandpa, and I want you to know there is no need to feel rushed about replying to me. I am patient, and I know RL should always take precedent. Good luck on your final(I'm sure you did fine), and with everything else!
Dorian lays still as the young one feeds, the feeling of his tongue a vaguely pleasant sensation after the shark cutting fangs. As the boy rolls off and makes for the door the elder tenses slightly and sits up. His eyes snap open and focus on James's retreating back. 'Should I just let him go? He is only couple days out of the woods, I am not sure he is safe on his own yet' A fang comes out to chew on his bottom lip as he vanishes from view, but after a few seconds he lets the abused flesh go and lets out a sigh. 'It is only across the hall, and I will be joining him soon' Standing slowly he stretches, working out the little kinks that the unfamiliar bed put into his joints and after a few short exercises he feels ready to head out. Scooping up the bath robe from two nights before, now dry, he puts it one and carefully scoops up his own clothing.

As he steps out of his room the innkeeper passes the top of the stairs on her evening rounds and with a faint smile Dorian calls out to her. She looks at him with a falsely polite smile and comes over to him quickly. “Yes m'lord? How may I help you this evening?” Her tone is sickly sweet, as if she knows she's been more than a little rude and is trying to make up for it.

He smiles back at her with his own false smile and replies, “I will be leaving very soon, and I was wondering if you would be able to procure me some supplies before we go?” Her eyes light up at the request, the service obviously taking the form of something she can charge him more for.

“Yes, of course sir! What would you like me t'fetch for you? I can have one of the night maids run for them lickety split!” There is real excitement behind her words and Dorian has to fight to not turn away in disgust.

“Just a few fresh fruits, the juicy kind, another outfit for my young friend, and some pocket handkerchiefs, if you would my dear lady. Oh, and please have them delivered to me in the stable. We should be there shortly.” He manages to not choke on the words and as she bubbles over in excitement and bows herself away to fulfill his order he wanders into the bathing area before rolling his eyes at her greediness. His head snaps around as a loud splash comes from one of the tubs and after a few seconds he chuckles as he realizes what caused it. Setting his clothes safely away from the baths Dorian pulls off his robe and lets it drop to the floor.

“You should relax Little One. It is not good to be so wound up this early in the evening.” he murmurs and makes his way over to the free bath. The floral scent makes his nose wrinkle but he climbs in none the less. The hot water envelops him and he relaxes against the side, getting comfortable on the bench before looking over to the newborn.
Sorry for the delay. You may assume Amano follows/leads your guy should you wish to move to the tavern in your post.
Still feeling a faint hum of joy from the creature's praise Amano doesn't reply right away. Instead he lets his eyes travel over the docks and surrounding buildings. As a child he had spent some time wandering around with a small group of children, exploring the area like some foreign country. At the time they young nobles had little care what anyone thought of them, so when they returned each evening, covered in dirt and filth, and smelling strongly of fish, they felt almost honored when the housekeepers and the like got upset at the mess. His head swivels slowly this way and that, recalling “the great fishery caper”, and “fisherman's last stand”. He had caused quite a bit of trouble as a child for the dock workers, however he was never the one blamed. The leader of the little group held most of the responsibility, and was the one most caught and punished.

'Even at a young age, none have really thought enough of me to take note of my deeds, whether they be good or bad. I was always at the back, always off to the side' His eyes travel once more to his companion and he feels another trickling rush of pride. 'We will change that however' Deep in his heart Amano feels no arrogance in his thinking, not believing his thoughts those of someone better than another. His pride is purely for his own sake, and for the thought of how willing he is to do that hard work. This humble pride shows in his eyes as he at last addresses the man's question, a faint warmth in his innards from being called master once more.

“I believe it best if we go together. I have seen quite a bit of bartering done by my father, and he is highly regarded in the matter so I may be able to help in that respect. However,” he looks back towards the docks, “I will take your advice when it comes to the actual selections. I'm. . .Not a people person per se, so I'm not sure I would be a good judge of such things. . .” He is careful not to drop his gaze as his instincts tell him to, but instead keeps his gaze steady with Illiendi's.
Rei's pace slows as he reaches the end of the passage, his ears picking up faint noises of discontent. Sending his magic out he does not detect any but the prince beyond the door so he does not fret. The door slides open silently, the little catch off to the side letting out only a faint click as he flips it up. His eyes are fist drawn to the only movement in the room, his gaze roving over the bed where the young man seems to settle against the mattress. His brows furrow lightly as he moves closer to the large bed, his magic dancing about along the floor allowing him to remain alert to his surroundings while he examines the restless figure. Even in the mostly dark room Rei catches sight of the sheen of sweat covering his bare body and his head tilts in question.

'I wonder what is wrong. His breathing is fast, as if he has just been in an ordeal, however he. . . .' His mind drifts back to when he lived with the other assassins. He moves in even closer just as the boy rolls and he is once again filled with curiosity as the movement flashes his scared back to you young fae. 'I must ask him about those some time. I must know who in this household has the right to strike a prince' When at last Alessandro seems to settle into a more deep slumber Rei takes his eyes away from the other and instead looks to his room. From prior visits he knows the layout quite well, however he uses this opportunity engrave it more thoroughly into his mind, adding another page to his map.

A faintly floral smell catches his attention and he follows it to a cloth laid out on the table. Reaching out he pulls the top back a bit so he can look on the flowers themselves. He knows little of herb and flower lore so the small plant means very little to him. However he does take note about it not being there last he was in the prince's chamber. Dropping the cover back the way he found it he looks once last time to his new ward and lets out a faint silent sigh. Content that he's done enough exploration for the evening he moves back to the passage. Leaving only a faint string of magic in the room to keep track of the happenings there he closes the door and returns to his own quarters. Now able to make noise without worry Rei finishes off the quail leg, bone and all, the crunching echoing lightly around the room as his lack of manners has him eating with his mouth open. He knows that he may need to do some learning of high society while in the palace, but in his own room he feels little need to stand on any sort of ceremony with only himself as company.

Edging back over to the table he covers the meal once more and wanders over to the bookshelf, wiping his hands on his pants. Snatching up his bag as he passes it he sets about putting his books away. He arranges them carefully on the lowest shelf, away from the others so that they do not get mixed in on accident. Once finishes he glances over the tomes provided him by the prince, contemplating whether or not he wants to do some reading before he sleeps. After a few seconds he shakes his head and moves over to the bed. 'I will need as much rest as I can. Much of this night was taken up by my exploration, now I will need the rest if I am to be prepared for tomorrow' Reaching up ha carefully removes his hat, setting it on the bedside table. However he leaves the headband on. Should a servant glance in the room in the night before he notices them he does not wish to risk his ears being seen. Stripping off all but his undergarments he crawls over the bed and removes all but the thin sheet and with a contented sigh he curls up beneath it. Only the very top of his head peeks out from beneath the white fabric, settled beneath the pillows rather than on them, and after years of training, he is asleep almost instantly.
Gasping wildly Seishu moans lightly as he lay amidst the swirling waters. 'Oh, that was stupid, but man, ow, this sucks' His eyes crack open just far enough to get a glimpse at the mount of blood pooling around him. However somehow the pain is far less than when last he felt his wounds. 'I better not be dying, because that would be really stupid. Nah, I'm fine, I just. . . .' A sudden smooth chill down his spine stops his thoughts short and his head turns ever so slightly at the sound of his name being called. 'Oh, hello there. Nice energy matrix you got goin' on there. Actually feels pretty good' Using little bits of the energy coming off of Enasi Seishu focuses on his arm and leg and laces the skin together. Just enough to stop the blood flow. However the pain in his middle takes over his mind once more and the waters whipping around the two guardians doubles in speed.

Enasi grabs him and for a few seconds he feels like his guts are aching to join with the blood pool beneath him. However, the close proximity to the negative energies coming off of the other quickly calms his pain ever so slightly. The feeling is just enough to return feeling to his legs.

”Sorry, but this might hurt a little.”

At those words his eyes open wider and a small spike of fear races through him. Not fear of Enasi, but of the idea of more pain. Much of Seishu's living is made by bringing pain to others, however it is not something he relishes. His eyes narrow as the other guardian's hand comes up and on instinct he brings up his own to wrap around the back of it. Feeling the faint flow of negative healing energies Seishu lets out a sigh and as best he can guides the energy to do it's work. His own energy combines with Enasi's, coiling about it, guiding it, and the pain from the healing is minimal. 'That could have been worse. Maybe I can worry him more often, heh' Rolling his eyes at the foolish thought, because of course he's going to worry the worry wart more, he does his best to get a grip on Enasi before the plunge into the water.

Pain still invading his senses, the whirlpool rages harder and harder as the move through it. He knows it's not going to stop until he gets a hold of himself, but the water itself tugs at his injuries worsening the pain and clouding his mind. A small trickle of energy over his nose and mouth makes holding his breath fairly simple but as they breach the surface Seishu takes not of the other's hard ragged breathing. 'Oh c'mon, you could have used a bit to help you out. It's not like I'ma die from a little positive lashing' He chides silently but as he is is hauled out of the water his focus returns to his own needs. Laid out on his back Crios begins running his hands over his shoulder and leg. Finding the wounds there re-sealed he moves on to the stomach wound.

Even with the roar of water so close to them Seishu hears what the doctor says and a faint wave of guilt rushes through him, along with a touch of fear. However the fear lives him quickly, knowing there is no way Enasi would send him back without being absolutely sure he's not sending the Nightmare Guardian off to his death. A wave of gratitude at the thought rushes through him, making him feel a little sick, however moments later Rue practically gives him a very useful way to get rid of it. At his cry about Enasi being hurt Seishu gathers his strength and pushes himself up slightly. He ignores Crios's sputtering protests and instead turns to Enasi. Before he can respond the Nightmare Guardian's hand darts out to press gently over his counterpart's. The gratitude ripples out of him and without a word he thanks Enasi for caring so much about him.

The positive energy counteracts most of what Enasi was hit with earlier and with a lopsided grin he murmurs, “Totally worth it.” before the darkness takes him and he passes out against the cold tiles. The roar from the water dissipates quickly and after a few seconds the pool returns to normal, only a faint lapping against the side remains of the current until that too settles. As soon as it looks safe Rue darts in close to Enasi and takes hold of his hand. A million questions race through his head however the worry showing in his eyes is enough to convey how he's feeling. He can tell that Seishu had done something to make up for hurting his lord and that made him happy way deep down.

With a huff Crios turns Seishu over and finishes his examination. As he works he addresses the Dream Guardian. “I know we can not send him home now, or else we would have. I'm not quite sure what is happening over in that Nightmare Realm, but such is the situation we are in.” His eyes flicker over to door where Harper appears with two guards by his side. The rabbit man darts over, slipping slightly on the slick soaked surface but before he can say a word Crios continues speaking. “He need negative energy, that's a fact, and I think I have an idea of where he can get it in relative safety.” He finishes his exam and sits back on his heels. Behind him his tails finally extinguish and Rue looks to him hopefully. With one last glance at Harper Crios looks to his lord with a firm glint in his eyes. “We need to take him to the human realm.”
With a chuckle Dorian murmurs, “Yes yes, bathing tomorrow.” His fingers come up to comb gently through the boy's hair, his arm partially wrapped around the smaller figure as it presses in close. The feeling of James's flesh against his own relaxes him enough so that soon after he settles Dorian himself falls to sleep. Even in his sleep the sound of the ocean washes over his ears, like a roaring lullaby bringing forth dreams of it's depths. The colors and movement beneath the waves cascades through his mind, memories of walking along it's sandy depths in the night giving him a very relaxing rest.

With a faint jolt at the young one's dismount Dorian takes a breath, his lungs protesting slightly after not being used all day. 'I know it is far in the future, however I can not wait until I bring him home with me and he finds other amusements during the night so I may sleep in a bit more. At this point however, I suppose his sleeping pattern is a good thing' A faint chuckle finds it's way out from between his lips as James crawls over the elder. 'He is much like a giant puppy' Without opening his eyes he cups the back of the boy's head and tilts his own back a bit, stretching out his neck a bit. “Take a little, then we shall bathe and prepare for our departure. I will procure us a quick meal before we head out.” His voice is a little raspy at first, but it smooths out with use.
